Excellent food and service, quiet and a good wine list. With a better choice of vegetarian dishes I'd have given it a 5 star rating. I booked it on open table and put 'birthday' as the occasion. This resulted in the biscotti in the photo which was a nice touch.

Popped in her for a drink ended staying for dinner, we ordered a few dishes from the menu, pizza & pasta. I found there was no continuity with the carbonara one dish was good the other was ok, but the pizza was really good. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Oooshh, trecking through Westminster after 6 days on the lash. Wanted nothing more than a taste of home; and Osteria did not disappoint. NOW that's what I call a traditional Blackpool roast dinner, with all the Tony trimmings! Even let me eat it off the kitchen floor so I really felt at home. It's been a pleasure chaps

3/5 as the wines were very good but the food is lacking and customer service was mixed. The food is very average - flavours were bland, carpaccio was unlike what it should be - more like ham with unfresh salad, tiramisu was tasty but you could not call that tiramisu..... Customer service was a mixture - we had great service from the staff however one waitress was very moody the entire time. Overall, I would come to taste the wines but not the food.

Excellent Dinner. Great selection of dishes on the menu. Food freshly prepared with nice presentation. Venison was amazing. We were sat in a nice and quiet table, which was perfect for us. Staff friendly and very attentive to details. Our first visit and we definitely coming back.

I had the steak which was cooked to the consistency I asked-medium and lighlty pink. I could cut through the steak easily as it was succulent and full of flavour. The dish was combined with my favourite sides of spinach and roast potatoes. The restaurant was lovely spacious and soft lighting and there was reminisce of italy all around: The coffee machine the tradition stands which holds the ham (empty of course).

Hidden Gem. If you want to try a real Italian restaurant I suggest Osteria dell 'Angolo. Friendly and welcoming staff. Homemade pasta is a must try!!! Tip: tagliolini with octopus and the venison are both very testy. Really good prices for the area. Highly recommend.

Had dinner here last week as I was in the area and just passing with a colleague. Thought we'd give it a try as we both had not eating italian in a while. I was plesently supprised! amazing food, great wine selection and service was top notch. Attentive and knoledgeable of the menu and ingredients. I did not try the deserts as I had aperitivo to digestivo so was prtty full. Love italian food, I would thoughly recommend even if one is not just in the area. Hope to visit again.

Decor is much more stylish than their website photos would suggest. Service attentive and food delicious. Allocation of key ingredients a little mean at the prices charged - a few more scallops, calamari, and pieces of lamb would have made all the difference and still been profitable. No non-alcoholic wines or beers on the menu.

A very warm and welcoming Italian experience in the heart of London! The restaurant was very welcoming, the staff very professional and very efficient in whatever we have asked for. The food is freshly prepared and up to the standards of Michelin starred restaurants! Freshly prepared pasta, a marvelous tuna steak and a excellent fillet were our choices. We have been impressed by the selection of wines and we have chosen a Chianti Villa Antinori! The house was there to introduce us also which was the best year of the vineyard! A real treat... I would like to mention the phenomenal tiramisu (very different from whatever similar you might have tried so far) and my wife enjoyed an excellent espresso martini! The host and the chef have passed personally from our table, to make sure that our experience was at the level of our expectations. Italian hospitality at its best in central London! Grazie

what a great experience! we discovered this lovely restaurant a few steps from our hotel. Nice staff and tasty food. we tried salami, burrata and the scallops as starters and we had fresh pasta with crab meat and the guinea fowl. excellent bread and olive oil offered by a professional waiter. Superb desserts (caprese tortino and baba) sweet wines and italian espresso. we enjoyed the recommended Tuscan wine. For sure we will be back in January!!!! highly recommended

This is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever visited in London. If you want to have an intimate dinner with your partner - this is the right place to go. The menu is super extensive and hard to pick out from all of the items... Reasonable prices and super friendly staff.

Nice, but not exciting. We were there on a friday night, and the place was confortable - which is a nice in London, not being overly crowded on a friday night. Nevertheless, it was really much more like a familiy restaurant than as a hipster crowd. The food was of good, but variable quality. We had the Filleto de Manzo, which had a very piece of meat. The quality was nice, but overall was pretty bland. The Ravioli di ricotta was much more interesting, with a distinguishable flavour, that was dominated by beetroot. The tagliatelle with sausage was excellent, and a very interesting surprise. As desert, the cheesecake was also very tasty, and worth a visit (at least, if you are not a fan of extra sweets). Overall, a nice place to go if you like a nice evening with good food, in a relaxed place. Count with about 30-35£ per person, with one drink.

Hard to find restaurants round here - area feels very dead at night (office blocks and not much else). Lovely place, feels authentically Italian, with an interesting menu (buffalo mozzarella and fried courgette was surprisingly very pleasant!) Good option if you need to eat in this area. They also have good mid-week deals.

Found Osterio by chance, after visiting the concierge at the Doubletree nearby. He made the reservation for us. Kudos for the recommendation! Nice restaurant, friendly, attentive staff.
