We just happened upon this restaurant and we are so glad we did. We were seated right away. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The mozzarella taster was fabulous with titrated herb and garlic bread. It was a relaxed meal with lovely chianti and fab food. I'd love to go back again.

We ate lunch at this restaurant on Saturday afternoon. We ordered the artichoke tortellini and the spaghetti with prawns for our mains. Both pasta dishes were tasty and made with fresh ingredients. We also ordered a couple of desserts. Everything we ordered was delicious! It's evident from the quality of the food that this is an Italian restaurant that prides itself on quality of ingredients and service. The team who run this branch were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

The restaurant is quite nice looking though nothing spectacular. We were in the room at the very end, allowing for a bit more quiet & remote atmosphere. Staff could have been slightly more friendly. We asked to change some of the plates as they were not cleaned properly and this was not very well received. The minimum would have been to have a small apology for having served us 3 dirty plates (out of 4 people). Food was overall of good quality. Only part that was actually not so good was the smoked mozzarella in the cheese selection. This was too artificial and therefore not good. Other than that, all very good. I would recommend the place if you are looking for an easy Italian restaurant that is not too pricey. Booking recommended.

First off, the food was amazing. So tasty and great. As for service, we were slightly confused from the off. We asked if we could substitute some of the meat for vegetarian options, as my girlfriend is veggie, for the sharing platter. The woman proceeded to laugh and say ‘no we don’t do vegetarian cheese here’. I responded with ‘ahh sorry. ‘I meant for the meat on the board.’ And she went ahh. And provided no other response than this. It wasn’t very helpful and we had no other response from this. She didn’t say if we could or not. From this, we just ordered separately, which we didn’t want to do. As I say, food however was great.

A few people wanted to get dessert (especially because of all the good reviews about the tiramisu) but we ditched that idea when the waiter never returned to take our order. We also had to chase our waiter down several times just to pay the bill.

Obica turned into such a wonderful place to grab dinner. The food was truly excellent, the staff were delightful, and it worked out to be a great place for a double date. The food was served cold. I had to ask them to heat the pasta up. But the staff was nice. He's Italian. I asked him to teach me Italian words. Also, they seemed to be busy and we had to wait for almost half an hour to get our food. It was too long. But we made up for us by giving us free desserts. The desserts were really, really nice. I love desserts of any kind so that's where the 4 stars come from. Originally, I wanted to give 3 stars only. The environment is not bad. Just another Italian restaurant. Not much different.

The restaurant ambient is friendly easy going and cozy enough. The food is not the best quality I ever tasted, personally I don't care about which famous chef there's in the kitchen if the food is not extraordinary anyway. The value for money is not the best, indeed some prices are too high for the quality of food. Probably I advise you to visit Obicà Restaurant in the afternoon, to drink a good glass of italian wine, maybe outdoor, to get some relax with a friend, then it could be really enjoyable.

Google currently says temporarily closed but it's open. Really nice food and staff - very conscientious in relation to COVID19 precautions too. It would be even better if they banned smoking on the outdoor tables so that the chain-smokers on the next table weren't spoiling things a bit for other people.

We visited London tonight and ate here and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. We love italian food and didn't get into our first choice so tried Obica and managed to get a table. The service was above and beyond. Very very welcoming, friendly, knowledgable and caring staff. Ola was brilliant, she virtually explained the entire menu to us and was very helpful in making our choices, and, she wasn't wrong. The food was amazing. For starter we has classic Buffala mozzarella with fresh tomatos and pesto... Gorgeous. Beautiful, fresh, simplistic italian cuisine at it's best. Mains, I had a pizza and the missus a pasta carbonara... both loved the dishes and even requested some of the home made pesto to take away to have at home with pasta, and they obliged. In all, 10/10 service, and the food lived up to it. 100% would visit again.

Never fails to disappoint! Mozzarella is always fresh and tasty, and whether you have pasta or salad, the quality is always superb. Not the cheapest, mind you, but the food is great. At the front they have bistro style environment, with lots of natural light whereas at the back it is more romantic and great for dates.

I’ve eaten here several times and each time the food has been very good. I’ve tried a variety of the different style mozzarellas (I particularly love the smoked one!), the pizza, which is very good, and some of the side dishes, as well as some of the desserts (they do one dessert which is basically a selection of small portions of a whole lot of their desserts, which is fabulous). They have a relatively decent selection of wines as well. Personally I find their pricing very reasonable considering the quality of the food, and the service has always been good, even when it’s been busy (and it usually is). This, along with Princi and Franco Manca, are my favourite places to get Italian food in Soho.

I must confess that the name "mozzarella bar" is what pulled me in, and though there is delicious buffalo and burrata on the menu, it is mainly just your run of the mill Italian restaurant. The pasta dishes were quite small considering their price, though admittedly very tasty, and I found myself jealous of my fellow diners' pizzas - they were apparently delicious.

This place is all about the mozzarella! The food is very tasty and there's a good selection of beverages. It's a little pricier than some places and some of the portion sizes (notably the ravioli) can seem quite small and won't fill you up alone. The staff are very attentive, but I'm never a fan of places that automatically add an optional service charge to the bill.

Had a wonderful second date at Obica, the mozzarella was as stunning as the company and the service was excellent with recommendations given and a speedy response to any requests. Only downside was the amount of chocolate dust on the tiramisu which could have choked a horse! If you like chocolate dust then absolutely fill your boots with this dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant but watch out for that chocolate dust...

Food was good, had the black truffle mozzarella and the prawn pasta and they were both very delicious. However the waiter who served us tried to guess where I was from by saying hello in different Asian languages. I don't appreciate that and I also think it's inappropriate especially if you don't know for sure where the other person is from. Also the same waiter was very cheeky about tips, brought the bill with card machine. Didn't give us enough time to read the bill and process everything.

I'd had pumpkin in a patty style with breadcrumbs recently at Yo! Sushi and really enjoyed that. However, I think that it is just a matter of preference. For main we shared a ham and mushroom pizza - tasty but not really hot enough when it arrived and not enough mushrooms! The pic shows the pear tart with icecream which was divine. Wine also very tasty but you dont get a very large glass for £11!

Nice restaurant but the focaccia was too salty, and we had to pay for the bread in extra, even though we picked the mozzarella degustation (which proposed 4 mozzarella to try). I was expecting the mozzarella to be all excellent, but it wasn't the case, only the ricotta one and the smoked mozzarella were worth it. I was disappointed in the burrata one, and the classical mozzarella, which tasted exactly like the good ones that you can buy in supermarkets. A disappointing experience overall, for a place that's supposed to be specialized in mozzarella!

I am Italian and I think this place is really good. Not on the super cheap side, but hey, can't have it all. They have a great lunch menu for 11GBP 1x kind of pasta (cacio e pepe usually)+salad+soft drink - tbh that's really not bad as pricing goes in central London. Two waiters also Italians, that always makes me happy :)

Whatever you do, don't leave this restaurant without trying the burrata! A place that centres itself around mozzarella also does a small selection of excellent pastas (with a deliciously indulgent gnocchi), and huge slow-risen pizzas. Even the desserts are superb, so save at least a little space!
