We've visited here a few times, and most recently ordered a couple of pizza's for collection. Pizzas were ready on time, and restaurant was rejigged well for COVID, so pretty much perfect handover. Food was delicious as usual - will be definitely doing this again - would recommend :)

Yummy pizza, great dough. Love the fact that the kitchen is out in the open and you can see the staff making the pizza from scratch. Nothing is hidden behind the scenes and everything is right there where you can watch it being made. Nice friendly waitresses and great vibe. Quite small though so definitely try to book in advance if you are going on a busy night.

So yummy. I just tried a vegan pizza and it was mmmmhhhmm :). The place was crazy busy and still the service was speedy and friendly. Really loved it. Side note for those who want a little more quiet, perhaps not for you at the busy times as its a lively (and lovely place) family, couplely type place. Update 13/08/2021 I have to say this evenings experience at Pizza Brixton was pretty poor. The service was bad, probably because of the constant rush to get the deliveries out. The guy that served us was slow to move and had his trousers so low on his butt he spent lots of time pulling his pants up and didn't go to clean his hands. Is this new management? I'm not sure but the charm this place had has vanished this evening. Food still good, service poor.

Our favourites are Margherita and Puccia if you like mozzarella with pesto. it gets quite busy on weekends but their staff was always super helpful to find a table! We have to move out of the area and definitely will miss this spot!

NEW REVIEW (see attached image for old review) My first visit to Pizza Brixton (the Brixton branch) was unfortunately rather a disappointment. The service was poor, the food seemed average, and the environment was hectic. I've attached a screenshot below for reference. However, Pizza Brixton responded to my review very positively - and their customer service from this point on was outstanding. They really took time to engage with me, and deeply understand all of the problems I had. They assured me that they had identified the source of my issues, and dealt with them all, and invited my girlfriend and I to their St. John's Hill branch to try again - I'm pleased to say that I am very glad we took them up on this offer. The whole approach to customer service was very sincere and caring - it was extremely clear that the level of detail I went into in my previous review meant a lot to them, and they were extremely keen to ensure everything was taken care of, and we were converted to happy customers - which we were. I should mention, when I say "they", it was actually the owner of Pizza Brixton who liaised with me, and he even cared for us personally on our return visit: and what a genuinely honest and friendly chap he is! Our second experience was much better. The quality of service was very warm and welcoming from all the staff, as was their attentiveness and speed of service. The overall environment was much better too: despite also being a Friday evening the restaurant felt less busy... even though it was actually full. Probably helped by enough staff, and less telephone orders (I saw a few takeaways go out, but we didn't have the phone ringing constantly in the background like during our first visit). The clientele was nice too - a generally good, happy, bustling atmosphere. The food was, I think, better too - very delicious in fact. We had the starter with mozzarella, tomato, rocket, and pesto (the saving grace of our previous experience) - which again was very tasty. We also had garlic bread which was delicious... but could probably have been half the size. To be fair, the manager did warn us not to fill up on it too much in advance of our pizzas. Both our pizzas were delicious: I had the special which used pumpkin instead of tomato, and (amongst other things) had dollops of quince jam, and chunks of fennel - what an unusual but interesting and importantly delicious combination! I'm glad I opted for this recommended option. My girlfriend had a pizza with a tomato base, and this tasted very good compared to my previous experience where I recall the tomato was quite acidic and overpowering. We also had the homemade Tiramisu afterwards - which was also delicious - and an impressive portion size. All in all, very happy with the quality and taste of the food. My only minor criticism might be that the pizza crusts were slightly on the chewy side... I personally prefer them lighter and crisper. But the pizza bases themselves were nice. We also had some very nice wine, and were offered limoncello and/or an espresso afterwards. One very important thing I should note is that I don't think the very personalised and caring service we experienced on this second occasion was specific to us just because we had been invited there following a prior complaint. On the contrary, EVERY customer was receiving the same level of service: we were enjoying looking around and noticing not only the manager, but the other waiting staff too, regularly doing the rounds attentively checking on all the customers in the friendliest of terms, and even striking conversation and laughter with the customers - there was a happy and jolly vibe around us because of this. Also, everyone else was receiving the same speedy service as us. We are very glad we gave them a second chance and had a lovely evening. Thank you!

We visited Pizza Brixton after recommendations from friends and have found a gem of delicious Neapolitan pizza not far from our doorstep. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and all of the staff were amazing. We shared a couple of the starters (the ricotta cheese, walnut and honey with crispy toasted bread was very tasty), before stuffing ourselves with a couple of very generous pizzas. everyone in the party loved the chewy crust and variety of toppings. We heard others raving about the nutella calzone which looked (and smelt) amazing as they whizzed past us from the kitchen. Unfortunately we were to full but will definitely be back to sample these. We stuck to the red wine to drink but there's also a variety of beers and a couple of cocktails as well. Prices were all very reasonable. We would highly recommend to anyone in the Brixton Hill area. I think in time this will amass a huge following!

Amazing local restaurant serving consistently the best pizza in Brixton. Solid menu with a few changing specials and Sardinian specialities on the board. Superb homemade arranciata on the drinks menu and the pizza dips are also wonderful. Great location away from Brixton Village and the station, never too busy, and the service is always friendly and attentive. We have been coming here for a few years, sometimes twice a week, and the staff always look after us. Highly recommended, why wait at for Franco Manca for half an hour when you could stroll up here in half the time?

I've lived in the area for a couple years now and felt like a decent genuine and affordable (and kid friendly!) pizza place was missing, so it was to my delight that Pizza Brixton opened!. Great staff, fast service and the food is oh so tasty, had the honey ricotta with Walnuts to start (which was delish) followed by the mouth watering Diavola Pizza. Crust was lovely, cooked to perfection in their woodfire brick oven. True Artisan pizza at its best.

The simple and straightforward menu enables the chefs to prepare food quickly and well - proper Italian style. Perfect for dates - you can order quickly and get chatting, ask for the window seats on hot days. Start with an aperol spritz and switch to a glass of red with a pizza from the stone bake oven. The smart wine menu is small but we'll chosen to compliment the food. Wrap up with limon cello and tiramisu to share. Staff are great and prices might not be as good as they were before but are still reasonable. Still using plastic straws.

One of the best (if not the best) neapolitan style pizza in and around Brixton. Traditional wooden fire oven, their pizza is light and tasty (ham and mushroom is one of my favourite) combine it with a regional moretti beer (500ml good for sharing as well) and top it off with the best espresso (Quarta caffè) you can have in London. The best special I've tried is their Ricotta with rocket honey and walnuts, served as a starter it can also be an excellent dessert/end of meal dish. 5 stars all around, if you fancy a pizza in Brixton this is the place to go.

Pizza Brixton has one of the best pizza's in London, if your looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza's this is the place to come, excellent customer service the staff are very friendly attentive always there when needed. Would highly recommend coming here.

One of my favourite places to get pizza in London. I've been coming here since it opened and it's never disappointed! Proper Italian pizza, great customer service. Definitely get the homemade tiramisu or Nutella calzone for dessert.

It is a thin crust pizza with puffed and crispy edges, somewhat burnt, as it should be. And don't forget to dip the edges in olive oil that will be used for this purpose (I learned this here).
