We were holding groupon voucher, felt very welcomed there and we could pick any items from the menu. The waitress, Cristina, was so polite and always has a smile on her face, very attentive! The food was so tasty and good portion, what more can you ask for?

Delicious Italian place! We are glad we found such a great place in London. Food is amazing and portions are generous. The pasta is home made which definitely increases the value of this place. Prices are reasonable. I can’t wait to come back again!

Recommended by a friend, we’d a fantastic experience on a Friday night. The quality and preparation of the food is incredible. I think the relation price / quality is very good, something rare to find. Scialatielli in their various combinations are definitely to be tried. I really enjoyed my experience there. We had a lovely lunch, the place isn't very big but cosy. Staff were very friendly. Food was just lovely. Portions are generous, one main dish and a starter to share between 2 or 3 is just perfect. I recommend arancini to share ( 5 small rice fried balls with tomato sauce on the side) and the pasta dishes are very tasty. I had pasta with burrata and pesto sauce with pistaccio, delicious. I will come back : )

We had a wonderful time at Meridionale restaurant. All courses were very good and fresh. Quality of ingredients is very high, portions are abundant enough, service is very good and price is fair. I think such combination is more unique than rare to find.

The food at Meridionale is different to the usual Italian food I have tasted in London so far. The taste was subtle but flavoursome and not overpowering at all. The mains are huge portions so totally worth the price. They offered the pizza and pasta as gluten free as well. Most of their ingredients were organic as well. The staff are so lovely and check in on you if the food is OK just at the right time. I would recommend coming here as the food is amazing. I went on a Friday night and had a table booked in advance as there were a lot of walkins turned away as it was so busy. They also accept the taste card - 2-4-1 on food only.

Four stars, and not five, only because the chair was uncomfortable. The food was extremely good! One of the best pasta I had in London. The dessert, super. I suggest: the pasta with pistachio and the cannolo as dessert!

Calamari fritti were delicious , chicken escalope was very succulent and crunchy, pizza calabrese was a bit spicy , short of tomato sauce and olive oil The almond/lemon curd cake was nice and affogato was also good just need a bit more espresso for such a huge portion of ice cream The coffee was proper southern Italian toast , surely must be kimbo The whole food was good and reasonably priced , I would definitely recommend as a good , genuine Italian fare

Sharing my life with an Italian means that I am forbidden to go to second rate / fake Italian restaurants so I can consider myself lucky to have this place next to the house. The pizza is great, on par with the best. The pasta I tried was super tasty to the point that I returned a clean plate. And it's not just the food, the service is also great, friendly and efficient. Truly an amazing dining experience!

It is an amazing restaurant! The staff was italian and they were really friedly. We went there with meerkat offer and it was a right choice. The place does not look like a traditional italian restaurant which was good, it has its own style. We ordered spicy meat pizza, calzone, tiramisu and wine. I did love the tomato sauce they use! Wine was stunning! Also even when I heated the canzone next day, it was still yummy! Looking forward to going there again!

My favourite place for pasta! The Scialatielli Meridionale is 10/10 fantastic and the Aubergine Parmigiana 🍆 is out of this world. Friendly service too! You gotta go here.

Second time we have visited Meridionale and again the food was amazing. Having visited Rome recently and enjoyed some of the finest Caprese and Pasta you can find, this London gem is as close as I have found to that authentic Italian experience.

I totally love Meridionale and so happy it is in my neighbourhood! The pizza is absolutely one of the best in London and they are always so kind to customise it for me. I usually order pizza but recently I was tempted by Enzo, the owner, to try the other dishes on the menu…and he was right, I love them: stunning home made pasta (scialatielli are gorgeous!), excellent fish and lovely tiramisu! I can’t recommend this place enough and all my friends keep thanking me for sharing this finding with them. Food is great and Enzo and his team are so lovely and welcoming that you really feel like being in the South of Italy!

Had a craving for pizza last night. Found this place online. It did not disappoint. We had a lovely aperol spritz followed by some green olives - all fleshy and juicy. Then the main attraction, pizza! I had the calabrese, which features a delicious spicy salami and chilli, it was just the right amount of warming heat. Dough was very flavoursome and a generous but not over the top amount of toppings. Reminded me of pizza from Naples. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Decor was cool too.

We ate a three-course lunch here yesterday and were delighted with the quality of the food - this is now our favourite Italian restaurant, and the best meal out we've had in a long time. The service was charming too; thank you!

Enzo is a great host! The special Pizza I had was amazing (light dough and prime quality ingredients) and Scialatielli my wife had (one of my favourite type of pasta!) were "perfectly al dente" and full of favour... just as they are supposed to be! Service was amazing and the young guy working there was not just very professional but also very friendly and with amazing language skills (fluent in at least 4 languages including Russian!). The atmosphere was very warm and pleasant. We finished with a dessert of "Straccetti with Nutella" as dessert... a real sin we could not resist! We enjoyed a lot and we will be definitely back! ☺👍

I was brought something I really disliked, so I barely touched the plate. I was prepared to be polite and say it just wasn't in my taste and not make a big deal. But nobody bothered to ask if anything was wrong, they just took the barely touched plate away and charged me the full price. Have no respect for places like that, will not be returning.
