Go there with the kids, this restaurant is one of the most kids and family friendly restaurants I’ve been in so far. Staff were super nice, friendly and helpful, one of them help my toddler to calm down when he was upset and I really appreciate it. Food was good, we had spaghetti Bolognese, Calamari, pizza burrata, pizza parmigiana and garlic cheesy bread. Kids love their pasta and we like the pizza.

This place is amazing. Some of the best pizza and pasta I've ever seen. I was doubtful we we're going to get anything too good from this place from the outside. But never judge a book by it's cover has never been so true. I had a pizza here and it was one of the best I've ever had. You could see the make in the kitchen every pizza fresh. It was so authentic and I'd highly recommend. Some of the pasta dishes also looked amazing. In terms of price I was also again surprised. Pizzas we're only about £7 or 8 each which for London was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough for a lovely authentic meal! It's not the most amazing decor but it's some of the nicest well priced food I've had in a while.

This is one of my favorite Italian pizza restaurants. The pizza is absolutely delicious at great prices. I also like the native Italian environment alot. It is also nearby and local to me so I can always have a nice time bringing my friends along (who are not from this local area). They are always impressed and blown away when I bring them to this place.

Solid Pizza! This place has been going for years and you can see why! They offer great pizza at a decent price. Pasta's are good as well, to be honest can't go wrong with most things on the menu, very quick getting the food to the table and if you go on a sunny day then the big terrace out front facing onto the common is a perfect for eating in the sunshine. Regularly go back when around.

Have eaten here many times. Food is lovely, pizza and pastas, also reasonably priced. Atmosphere is nice too, and the staff welcoming. My only criticisms would be that I'd like to see more vegetarian options for pizzas and pastas, also, every time I pay with cash, and due anywhere from £5-£10 change, they ALWAYS give me coins and say 'sorry, we don't have any £5 notes'...a little suspect I think...forcing tips.

This is my favourite place to get Pizza in London! The hospitality is great and the prices are very good value. The pizzas are very tastey with plenty of options to choose from. The giant king prawns as a starter are amazing so do give those a try as well. Highly recommended and just 2 minutes from the clapham south tube station as well.

The best Pizza place in London! If you are local go! If you are not local go! If you are vegan go! The staff and chefs make the best vegan pizza I’ve ever tasted and to your specific taste.... really! Go! No cheese obviously but so many veggies!! Wow, I wish I could post photos. Wounderful staff. They made us feel welcome right from the start of our two week stay in London. My wife said this was the best spaghetti she has ever had. The pizza was some of the best that I have had. My favorite was the four cheese with mushrooms. I gained 9 lbs in 16 days partly because of the food at this place. Everything was fresh I will miss the olive bowl. We had a lot of places to go eat our last meal in London, we chose on the green.

I went when we still had sunshine and the venue was quiet We thought Pizza on the Green was excellent, the pizza outstanding and the cost, then, was very reasonable. This was the first visit we made, and we feel foolish that we'd decided it was too close to home to be worth trying. I love the location of this place! On a nice summer afternoon, the views of Clapham Common that your eyes get to feast on while sitting in the courtyard are amazing. If it is winters though, there is quite a bit of seating on the inside as well. For the last 3yrs, this place has had a board at its entrance which says 'Pizza and pasta HALF PRICE!'. Nice marketing ploy, but I guess the locals know better. ;) Having said that, the food is nice and is definitely value for money. For all you thin-pizza-crust-lovers, you would definitely like this place. The service leaves some scope for improvement, but I would definitely recommend this place, if only for the views of the park! :)

Pizzeria on the Green is an outstanding restaurant. The Italian speaking staff really go out of their way to accomodate and make the experience enjoyable. The pizzas are delicious and generous with toppings, the wine list features some great italian wines and the entire menu is very reasonably priced. Excellent value.

Have been a regular here for over 20 years & it’s always been great! Have taken more friends than I remember. Can unsurprisingly get very busy, but they always do their best to accommodate. Will be sad not to have this as an option when we leave London - very sad indeed!

A must-go for cheap eats in Clapham. Everything on the menu is half price at all times, which means you can grab a huge pizza or pasta for £5-£6. The food isn't excellent, but it's good all the same, and the staff are hugely welcoming and entertaining. Often packed on a sunny weekend evening, it might be worth booking ahead.

If you're looking for relatively good Italian food at affordable prices, you'll likely be pleased with the Pizzeria on the Green in Clapham. The location is great too as it's a short walk from the Tube though the prices aren't affected by the High Street location. Takeaway pizzas can be ordered in 10 minutes or less and can cost as little as £7. However, the POTG is far from an unknown quantity. As such, the decibel level in the restaurant can reach high levels. So if you're looking for a quiet night with your partner, it may be best to do takeaway. It's best suited for families and parties of four or more in my experience. In any case, give the POTG a shot if you haven't already.

For 2 times I took pizza Margherita (I like the simple ones and this was really exceptional) and for once the calzone with tomato, mozzarella and ham. Very good. The staff is courteous, friendly.
