Reviews of Piccolino Heddon Street
P. G. C.
Fantastic! I went for our anniversary with my partner and we got two free glasses of prosecco to start.
The food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the prices were reasonable.
The deserts were a bit expensive but in my opinion totally worth it. Please try the tiramisu.
Highly recommend it.

Got a table straight away. Intended to have a drink ended up having dinner. Loved the food Our waiter Tony was very attentive to us the entire time super service even it being a busy night and thank you to the kind hostess for retrieving my piccolo club card. looking forward to my next visit.2nd visit was as lovely as the first had the chance to be seated downstairs which was a quiet and lovely seating.
H. R.
Food was tasty and portion sizes were good. Ravioli was inconsistent with fellow party members dishes and lacked some sauce and finesse in presentation. Music in the restaurant was a little too loud which meant we had to shout across the table. Prices were fair and expected for the area.

Second visit within a month. Great restaurant, the food is fresh, staff are polite. Good selection of food without it being overwhelming. Highly recommended the lasagne!
L. S.
The service was first class, with Simone being very Professional and helpful. The ambiance was very noisy as it was a Saturday night, which is fine if that is what you want. The Food was acceptable without being of the highest standard. We will revisit probably for Sunday lunch.

There's nothing more comforting than having a good plate of pasta and a nice glug of wine on a wet midweek lunchtime, sitting on a heated terrace watching the world go by.
Our pipping hot Spaghetti Vongole, perfectly al dente with fat, juicy clams, slivers of garlic and unctuous white wine sauce with a hint a chilli and the Rigattoni All'ananatra, smothered in
duck ragu, red wine and rosemary sauce were just what the doctor ordered.
Add two glasses of Nero D'Avolo and two strong macchiatos to finish with and you have a perfect lunch. And even better, Piccoloni (part of the Individual Restaurants Group) also give to loyalty points to collect towards your next meal each time to done with them.
Excellent.

Amazing food! Especially dover sole! Lovely service too. Definitely worth coming back. P.s. expected free shot of lemoncello at the end...however, loved everything else x
K. L.
Lovely restaurant with an amazing selection of wine and cocktails. The food is tasty and authentic. I’ve actually come back 3 times now both for their food and the cocktails that you can enjoy outside on a warm evening or on a cold evening with their heated terrace. Highly recommended!
A. A.
Excellent service, selection of dishes and quality of ingredients. They also have fresh orange juice which I really appreciated. Overall a good Italian in London which you should try!
J. G.
WE LOVE GOING THERE TO CELEBRATE FRIENDS BIRTHDAYS OR JUST TO MEET UP. THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT WITH MUSIC AND EVEN DJs AT TIMES. YOU CAN GO THERE JUST FOR DRINKS TOO, IF YOU DON'T NEED TO EAT.
G. C.
Alfresco Italian dining at its best. Visited during lockdown whilst we could only sit outside, but I think that made the experience all that more special. I can recommend the Bread Pane to start, followed with the Pollo, Chicken and baby roasted potatoes on the side. We finished with the cheesecake and the apricot tart. Both worth the extra calories. Contrary to other reviews, the quality of the food is excellent. Staff are super efficient and friendly. I will certainly go back.
P. B.
The place is nice good food and wine. The service could have been better.
K.
Food was absolutely yummy, really enjoyed it. Didn't feel welcomed by staff throughout which was a shame as the food was great and would recommend eating here, however it's just that much better when you have friendly and accommodating staff.
J. C.
Absolutely fantastic birthday meal with my friends and family. The food was superb, second to none service, amazing hospitality, and fantastic atmosphere. One of my best birthdays! Thank you! :)
M. T.
Great quality food. Good customer service. Nice decor. Above average prices.

The atmosphere is nice and lively. We were a large group of people but they managed the foods and service for us quite well. However, I ordered Spaghetti Vongole and there was a clam full of sands which I had to send it back. Instead, I ordered spaghetti carbonara, which tastes really bland (probably need more salt). It was a shame as the Vongole tastes very nice. The price is also a bit too high as I think a bland carbonara shouldn’t cost me £14.50.

If you want to eat Italian in London then you can't miss 'Piccolino'. I had been a while ago at the 'Piccolino' in Liverpool street where I had a great time. Today being Sunday I was in the mood for pasta and in this restaurant I found the classic Italian Bolognese, an endless appetizer with a very good focaccia, traditional Italian cheeses and meats, then we had a Milanese veal all accompanied by a very good red wine. The environment is elegant but not formal, with a staff that is always attentive to the customer, all very kind and polite and made us feel at home on a Sunday with all the warmth of Italy.
A. D. P.
Good food, super friendly!
S. L.
Lovely food but Poor Service! Very slow with our main course and dessert.Such a shame as past experience there was better than our latest visit :(
A. S.
Nothing special food wise. Went with the set menu. Calamari good but small. Rump steak tasted cheap unaged...the chocolate desert tasted off...a bit sour but could be due to the ice cream accompaniment ...flavours didn't work. Staff were very friendly and attentive and worked well with our large group.
O. D.
Reasonably priced for location. Great food, variety of drink options. Highly recommend
N. K.
Sorry guys, my risotto was just rice with peas, my husband’s lasagna was cold and tasteless, not good for so called Italian restaurant.
K. A.
This is by far one of my favorites restaurants of Europe. We have been traveling to so many different places and piccolino has my heart. The lamb was to die for. The tiramisu was terrific. The service was very Italian and warming. They had a great live DJ and where very accommodating.
A. G.
The atmosphere was beautiful and you could see that the chefs were there making fresh food and cutting fresh meats! It was on a cool alley in Picadilly with lots of festive lighting so it was hard to miss while walking by. The butternut squash soup was really nice and warm. The bread went really well with this. I would stay away from the gnocchi. It felt like something that was heated up for a meal on an airplane.

Visited Piccolino for my Girlfriend's 21st birthday and we had a great time! My advice would be to reserve a table before hand as it was fairly busy for a Tuesday night. The ambience was superb, waiting staff were friendly and attentive and the menu was comprehensive. As our table was reserved we were able to sit at the bar, we were able to drink and watch the chef prepare Antipasti in front of us. Service, contrary to some of the other reviews, was pretty quick and the waiter was generous with the parmesan! Food was exquisite albeit a bit expensive, I'd definitely recommend the Beef ravioli with a side, as the main portion on its own is quite small. The reason why the rating isn't 5* is because we couldn't use the 50% off mains, as advertised for January - instead we received £20 off which was kind. Also there was quite a draught every time the door opened, so if possible ask to sit as far away from the door as possible!
N. K.
Calamari and bruschetta for starters were incredible as was their wine collection. Main course i had smoked salmon pizza which was delicious and desert was a chocolate truffle fondue. All courses were from a set menu for £25 before 6pm. Staff were lovely and very hospitable and would be a perfect date place as we had a candlelit dinner as it got darker.
M. K.
Superb service and foods, good selection of drinks and wines. Luigi made our visit very special, we really enjoyed every minute we spent there. Also when we got the bill we got surprised because our desserts and coffee were on the house.
Really good place worth to visit. 😊

We took my mum here for her 60th birthday day out in London. They were so helpful and allowed us to leave a cake and her present at the restaurant in the morning as we couldn't take them into the theatre with us. The food was delicious. I think the four empty plates were proof enough - and some people in my family are hard to please! We had a really lovely evening, the staff were attentive and even when things were a little delayed, they got it sorted as soon as possible for us.
G. S.
Me and my wife had a very nice time in this Italian Restaurant in Heddon St.
We had yummy and delicious food with a very polite staff in particular Gabriele a very good guy , friendly professional and helpful.

My husband took me to this restaurant for our 30th anniversary. We really enjoyed the food and the service was spot on. I would visit again if in London.
P. S.
Had a Christmas meal here, food was good however it did take about 30minutes for a waiter to come to attend my table. But maybe because it was busy, nonetheless it was nice.
P.
Nice one, if you want to taste some Italian wines. I had the Chianti, which was good. I would also go for the Montepulciano, as I am a fan of Tuscany red wines.
A bit pricey but you expect that considering the area and the wine quality
Staff was helpful and found us a sit - if you consider it was Saturday and it was so busy
K. P.
Food was 10/10! The salmon farfalle was out of this world. And the cherry cheesecake was yummy too 😋
م. ا. ع.
I love this place. The Italian spaghetti is mesmerising with extremely delicious hints of the yummy cheese that they put on it. The service is incredible. I would definitely recommend to others in Central London!

Went early on a Wednesday evening. Very good staff, attentive and willing to please. I was not familiar with the menu but staff very patient. Enjoyed food and Merlot was easy drinking. I'm a bit deaf and staffed accommodated me to one of the quieter areas. Would definitely return and will recommend to my friends and customers
R.
A very mixed bag here - ordered calamari and fries for starter - spaghetti meatball bolognese and spaghetti carbonara for main- all excellent.
Unfortunately got let down by the poor service and HAIR in the carbonara - starters came out in different times so finished one before the other came. Carbonara was replaced swiftly but no cutlery given.
Atmosphere good and decor elegant.
S. M.
Attentive staff and delicious food! Also a great wine list. Perfect birthday meal!
F.
Very nice Italian pizzeria just behind Regent Street. Pizza was tasty and so was the tiramisu. Price was fair for location/quality of food.
S. B.
Food is not ad exceptional as is said, the starter was a carpet of meat, one breadstick in two people and two pieces of cheese. Can't seat if taller than 1,70-80 mt

Just turned the big '70' and my three beautiful granddaughters wanted to treat me to a meal and show in London.. the show Les Miserables was fabulous... seen this show so many times and and always loved every time I have gone.
But firstly they booked the restaurant Piccoleno. What a great choice it was.
The restaurant was wonderful, from the service, the staff, the ambiance and location. And finally the food.
It was wonderful. Great choices on the menu. Was also made to feel very welcome, and they were so attentive.
Finally, the girls decided on a desert, I declined was full already... then surprisingly enough, the staff appeared with a plate of delicious Tiramisu with a lighted candle, singing happy Birthday to me, such a wonderful surprise.
Full five stars for this restaurant, and I will definitely be returning soon.
Thank you all so much , helped make my day more special.😊👍
R. P.
This meeting up with friends the restaurant clean the staff food and drink with both of a reasonable only downside the service was somewhat slow but that didn't bother us more time to talk
А. С.
Nice atmosphere of restaurant will help to relax after work or during your travelling. Prices not cheap, be ready to pay approximately 65-70 pounds for 2 person's dinner(soup, salad, bread, wine, water).
C. J.
Great location, good food, perfect for a leisurely lunch with friends.
R. M.
Food was great, however seats and table are lower than standard making it uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time. All members of my party of varied heights had found it uncomfortable. I recommend if they would like customers to stay longer and order more drinks, change the seating.
G. B.
Great food and stuff! The best pizza in town, the spinach ravioli amazing and the tiramisu also. Everyone from the stuff was very kind and smiled and with knowledge for what they served. For sure we will go back again!
Thank you guys for this amazing experience! ❤🙂
J. Y.
Good pasta, etc and nice, spacious environment (with some covered outside seating). Staff generally good but seemed stretched on a Wednesday evening - recruitment issues? Pricing OK.
G. C.
Classy Italian restaurant, and great value considering the location.
We only had 45 min. for lunch, and they had everything delivered to the table incredibly quickly, so we didn't have to rush whilst eating. Great service!
R. P.
OK, so Nonna isn't in the kitchen - possibly saving a calorie or two - but no matter. This is a sophisticated Italian experience: great food, attentive but relaxed service and a lively atmosphere.
Never heard of Heddon Street? Just off Regents Street and perfectly placed for a lunch break from retail exertions.
M.
Lovely food! My 4 year old loved the spaghetti, I loved my vongole and carbonate was also amazing!
C. F.
Food was really good but the staff had absolutely no idea what they were doing - think they were clearly new
S. F.
Beautiful food and excellent service. The 'Spritz Hugo's' are thoroughly recommended!
W. E.
Only had drinks there and the service was great the team were all very attentive
J. F.
Lovely place just away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Very nice atmosphere. Excellent food and lovely stuff. If you get there ask for Emiglio who is always super helpful
M. G.
Food, service and taste is just perfect! Must visit if your in Italian food.
A. B.
Fabulous. Great food. Very pleasant staff.
R.
The tastiest pastas, great starter and sides selection and exceptional service. I enjoy every visit!
High Recommend

Overall had a good experience here (and the outdoor heated area is lovely and warm). Lots of vegetarian options but I feel I didn’t order particularly well with the vegan gnocchi - for me, the gnocchi was quite chewy, and the sauce basic and bland. Would go again nonetheless, and avoid the gnocchi next time!
D. L.
Great cocktails in the bar below. Good location and for the area, the prices are pretty good.
J. K.
Small bar area, music too loud for a restaurant. Food OK although one of the party had to return their steak as overcooked. Not a place to go if you want to be able to speak easily to anyone you are with
B. B.
Good food - nothing extraordinary but all very tasty, and a nice wine list. Friendly and attentive staff and a lively atmosphere. The interior is starting to look a little dated - time for a refresh perhaps. Overall very good and I would go back there over other places just because the people working there are so nice.
B. C.
Delicious food but portions are remarkably small compared to other piccolino establishments.
h. a.
Very nice Italian restaurant. Welcoming people. Very very very nice staff. High recommended
H.
Food was very nice, but a bit expensive. Service was very good.
Maybe just because I’m not from London, was a bit shocked to be charged for water. Especially a fiver
P. R.
Food was decent, maybe not worth the price you pay. I found the waiter a little pushy with upselling stuff. Location is nice though.
C. B.
Great place to enjoy a meal. Excellent food and service. Very ample menu for all tastes. We sat on the terrace nicely arranged and warm with heaters. .Lots of atmosphere in this little street sheltered from traffic and noise.
E. S.
Forever my favourite place. The staff is always super polite and attentive, the atmosphere is amazing, food and drinks are incredible!!
L. A.
Didn't eat just had the cocktails but plan to go back for a meal, friendly service.
I. M.
Attractive outside seating. Interior quite idiosyncratic - in a Japanese street-cred(?) kind of way. And you've got to like noodles!
A.
Amazing food and lovely service. We always come here but this time we decided to have dinner as a part of a Birthday celebration. The staff were so lovely and attentive and the manager I believe, Vito, made the effort of putting a candle and giving us complimentary dessert for the celebration. Definitely would recommend if you like good food and high quality attentive service. Also definitely try the pasta!
N. P.
5 stars, only had drinks but I wouldnt expect anything less than 5 star cuisine.
R. S.
Perfect place for a pre-theatre meal, lovely food and staff ensured our meal was served in good time to get to the show on time 👍👍
R. C.
Had a lovely evening with my family, the food and the ambience was excellent. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, I would thoroughly recommend for a fabulous evening in London this place is ideal for dinner. There is a good selection of wine, wide variety to appease vegetarians and non vegetarians for starters and main course. I will definitely be back again soon.
M. P.
Excellent selection of meat free dishes with fantastic seasonings, sauces and garnishes (the falafel being particularly memorable). Interesting and well crafted cocktails and their own brand of beer make the drinks interesting and possibly a new experience. For meat eaters: the steak tartar was really good.
K. W.
Great food, superb service, just a good night out....
I. J.
Lovely food and staff but portions quite small!
O. &. T.
The vibe of the place seemed nice so we went in for dinner. I kinda felt like we were their "small customers" so they didn't really give us the best service. We waited for at least 15 minutes to orders, and although it was a bust night, none of the waiters really looked our way and we ended up having to call someone to come take our order. The waiter who took our order seemed a little distracted and 15 minutes later came to tell us it would take a while (our drinks hadn't arrived yet). A few minutes later the food came. We ordered a pizza that was delicious and a plate of ravioli that was really really small. We decided to order garlic bread and what we got was far from that. It didn't taste like garlic at all and basically looked like a pizza with no sauce. We asked to return it and since this whole time the waiters would just pass our table without asking if everything was okay (and everything took so long), we decided to just ask for the check. Of course the garlic bread still appeared, because the whole service was unorganized, but they did cancel it as soon as we pointed it out. We ended up having dessert somewhere else.

Good food. Service good. Reasonable prices. Location of sleeve shot for Bowie's Ziggy Stardust.

with my girlfriend yesterday we decided to go to eat at this restaurant, for security we booked a table for two people and the telephone operator was very available to all requests. Piccolino offers a wide range of traditional Italian dishes with a wide selection of fish, meats and pasta ... as appetizers we have chosen a selection of various meats accompanied with bread; as main dishes spaghetti with seafood and duck. obviously you could not miss the desert with an excellent chocolate cake. the presentation of the dishes is fabulous and very large portions. The service was fantastic, from booking made on the phone and on the table by Simone, but a special thanks to the waitress Maria who served our table explaining every detail of the composition. Prices may seem a little excessive but the service and quality are excellent. I recommend this restaurant for special events. Thanks for everything!
V. P.
Service was good. They were a bit difficult/adamant about ordering the starters and mains at the same time even though we hadn't decided. However, the food was absolutely incredible. Both starters and mains is to die for. Will be going back.
D. D.
Lovely food - a few slip ups on the orders, but otherwise a lovely place
M. M.
Nice food lovely place for a a dinner after a long day of shopping service is great
M. H.
Excellent food. We had to wait ~45 minutes for our table, which we had reserved in advance, but we changed the reservation size at the last minute so our fault not theirs.
The prawn appetizer is awesome. I had the gnocchi with mushrooms and chicken for my main. The sauce was rich and delicious, but the portion size was small and the chicken wasn't very flavorful towards the center.
Nice ambiance on a little side street.
G. S.
Picollino never disappoints, wherever we go. Great outdoor terrace for the warm days. Staff is always friendly and great food, with nice portions and flavours. Grazie mille, Picollino.
B. D.
Good food and service. Annoying that they couldn't find the deposit I paid and asked me if I'd refunded it. Made me feel like I was lying.
A. S.
Dishes and service were very varied in terms of quality. The starters (prawns and the carpaccio) were excellent but took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. The mains came swiftly afterwards and though the salad my wife had was getting good, my cod was slightly pungent with ammonia and needed seasoning. Asking for the bill also took a very long time.
N. D.
Friend of ours in London managed to get a table in this wonderful Italian Restaurant off Regent street. Bartender was not rude but seemed very new because unaware of English language. But the food part the starter breads with cheese and good suggestion of Red Merlot. Mains we had more of Veggies so Rissotto with mushrooms and I had Braised Lamb and pizzas etc. good experience would recommend.
O. A.
Piccolino is a cosy Italian restaurant tucked away on the side of Regent Street. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff are great. We had a full 3 course meal and the portions were decent, but not very generous. Also, the waiter just kept bringing the food,so we felt like we were being rushed out. Apart from that, it's great and definitely worth a visit.
M. M.
Fast service considering it was very busy. Happy to adapt pasta to suit as it is all made to order.
T. B.
I regularly visit this restaurant and I enjoy it everytime. They have never faulted on food quality and the variety is so large I feel surprised everytime, I can't get bored! They have a membership card which is interesting especially since they have other restaurants. The Staff are really nice and all that I have personally met are Italian which makes the experience and the reccomendations better. Their outside seating is so pretty with all the lights and buzzing of surrounding restaurants.
T. B.
Mediocre experience. I found it expensive for the portions of food it offers. Also the service could be better. They gave me the impression they don't care about their customers. In addition, the 12.5℅ compulsory service charge (marked as "optional" on the receipt), left me no choice to leave tips. As for the food quality, I was impressed by the Pollo Pizza and the Cesare Salad. I didn't really like the Gnocchi and the Tortino Cioccolato dessert.
K. W.
Nice venue and atmosphere just food bit bland and outside table sticky. Big plus for having my favorite wine
r. c.
Great food and service! I always sway towards pizza as the dough itself is just amazing. Love the seating area outside along with the warm welcome. I have also heard great things about their home made ice creams! Best Italian in Mayfair by far.
R. G.
Turned up without a booking, the hostess found us a table on the terrace very quickly, arrived at around 20:00 and it was very busy. There were two of us, and it was a bit difficult to attract the attention of a waiter to order drinks, it took about 5-8 minutes before someone came to take an order, so we ordered food at the same time. Once the order was taken the food and drinks arrived very promptly. Food (crab linguini & ravioli) was excellent, good sized portions and plenty of crab meet, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. A very nice blush wine, and a good gin and tonic, although the tonic was pre poured. Overall a great experience, with a very few minor niggles.
M. D.
Really good food but they dont answer their phone.
D. V.
Really lovely staff and delicious food.
1.
I had the linguine al gamberoni. Was the best pasta I have ever had!

25.11.21. pm. First tie to this Mayfair jewel....Great food, service & ambience, highly recommend this restaurant to you.x
M. U.
We didnt book and were able to get a table around 1830 in a weekday. Costs around 25 - 30 pounds per person if you have wine. Pizza was really good and so were the other food. Would possibly bit go there again but had fun.
R. C.
Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon when Regents Street was pedestrianized. Had a nine month old with us and all the waiters and waitresses kept her entertained all the time
Opted for the set three course meal £23 each
Service was just the right speed. Never rushed. Food excellent and value for money
Also all the staff appeared to be Italian
Will definitely be returning
M. N.
The food was really good, but there was a slight misunderstanding regarding the order, which was first not looked upon by the waiter. On the other hand, the manager Davide took it upon himself to make our lunch enjoyable. So even though the waiter was irresponsive the problem was solved and at the end we really enjoyed our lunch. I would recommend coming to this place for lunch or dinner.
M. M.
This was my first time at the restaurant. My dish was excellent (lobster pasta) but the service was terrible hence the 3 stars. The waiter wrote down my order wrong, so had to wait for the correct dish whilst my friend's dish was served so we each ended up eating separately. The manager did apologize but unsurprisingly the bill came as normal. In the meantime, we asked for more champagne which never came and later for water which was brought after we had to ask for it again. It took us 20' to pay the bill. Bear in mind the restaurant was half empty. Such as a shame as the kitchen had done a great job.
V. T.
The location was very posh right off regent street and the servers were are Italian however the food service was slow (1,5 hrs before main course served) and the dishes had a British twist on the otherwise typical Italian cuisine. The langoustines were not as fresh as I'd like and the branzino had far too many bones when served giving me a anxiety with each bite.
M. H.
Food was good, service was patchy. 1 drink dropped by waitress (then 10 mins for them to bring replacement) then a pizza was dropped as well by waiting staff. Restaurant was quiet but took ages for someone to take our order as well.
D. S.
One of my favourites. Nice selection of Charcuterie platters. Dishes in general are well presented and very delicious. Great selection of wines, especially if you're willing to spend a bit more.
D. S.
Amazing restaurant- fantastic food and outstanding service. Best Lasagne ever - totally recommended
P. D. (.
Good food and service. During our visit, they had opened the windows for air circulation. This was a bad idea because the smokers outside had their smoke filled the inside seating area. Management did not seem to care about it. A family did ask to sit in an area where there is less smoky.
N. W.
Exquisite and well presented Sicilian food. Friendly and professional staff. Great atmosphere
C. N.
Love this place.... its on our Christmas list. I've been treading this pavement since the early 80's when I had customers in the road. What a difference now... gone are the old looking buildings and dead facades, now replaced with great eateries and bars.... a fantastic transformation, even the Post Office has gone. The best place to visit here is Piccolino restaurant, great food, good service, fantastic staff and a warm welcome .... don't take my word for it, come and try it....!!!
P. P.
The service could have been better as we were rather ignored despite there being about 5 staff on the floor. The food came quickly and mains and salads were great, but our puddings were such a disappointment we ended up sending them back. The Panna cotta was solid and rubbery!
F. H.
I had dinner here. It is an amazing place to be in. The people will certainly take full care of you. The quality and taste of the food is fantastic. There aren't any bad points that I could think of. I recommend trying this place.
J. J. G.
Great restaurant..nominated for a London Lifestyle Award
G. A.
Went for my sisters birthday meal. Lovely place with good food. Though like most places in London the drinks are a bit dear. Definitely going again soon.
D. I.
I come often to this restaurant. The only food we tried out was the pizza and pasta and it was really good. Also, their wine is alright. Quire tood prices for Central London
S. B.
This is tucked away off the busy high street of Regent, and it's a little oasis of calm! The food here is fabulous and the staff are wonderful. Everyone that works here seems to be from Italy, which makes it even more authentic and lovely place to have lunch, dinner or aperitivo.
L. K. H.
Enjoyed a fantastic cheese and cold cut platter and champagne outside on the terrace. Very good experience worth a visit. Just off the crazy busy beaten track in London, but quiet and friendly! Lovely place!
P.
It's got a great location. I ordered pizza which was a disappointment. Too small and too thick crust. In 2018 in London there is no excuse for the pizzas to be lower quality than in Milan, this is not the 70s.
B. G. L.
Lovely food, but served far too quickly to sit and enjoy. As soon as we’d sat we had food within 5 minutes and as soon as we were finished the bill came. I just wanted to relax and take my time. Good if you’re in a rush

A lovely atmosphere and my favourite see food 😋🧚♀️
M. M.
Was very busy and a bit pricey (probably fair given the location). Food was very good and portions a decent size. Just a pity the evening enjoyment was diminished by the poor attitude of some of the staff.
A. C.
Perfect place for a chilled out evening. Outside dining and good value
J. G.
Great food. True Italian staff. Be aware that they might want to have you seated in the lower floor despite there is plenty of room in the upper level. Other than this everything is perfect.
S. M.
Fantastic food and awesome service - thank you to the team at Piccolino for a night to remember 👍🏻
S. H.
Wonderful staff fantastic food justa likea ma ma use ta makea. 👌🏻
C. B.
Monday afternoon = tourists and a bit of eager out-of-office riffraff. Server tapped my card and included the “optional” service without me ever agreeing to pay it. It happened quickly. Some of the guests were a bit rowdy at points but this shouldn’t deter.
J.
The service is exquisite! The waiters are attentive, yet give you enough space to enjoy an intimate meal with loved ones. The price is exceptionally reasonable considering the top quality of the food!
A. T.
Book in advance as Piccolino is very popular. Food, very nice indeed. Restaurant set up, a little tight for seating, but, still very nice.
Staff arguing at the counter, not so good.
K.
Great Italian food, attentive staff
Had a table downstairs away from the crowd which made our evening more enjoyable.
Slightly more on the expensive side but overall good experience.
M. B.
Not a lover of Italian food, but my wife thoroughly enjoyed it. Tasteful decor, friendly staff, but a bit loud on the happy birthday songs!!
A. H.
Good food. Good drinks. Perfectly priced for service provided.
R. S.
Great food. A little overpriced. Place was packed for lunch but service was good and food came out quickly. Pasta dishes were particularly good.
R. A.
The best Italian restaurant I've been to. Great food, especially starters, lovely service, nice cozy atmosphere. Huge portions and amazing mussels. Highly recommended!
J. F.
Great service and tasty food. Vitto (I’m hoping I’ve got that right!) took very good care of us. There’s a bar downstairs too which I’ll definitely be visiting on my next visit.
I. A.
Food and service were excellent, cask lager and Sicilian red wine - both amazing . Well worth the premium price and excellent location!
M.
Nice staff, good drinks and okay food (but wouldn't recommend the caesar salad at all)
E. J.
I loved the calamari. The food was very tasty and staff was welcoming. The place is hidden gem, highly recommend it.
L. D.
Lovely meal and handy location. Pizza and bruchetta both very nice and staff attentive. Good value for lunch and dinner
V. V.
The food was fine - it wasn't bad, it didn't go over and above. The service wasn't fluid but it was fine.
Overall it get three states; it just didn't overwhelm us it was middle of the road as Italians go
S. K.
Lovely late lunch
Good location
Friendly staff
Enjoyed
T. M. R.
The food and service was excellent. The only downside was they tried to charge service on drinks , even at the bar! Would have had 5 stars if not for this.
T. D.
Amazing seafood and pasta options, great wine list
n. “. h.
A wonderful lunch experience, great hospitality, service. Food and overall ambience. Well worth the cost.
C. R.
New experience. Very nice food and for a large restaurant not too noisy. Handy for Oxford Street, Regent Street and Soho. Sorry no photos
I. C.
Amazing food, amazing staff, love this place.
Barbera D’asti - estupendo 👌🏻
The food was fantastic as always but the friarielli blew my mind! Never tried it before but would highly recommend.
Thank you!
K.
I really enjoyed my visit here, the service was good, a decent menu choice and the food was quick and delicious. I would definitely visit again 😊
J. P.
Heated outdoor seating area pleasant in winter but otherwise average food for higher than average prices. There are better places for food and drink nearby but there isn't anything particularly bad here either.
M. R.
Great food and service!
A. W.
Amazing food, amazing service! Always get looked after so well by Imogen, Jalil, Davide and Maria amongst multiple others. What a fantastic team!
R. J.
Staff are friendly and the food/setting is stylish, but it's expensive and you're paying for aesthetics rather than deliciousness
L. A.
Being in a quiet inner street where car traffic is banned, during summertime it della like being in Italy which tables outside drinking a spritz. Food is good too, clams spaghetti recommended!
S. S.
Really nice staff! So lovely and accommodating. Such great and delicious food and reasonably priced! Enjoyed the experience!
G. S.
Not so impressive but good location. Seafood dish is fresh but plain. - maybe because I went there with my boss.
M.
I really liked this place. Service and welcome was exceptional. Quality and portion size did not match the price but definitely worth a visit.
B. P.
Good food, mediocre service. A long menu of very rich and well prepared food, only slightly let down by the service which came across as Conceited and lacked any genuine personality
J. Y.
Good service, food and drink. Straight forward. Been going there for years and never disappoints. Basement good for post food cocktails.
A. S.
Food ok but better at San Carlo/Prezzo
J.
Food was decent albeit expensive for what it was.
A. E.
Cool spot with mixed clientele. Outside dining on a fine evening.
Fine food - don't bother with lasagne - and good fast service.
I. F.
Highly recommend excellent food but typical London prices.
A. C.
Nice Italian restaurant right in the heart of the city. Nothing mind blowing but solid.
W. O.
Very nice food I must say... highly recommended guys...
M. B.
Amazing Italian food and the friendliest staff.
The terras is lovely when the weather is good.
Make sure to book a table up front.
M. L.
Good place to enjoy a meal, i liked the location of the place-it's city centre but cozy as it's just behind the main road, other restaurants nearby also help to create the vibrant yet cozy atmosphere.
G. W.
Food great service a bit slow
S. V.
AMAZING food! The seafood is top notch, I'd highly recommend the lobster linguini if on special! Service is faultless and waiters can't do enough to help you.
K. C.
The food is good but irritated by the waiting time. 3 Pizzas took like 45 mins. Not satisfied with the service.
S. J. B.
Over charged us and when we were eating they were trying to sell us discount cards, not what you want at dinner. Food was okay but small.
A. R.
The lasagna was not the best and the sirloin stake is quite small but tasty.
F. M.
Fabulous food wonderful service def be back🤩
G. P.
An amazing place, i love it and I recommend this place to everyone 👍🏼❤
S. K.
Lovely service, a little slow when it came to the bill and paying but also nice to not be rushed out of a place. Food was delicious
k. j.
Lovely place to eat, great service/atmosphere. Slightly average food, nothing revolutionary.
R. R.
A really nice restaurant in a great location, good for a date and as an Italian I can vouch for the food being fairly authentic at a reasonable price
S. N.
Great Italian food, but service can be slow so don't go if in a rush over lunch. It is worth it if you can stay a bit longer.
P. P.
This restaurant is absolutely brilliant! The food and service and great. Honestly can't wait to go back again.
L.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food though it's small in quantity, i guess a side dish is a must to feel full
A. S.
Food was very good. They made a mistake with my steak and put it right in a professional manner.
H. H.
Manuel, 5 star service
M. K.

c. “. m.
Very welcoming ambiance and good food. Thanks to the waitress for her humoir and proffessional attitude.
D. S.
I like this place. Tasty food and nice terrace. This is a good choice in the center of London
S. O.
Great restaurant, great atmosphere, amazing selection of dishes, could be better portioned bigger for the price you pay
P. J. S.
Not a huge fan of that place. There is a very large selection of dishes and food is not bad but the atmosphere has something that is just not right.
H. B. H.
Not great, not terrible. The food was okay, but nothing more. Staff was friendly enough, but not as service friendly as you'd like. Great location, but old and tired venue.
J. B.
Great venue staff all Italian very friendly good food, seating inside as well as outside heaters provided if needed, worth a visit in Hedon Street off Regent Street
F. P.
Very central location, great decor, and superb food and drink. Ok prices. Charming service. Great.
J. F.
Good food, great atmosphere, cracking location. Quite pricey, but just off Regents street, London is never going to be a bargain.
J. C.
Food was unremarkable.. Service was slow, particularly for a business lunch. Took ages for the mains, and the bill. Slightly disorganised.
S. S.
Fun Italian restaurant - great food - wonderful atmosphere - book a table to avoid getting disappointed.. Waiters push expensive wines so better watch out :-)
A. O.
Beautiful Italian meals with a fabulous vibe in the summer if you get a seat outside. Service was excellent.
R. M.
Lovely atmosphere, good food and drink and good service. Can be very good for an Italian aperitivo.
R. B.
Good italian food and drinks but expensive; nice and quiet location although right in the center of London; nice outdoor seating area and good service.
A. T.
The food is filled with love and passion. Just like the owner. Lovely lovely place.
C. D.
Superb Italian food, with friendly staff. We sat outside under the heaters and it was plenty warm enough on a chilly day.
P. B.
Good service. Tasty food. Lovely atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
K. R.
Good food.... sat outside in the evening with heaters on. Service was good.... prices seemed ok.... good atmosphere
M. B.
Delicious food but way too drafty on this cold day sitting by the window. They need to sort this ongoing problem out soon. 2nd time I've had this problem.
M. S.
Fantastic service! Amazing food! Great choice of wines! Definitely try It!!!
A. Y.
Excellent restaurant and reasonably priced. I'll definitely go there again.
J. W. (. G.
Great place for lunch in Heddon square.
W. S.
I would recommend to go during spring / summer, the place looks amazing (especially outside) and the food is good. Not the best italian around London though.
G. M.
Mostly premade frozen food, nice place but for the price you pay and for the area you'd expect freshly made food.
H. W.
Excellent friendly service, good choice of food and lots of it! Highly recommend the Calzone and the nicest fries in London.
R. R.
Nice Italian in busy Hedfon Street. Would recommend.
M. K.
Celebrating a milestone birthday and the food and service was fabulous. Thank you
D. E.
Food good, atmosphere quite good but music a little loud.
F. R.
Overpriced ok(ish) Italian food. Service a little too "over excited".
F. G. S.

M. S.
Friendly staff good food when working and having lunch meetings. Much recommend.
J. S.
Only worth coming here for the fantastic £5 happy hour drinks. Service is incredibly slow and inattentive.
C.
Good food, just hope you won't get served by some women waitresses! Rude!!!
I. W.
Nice venue couldn't cope with Xmas crowds so very slow service food quality less than expected.
D. R.
Real Italian staff serving very good and Italian food in a vibrant and busy environment.
c. p.
The food was great but the restaurant was pretty understaffed when we attended and didn't receive the service I'm sure they are capable of giving.
W. H.
