Not cheap but Mayfair never is. Food has never been excellent but its definitely above average. Limited seating outside so difficult when it gets busy but always a popular mix of a crowd. There are a lot of posers that like to come with flash cars parking outside (double yellow) just to be seen. I find that tiresome but usual for the area...wealth whispers as they say. But it's not the places fault, a younger crowd often need validation, it's quite funny! I enjoy sitting and watching sometimes. Nice to sit next to an interesting crowd, and always interesting conversation. Mayfair mosque is around the corner, popular place with Arabs. Drinks are good, service is OK but slows down when busy. Outside heaters are reasonable but it still gets chilly if you don't wrap up unless it's a hot summers evening. Booking is good and they text you to confirm.

Perfect food, drinks and sisha After attending a birthday party the day before, we decided we wanted to continue having a fun time in London to make the most of the weekend. A friend suggested we visit the Mamounia Lounge as a venue in Mayfair. Upon arrival we were given a table and our hostess was Gabriela. We ordered wine and an apéritif to go along with our sisha; this was our first time!! Gabriela who was excellent in her customer service, explained how to consume the sisha and suggested an amazing range of food items from their menu. She was perfect in explaining to us the different range of food items and this made it so much easier. To be honest, Gabriela was a godsend. After a little deliberation and with her assistance we ordered the following items: Moutabel, smoked aubergine puree with tahini, pomegranate, olive oil and spices Spicy Merguez sausages Cheese Briouat, Goat’s cheese pastries Lamb Tagine, sweet slow cooked lamb shoulder served ins a sweet sauce topped with prunes, pears, sultantas and almond shavings Baklava We were overjoyed with the presentation of the food and the service provided. Gabriela made our meal and experience so much more enjoyable with her professionalism and her knowledge of the Middle Eastern food and culture. She is a credit to the establishment and guided our evening perfectly. I would definitely return and would recommend it to visitors to Mayfair. Whatever you decide to do, ask for Gabriela !!!

We went for early dinner and asked if we could outside. Were given a table by the nice lady. Then a very rude guy approached us and said we had to order shisha! They brought our food and the salad came after we finished with our food. The most annoying part was there were few beggars who kept approaching us for money and there were guys from the restaurant who were standing there watching! I got really annoyed as the one who was rude to us for not smoking, didn’t even bother to ask the beggars to leave us! The food was ok the waitress was nice but the attitude of those guys and the beggars made me embarrass as I suggested the place! Will not go there again.

We visited the Mamounia lounge in Mayfair to celebrate a birthday. As expected the area was really nice and this was backed up by the Mercedes and Porsche parked outside.There was an external shisha area with the restaurant inside. The restaurant had a good vibe and we were greeted with a warm welcome even having got there twenty minutes late. We ordered the special mixed meze board which was excellent. All the different meze was good. Then we had four Lamb Tagines one Lamb chops, Marakesh salad and Mamounia fries. Although the menu describes the Tagines as sweet what we received was very sweet and this somewhat let the dish down. We have tried this dish elsewhere and this was definitely too sweet. However the Lamb chops were really nice and well cooked. The Fries unfortunately had a bit too much chilli for me which I wasn't expecting however the Fattouch salad was fresh and the toasted Lebanese bread gave it a nice crunchy texture. We ended the meal with Baklava and chocolate fondant deserts which were nice and served by several members of staff with a rendition of happy birthday in what I assume was Lebanese. This was a nice touch.

MUST READ Food - The food was very standard which is fine but was VERY overpriced. For example £40 for a small mixed grill platter or £4 for pieces of bread. Environment - I really liked that cosy environment BUT they make three people share a small square table made for two people, when served food there isn't much space on the table, the men's toilets weren't clean. The service - I would be forgive most things and leave tips if the service was good. The waiters were presentable and welcoming but the gentleman that served us made us wait 45 minutes until we got our starter and then people that came after us got served their food before us. When the food was served the waiter did not check on us until the bill was requested. The barman was not available and so alcoholic drinks were not available for some reason, only soft drinks. Overall it was a really cosy place with overpriced average food. I was too disappointed with the service to try the shisha.

Our waitress was so friendly she told us everything that we were eating & we had a nice little chat. The food was filling! The meze platter filled me by the time i got to my Mains i had to take half away. But i did eat the dessert small baklava. It made me fall in love with baklava as I've only eaten dry terrible ones but this was so moist & sweet I wish I bought more.

An excellent Lebanese bar and restaurant wonderful atmosphere and service. Life music and belly dancing. Good value for money and off street parking available after 7 pm. We started of with a mezze followed by the main coarse of either chicken or kebabs. This was then finished off with baklava. On the whole an enjoyable evening.

We visited this lively Lebanese restaurant for my Sons 15th Birthday. The food was first rate, service impeccable and the staff made a real fuss for my Son singing Happy birthday and presenting him with a lovely Chocolate gateaux and Baklawa on the house for us. There is a nice Shisha lounge on the front terrace and a great ambience inside. We will definitely come again.

We had Xmas party there. Shared platters were delicious , well presented and enough for everyone to enjoy. However the main was disappointing . I had mixed grill with chips, and included 4 kebabs, chicken and lamb, and few red onions slice on the side. No salad, no amazing signature dip, just normal ketchup, mayonnaise and plain chips . Even the presentation on the plate was mediocre . Desert was good , nothing spectacular . It was pre-set menu so maybe that could be a factor. I didn't feel there was value for money.

Came for shisha and tea/dessert. There’s an hour max, which is understandable due to the location, but maybe if you wanted to relax with a group of friends better off going elsewhere. Looked really cool and trendy from the outside with people smoking Shisha. Had a table booked on a Saturday night and was surprised the restaurant was empty. Food was mediocre and did not reflect on the price. The waitress was very attentive to a point she kept disturbing us every 5 minutes. Best service Ever, back in 2019 i was visiting this restaurant with my freinds. They kept the store open for a least 30 min extra, because it was my freinds birthday. Mamounia (35/50) . Atmosphere: inside small with leather-upholstered booths and a somewhat labyrinthine layout with an ok level of maintenance. Best is the terrace outside and obviously the only part where you are allowed to smoke. Seating there reasonably comfortable with no attempts to be overly luxurious. Cover charge of GBP 5 per person outside. (5/8) . Crowd: upmarket with a lot of wealthy middle-eastern and Asian youngsters + business types parking their obviously expensive cars right in front. Both during afternoon and evening visits packed despite ongoing Corona impact. (7/8). . Food: mezze, grills, salads of ok quality. Fresh and tasty, medium-sized portions. Not a culinary temple but good backup when smoking and drinking. (5/8) . Drinks: great fruit cocktails and teas. Wine list not reviewed yet. Giving a (temporary) neutral+ (5/8). . Shisha: well-served with limited variety of Starbuzz tobaccos. Natural coal. Regular, attentive maintenance and overall very good, long-lasting smoking experience. Helpful, friendly advice when ordering and willingness to change/upgrade when first offer not to satisfaction. No fruits available. No decoration for the shisha bowl (6/10) . We were a bit sceptical after reading some reviews. However we went for my sisters 25th birthday and really impressed. The food was lovely no complaints....the service was excellent by all staff including our waiter Svetlozar. Entertainment was also good.belly dancer was very good and really got us involved. Have looked for other shisha's nearer to me but nothing has topped mine or my friends experience at Mammonia Lounge stunning high end restaurant with beautifully presented and great tasting food. The shisha is by far the best I've ever had and the dining experience and atmosphere is splendid. I have had a few birthdays and special occasion dinner's here and have never been disappointed. The staff have always been lovely on every visit and always make sure you feel comfortable. Would highly recommend Mammonia 5 stars from me and my friend :-)

Had the mixed grill which where the meat was very tender and tasty, and a few sides of buttered couscous, halloumi cheese and potatoes which were good but portion sizes were slightly on the small side. Atmosphere was nice too, although fairly quiet. The only thing that let it down was the service as it took a long time for our menus to come, for the food order to be taken, and for the food to come. We also realised after paying that the waiter had "accidentally" added an additional £10 onto the bill in addition to the 12.5% service charge! When asking for this to be refunded he conveniently disappeared and did not reappear to apologise! It's a shame about the service as this does not encourage me to come back again.

My last night experience with the restaurant Mamounia was awfull... it was 22:00,When we got there, the first thing we have been asked was " you have a booking" no hello or anything. I said yes and he said " name?" I then gave him my name and he let us in. `The lady at the reception greated us and took us dowstairs directly to the bar and said that our table will be ready in 5min. 10 min later we eventually managed to order some drinks (even though the bar doesn't seem busy ) it took almost 10min to get the drinks.The manager then came and said that the table will be ready in 5min and he would offer us some drinks to apology. So 25 min later after we got in we were shown our table, I have to say that the food is very good and that was the only positive point.I asked for chili sauce which came just before I finished my meal and after we asked for twice for it. When We asked for the bill, the waiter came with a bill which was with £5 extra per head which was for the performers (is it fine but we would have appreciate if they had told us before hand) and an optional CC which we asked to take off the bill, the waiter clearly show us that he was happy about it by handling us the receipt without looking or just trowing it on the table. I have been to Mamounia before it was great so I only hope it was a one off and that the service will be at the same level as the food! Well done to the chef but the service was poor!

My five rating talked from assessing multiple favorites. 1) Starting with the exception desk where a professional sophisticated young lady from Dublin greats you and is beyond accommodating. 2) Server who cares about the restaurant and is reputation. She proceeds to assist us with the menu and with the information we provided her she guided us even at times suggesting we are over ordering. 3) timely delivery of the food which is as authentic as it gets 4) The tagine lamb dish, chicken, sampler grilled kabobs, mixed brown rice, kuskus was just perfect 5) desert in the dorm of Baklava (ice tried every kind from every country all my life), this sampler matched the best! Right through the dinner process the staff couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating! Prices are reasonable!

The ambience and decor of this place borders on opulent. Dimly lit, extravagant adornings, security guards, doormen, fantastic cocktails and very good shisha outside the ground floor bar add to this. When you are finally seated, the food is sumptuous. Possibly the best mezze I've had and the tagine was extraordinarily put together. The staff were also extremely accommodating. It should also be noted that we were a table of 12 and despite this it was still fantastic. And then there's the evening entertainment which consisted of belly dancers, live bands and DJs. The only negatives I can walk away with are that the entertainment whilst eating may not be some people's cup of tea. The dim lighting is also not ideal for eating my piping hot food. The service was not quick, but this added to the feeling of eating a long dinner with many courses. All in all, a very good recommendation.

Our Christmas party was held at Mamounia lounge which we are very thankful for! Firstly, the venue was superb, we had the private room downstairs which was lovely and we were very well taken care of. Staff amazing, wonderful service. The food was excellent, both the shared mezze as starters and main course. The cocktails exquisite, the overall energy and vibe fenomenal. My girlfriend and I visited Mamounia on a Friday night and were looked after extremely well since we stepped in the restaurant. we had a glass of champagne at the bar before been shown to our table. The staff were really nice and attentive (and Beautiful!!:), and they helped us choosing a selection of incredible Mezze and a delicious main course. The mezze were beautifully presented and REALLY good! as main course my partner had a grilled sea-bass which was superb and I had a AMAZING lamb shoulder (it was so tender and tasty.... it melts in your mouth!). we had all this accompanied by the best cocktails i ever had (i recommend to everybody the passion-fruit mojito...superb!!!). the chocolate fondant we both had for dessert was seriously good too! it was a really great experience, not just a dinner!! i would recommend Mamounia to anyone!
