The wife and I enjoyed a truly authentic dinner experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. The venue is stunning

Decent spot for Italian fare - didn’t love the appetizers (octopus carpaccio and tuna tartare) but the pasta main and the sea bass were delicious, and the tiramisu was quite good. Service was a bit slow, but they were very nice.

I was treated by my partner, to a meal at this stunning restaurant, yesterday evening, in celebration of my birthday! From our initial phone calls to advise them we were running late, until we left the restaurant, we were treated in such a friendly yet completely professional manner and made to feel so comfortable and at ease! I was presented with a surprise, personalised birthday gift, courtesy of the restaurant and my desert had even been decorated with birthday wishes! We were extremely impressed with the restaurants extensive wine list and as equally impressed with Maria, the sommeliers , knowledge and professionalIsm preparing our wine! We ordered the Salmone Alla Crema Toscana & the Spaghetti Alla Bolognese which both tasted divine! The original palatial ceiling features and the relaxed atmosphere, proved a very romantic and cosy atmosphere. We dressed up, as it was my birthday, but other diners were dressed a little more down in trainers etc and all worked well together! After not having such a fine dining experience for so long, this restaurant, the food, impeccable service and of course company, was gratefully appreciated! Thank you all, especially Lukasz, who made the whole night very special for us both!

Exceptional food, amazing ambience and the best service in town! The waiters have the best recommendations for you with the sommelier Maria suggesting you the greatest wine pairing. There is no such place in London! Great for celebrations, meetings and a tasteful dinner. The team went extra in surprising me with a birthday gift, tiramisu and singing Happy Birthday. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful restaurant with a great wine selection. Starters were good. Main and dessert were rubbish - truffle risotto was over cooked (and it’s a tiny little portion), bolognese was tasteless, lemon tart was too hard. Given the price point, I’m probably not coming back. It’s def not worth the price.

Very good food and lovely interior, but expensive. The experience was spoiled somewhat by (i) having to give credit card details upon booking - a fee is apparently charged if you don't cancel with sufficient notice, (ii) receiving a confirmation call two days before the booking, to make sure we were really going, and (iii) receiving another text message one day later just to be absolutely certain that we would turn up. Honestly, I have booked international flights with less admin. Get over yourselves guys, you are serving lunch not hosting the Yalta conference!

We had a really nice time with a family, worth to mention they have a kids menu which is a rare thing when you come down to the City with little ones. Friendly and quick service, we took a few starters to share - beef carpaccio with rocket and aioli and tuna tartare are now my favourites! For mains we tried slow-cooked octopus, so tender! Ossobuco is one of the best I have ever tried anywhere.

Fantastic service from Maria made this a positive experience... She was so professional and charming! A gorgeous ambiance and surprisingly 'posh' setting for straight forward Italian food. The only negative feedback is about the pizza: my dinner companion (who's from the south of Italy) said the crust was more like a cracker than a traditional pizza base... He was disappointed and didn't really eat it. My beef carppacio with gorgonzola cheese sauce was to die for.

I thought it will be just another good Italian restaurant. But it was excellent, way above my expectations. Went there as soon as restrictions allowed for visit. Definitely go for starters - carpaccio was absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere is great, very spacious. Service is good too, everyone is quite attentive to your needs. Price-wise it feels a little expensive, but it’s worth it. Great choice of wine.

I'm completely serious. This is the best Italian place I've ever had and I had a lot. Don't leave London before stopping here. Perfect romantic atmosphere, the place is palatial and cozy, feels very intimate and friendly. If you go there hope that your waitress is Enea, he was absolutely amazing. Actually, everybody was, even the owner of the place came to talk with us.

Amazing place! One of the best Italian restaraunts in London! We’ve been twice since the opening and already planning our next visit! One of the most exquisite wine lists paired with amazingly fresh seafood (octopus ceviche is a must!). Location and design are another level as well! 5 stars and recommendation.

I found Piazza Italiana excellent. Food is superb, very refined and peculiar (try any carpaccio for starter); service is very friendly and attentive (well done Enea and Maria); atmosphere is quiet, the music low, the building used to be a bank in the old times and it’s beautiful inside. Had to rearrange our visit to Piazza Italiana few times, and felt quite bad, but someone called Natalie put me at ease and asked not to worry at all, and that they will keep the table for us! Since I was late, and heading to another meeting afterwards, didn’t have a chance to try starters and ordered pasta with some truffles. Well, after that pasta, I can call this restaurant truly Italian. Amazingly done! Got cider to drink, since was surprised to see the item in the menu I never heard of. Apparently Italians also do cider and doing it so well that I asked to repeat. First visit and definitely the first out of many to come!

Exquisite dining experience. The restaurant itself is located in the heart of London’s business life, but when you enter the building you are teleported to the cultural heart of Italy, I’d say to Florence. The astonishing architecture of the place is complimented by the all time favourite italian songs. The spacing between the tables gives you enough room to breathe (surprising for London restaurants) but at the same time you don’t feel abandoned. And then, food. It might sound cliche but the restaurant offers the best focaccia and bolognese pasta on our little island called UK. It’s a must visit if you truly appreciate great service and splendid choice of meals.

Really nice place to visit for a treat, I would say the the wine is highly priced comapred to most places I have visited the cheapest bottle of red available when we visited was £49. The food is definitely special, don't expect to be able to get a pizza here. I had truffle risotto which was fantastic and the panna cotta with apple granita for dessert. Would reccom3nd if you are looking for something a little special.
