Reviews of Pizza Pilgrims
A. C.
Excellent customer service, very friendly and welcoming staff. The guys who served me were Alessandro and Luigi, very cute and well mannered people! This is one of the best pizza places in Soho, five star taste but still very affordable prices. Highly recommend!
G. S.
Authentic Italian pizzeria serving a variety of Italian delicacies. We were welcomed with open arms and the food arrived quickly despite being a busy Saturday night. Luigi, Alessandro and the girls have been amazing all night long. Will definitely come back.
C. C.
Amazing pizza, proper Italian. Alessandro and Luigi gave us an amazing service! Absolutely recommend
I. B.
Best pizza in town. Thanks to the chefs! Johnny and Carmelo were amazing. Thank you to Jamal for his kindness. Also they have on the menu the best beer in the world, Beaverton neck oil 😍
f. s. r.
Really delicious pizza, some of the best I've had outside of Italy, no doubt. Really nice rough and ready yet kind of chic decor and ambiance. Good prices and a nice little selection of drinks. The service isn't amazing, honestly we felt like the servers couldn't wait for us to leave even as we'd barely walked through the door haha - maybe they were just having a bad day. But the food did come speedily and I would come back for the pizza, 100%!
J. B.
Tasty pizza, nice service and great atmosphere. I totally recommend it!
J. H.
yep, these guys know napoli-style pizza! It is legit and very tasty, we had one to go tonight and the sauce was very tangy & fresh, the bufala was everything it should be and the crust was blistered just right, chewy and very good as well. We visit napoli & capri every year and eat a lotta pizza so...pizza pilgrims is the real deal!
H. S.
Truly delicious pizzas, the kindest friendliest staff, great drinks, and speedy service. My friend and I were made to feel very welcome and had an amazing evening. Would come here everyday if I could!
Just a note: unfortunately the building is not particularly mobility access friendly as there is a step to enter and the majority of the seating is downstairs (there are some stool seats upstairs) - I did not see if there was a lift or alternative ramped entrance
A. B.
Great pizza! Great quality! I will definitely order again soon 😁
A. M.
Alessandro the manager and the rest of the crew always amaze me everytime I come to this restaurant.
Timely service, consistent delicious pizza delivered with a smile.
The atmosphere is bubbly, comfortable and casual enough for lunch, dinner or a quick "to go".
The crew is always ready to help, even for orders slightly off menu 🤓
An italian excellence in the heart of London, setting an example for the rest of the other locations in London.
Wish all the best in the future for business!
L. P.
Wonderful place to spend time with friends with an amazing pizza. So happy they have vegan option! Many thanks to Alessandro for his smile and great service. We'll surely come back!
A. M.
I am going to give this a 4. This is the best neapolitan pizzas i have ever tried in London. The crunch was just perfect in most of my bites. Again most of them like 90%. Should be careful having burnt some of the dough since you want to get the crunch. PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE THE FORK IDK IS IT ME OR EVERY PIZZA PLACE HAVE A GARBAGE FORK. AGAIN PLEASE CHANGE THE FORK TO A GRIP FORK FOR EASY CUTTING. Nevertheless, it was a great pizzas i ate here. Got the aubergine and the mushroom truffle pizzas. The aubergine is less preferred since the aubergine became quite mushy but the mushroom was amazing. Come here since it is recommended. Cheers! I hope this helps!
a. g. z.
Five stars service! Pizzas made by Simone taste amazing, I could literally taste Italy’s spirit in his cuisine. Love it! Highly recommend going there with friends for moment of sharing and
M. Z.
Very nice pizza, felt like I was in Italy and the dessert was insane with Pizza Nutella 🤩
Customer service was on top ! We were served by Luigi who was very friendly, lovely smile, made us feel at home and welcomed. We will definitely come back !
W. S.
Great pizza, would say it was tastier than FM if you know what I mean... Service was a little slow but chefs knew their stuff. Avoid the vegan toppings..
K. K.
It was soooo nice. Best customer service and great pizza :) Carmel and Alessandro was so nice😍
L.
Seriously the best pizza in Soho. The crust is to die for and they never fail to disappoint with the different kinds of pizza. My favourite is the aubergine with extra garlic. Absolutely delicious.
m. o.
The gluten free pizza is amazing! When the pizza came I asked was it definitely Gluten Free as it tasted so fabulous! Best ever! Lovely staff and waiters especially Kye!
o.
Very nice place, warm and friendly.
It’s a must-go every time we start talking about pizza.
Nice staff, nice place, perfect location, good quality and affordable prices. What else do you want? ;)
D.
Service here was exceptional. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Everything was made fresh and hot! Pizza was delicious, although the margarita could do with a lot more cheese rather than dabbles here and there (we loove cheese). The 8 cheese pizza was great! Incredibly cheesy & not for the light hearted 😉. I believe the blue cheese was the most overpowering of them all. But still delicious. Only managed to eat half but will definately be finishing the rest off at home. Shootout to Kaz for his impeccable service and thank you for the Nutella Pizza Ring - a sweet and tasty end to a delicious meal! Can't wait to visit again.
S. W.
Love pizza pilgrims! Ordered a Margherita pizza yesterday for lunch and it was so delicious - made very quickly and tasted fresh and full of flavour. The pizza was generously covered with cheese and sauce and it was perfectly accompanied with this creamy pesto dip.
Staff were friendly and quick, love how this restaurant has a secret basement. Wish you had a lunch menu as 11.25 is a lot for pizza and dip but it was amazing pizza
V.
Great Place to be in London!
The pizza was amazing just like real italian pizzas!
We've been served by Alessandro wich it was very kind and cozy, i suggest this place to everyone who's like to have a Real Italian Pizza 🍕
L. P.
Pizza pilgrims never stops surprising me! Just tried the 8 cheese (whose name is a bit scary, with that amount of dairy) with the chilli jam on top and pesto aioli dip, I can't explain how good that was!
I know, it is not a classic Italian, but it's worth trying something different from time to time!
Service was good overall, staff kind and polite enough, short waiting time, even on a busy Sunday in Soho.
Recommended.
M. I.
Amazing experience. The pizza was amazing but what really made our experience fantastic, were the waiter Alessandro and Luigi. Thank you again. See you soon for sure.
J. H.
Amazing pizza, freshly made. The cheese used is of a great quality and taste. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Looking forward to trying the dare devil pizza on my next visit.
A. A.
Comfort food 🍕 at its best! Some Fridays are meant to cheat and this was one of them. The spicy 🌶 sausage pizza and truffle pizza is absolutely delicious. The oozing cheese simply starts melting into your mouth with the spices touching every part of your palette. Decently priced and easy to get a place at any time of the day.
Its not the best pizza but reminds me of the NewYork midnight street pizza and brings back a lot of memories.
L. B.
Amazing food and amazing atmosphere! Luigi is a credit to your team, he was so attentive and polite and gave great recommendations. I will be back soon.
E. &. N.
Wow! What a place! The service was fantastic and the best pizza outside Napoli. Thank you to Jamal tonight for his fantastic service and making us laugh about our (accidental) fake discount.
P. G.
Great food and drinks last night. Thanks to all the chefs and our waitress Yasmin. She made us feel very welcome and provided amazing service.
T. T.
We had such a great time! Superb pizzas and amazing service with Carmelo: he was so caring and kind! We will definitely come back 🤗
A. G.
Absolutely delicious pizza (I had the double pepperoni with spicy honey and my friend had the truffle) at really reasonable prices, especially for the area that it's in. Also, cannot speak highly enough of the table staff, they were so attentive and with us whenever we needed anything, but not at all pushy and the manager Jamahl was also incredibly friendly and personable, can not recommend highly enough.
p. c.
Great service from Jhonny and Carmelo, really great vibe and amazing pizzas. The quality is definitely above average. The location is just great. It’s a pitty that I will leave the city soon because this place is just marvelous, I would come back every single weekend. I hope more people discover this place. Fantastic
R. B.
I was really craving pizza on our last day in London and this looked like a great option! Hip, different with good reviews. Unfortunately it ended up being a very “meh” experience all around. On the positive side, the decor of the restaurant is great and really ads to the vibe. The service wasn’t great, they seemed annoyed we were there, didn’t check on us, etc. The pizza itself also wasn’t great. It had flavor but the dough was super soggy on the bottom and too doughy on the outside. They also didn’t deliver one of the items we ordered and we couldn’t find our waiter to tell him so we just forgot about it until it appeared on the bill. We might have just been there on an off evening, but I don’t think I would try it again.
a. h. m. s.
Amazing pizza and the vegan menu its amazing thanks to alessandro to suggest the vengan ndujya!!!
Q. J.
That 8 cheeses pizza… jeeeeeezzzzz
S. M.
Amazing service and even amazinger pizzas! I had the albergine with Parmesan one and I loved every bite. Big and variated menu and dessert menu. Simone is a great pizzaiolo! Thanks for everything.
A. V.
The best pizza in Town…. Is not just about the proper pizza is even for the good vibes and welcoming staff congratulations to the chefs Gianluca and William and also Carmelo was really entertaining friendly and professional!!
A. B.
I generally try to avoid chain restaurants because I like to throw my money around a bit. Thought I'd try here even though it's a chain because it's so nice to sit out in the sun (and I work around the corner so I exhaust options quickly). I was so impressed by the quality of the pizza and flavours - but also the quality of the cocktails! I now come here for the drinks as much as the pizzas. I dropped a star because the service outside isn't great - it takes forever to get someone's attention and the waiting staff don't come outside to see if you might need anything.
P. L.
Recommended from sorted food video, traveled for a week away in London from Liverpool, to especially try this restaurant, and after trying at home after buying their book, absolutely incredible food, definitely worth the trip, will come again next time we're in London
R.
a pizza was amazing! definetely should try
also customer service was brilliant.
Alessandro was in charge of our table and was extremely friendly!
J. T.
Beautiful authentic Italians Pizza with amazing beer. Staff are wonderful. We were served by Alessandro who was excellent! Can’t wait to go back
S. o. T.
Fantastic pizza here, I was abit worried when I ordered a honey and peperoni pizza but it was amazing. would definitely recommended cocktails here are great too
A. A.
One of the best pizza places I’ve ever tried.
e. j.
best vegan pizza i’ve had! the cheese is more of a cream but has that sort of tangy cheese flavour i havent found anywhere else!
M. I. M.
Outstanding Neapolitan pizza the restaurant is small but the atmosphere is amazing, thanks Alessandro to suggest me the vegan nduja the vegan cheeese was soool good. Definitely I ll come back
R. M.
Great flavours and easy pick up service. Pizza of choice: Funghi & Truffle 👌 Forza Italia! Enjoyed 10/07/21
P. G.
Amazing pizza! The chefs know what theor doing! Thin chewy pizza. Simpe amd quality toppings.
The staff are so accomodating too!
A. A.
The pizza pilgrims' guest pizza (Pizza Special) 🍕. Laham bahagine which literally translates to meat with dough. This beautiful pizza has captured the essence of middle eastern favours from the well seasoned minced beef with chilli to the zaatar sprinkled on top. These all sit on a sourdough base cooked to perfection. 👌
We also tried another aubergine inspired pizza which lacked the flavours that this pizza had to offer. Regardless I will be returning and look forward to trying more guest pizzas -7.5/10-

Pizza Pilgrims continues to expand across London and their consistency is a great example for many other Pizza Joints should take note from

Yesterday my husband and I were curious and decided to pop in. We were immediately greeted with a smiley young waitress Naya, who sat us immediately and really made us feel comfortable and at home.
We were struggling with the menu and were given great recommendations and settled on the double pepperoni, which she said was her personal favourite.
So impressed and thought it was absolutely fab. Great pricing and excellent service as I said before
Pizza Pilgrims knows their pizza and employs the nicest of people. Cant wait to come back
B. R.
Wonderful family meal with excellent service and gorgeous Pizza. Would definatley go back when next in SOHO. Our waitress was top class! Thank you Lucy.

Amazing place and amazing pizzas, way more better then we expect, the dough was unbeliveble, thanks Alessandro for the suggestion of the garlic fiorentina, defintley will be back
F. L.
If you looking for an amazing and delicious pizza this is the right place where to go. Excellent cervice provided from Alessandro and Luigi.
A. U.
As I said to staff: their pizza was definitely worth a trip from Bristol! No joke I did that trip just for pizza (and ok, a musical in the theatre).
Perfect cozy location in the midst of glamour, discovery and colours I this gorgeous restaurant!
Their food speaks for itself and if you never tried pizza - just go! And.. leave special for dessert - their Nutella Pizza.. Oh-la-la!
G. O.
Had superb neopolitan pizzas last night at Pilgrim ... best pizza I have experienced outside of Southern Italy ... son's gf said her vegan pizza was great too. Excellent and attentive service from Jessica as well. Will be back for more at some stage
Y. M.
I came to try your vegan pizza and it was beyond expectations, it was crispy and perfect and Alessandro, the guy who served us was so friendly and funny and gave a a great service! Definitely recommended ✨
D. G.
When they started selling pizzas in Soho (from the back of a van and then from this place) Pizza Pilgrims quickly became THE pizza to have in this neighbourhood. I tried them again last week (October 2021) and they are still the best. I ordered a few for a party nearby (margheritas and marinaras) and they were not only quickly devoured, but a minor scuffle broke out as they disappeared! The dough is as good as you'll get anywhere (yes, including Italy) and it's hard to pick one of their pizzas that isn't delicious. Their small Dean Street corner premises are always busy, with tables outside, friendly staff and a good-humoured manager (Jamahl) - all of which makes for a desirable dining event - even if you're having a takeaway! I live two minutes from here and cannot consider anywhere else for pizza. Hunger has never been so happily served.......
E. S.
Yesterday i went to eat this amazing pizza at Pilgrims. Alessandro, a nice Italian guy, served me and i will return soon! Nice staff, amazing pizza.
A. B.
Super lovely, welcoming place with great pizza and an awesome vibe. Special thank you to Alessandro and Luigi for being so friendly when I came by for a takeaway the other day after work!
V.
Good restourant in soho, they have a basament sitting area who looks wanderfull, we been serve by alesandro and a polite waitreress, pizzas are tastefull and light, deserve 6 stars.
D. H.
The best pizza place in Soho by far, I would go back 100%. Great taste, made at the moment and it is obvious by the looks and flavour that they use fresh ingredients. We even got to meet the manager, Alessandro, he was super friendly and gave us excellent recommendations.
r. a.
Excellent great food, attentive staff and to top a desert with Nutella and Ice cream. The pepporoni pizza with spicy honey, very good. service amazing good. There is also a branch in London Bridge just outside the railway station on Toooley street and a minutes walk from Richer Sounds
F. C.
We had a lovely night! The burrata and pesto pizza was delicious. Our waitress Amy was really kind and friendly, and very knowledgable about the menu.
H. G.
Tasty Neapolitan style pizza! The staff are quick and the prices are good. Try the Nutella ring for dessert, you won’t be disappointed. Very nice for lunch or early dinner.
A. M. M.
Loved it! Food was amazing and Alessandro assisted us just great. I will come back soon!
M. S.
Amazing pizza one of the best i have had in london, Alessandro is great i really enjoy the conversation and his vibe, will come back again for sure.
B. W.
Fantastic, tiny place. They do have a lot of seating downstairs, but it's all super squished together. There's barely any space to move between the tables and the toilet stalls are absolutely miniscule, it's almost impossible to close the doors without standing on the seat to be out of the way of the door.
However, the food makes it all worth it. Great pizza with a delicious crust. The middle is maybe a touch too thin, but if you're looking for authentic Italian pizza, this is it!
Staff is super friendly as well. Little tip, if the weather is nice, just take your pizza to go and eat it in Soho Square just round the corner!
F.
Great! It’s cozy and not that huge space.
The store might be small for you but there’s underground floor there. So don’t worry.
Also not that expensive price with good quality.
I ordered the mashroom pizza with side as Mozzarella.
C. S.
The best pizza I had was in Naples. We visited pizza pilgrims yesterday and their pizzas were really close to this. Nice place and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed it all. Thanks 🙂
Y. O.
Very good take-out pizza place. I had those two (don't remember the name) and will definitely order them again next time!
Recommend to bring them to the near park. You can sit down on the grass and enjoy the pizza 8 times more like Buffalo XD.
M. S.
Pilgrims is that rare combination of great pizza and an even more outstanding service that you’re searching for.
T. M.
A few days ago I went with friends to eat, good quality pizza, service was amazing, the pizza maker (andres) brought the pizza to the table. I will Definitely be back.
B.
Excellent pizzas!
Good and fast service, flavourful pizza for a good price. I've been going there for a few years and I've always enjoyed it.
Highly recommended!
V. N.
The pizza was great and recommendation from myself personally- mac & cheese balls starter!
T. P.
The best place in Sho to eat an amazing pizza !! A spend my Saturday night with my friend and some good wine suggest by Carmello !!! Best service in soho really enjoy I would like to give 10 stars ⭐️ not only 5 !!
R. K.
We were treated to a warm welcome in the restaurant and enjoyed a delicious and authentic pizza, fantastic table service by Zivile, and great music! Highly recommended

My wife and I visited yesterday, and we really enjoyed it. The gluten free pizza was phenomenal, and we'll be back the next time we're in London.
L. S.
It was amazing!!! Love love love the 8 cheese pizza - best of my life
D. M.
Eat here frequently with my team after work and I cannot fault the staff, especially Alex who is always so welcoming and kind. Best pizza in London!!
O.
Very good Napolitan style pizza.
Can't complain with the 50% off corona discount either.
I have been over charged here in the past , check your receipts !
F. K.
Very authentic pizza. The dough is very tasty! Loved the decor (very Italian!) and the music was lovely (not too loud). I visited on a Saturday afternoon (and it was relatively busy but not packed). Waiter was very polite & kind. Recommended!
L. E. C.
Really good. Great service. Thanks to Jonny, Carmelo and Jamal
R. P.
Delicious pizzas and friendly staff, especially Fiona who looked after a friend and I. Will be returning soon
M. P.
Food amazing as usual and the staff made it even more special. Special thanks to Giuseppe who was a great host!
a. s.
I have gone to this place about 3 times in the last two days since I found it. Great pizza. Dough is not chewy. Nice flavours. Try the burrata one!!
A. A.
Quick and simple , in and out service. £7.50 for a tasty classic . Well cooked and fresh ! Eat in or take out available. Not halal unfortunately however does have good vegetarian options . Does take service charge so beware . Pay for Parking right opposite the restaurant. Open kitchen so you can see everything being made ( fun 😃) . Was a nice pizza i had thank you and keep it up !!
P. G.
Going to pizza pilgrims you can be always sure one thing, your pizza will be perfect , you will enjoying every bite. Restaurant it self is small but cosy , bring in mind Italian stylish. Service is very nice. If you looking for very good pizza in good price I totally recommend you Pizza Pilgrims, you not gonna regret.
R. H.
Great pizza! Must come and worth a try. Best seating is upstairs with a view but noisy, compact and not many of them. Downstairs has more but is a basement with no atmosphere or light.
F. C.
QUITE LITERALLY THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. The vibes, 10/10. The Pizza, 10/10. The Truffle Dip, 10/10. The absolute legends that work there, 10/10. Best branch of Pizza Pilgrims.
Y. L.
Amazing pizza! Ate there 2 times in a row.
Very similar pizza to those from Napoli, all employees there speaks Italian, you feel like you made a quick visit to Italy.
O. M.
Delicious, real pizza for a very reasonable price. Must try, even if you do not like pizza. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. It feels like a family business.
J. R.
Amazing authentic Italian pizza , served by Luigi and Alessandro , excellent service, fast, friendly and polite.
A. L.
delicious pizzas!!!!! we Google it and find this place!!!! good atmosphere and good food
price is good too. strong wifi!!
M. E.
Don’t usually leave reviews but felt this was a must! Great food but even better service from the manager Alessandro highly recommend this branch as they put customers first and he lead by example 5*
J. D.
One of the best pizza franchises in London. The dough is on point and is close to a genuine "grandma" dough
N. H.
Loved the pizzas, but staff super accommodating even though they were down some people. Thanks for looking after me and my crew!
M. A.
The margherita was very nice indeed, on par with the best neapolitan pizzerias in london. Just the right amount of tomato and mozzarella. The dough was soft yet slightly crisp and had very nice flavour to it and not burnt. However it is significantly smaller than the standard neapolitan pizza at the regular price so only 4*. Either make the pizza bigger or drop the price by a £.
S. L.
One of the best pizza franchises in London. The dough is on point and is close to a genuine "grandma" dough

Just had an incredible experience and service from Paul at the London Selfridges restaurant. Excellent service Paul. 👍🏽 Great vegan options too
B. W.
Delish pizza & Aoife was an excellent host & very knowledgeable on movie location trivia local to Camden and Dublin. Balls to Monty!
L. L.
Great pizza. Had the aubergine one and it was awesome. Chewy dough, just enough sauce and cheese. Calzone was really good too. Not too much filling unlike some other places. Would definitely go again.
K. D. M.
Truly delicious pizza!
I would definitely go here again. The staff was very nice and the service was amazingly good and quick!
E. K.
One of my fav pizza chains in London! It’s delicious and tastes authentic. the Nutella dessert is just my fav :)
L. R.
Still pretty new to London, came across this joint in Soho cause it looked like it had the drop for pizza. Pizza was 🔥🔥🔥 and the staff were amazing! They even helped me the boys get to the best train station to get home on, shout out to Fina, thank you 🙏 this place is great.
S. M.
Pizza was phenomenal! the staff are super sweet and hospitable. will be back soon x
Q. L.
Great pizza. Thin crust and great toppings. They are just slow at customer service.
J. M.
My favourite place for pizza in London. Simple, authentic and use only very good ingredients.
c. K.
The most delicious pizza I’ve ever tasted in London!! With great services!! Very recommend!!
V. K.
Absolutely wonderful pizza! Probably one of the best I have ever ate. Also great and friendly staff. Comfy inferior, possibility to sit outside. It worth to spend some time there while wandering around the Soho.
S. N.
Since this place opened it has attracted a loyal following of pizza cognoscenti. The buffalo mozzarella margherita is my favourite (but on a recent visit, "The Popeye" was tried and it was superb) with Birra Moretti on draught. Staff are always efficient and know about the food on offer. They also invented a Lemoncello and Amaretto mix (sour) that is pretty wonderful. Good for a late lunch and they have seating downstairs so don't just stare in and walk off. I always try to get here if in the West End and will be there after going to some "Open House" buildings nearby.... top pizza from top people
R. E.
Good pizza for a quick bite in Soho.
Pizza is rather small (12') and is okay for one person.
Had the Margarita, nothing special, this pizza is for people who like the dough heavier not thin.
Salad is ridiculous.
Place is quite small with Italian atmosphere, nicely decorated.
C. C.
Best pizza i have had in years and the white truffle dipping sauce is to die for.
D. B.
Best gluten free base ever! Homemade: fluffy on the inside yet crispy on the outside. Some kind of secret recipe. :) Calabrian sausage and Nduja are divine. Fresh ingredients, great staff. A+ pizza in Soho
S. O.
One of the best pizza places in London (maybe even the best!)
Make sure to stay for your pizza. The staff is friendly and prices are okay. It’s an LGBT friendly place.
What really shines is the quality of the pizza. Eating pizza at pizza pilgrims is an experience not to be missed when you are in Soho.
J. N. D.
The pizza was good, not the best I have at their branches, but was kept down by the lack of service and care, which i did mention to them and was advised it was due to a new and young service team.
T. C.
Some of the best pizzas we've eaten (including in Italy): I had the Puttanesca (what a great idea) and my wife the 8-cheese. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a reasonably priced, short, wine selection. Interesting that it's adjacent to one of the very early PizzaExpress branches. Pilgrims feels like the new wave!
S. T.
Staff could have been easier to deal with. But it was late on a boozy Thursday night so i'll let it slide. Pizza be banging.
N. Z.
Nice friendly place. Perfect pizza whats not to like
J. C.
If you are looking for the best pizza in London, look no further and head to Pizza Pilgrims on Dean St. Incredible food, beer and staff. Didn't have to wait long for a table of 6 and was served by the friendliest waiters. The manager Gus, was great at checking everything was cooked perfectly and we were having a great time.
We all struggled to stand after starters, mains, desserts and beer!!
Will 100% be returning next time I'm in Soho! Thanks Guys!
J. H.
* I went to pizza pilgrims in April 2021 so we could not sit inside due to Coronavirus restrictions*
I found this place by Searching online
"Best pizza places in London" and oh boy was it great.
I went here with a friend and even though there was only outdoor seating available there was plenty of space and a comfortable bench and table we could sit at.
The waiters were extremely friendly and the food came very fast, hot and absolutely delicious.
Regardless of what pizza you have, the crust and pizza base are top tier.
It is also very good value for money with my friends pizza being £8.95 and mine £10.95.
Overall I would very highly recommend Pizza Pilgrims for it's fast and friendly service, it's good prices and brilliant pizzas which Frankly greatly outshine the majority of chain and independent pizza places.
Will definitely come again, hungry for more.
E.
Great location, friendly place with good menu. Enjoyed being looked after by Fina and the team. The Nutella pizza ring pudding went down particularly well!
A. S.
Love this little place! Pizzas are delicious and the vibe is just so nice!!

Lovely pizzas definitely recommend the double pepperoni & spicy honey. Hot chilli olives(lovely side), tried the espresso Martini (not my thing)
***The best thing about this place was the staff they are very friendly gave me extra chocolate really made the whole experience.
S. A.
Pizza & love was a disaster..Super soggy and highly salty..Appreciate the owner to not charge us for it and promised for a better experience next time. Respect 👍
F. R.
Ordered the spicy sausage. Delicious pizza and actually spicy! Service was a little slow. I’d still recommend this place to a friend
D. F. (.
Not bad, better than the pizza express over the road
P. C.
Absolutely the best pizzas in London. End of!
T. S.
On the first Saturday out after lockdown, we were surprisingly seated outside pretty quickly! Luca, who served us was delightful and recommended us the best pizza combinations! I love how he knew the menu inside out and knew exactly what worked well together! Great evening followed by even better pizza!!
H. S.
Nice restaurant and great atmosphere !! The very friendly guy Alessandro suggested me the vegan veduya!! It was really good !! thank you!!
G. P.
It's a good place for pizza. They could improve a bit the menù but the staff is friendly so I'm giving 5 stars in the hope that they might get a pay rise.
A.
Amazing pizza! And the nicest waiters.
Would absolutely recommend the Double Peperoni!
J. K.
Good pizza but the toilets were filthy and the stairs looked like they hadn't been swept in a week.
A. M.
Pizza was great. The manager was a bit unhelpful, ignoring us and pretending to not hear us talking to her. Food good. Manager sucks.
L. P.
Very tasty pizza and good service! Well done Alessandro!
M. C. T.
I came with my boyfriend to take a pizza on Saturday night. The pizza was amazing and the staff really kind and warm. We've been looked after by the waitress Sara, a super professional and very friendly person. I am Italian and it has always been difficult to find a good pizza at a moderate price in London, but here I found it. Will definitely come here again!
H. J.
Loved it. Great napolitan pizza. Highly recommended.
N. A.
Good pizza and thanks biba for yr service 🤙🏻
N. M.
Was good pizza, not great. I liked the Nduja sausage. It was my first time trying that and I plan to get that by itself next time I see it.
B. P.
An excellent hand made pizza in a great location. Totally loved that one!
Z. L.
Super tasty pizzaaaaa! The earl grey and elderflower iced tea is amazing toooo! Loved it!

Great Pizzas! Especially great service from Alessandro and Luigi!

Delicious pizza’s and drinks and the most friendly and efficient service from Eleanor- thank you so much! We’ll be back!
R. B. C.
I liked the pizza but the service wasn't great.
S. S.
Beautiful Napolitan pizza
P. C.
Pretty awesome pizza! Nice dough. Keep it simple, no crazy ingredients, italian style. The cheese and nutella donut is superb! cheap pizzas. Love the mushrooms one!
E. S.
Very nice pizza and the staff were great, I loved the nutella ring for dessert! Thank you to Fina and everyone else for looking after us.
S. O.
Maybe the best pizza in london, perfect food and service by Luigi
V. G.
The best pizza ever in London, the excellent services of the teams in particular of Michele and Loris makes your dinner enjoyable. I really loved the pizza, if you can you have to eat here for the best pizza of your life.
m. r.
I recommend this place, for the great taste of pizza, (I’m a picky and vegan person) the ambient is warm and rustic :)
Amazing team, polite, patience and available with my requests, and they got a good choice of music, seems to be in Italy 😁
I’m coming back for sure.Thank you guys!!!
A. L.
We fancied a cheap but yummy dinner around Soho and I have always walked past but never went in. We were surprised to find a lovely downstair seating area. The PORTOBELLO & TRUFFLE Pizza was recommended and it really was delicious. I have been disappointed by white pizza many times but this really was so good. I cant even rmb what else we ordered but it was also very good.
N. H.
Such amazing pizzas. Luigi and Francesco are the best.
R. H. B.
Amazing customer service. Even in what appear to be one of their busiest nights Gas found the moment the surprise us and make our night with a smile and super friendly. Not to mention that the pizzas are the best you can find.
I. R.
Tasty pizza. We were a big group and everyone loved thier pizzas. I wished they had a tuna pizza. The place is always packed and you might have to wait for a table but it's worth it.
M. T.
Great pizza and great staff.
All the pizzas are worth trying out. I recommend the Nduja, Double Pepperoni and Spicy Honey, and, inevitably, the ever-present Marinara.
The pizzas aren't deep pan which I don't mind. They're crisp with the right amount of chewiness (for me).
Given the location, the prices are very reasonable.
J. O.
Tasty and ample pizza for a reasonable price. It should be the go-to for pizza in the area.
P. P. Z.
Awesome experience! Great food and great staff. Sara is a great manager! Looking forward to coming back soon!
M. L.
Delightful place to eat with friends! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Pizzas and sides were tasty and cheesy (if you opt for cheese toppings). A slight delay between ordering and receiving the food, but understandable with it being around dinner hour.
L. G.
The pizza and the dessert were amazing! Our waiter Luca was extremely kind and efficient and did recommend us the most amazing dessert. Will be happy to come back :)
J. T.
Passed by and saw people eating the pizzas outside. Decided to stop and have a margarita for lunch. The pizza were amazing. Dough was thin but perfectly cooked. Tomato sauce and mozzarella were obviously fresh. They were also large and half each for lunch as perfect for us. Will definitely be eating here again.
K. C.
Had an outstanding lunch during outdoor dining today! Our girls had garlic bread (loved) and margherita pizza, my husband and I split Buffalo margherita and mushroom truffle (yum.) Top score goes to the Buffalo margherita!!! Absolutely the best margherita pizza with a classic, unadulterated sauce and that mozzarella! Used the crust to soak the dripping sauce off of my plate as the dough is fantastic as well...5 stars, wish we lived nearby! Thank you for using fresh, no-nonsense ingredients!
J. F.
Pizza was exceptional! The dough was soft and fresh. Tasty! 👌🏼highly recommend the place.
J. R.
We were walking through Soho looking for a place to drink and snack, and we found this place. We were attended by Costa, a very nice young man from Greece. And also to thank Luigi, he made us feel at home, the attention was exquisite. I definitely recommend this place and will be back.
E. M.
Pizza was lovely, best napolitan pizza in town. Loris the pizza chef was very professional. Michele and Sara served us and they were super friendly. We were served very quickly . Will return
D. G.
Very good Italian style pizza, sourdough base and very well priced. Is popular and therefore gets very busy and may need to wait a while for a table. As far as pizza chains go this is bar far the best in London. Recommended if not looking for anything fancy.
A. M.
Yummy pizzas with super friendly service from a staff called Angela!!!
M. B.
A fantastic place full of great vibes and amazing service.
Not an average pizza place at all. The restaurant is cosy and the staff were super helpful and they made sure we had a great time there. I would recommend it to all my friends, especially during this difficult period we are all living. A breath of fresh air to forget all the problems of this world and dive into an amazing atmosphere; our pizzas were outstanding, super flavoursome, piping hot and the ecstasy of our palate.
We’ll definitely come back with some friends next week. Don’t stop the good work. Thank you pizza pilgrims!
G. M.
Vinny deserves a raise, promotion and free prosecco x
R. L.
I went for a bite on soho with friends and found this place with authentic napolitana pizza in the corner of dean street.
With that suas we had and extremely amazing experience from the vibe of the outdoor sits, friendly team and a very warm and friendly hostess.
I will be back with more friends, for now thanks for the beautiful journey the team of pizza pilgrims led us.
Pizza wow one of the best I ever had.
Recommend 100%
m.
Very nice place with unique atmosphere. Pizza is fresh made, tasty, very similar to Italian. In lunch time may be queue, but it's worth to wait!
M.
Amazing place and atmosphere. Alessandro and luigi were the best helpful and quick . Cheers guys 🍻
S. T.
Best pizza I ve had in a very long time!! The pesto is just perfect and the chilli jam to die for... as for the staff?! You re gonna be so lucky if you re served from Gustavo! The guy is so friendly, warm, welcoming and polite. You d think a small shop like that is not gonna be good but it’s worth much more than posh restaurants. Definitely will be going back!! Thanks Gus
A. C. R.
The delicious crispy pizza !!! It’s was my first time in this place and I had never tried an original Neapolitan pizza in my life!
They have the best Italian pizza in London and the location is great in soho (Central London) where there are many people enjoying!
Amazing team! 5 starts ever !!! Thank you guys.
B.
Speedy service, friendly staff, good food at good prices.
P. M.
We had a wonderful dinner here while on vacation. The Italian servers are very friendly and helpful, and the pizza is outstanding. I had the double pepperoni and spicy honey and it was great. Never heard of spicy honey but don’t know how I’m now going to eat pepperoni pizza in the future without it. Reasonable prices, warm friendly atmosphere, great pizza. Glad I visited.
T. D.
Amazing food and excellent service from Germano and Angie! Kudos to the kitchen team also!
V. P.
Staff is very friendly and well engaged with costumers , me and my boyfriend we go there ofter and I strongly recommend this place.
Pizza taste amazing .
S. D. L.
Amazing quality and service! Carmelo was the best 👌 I will definitely go back
G. S.
Decent pizza not worth £12, moody waiter
H. M.
Great experience! We've been served quickly by a lovely Italian waitress, the pizzas arrived steamnig from the oven in a couple of minutes and the quality of it was the same one I would get back home in Italy, I really felt home! Five star and more for the store and the whole company 💜

I went to soho for dinner and it’s started raining, passing by dean street we spot a corner we didn’t know. The music took our attention and we decide to try. One of the best pizzas I ever had fresh and I am not sure how I never been on this place before.
Big highlight to the team, vibe and friendly people serving with great pride.
The host was charming and loved the jokes.
Thanks again
T. C. P.
Great pizza. Friendly staff. Good location. Convenient for a bite after work drinks.
A. C. C.
Good sourdough pizza. But my favourite was the burrata for starter. Service is ok.
R. N.
One of the best pizzas I ever tried! Believe me I tried a lot. 😉 The pizza is really authentic. It's the way they bake it in Naples. It's just real pizza!
The people working there were really nice and helpful. I would go there again. For sure!
E. K.
A spacious and cozy pizzeria with a young adult attitude. Everything around is playful, cheerful and sleek with an American college atmosphere.
I have a simple marinara pizza, the only vegan pizza on the menu, though I was told I could add toppings I opted out for pure and simple red pie. On the side I had a homemixed peach ice tea which was very refreshing. Pizza arriver shortly after that. It looked gorgeous with a lifted fluffy edges, leopard spots all over and bright red sauce with a sprinkle of fresh basil in the middle. Before I even grabbed a slice the smell of garlic, oregano, fresh bread and sauce filled my nostrils. A good sign for a simple pizza. This pizza had a thin base, somewhat floppy in the middle but crustier on the sides. In my first bite I was amazed by the intensity of flavours, garlic was spicy, oregano played with tomato sweetness and savourisness, while dough added balance to the whole picture. I was happy with the flavours and texture, the only slight downer was a floppy center. After 3 slices I was full so I had to take last one home with me. Next day I ate it straight out of the fridge and it was just as good cold as it was warm. Overall it's a good simple pizza.
While inside staff was very helpful and friendly. My experience was pleasant and I would come back again for another pie, ice tea and probably some olives next time.
y. k.
The place is very delicious also very good service luigi best guy !!!!
A. C.
One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten in my life. Incredible flavours, tasty and fluffy crust (get the pesto dip) and while it's on the menu, you *have* to eat the salted caramel tiramisu.
Clean, great atmosphere and really nice staff.
J. K.
Had a great time in this pizzeria with amazing servis from Alessandro 👍👌
Very tasty pizza. Very friendly staff.
Highly recommended.
R. S.
Fast service, great pizzas with good quality toppings and a fantastically tasty crust.
N. M.
Had to try the fondue pizza and it didn't disappoint. Although did feel like I needed a nap straight after. Not sure the ricotta is needed in the crust to be honest, think plain dough would be perfect to eat with the fondue cheese. Love it though - great idea, super tasty and the staff were very cheerful and happy to help.
G. S.
Awesome! Even the margaritha is a decent choice here :D ! Definitely recommended to try one of the others as well!
e. m.
Nice handmade Neapolitan style pizza with fresh toppings.
D. H.
Carmelo is the greatest of all time, banging pizza still
C. M.
Quirky little place with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and a nice selection of Pizza options, both to eat in or take away. Fundamentally one of the nicest pizza bases I've had. Fluffy, doughy and soft. Only slight criticism would be that the pizza quickly got cold, a hazard with pizza in general, but could be helped by serving on a warm plate. Definitely not a reason to miss this gem though and we'll certainly be returning when we're in the area.
O. C.
Just incredible. Friendly passionate staff make the best pizza in London taste even better.
M. G.
Great pizza and super friendly team! There is something unique about this place: happy team, great vibe, cool music and simple and tasty food! What else do you need in a Heart of Soho!? I definitely recommend this place! Thank you team and keep doing amazing job!
M. S.
Jheeeez. The pizza in this place is amazing . Even if they were really busy I ate a delicious pizza with pepperoni 🔥 my friends took margherita with aubergine and salsiccia with friarielli! I really suggest you this place
G. M.
Awesome pizza in an incredible atmosphere!
N. A.
One of the top 5 pizzas I've ever had. The crust is crunchy and soft at the same time and has an incredible flavor to it. Service is fast and friendly and the price is excellent considering the quality of the pizza. Highly recommend trying any of their restaurants, it's now a favorite of mine.
S. M.
Mixed for us. My partner loved his pizza (margarehita). I went for the pesto base and the base simply didn't cook sufficiently. Maybe due to the very liquid topping? Or too hot an oven. Anyway, the staff were great and provided a second fresh attempt but that was still semi-raw dough in the centre. I prefer my pizzas more crispy so I guess this style just is not for me.
My partner would go eat there again but I would skip it.
R. R.
Best pizza in London, in my opinion. Tastes REALLY Italian. As italian living in UK, I always try to go to Pizza Pilgrims when I'm in London, the Soho location is quite handy and there are seats in front of the windows for single people who may not need a table. Service is average but pizza is great. Price is completely reasonable, same price for a pizza all over UK.
r. s.
The pizza was divine and the sweet was gorgeous
F. L.
See it billed as Neapolitan often so was expecting some thick pillowy dough but was much more elegant. The dough was extremely airy and crisp, with stiff, charred base which provided good chew. The sauce and mozzarella were also very elegant in their execution and taste.
The setting is great as well, a beautiful place to eat al fresco on the corner of Dean Street with a view of Soho Square.
G.
Delicious Italian Naples style pizza served with no nonsense simple menu options. The pizza is great - not quite as good as the best Naples has to offer but the closest I've come to it in London. Best thing is they do the Marinara pizza with no cheese - not seen that anywhere else but Naples!
L.
Best pizza I had in London. Double pepperoni m honey. Unique. Highly recommend!
O. M.
The waiter was a great laugh. Only reason for a 4 star is the location is not the best and there can be a lot of drunk people in the streets. Including empty drinks bottles and rubbish but that's just Soho
V. B.
Best pizza IN LONDON , said from an Italian pizza lover
S. N.
Decent pizza but maybe a victim of its own success - very very busy and staff appeared to be in a rush to get us out of there.
S. S.
Pizza is all freshly made and amazing flavour.
C. R.
Excellent pizza, easily some of the best I've had in London. We shared a very large and reasonably-priced pizza between us and the staff were happy to let us split toppings for each half. It was delicious.
J. M.
One of of my favourite pizza places in London. Always lovely food and terrific service. Often end up sitting my the window watching the sights of Soho (always interesting!).
Regardless of how busy they are, the guys are friendly and allow me to practice my rusty Italian. Grazia 🤓🇮🇹
Highly recommended.
K. A.
Lovely little pizza parlour just on the corner of Dean Street. Nice "Italian" decor and great atmosphere.
Not a big menu, but the pizzas they do make are delicious! And the sizes aren't small either! And all at a reasonable price.
Very friendly staff is is always a must.
I would definitely come back again.
P. P.
Excellent Pizza with fresh Fior di Latte and an incredible taste, can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Pizza Pilgrims!
E. H.
Best pizza I've had in a long time, served by friendly staff. There was a half hour queue, but they had an excellent system which sent me a text message when our table became free, so we went round the corner for a drink while we waited. It was definitely worth the wait. The little place has more seats than you'd expect. I expected, since we were sat deep in the bowels of the restaurant, that service would be lacking, but it definitely wasn't. The waitress was excellent, and knew how to upsell without upsetting. Good prices too – a meal of pizza plus two alcoholic drinks came to £25.
T. D.
Absolutely fantastic pizza.
The crust is thin and mushy and just like a crust should be and the toppings are really good quality.
As a vegan they have three options for vegan pizza and they are great, no vegan cheese though but that really doesn’t matter as the pizza are still great.
Bringing two teenagers that are non vegans and had the regular pizzas their response was “pizzas are super fantastic”, the best they ever had.
I really recommend this place for a good authentic Italian pizza 👍🏻😊
K. S.
Brilliant little place at a corner of Dean Street. Amazing and refreshing to see a pizza made the authentic way. I had the Marinara pizza. The only vegan option there. But also mozzarella is made with rennet - so I just stuck with the mozzarella free option.
The pizza was light, and tasted fresh! The sauce was so tasty - you could still taste the tomatoes. The crust was done to perfection, freshly baked in their wood fired oven.
Drinks wise - they have a relatively niche selection of soft drinks. If you don’t regularly drink San Pellegrino sodas - some of them are quite bittersweet so stick to your regular colas.
Quite a tightly packed little pizzeria. Nice experience.
E. J.
Best gluten free pizza base I’ve ever had :)
S. M.
The best pizza I have had this side of Italy! Better than Franco Manca. Definitely get the dipping sauces. The fact that my waitress was from Italy and could make recommendations based on her experiences from home was special. Loved the seasonality too.
N. D.
The vegetarian pizza was decent but my favourite bit was doodling on the box!
m. s.
Searched google for good authentic pizza for our day trip...as last holiday before Covid was Rome.
Pizzas were amazing and authentic and service by Sara and Gus was genuine and care free. Relaxed and without the static, personality free check backs and up sells.
Didn’t realise it was part of a chain we visited last year in Oxford as the experience was totally different and was worlds away from a small chain/brand.
Seeing more of these little cosy sites pop up would be great to see rather than large sites which lack atmosphere.
Keep it up to all the team. The family loved it and it took me back to my times when I lived in Italy.
Y. j.
Just been here after a karaoke night out. It was amazing. A lovely, cozy vibe with the the most friendliest staff I've come across on a busy saturday night.
Angela was an amazing host, she was extremely attentive to us and made us feel so comfortable!
The pizza's where freshly made, beautifully fresh and presented. I had the margarita pizza with the house drink. For dessert we tried every single one as a group. They simply made us feel so comfortable, that we just had to. We stated there for 2/3 hours just eating and dancing to the lovely latino music. Thank you so much PP for making our girls night so wonderful. I cannot wait to try you again!!!
J. R.
Found it randomly at the weekend looking for pizza. Best pizza sauce I think I've had outside Italy. Very fresh, very light and so full of flavour without being overbearing. I could drink it by the glass. Service was good and quick. It was full downstairs but they had an original interior decor that would be great for a small party.
G. P.
Unbelievable! Sunday night I found the real Neapolitan pizza in London! In a cozy and pleasant place I ate an Excellent pizza with Mozzarella tomato and mushrooms, with a high and soft cornice, recommended by the efficient and likeable Bruno. A must try!
D. T.
We went at a very busy time and took a while to serve us and others who arrived later got served first and as we had waited 15 mins to get served we decided to leave, until a very nice gentleman came over and apologized and got us sorted and the food was very nice and plenty choose from and when paying he than apologized and asked if everything was ok and on that note all was redeem d and I'd recommend the place
Z. Z.
A rainy night we stopped by accident to protect us from the rain and rest for a while! We ordered a pizza margarita with pepperoni and 2 beers and sat outside!! When they served us we were sure it would be a delicious pizza from the way it was baked!! And then we taste it!! OMG!! What a pizza!!! One of the best pizzas we've ever eaten!! We will come back on our next trip!! A must stop for pizza in London!!
J. M.
My first experience at Pizza pilgrims. The restaurant is in a great location and the pizza was very good. What made the meal special though was the staff. We had a waitress with blonde hair who was just superb and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Look forward to coming here again.
I. L.
Great pizza!
D. A. C.
Great Experience here. I didn’t eat Pizza! I had a salad and it was so simple, yet absolutely tasty. The arugula was fresh, the mozzarella was the highlight, and the sun dried tomatoes were sweet. Service was great too!
S. H.
Truly delicious pizza! The crust was a bit to soft for my preference but the tast was amazing! I would definitely go here again. The staff was nice and the service was fairly quick and really good. One tip; do book your table beforehand especially if you are more than 2 people!
S. B.
This was a great little find. Very quirky. The part we were sat in was link a bomb shelter. The food was delicious and good value for money but the service let it down. We asked for dips to go with our pizza and we had nearly finished by the time they arrived and there was a bit of a language barrier when ordering our food. I would recommend and I'd likely return if I was in the area
A. E.
Great tasting pizza. That stone oven pizza is a steal over any other pizza shop near there.
A. K.
Amazing pizza, tastes like mmmmmmh
M. C.
Amazing staff! Delicious pizza! Angela is a very nice waitress, lovely and smiling 😊 also the other members of the staff where very friendly and the dough is really like the one in Napoli's pizzerias. I felt really back in Italy. My favourite pizza is Salsiccia e friarielli! So tasty!!
O. M.
The pizza was decent, highly recommend this place!
P. G.
Excellent pizza, amazing value. Proper Neapolitan pizza cooked in literally a few minutes. We had barely ordered when the our food arrived.
Charming location, nicely decorated and a nice vibe. The staff were very friendly. The food was very reasonably priced and tasted amazing. It was out cheapest dinner in London and probably our favourite.
J. K.
Thanks 👍
Great meal, soft authentic pizza. Friendly staff. It was very busy when we went here but the host was warm and inviting. Food tasted great and service was fast despite how busy they were.
Would recommend to anyone.
i.
Best pizza chain in London. Great staff at Dean too - Grapa to end 😅
E. R.
Great pizza, very authentic. Also amazing prices!
The short menu makes it easy to choose and the atmosphere is lovely. Would highly recommend!
D. R.
Great pizzas here in a funky little place. The key thing to note though is the pizza base- it’s AMAZING. Fluffy, flavoursome and ideal with a side dip. Outstanding. Good selection of craft beers as well. A very cool take on something that could have been just another pizza parlour. Well worth checking out.
H. O.
THE most amazing pizza everrrrr from the boys in Soho! Looked like a work of art too ! Wanted to take a pic but couldn't wait !
J. C.
The pizza is outstanding. The staff are outstanding. The music is outstanding. The drinks are... Liquid
But who was in charge of picking the knives? They are pointless.
Fantastic pizza. Great place for a quick lunch or dinner.
This place is rooted. My great grandkids will be eating here.
A. D.
Delicous food, espacially the pizza. Nice service and a great atmosphere!
d. i.
I've always liked Pizza Pilgrims Soho. Pizza is super good and fairly charged. But I decided to write this review because yesterday I went there with friends and the waitress Angel assisted us and she was the funniest and most professional at the same time. Great experience!
C. W.
The place is great, but the food, oh God.
The ingredients are fresh and professionally selected. The pizzas are carefully made and almost taste like the Italian ones.
I ordered Capricciosa since it is my favourite type and the taste was unreal. I can't express the joy of tasting so much flavours in my mouth.
Creamy, melted mozzarella cheese, fresh tomatoes, delicious baked ham, mushrooms and condiments.
That pizza has me still thinking about her.
I probably shouldn't write reviews when I'm hungry.
P. B.
The best pizza in London! Pizza Pilgrims is always my go to for pizza when I'm in central London, I really can't fault it. The food is gorgeous, the servers are lovely and it's dog friendly! I took my little chihuahua there today and everyone was very lovely to him. 🐶
B. Y.
Probably the best Neapolitan-style pizza in London in my opinion. A small menu, as it should be, that offers pretty good value.
They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes. Once you're in, the food is served quickly and the staff are great.
The reason to come here, simply, are for the amazing pizzas. Wet and tasty in the middle with soft chewy crusts on the outside. Never had a bad experience.
D. A.
I love Pizza Pilgrims: it’s cheap, great Neapolitan style pizza with a lovely crust - done with great ingredients.
WAY better than Franco Manca.
Staff here are also very friendly!
Highly recommended.
E.
Nice place for a quick bite. The mushroom and truffle oil pizza needed a bit more salt and flavour. The margherita was good. Light dough perfect for a light lunch break. Great music selection.. friendly staff.
B. M.
Excellent lunch option if you are in the Soho area. Pizza's are of a very high standard (earned the approval of Italian work colleagues, very very high praise) and excellent value which is a tough thing to find in central London. I got the margarita and it was really nice, dough was very tasty and properly cooked. Decor is quirky and Italian-esque, service is fast, the food served quickly and the staff are incredibly friendly! All together an excellent dining experience. Will recommend to others and will definitely be back!

BEAUTIFUL & AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD.
Personable customer service that leaves you feeling appreciated. In a place like London that is hard to come by.
This was my first experience here and boy am I returning. I cannot praise this eatery enough.
STRONGLY RECOMMEND.
A. T.
It was okay, the pizzas were good but I found the waiters to be quite rude. The location is nice though.
T. O.
Excellent place, highly recommended. Good food, good service. Our waiter Luca, in particular, was superb: very thoughtful and sensitive to our questions.
G. P.
Delicious pizza, lovely helpful staff. Some of the best pizza sauce I've had in London
B. A.
Fondue pizza. Burrata pesto pizza. My goodness... SO great.
J. B.
Went here with a few friends for dinner. Ordered the ndjua pizza with flatbread and a coke, amounted to about £16 each with service. The pizza was exceptionally good; incredibly flavoursome and cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
My only minor criticisms - which aren't big enough to knock a star off - are that our table for three in the lower floor was a bit cramped. Intimacy is nice, but there almost wasn't enough space for our food!
Aside from this, the restaurant was perfect. If you want to spend <£20 in Soho on pizza, I don't know anywhere better. Thanks to the staff!
M. F.
Great pizza place in the area. Absolutely delicious and fresh at all times, the prices are reasonable and the service is prompt and punctual too. Highly recommended to al pizza lovers.
R. P.
A number of people had mentioned this place as a great pizza place, so I thought I'd give it a try. The menu is simple and there should be enough choice to please everyone. The prices seemed pretty reasonable, but I was disappointed with the pizza when it arrived. While it arrived quickly, a thin smear of sauce and a light scattering of topping showed why the prices were relatively low. The base was also really soggy. The staff were certainly very friendly and helpful, though. Just let down by the pizza.
N.
A big but eclectic selection of pizzas. Difficult to find a table, specially in the weekend.
M. N.
I cannot emphasise enough how amazing this Pizzeria is. I've never tasted such a good pizza in London, and the guys working there are amazing: it's really nice having the chance to look at them making the magic happen!
You should try their arancini as well, simply fantastic! Whenever I feel like having pizza, this is my first choice. Excellent!
H. J. S.
Went here with a few friends for a quick after work dinner soon after it opened. I can't fault the food at all, the pizza was delicious, arrived quickly and one of our party said it was the best she'd eaten since a trip to Naples. The menu has enough choices without being overwhelming and the drinks are reasonable.
Unfortunately there were a few issues with service (wrong food brought out, deserts delivered at different times and an error on our bill) but the staff were gracious and these were quickly resolved. Hopefully just a pitfall of being so newly opened!
Will definitely be back!
H. H.
Loved it. There is no shortage of good pizza places in London now, nor other good themed variants, but Pizza Pilgrims gets top marks from me after a tasty pizza, entertaining staff, extremely good prices. Only negative is that queue to get a table (you can't book that I know of) can be long but you can't critic success and that is purely a symptom of it. Good work and keep it up.
S. C.
Walking into this restaurant you may be forgiven for thinking it's a takeout only place (although Londoners will know better) but underneath the tiny shop front is a fun warren of tables decorated with Pizza Pilgrims personal style. The menu is perfectly sized providing a range of flavour combinations while not over-reaching and risking pitfalls in service. The quality of the food was high with friendly staff that passed on a pleasant and positive energy. As a coffee fan my espresso was everything I'd expect and enjoy from an Italy styled company. A strong representation for casual dining.

Service was awesome, pizza was great and the began cheese very tasty! One tiny little critique would be that the prices could be a little lower but I understand most of your restaurant are in Central London, so :)
A. G.
We were seated at the Foosball table. It was fun and well lighted. The pizza selections were really tasty. We had 3: truffles, anchovies, and British meats. The pizza dough was done right. The Gorgonzola dip was a waste of £2. Staff was fast, friendly, and attentive.
S. J.
Best Pizza I have had in London! The quality and flavour is unreal! Also the service is top class. The venue is small however, so try and book to avoid any waiting.
A. S.
This place is an absolute gem. After the theatre, we googled the best place to eat and this was the top of the list. Rightfully so indeed! It resides in a small looking building but don't let this fool you. Down the stairs is the seating place with a heavy Italian theme. I had an amazing margareta pizza with the Nutella filled desert. These were both nearly flawless.. The only thing that I can say bad about it is there was only one scoop of ice cream in the desert which felt substandard compared to the desert with it. All and all, a great place
A. C.
That pizza place is the best ever!! The pizza is delicious and the customers are so amazing.. I really loved it and of course I’ll return soon.
T. S. P.
I tried the rest and this is the best. Truly great pizza place, there's variety on the menu and room for customisation. They always have a 'guest pizza' that changes frequently so there's always a reason to come back! It's not the cheapest but it's in line with London prices. Seating is downstairs, it can seem a little cramped but it has charm. I've been back to Pizza Pilgrims regularly, go and find out why.
S. B.
Authentic Italian place. Good pizza (9/10), fast service, no waiting to get a table (we were four).
Good assortment of wines and good beer. Didn't really like the limoncello.

There motto "in Crust we trust".
My motto "There Crust is a Must!"
Firstly a massive thank you to Frederica! She is a super star. Very attentive, friendly and personable! She was extremely good with my 6 year old and he had a marvellously time. Service was top notch!
Food was also spot on. Came out completely stuffed and satisfied with the quality and taste!
Thank you again.

We came here as a large group and got a lovely large table in a slightly more private area at the back. The pizzas were great, very large (so come hungry) with some good quality toppings and some interesting combinations (sausages and mash!). However, I would say that they are a bit too greasy, and the service wasn't that great, they seemed pushy to get us to order and to leave. Dessert options aren't extensive, but ice cream provided by Gelupo is never a bad choice!
D. K.
Very good pizza dough. Although it is tasty, the flavours are not strong. We ordered one with truffle oil and another one with gorgonzola, expecting two pizzas with strong flavour. Unfortunately they were very mild.
M. R.
The pizza is acceptable. Not bad not good, bit cheap and nearby
S. D.
Some say this is the best pizza in London. I have to disagree with it. It's certainly good, but not the best. Also, my review would be a 4-star review if it was depending only on the quality of the food, but I had to downgrade the note to 3 stars because of the small claustrophobic dining area. After I've been waiting for 40 minutes (which can be ok, especially considered it was a Friday night) my friend and I have been seated in a very small table sitting on the two adjacent sides of it (on the other side of the table there was a pillar that didn't allow another disposition, but facing the person I am dining with shouldn't be a problem, instead of being obliged at A) looking at the side of the person or B) sitting in a non-really-elegant position. Apart from this I have to say the food was very good (maybe not special, but above the average) and the staff was really taking care of us making sure we were fine (well, except the already mentioned limited space).
B. R.
The place from outside looks like it was only a few seating spots, but don't you worry, there's plenty of space downstairs. Great Neapolitan pizza serve by amazing staff. If you are looking for a quick lunch or nice easy dinner that's the destination.
M. H.
The pizza here is up there with the best I've had in London. The service is really friendly, and we are lucky enough to sit outside which was perfect when we visited because of the temperature in London recently! Only downside of street seating is the random homeless people that occasionally approach, but otherwise it's a great spot for some people watching. If you're a fan of lemons, get the lemon sorbet desert too. It's probably the most lemony thing I've ever had.
T. K.
There are kind workers make me bery happy and delicious cheap pizza. I LIKE HERE
R. T.
A hidden gem that cooks the pizza in a proper oven taking no time at all. Who said fast food didn't have to be fresh!? I can highly recommend the sausage and broccoli pizza (I know it sounds strange but trust me it's incredible!)
K. M.
The original and the best in my eyes. My favourite pizza venue in London and a place i have and will continue to visit time and time again. The menu is short and to the point usually offering one or two specials. This is proper, well research, well executed Italian pizza at it's finest.
A. P.
Love this place! Hidden gem of Soho!!!
This place has been consistent with their authentic pizzas (Napoli style)! Great place and atmosphere, they do have seating downstairs, but it's not a big place and at peak hours it might get very busy.
C. G.
Outstanding pizza and a fun and unusual downstairs eating area. They catered well to our 12 year old’s birthday party. The pizzas were delicious with tasty crust.
A. R. B.
Very good pizza 8 cheeses, and amazing service of our waitres Sara (professional and friendly) 👏
c.
My aubergine pizza didn't have tomato sauce, which I found a bit odd. When I pointed this out to the waiter he said the sauce was in the aubergine, it wasn't. To be fair he did offer to change it. If you get the aubergine and want tomato sauce on it make sure to ask when you order.
N. C.
Pizza pilgrim's is undoubtedly my favourite pizza place in London. The atmosphere, the pizzas, the service... everything is simple but so good. Also, it is very cheap. I'd highly recommend for any pizza lovers! (I know we are many!)
T. W.
Had fabulous pizza 🍕 here this afternoon. Having waited an hour unsuccessful for Nando’s, discovered here in Westgate. Very pleased to have done so! Delicious 😋
K. F.
For someone who loves pizza, but hates the crust, individually sized pies often mean an empty stomach and a wallet to match. Luckilly, the crust on Pizza Pilgrims' pies is so amazingly delectible that even the most stubborn of crust-despisers will go home with smiles on their faces (their wallets will still be empty, but the best things in live never come free). Don't forget to grab an order of olives to start off, and some vanilla ice cream with salt and olive oil to finish your feast. You won't regret it.
A. M.
Amazing pizza, but the downstairs feels cramped/warm/oppressive. I'm a little heat sensitive so if you're same or you're claustrophobic try and be upstairs!
Or just go to the Kingly Court Pizza Pilgrims which is a little more spacious and has the same fantastic food.
O. O.
Very very good pizza! For the price and taste....the best in London so far! Also staff members are super nice too! Stop giving money to fake dodgy pizza restaurants in London....this is one of the few that you should go!
T. M.
Great pizza at a great price. The menu is not huge, but there's nothing on the menu that's just there to take up space. There's a couple of vegetarian options to try. Never had bad service, although sometimes it can get rather busy.
S. M.
Never have a bad pizza here. Friendly staff that put up with a lot of drunks but still have a smile on their face. The aubergine pizza is delicious.
A. J.
I rarely do junk food but getting pizza once in a while is not a crime.
It was Cheat Day and a friend suggested to come here.
The place is great, but the food, oh God. I can honestly claim that this is the best pizza you'll find in London.
The ingredients are freshy and professionally selected. The pizzas are carefully made with love and almost taste like the Italian ones.
I ordered Capricciosa since it is my favourite one and the taste was unreal. I can't express the joy of having an explosion of flavours in my mouth.
Creamy, melted mozzarella cheese, freshy tomatoes, delicious Italian baked ham, mushrooms and condiments.
It also arrived at out table quickly, so we didn't have to wait.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable but the food makes me want to come back again and again.
C. G.
I´ve heard many great stories about Pilgrims, but never been until today. The restaurant is absolutely delicious, the pizzas are cheap and really well done. Can´t wait to come back
A. M.
Delicious pizza and desserts! Efficient and friendly staff, in particular Luca! Highly recommended!!
t. p.
We found their pizza very different from the rest of the places that we tried..They freshly make and bake their pizza. The crust looks and tastes like an Indian tandoor naan (if you want to relate it to). Their cheese is well melted and quantity is good enough for two people. Last but not the least you can add it to your cheap eats whenever you are in London!!
A. M.
For me the pizza is alright, maybe doesn’t really suit my taste, I had big expectation though. The pizza is freshly made, but it is watery and soggy, not too cheesy, the price is acceptable. Nice service though.
F.
Good pizza and reasonable prices. Basic margherita is the best in my opinion although adding buffalo mozzarella makes it better. Likely to find a queue but the service is generally quick so the wait is ok. Also good for solo dining and they do take aways
L. M.
My friend and I stopped by since we were in the mood for pizza. We ordered the margherita pizza and both enjoyed our pizzas. The ratio of cheese to sauce was spot on. Out of all the pizzerias me and my friend visited during our week in the UK this was our favorite. Highly recommend.
P. H.
Pizza Pilgrims serves the best Pizza I know in London. I have tried quite a few Pizza places in town and no one even comes close. Even in Italy you hardly find a place that good. Their selection of Pizzas is not too big, but all I tried so far tasted delicious.
L. C.
I was here a few days ago with friends and we had a really good time the pizza is delicious and the staff is nice and friendly. I will definitely be back
C. P.
Very good pizza and friendly atmosphere
A.
Had a wonderful experience here. Staff were so lovely and friendly, especially Katie who served always with a smile on her face. Definitely felt covid secure. Thank you!
K. N.
Another typical Pizza Pilgrim branch. Characteristically bustling place and has a basement floor for extra dining room. Pizzas are soft, doughy and toppings are flavourful. No complaints - just another great pizzeria from a chain.
A. L.
Consistently excellent pizza, good location and always friendly staff. Menu always has something interesting without being overlong. Reasonably priced
S. D.
I visited here recently with a friend and it was easily the best pizza I've had in London; possibly in my lifetime. We shared a panzanella and mushroom/truffle oil pizza and I can't fault the food, it also arrived at out table extremely quickly. I had the Nutella & Ricotta pizza ring for dessert which was also amazing and very big. It would probably have been enough for two, but I really wasn't prepared to share it. The service is friendly and attentive. The staff are obviously passionate about the business and this is really present in the restaurant. It's very reasonably priced; I paid under £25 for three drinks and all of my food and will definitely be returning.
J. v. L.
Great pizza place, one of the best ones in London. Love the atmosphere and the fact that it hasn't gone all hipster fusion on it's menu. You can find the Italian classics here. Not expensive either.
P. B.
When you walk in it looks like a takeaway joint and you must have taken a wrong turn but dont be put off. Downstairs is nice but not fancy, staff are good and attentive. The pizza's are a little lacking on meaty choices for my preference but what you chose comes very quickly and is very nice. To add to this place prices are reasonable so would definitely be a good place to check out for lunch.
M. R.
This is a restaurant and take away just off Oxford Street, London. It looks small on the outside, but once you are inside and have been greeted by the friendly staff, you go downstairs where the real restaurant is! A nice variety of pizzas which are fresh and really tasty. Would recommend
B. P.
What a lovely wee spot that packs a punch with flavour and friendly service! First time here, won't be the last. Thank you so much Luca, you are a star. Muito obrigado my friend 🙌💫🧡
J. P.
Really great pizza in a fun, relaxed setting in the heart of Soho. This is by far my favorite spot for pizza in the neighborhood, but mind there aren't many tables so expect a bit of a wait most nights and especially on weekends. Luckily the kitchen gets food out quickly so tables turn pretty fast.
Speaking of food, I'd recommend the Portobello & Truffle (£10) and Gianfranco Gorgonzola (£8) pizzas, though the former can be a little rich with truffle oil. The Garlic, Rosemary & Parmesan Flatbread (£3) is a good starter, though it's essentially a smaller version of the pizza, so bear that in mind.
If you're in the area and looking for pizza, this restaurant comes highly recommended. There are other great options in and around Soho, but all succumb to that Soho restaurant compulsion for loud music and low lighting, vainly attempting to seem so cool and hip that they can transcend the fact they're serving cheesy dough. Pizza Pilgrims doesn't bother with any of that. It's well lit and there's no loud music. The wait staff aren't pretentious and the food isn't overpriced. It knows what it's doing and why it's customers are there: they serve great pizza.
J. B.
Good quality fresh ingredients, prices are reasonable, but lacking consistency. I've had 4x Margaritas from Pizza Pilgrims and each one has been totally different.
The first was pathetic, it was a tiny bit bigger than a small side plate, soggy and sad looking, but they had just opened so I gave them another chance... and I'm glad I did because
the second pizza was amazing, big and juicy, still a little sloppy but in a good way, almost perfection.
The third was delicious again, was starting to get addicted to this place, but then the 4th was a real disappointment, the bottom of the pizza was burnt and covered with thick black charcoal on the bottom, couldn't even eat it, was disgusting.
I really hope they can improve consistency and raise quality a little, these guys seem to be a little too slap dash when cooking the pizzas for my liking.
But then I am holding them to the highest standards, if you want to parade around as master pizza makers, you better be delivering a quality product consistently.
N. H.
Great pizzas with various types of toppings, excellent service.
The orders are ready very quick and comes got as you should get it.
The place has a very Italian vibe, which is great since it is a pizza place
P. S.
Very good pizza. Good atmosphere
A. V. D.
I’ve been here three times now, I love the young and superfriendly staff, the easygoing atmosphere (you’ll feel at ease within seconds). They have a really good beer selection and off course, the pizzas are great! Easily recommended!
R. A.
There are more than enough pizza resrurants in London, but this is probably by far the best I have had. Really good menu which isn't overwhelming, very quick service and very reasonable prices. If you're in the area and fancy a pizza, this is the place to come.
O. G.
Pizza with personality. To be fair I haven't tried the full menu as I always go for the nduja pizza, which has a real kick to it. The crust is beautiful and the selection of drinks is solid - Moretti is always a good choice. I definitely recommend the afagato for dessert!
E. J.
While everyone raves about this place, I wouldn't go as far to say it's the *best* pizza in London, but it does come pretty close.
We tried out the Kingly Courty branch on Carnaby St as we figured it would be a little easier to grab a table, thankfully despite it being around 7pm we were seated straight away. The menu has a lot of great options, ranging from plain margaritas to more creatively topped pizzas I can't begin to pronounce. They have toppings for both veggies and meat lovers, and seemed happy to make any amendments (within reason) to the toppings for you - I'm no fan of goats cheese and they made sure not to add it for me.
The pizzas are great value for money, come out of the oven piping hot with cheese so melted it turns into string when you tug the slices away.
The only thing that I felt did let it down was how sloppy it was - I'm a big 'eat pizza with your hands' kind of girl, preferring to cut it into slices, but I had to fold the slice in half to be able to eat it without all the topping sliding off onto the plate.
S. D.
The margherita pizza at this place is heaven. They have a proper oven to make pizza, and it takes mere minutes to produce perfection. The staff are kind and funny and it wasn't super crowded when we went for lunch on the weekend. 100% would recommend.
V. S.
Some of the best Pizza I ever had in London. The truffle oil pizza sounded oddly intriguing, so I went for it and loved it. Great prices too, for the quality. Staff are friendly
P. D.
Perfect pizza fast service. Came past a blues session in it ain't nothing but blues, ordered and ate in 2 seconds. The pizza was heavenly, so so happy with this place! The Portobello pizza is super yummy, as well as classic Margherita.
A. E.
I have been so happy about this specific Pilgrims. The service has been good and ALESSANDRO has been looking after us in a nice and polite way. Pizza is the best and try the Nutella ring. Super delicious
S. S.
Very nice pizza! We were in and out in 20 minutes and they added a 10% service charge though, which I thought was a bit rich. Otherwise would recommend for a nice, quick meal.
R. O.
I loved this place but there was 1 drawback and it's probably a silly one considering this is an Italian pizza place but everything tasted like it was glazed in Olive Oil. And I mean everything. The food etc. Was still great though.
K. L.
Amazing experience! Fantastic staff and delicious pizza!
D. P.
Great place, authentic pizza. Friendly staff.
G.
Definitely the best pizza in London! Also Nutella ring it’s soooo good!!
Employees kind,friendly and professional!
It’s a pleasure to go there!
I definitely recommend it!!
Thank you guys see you soon!
B. M.
Friendly staff, quick service, reasonable prices. Unfortunately pizzas were undercooked. I will visit again at a less busy time with hopes that the pizza will be properly cooked. This place has potential to be a very good zaa joint.
Y. T.
Had the double pepperoni and chili honey pizza and it was delicious - can highly recommend!
C. S.
Good Italian restaurant with a traditional taste of Italy. The service is quick and people are friendly.
If you want to eat a proper Italian pizza, this is the right place.
L.
Nice food and the waitress Amy was really polite too!!
C. S.
My favorite pizza in London is finally accessible in the evenings! The decor is kept nice and casual, a bit unfortunate that most of the seating is below ground floor so you don't get any natural light or windows..but hey they have super delicious fresh pizzas and and they have the most decent foosball table I found so far in an establishment in London!
O. D.
Went on a saturday evening and was busy. Waited 40mins but totally worth it. Excellent pizza. Simple and tasty just like it should be. Staff were also very friendly. Will be back for sure.
F. M.
Best pizza I've ever had period.
E. T.
Fresh and tasty pizza? This is the place. I pre-order one for lunch online and paid online, then pick it up at the shop whilst watching them cook it in the pizza oven and then they slice it into quarters. By the third slice I was so happy and full that I enter into food coma. Remaining slice became next day's breakfast.
Cheerful staff. Happy customer. My order was for a Smoked Napoli £8.00
Margherita with smoked anchovies, black olives, capers & oregano. Delicious. Just a word of warning, the bottom part of my pizza was completely burnt. Apart from the burnt taste, it was still delicious!
PS: You can takeaway or sit in. There is also a downstairs seating area.
S. L.
Enjoyed a visit here a few week ago, best pizza I've eaten. Plan another trip in April and can't wait to visit again. Simple menu, delicious pizza, relaxed friendly place.
m. R.
Always they serve tasty Pizza
R. S.
Delicious pizza, you can tell they use good quality ingredients. Great service!
M. W.
Really nice pizza, great bases, and very good prices too. Service was good, and food came very quickly.
There is more seating downstairs, but overall it's pretty small, but that lends to a good atmosphere.
D. D. T.
Pizza Pilgrims make really great pizza. Highly recommend the Nduja pizza.
F. H.
Very good Napolitan style pizza! Service is nice too. Only little drawback is the lack of choice (not many typical pizzas available).
All together nice place though!
M. M.
2nd time here, slow bad service.
We waved to order our food after 10min being seated, she said “one minute” and she instead started noisily picking up the cutlery from the next table. (There was 2 tables in the room, I mean, she was not busy).
She finally took our order and the table next to us which arrived later received their food fist.
I ordered tap water, she never brought, I had to asked another waiter.
We finished our pizza and I wanted to order dessert but she never showed up so my husband had to stand up to order the bill, she never picked up the empty plates As you can see in the picture.
I’m not the kind of person who complain and I don’t expected a great service in a relaxed place like pilgrims but at least good service but maybe it was bad luck from us.
pizzas was avarage.
B. L.
I've been to this location several times and the food is always delicious. Customer service is great and food comes quickly! I ordered the pizza with Nduja sausage and it never disappoints.
J. S.
Always have a good time here, great pizza luckily got the table football table which is little known room downstairs. Paid a fortune for all the food we got but we ate and drank a lot. Lovely welcoming restaurant's deserve praise and this place is grreatt!!
M. C.
Amazing pizza, best I've had, 3rd visit and consistently great food and service. No rush even though we sat down at 1015pm. These guys know pizza, also love the cookbook they published. .
T. G.
Very good pizza. Had the calzone, safe choice. Tasty, great waitress, although felt that our table was required for another booking, so that is the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars
D. F.
This places does pizza well. Napoli style so it’s not a crispy base ;like NY pizzas but softer so you can fold it or use a knife and fork. What this place excels at is the pizzas that have the tomato base sauce. It’s very good and makes a hero of this ingredient. It’s up there with Franco Manca for London pizzas.
J. C.
My favourite place to eat in London. I'm always tempted by a guest pizza but can never pull myself away from the Nduja. The friendly staff, quiet but great music and classic Italian film posters are a perfect environment for the best pizza in town.
Have a drink in the pub opposite if you are concerned about the wait for a table on a Friday night - It's busy for a reason
I.
Great food and atmosphere, Fina and the team were very kind.
J. C.
We finally got round to trying the new Pizza Pilgrims pizzeria and so glad we did. The restaurant is small and cosy and seems to be quite traditional looking, which I really loved. I ordered the Nduja pizza which has a spicy sausage topping - the pizza tasted great but I think it could have done with a little extra sausage or something extra to make it feel worth the £9. The pizzas are more tomato based then overly cheesey which was a nice change and the bases are thin and crispy but with stretchy crusts - perfect!
S. C.
Since visiting Naples in October I’ve not been able to bring myself to eat what Us brits call pizza. Just randomly walked past this place on the way to Leicester Square today and noticed the Napoli scarf hanging up. My god! What a pizza. As close to Naples as possible. Very decent prices great surroundings and staffZ so happy to have found this place!
P. C.
Really delicious food. The pizzas are thin, and crispy, and huge; after eating dinner here I was still full the next morning. Toppings could be a little more generous but the food is delicious. The on-tap Birra Moretti is great, too, though obviously at London prices.
If you can, sit upstairs at the bench looking out onto dean street. The basement looks nice enough but can't compete.
M. A.
I still remember this place after 4 years, before they had so many locations! We were in London shortly after a trip to Italy (I also studied in Perugia, Italy 15 years ago) and the pizza was as good as any we had in the birth place of this beautiful dish. I am pretty sure that I ate the Nduja and my wife had the Salami. We are planning a trip to the UK this Spring and both of us agreed that we will be making a pilgrimage to PPs. See you in May!
n. p.
Pizza Pilgrims is a pretty easy one to review - they're really, really good. Deliciously crispy based pizzas are served with excellent toppings that are a bit different from the usual default offerings of other pizza restaurants. There's a fussball table if you're that way inclined and everyone who used it seemed to be having a great time.
T. B.
This was my first visit to a pizza pilgrims, their base is a bit different, almost like naan bread, puffier and softer than a normal pizza base, good for dipping.
l. t.
So glad that the little van turned into a restaurant for the Pizza Pilgrims chaps. The pizza is lovely, and they have prosecco on tap. There is a bit of a wait if you haven't got a big group of 8+ but I was happy perching on the flour bags with my Aperol Spritz. Quick service and really lovely staff means that I will be back. Pizza Express opposite cannot be too happy!
N. M.
Fast service decent beer selection and light style pizza similar to Italy. Not the greatest place ever but recommended. Margarita pizza was solid. They need to cut the pizza before they serve it though...hipster maniacs.
K. O.
Just wish they would stop messing with the spicy honey & pepperoni. When you order it as a takeaway they put chilli flakes or fresh chilli all over it, it's not in the description!! It doesn't need it at all and should be an optional extra!
D. B.
I love this place, just solid good pizza. The menu is always simple and the pizza is always delicious. My favourite thing though is the Nutella and Ricotta dough ring... mmmmmn yummm 🤤
A. C.
Still the best one, everything taste right and perfectly balanced, tomato’s acidity is excellent and their mozzarella is the perfect match/clash.
The dough s just as good, if you want a good one that’s the place.
