Reviews of Plant Hub - Gluten Free Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

What an absolutely gorgeous place with exceptional service and food! Offering an organic, gluten free and plant based menu alongside a selection of natural wines, Plant Hub truly combines sensational flavours and ingredients bringing to life an array of dishes catering to those of us with food allergies and sensitivities. The pizzas are insanely delicious and the mushroom truffle gnocchi is one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Aubergine Parmigiana, cheezy garlic bread, gnocchi cacio e pepe, mushroom pizza and tiramisù with a tipple of homemade limoncello to finish it off. ALL VEGAN AND GF. Truly amazing what this place has pulled off both in terms of vibe and menu. The staff are super friendly and the overall experience is excellent. Thoroughly recommended for a great date night and for any special occasion dinner (hopefully they can expand the opening hours soon). Will go back as soon as I can!

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!
This is the second time I've been here and it's amazing!
We were 5 people, took 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts. We were afraid we wouldn't be able to finish the desserts but they were so tasty we couldn't stop eating!
Everything was incredible 😍😍
I'm the only one in my family who's vegan and gluten free (they are neither) but they loved everything, said it was like being in a regular Italian restaurant.
The must haves for us were the ricotta (garlic bread), mozzarella (caprese), calzone, mushroom gnucchi and the cheesecake. But it's very hard to pick because everything was very delicious.
The staff were also very nice and answered all of our questions ☺️

if i could i would give 7 stars! new best restaurant in London with a very refreshing menu from food to cocktails!! tip: ask for the pear cocktail or the vodka truffle! also the truffle gnocci is out of this world!! the garlic cheese bread as well!
If you managed to soak the cheese garlic bread onto the truffle gnocchi you will achieve NIRVANA.
you can’t go wrong here, enjoy!
R. F.
Amazing food. If you’re GF or if you’re vegan, or both - this is the place to go in London. The best GF dough I’ve ever had (try the garlic bread), brilliant gnocchi, pizza and oh my gosh the tiramisu. Pair with orange wine and you’re winning. Give these guys a go!

Went there with my family for Saturday lunch. The good was amazing and the service was great too. Chef Antonio and his team are doing a great job in making this place special. Thank you
M. B.
The food was phenomenal. The garlic bread and gnocchi dishes were out of this world. Super indulgent, not at all like regular vegan and gluten free restaurants. Really nice atmosphere and lovely staff.
K. p.
A true gem. The flavours in every dish from the garlic bread, to the gnocchi to the cheesecake, simply scrumptious. I'm not a vegan and have to say this more than tops non-vegan Italian restaurants out there! A must try and the service was super friendly too :)
M. M.
Went here as a non vegetarian and vegan with a friend and the menu is smallish but perfect. You would never think that behind the building front such a fabulous, food heaven existed. The food was delicious, tasty, eye appetising and really surprised me. The place is well run by attentive, cheerful staff, happy to make suggestions, not overbearing and polite. The food is plainly made to order and is outstanding, beautifully presented and well priced. Never imagined I’d enjoy it and can’t wait to go back.
R. C.
Every course was fantastic! We had garlic bread with cheese, parmigiana, truffle gnocchi, cheese and black pepper gnocchi, banoffee cake and carafes of spritz - I couldn’t fault a single thing, everything was absolutely perfect. The mozzarella on the garlic bread is some of the best vegan cheese I’ve ever tasted. Not only that, but the staff were also brilliant - we were looked after by Max and he was superb.
K. A.
One of our favorite restaurants now, for sure! The service was so so nice and attentive and the food was beyond tasty. We had just the gnocchi with truffle, calzone and cheesecake but we will be back to try more antipasti and other pizzas too. Thank you, Max and the whole team!!!
A. M.
Most times it's hard to find decent places that are both vegan & gluten free. That's why the Plant hub is paradise for us that require those options. The Kombucha tonic with lemon was so refreshing. Absolutelty loved the lasagne (you must try it!) and really enjoyed the asparagus. The sweet burger is big enough to have on its own or to share with a friend if you are feeling kind.
I'd say the prices are good. You can feel the love in every bite. So value for money?, hell yes!
Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
T. V.
Hands down not only the best gluten free and vegan food which blows my mind to start with but some of the best food that has ever entered my mouth. Highly recommend to anyone who wants the best food in London
L. S.
Amazing food and amazing service. I loved the tiramisù and the truffle gnocchi! Perfection :)
H. M.
Such an amazing place, the vibe is super cool, and you can so tell everything is made with so much love, with the best plant based gluten free food i've tasted in ages!
We had an incredible 5 course tasting menu that was so delicious.
⚡️Started with an oat cheese (paprika flavour was unreal), pickles, fermented kimchi sauerkraut & the best glutenfree foccacia I’ve ever had, charcoal & miso flavours
⚡️aubergine parmigiana with pistachio pesto, best vegan #parmigiana I’ve ever had!
⚡️oyster mushrooms & sezchuan squash purée my favourite the tastes were amazing in this one
⚡️bulgogi maitake “beef” steak with buckwheat, such a delicious rich “meaty” sauce
⚡️carrot cake & chocolate aubergine cake both so moist & yummy
⚡️washed down with pims #kombucha .
Everything is made on site & you can tell with so much love & passion. If you’re in Hackney go check it out, if you’re not it’s so worth travelling to eat here, it’s definitely a destination on the map.
What i love most about it is that its also a wonderful Plant Academy too with amazing courses from raw chef to fermenting to tempeh making. Definatley worth checking out their courses too!
Thanks guys for such yummy food! a proper plant based destination in Hackney not to be missed!
K. C.
Such a great restaurant with top quality amazing food. You would not know it is vegan and gluten free. But it's amazing that it is. Also has a great selection of wines and lovely staff.
D. H.
Pride Kitchen offers Londoners sustainable, healthy and filling plant based breakfasts. The menu itself is very intriguing with too many vegan options to choose from. If you are hungry try for the charcoal buns. Cucumber spaghettis are refreshing but I keep going back for the probiotic all day brunch! Thoughtful and creative cooking at its best, these plates definitely worth trying.
S. S.
I have been to many vegan restaurants and I can honestly say that PlantHub was one of the best! A clever and super delicious variety of dishes, I loved the cesar salad, focaccia and burger. And the space is beautifully designed, the staff friendly and helpful. Definite 5-star recommendation
F.
What a fantastic place! Really lush deco with plants everywhere, the food was amazing I had a pizza, the topping and sauce was perfect, the base was just wow, glutee free and very chewy! A parmigiana as starter which I would definitely recommend, it’s modern take on traditional parmigiana you must try! Finished it off with caramelised almond cake with ice cream, just wow! Would definitely recommend to anyone even if you are not plant based you must try, will show you how amazing plant food can be!
A. k. r.
Probably the best garlic bread I've ever eaten, a delicious pizza, and a nice cocktail.
I didn't catch the servers name (he was tall, maybe blonde or light brown short hair), but he was super friendly and helpful with recommendations
I'm really happy to now know a good vegan Italian place in Hackney.
M. S.
This place is perfect for someone with coeliac (gluten intolerance) since the whole place is completely gluten-free, with the exception of oat milk. My partner and I go here regularly and so far he haven't had anything we didn't like. None of us are vegan but we still happily go here again and again. I've also brought a lot of friends (both vegan and not vegan) and they all really enjoyed the food.
As a coeliac, I've had a hard time to find good pizza. This is definitely one of my favourite places in London and I absolutely love their calzone!
C. C.
Absolutely delicious mushroom gnocchi and fantastic customer service. A lot of main stream places don't go that extra mile to accommodate special diets like mine but this place is clearly an exception! Thank you for the smiling staff too. Will return.
P. P.
Really welcoming and friendly staff, who very kindly put a rush on our orders so we were able to make it to a timed entry show.
There was great choice on the menu - something for everyone - and the food was genuinely AMAZING (we had the cheesy garlic bread, parmigiana, truffle gnocchi, margarita & banoffee cake). Also, a definite must try is the homemade Limoncello -- sooo good.
This is my new favourite restaurant as it caters for a variety of dietary requitements without compromising on quality or flavour.
I can't wait to go back again and try all the other dishes on the menu!!
A. K.
An absolute gem! Everything was so perfect about this place. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was AMAZING - I only wish i had left a little bit of garlic bread to soak up every little bit of sauce from my dish. And best of all ... VEGAN!!
R. S.
Amazing food by chef David, all vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free, in this cosy space, with friendly staff. Great choice of plant based burgers, super salads and sampling plates, super food lattes and amazing cakes. If/when summer comes the roof terrace looks nice too
A. R.
Wow this place was amazing. The service was brilliant - and the owner gave us lots of information about the different dishes on the menu. Great find for anyone gluten free, you would not believe the food is gluten free, it tastes so good! The dessert burger was something else. We will definitely be going back :)
A. G.
It was our first time in a vegan/gluten free restaurant and it was a great experience.
The food was absolutely delicious from starter to dessert so was the wine.
I had the asparagus and saffron gnocchi and I highly recommend it.
The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the place is just...beautiful and cosy.
Ah.. the chilli chocolate pear cocktail was to die for!
R.
Food and people are amazing! My favourites are Cheesy garlic bread, roasted aubergine and Truffle Mushroom Gnocchi. I love them and I come back every month or even more. x
J. L.
Great starters and wine and the interior is great with all the plans. Not as much fan of the mains. Best dish on the menu was for sure the oyster mushrooms in sriracha! A must eat!
H. L.
As a meat eater, I'm totally impressed by the quality of their vegan food. They have interesting flavour combinations and amazing presentation. Love the venue decor too.
C. G.
This is the best vegan restaurants in Hackney! Everything is #GlutenFree #Vegan.
Food is packed with flavours, friendly stuff and fresh ingredients from local farmers. The smoked mushroom burger is a MUST but everything in here is delirious. I come here all the time. 😋
They also have an academy with baking classes and stuff. Super cool place!
S. H.
Such delicious options, all gluten free! The homemade focaccia is well worth the trip! The staff are so genuinely lovely. Highly recommended for coeliac and vegan alike
C. Y.
Delicious flavoursome food. Highly recommend the baked cheesecake! The kombucha was excellent also. Great dining experience.
N.
Best gluten-free & vegan pizza you’ll ever get! The Regina of Hackney is sublime. They also have a calzone, which is so hard to usually find in any pizzeria in London. And the Cheesecake is the perfect dessert to end your meal. Highly recommended!!⭐️
n. g.
Absolutely blown away!!!
I had one of the best ever dining experiences at plant hub in Hackney!
I still can’t get over how delicious the food was! I highly recommend this starter combo of tomato salad, oyster mushroom and cheese plate - mind blown!!
Not only is the food outstanding but the owner also has everything else covered.
Gorgeous setting, lovely ambience, mood lighting, funky bar, tables far apart, perfect for a romantic meal! Most vegan restaurants in London really lack this aspect which is so vital for a gorgeous dining experience!!!!
The wines were simply perfection clearly picked out by a concessure of wine. They complemented the food perfectly. Not usually a huge wine fan but I couldn’t stop drinking the wine here!
Staff are so lovely and attentive. The chef serves the tables personally, has such a gorgeous sweet energy and is so passionate about vegan food!!
My go to restaurant In London for vegan food!!
A. W.
Hands down the best restaurant in London right now. If you have been disappointed by gluten free food your entire life and looked with jealousy towards people eating quality bread and pizza, book right now. You won't even be able to tell the food is vegan btw. I can't wait until they deliver to Old Street and Angel.
J. O.
Best creative vegan restaurant. Very ethical team who work with integrity and understand well sourced ingredients and good quality food
I. S.
Flavoursome vegan food. I'd definitely come back... And I'm not actually vegan. Had the pesto gnocchi and aubergine lasagne - both dishes blew me away!!
M. G.
I had lunch today at Plant Hub and was served by Antonio and his blond colleague (whose name remains a mystery to me). Both the food (truffle gnocchi and almond tart in my case) and the staff were most captivating and endearing. Moreover, the venue is very cosy and charming. I'll have to stop by again at some point.
E. L.
The menu has completely changed and they don't have the creative and super tasty vegan dishes and non-alcoholic cocktails they used to have over a year ago. Food is ok but it's the typical Italian menu.
I. S.
starters - very scares and not really that tasting. I was disappointed by the "ricotta cheese" tasted of nothing. For the price of a main it's really not worth ordering unless sharing.
Main- Truffle mushroom gnocchi - WAS SOOO DELICIOUS. Very small portion size but if you're not too hungry then it's great!
Desert- Not worth ordering. Seemed pre made, frozen and not fresh at all. I had both the brownie and carrot cake - both tasted nice but honestly sub par i have had better.
Staff - Our waiter was very lovely and nice always topping off water. The person who took our bill was extremely rude and stuck up. Got a lot of pretentious vibes from the bold man with the moustache and was very impatience and frankly rude as we're a group of young girls who are note exactly posh or boujji.
OVERALL: Good if you wanna treat yourself, nice atmosphere and fast service, even on the 50% our bill was hefty so not worth the price if you're doing a casual dinner.
N. C.
Delicious vegan food. Menu a little limited, but the baked goods and gluten free miso bread are worth the trip!
A. B.
I re-visited the restaurant not long ago since lockdown, this was (and still is) one of my fav places in London. It’s such a cosy place, with the best gnocchi in town!
The menu has evolved quite a bit and you will not be disappointed, the wine selection is superb.
I didn't try the pizza yet though, so will definitively come back soon!
S. W.
Incredible food! We have visited twice recently, I am vegan and gluten free but my boyfriend is neither. We were both completely blown away by the beautiful flavours, complimented by lovely natural wine. Highly recommend! Although its the other side London, we will be visiting again soon!
S. J.
Possibly the best vegan pizza in London. The La Regina truffle pizza was a true taste explosion. Highly recommend!
B. B. C.
Everything is good BUT the aubergine parmigiana is the best I ever had, and I’m not saying is the best vegan version, no, it is the best among all possible variations. Decadent good. This time I had one as a starter, next time I’ll get two as a main.
C. H.
Everything we’ve had from there have been amazing! Particularly love their pizzas, the tomato sauce is of amazing quality and it’s hard to believe the dough is gluten free!
A. A.
This was the best pizza 🍕that I have ever had, I can't believe it's vegan and gluten free. Fantastic pizza, Always feel so blessed when I find places like this. A must for coealics. Thank you
D. J.
Lovely place, great team. They gave us loads of their corks today to make little boats for our son and made his day👍🏻
A. D. S.
Amazing food. Great combination of tastes and all vegan! Best vegan in Lnd for sure
A. E.
One of the best vegan meals I've eaten! Creamy/cheesyness is something I really miss in a vegan diet and they absolutely nailed it. Perfect menu, faultless service. Can't wait to go back!
H. B.
What a surprise, again! Was my second time but, for this one I brought few no vegan friends for a different eat out experience and litterally couldn t choose for a better option! What a flavour and consistence, in each dish! And the staff, very friendly and easy going like the environment:) Highly recommended experience! Felt like at home:)
C. V.
Oh my god! We just ordered with them for the first time, the pizzas were amazing!!!! Never had such tasty ones! The Margarita and the Calzone are definitely to be repeated!
M. E.
This is the best cafe and restaurant in London. They even have classes on cookery, life drawing and a camp for kids!
K. S.
Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing staff! I'm in love with this restaurant! My new favourite spot! And everything gluten free and vegan! Can't wait to visit again! Simply amazing!
M. R.
Do yourself a favour and eat here!!! I’m still dreaming of their baked cheesecake. Everything I have tried (which is most things on the menu) is amazing. I can’t wait until lockdown is over so I can dine-in again too - they have such nice & chilled vibes and super friendly & knowledgeable staff. #GF #GlutenFree #vegan #dairyfree #DF
N. G.
I keep gushing about this concept, I love it! I took my non-vegan parents (my dad being very pro-meat) to the Vegan Sicilian supper club, and we all loved it! The space is amazing and their offering is super.
The supper club was the best one I've been to - I loved how they explained each dish to us, something you see very rarely at supper clubs in fact!!
I really look forward to going back for a lot more.
W. S.
Lovely place and decor. Super relaxing and chilled. I love the fact that everything they serve is gluten free. Food was really good- but I will go into details below.
We had: Cheese board, oyster mushrooms, focaccia bread, mushrooms gnocchi, kimchi pancake and the aubergine dish(don't remember the name) For a desert we had raspberry cheesecake. (We came twice!)
-Cheese board was sensational and I've never enjoyed vegan cheese that much! I would add some extra chutney/grapes on the side to make it more interesting and worth the price.
- Focaccia- excellent! Best gluten free focaccia you can get in London- that's for sure.
- Kimchi pancake- please add some green salad on the side- it would take this dish to a next level.
- Cheesecake- amazing, amazing, amazing- the only thing I would change it's the ice-cream choice. It would definitely go better with vanilla or other mild flavour. Raspberry sorbet it's a little bit overpowering and I couldn't taste the cheesecake well.
Hope that helps! Keep doing what you doing. Well done and see you again soon :)
R. M.
Brilliant place with authentic Italian food. Plant Hub is exceptional!
J. W.
The food was absolutely amazing, particularly the oyster mushrooms and the gnocchi.
Would highly recommend it to vegans and non-vegans alike - for non-vegans in particular (like me), you will not even notice the difference, as the food is divine!
N. C.
Awesome place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Was there with a friend and we had the Beet Burger and the Mushroom Charcoal Burgers, they were excellent, accompanied by sweet potatoes fries. We also had Oat milk flat whites, the Protein Bomb Shake, Earl Grey and an herbal tea and a brownie.
Everything was extremely good, the brownie made with beans is very peculiar in taste, doesn't really resembles a traditional brownie, it will depend a lot on your personal taste, but I personally liked it.
Def would recommend to anyone for a meal or even just coffee, prices are honest, the burger + fries is a tenner, the rest is standard London prices.
I. E.
Ordered on Deliveroo: pizzas, calzone and tahini brownie...everything was delicious. This place has obviously high standards of quality and care. Doesn’t matter if you’re vegan or gluten intolerant...you can’t tell the difference anyway 😂. But seriously, They deserve a medal for doing what they do, Bravo 🥇👌🏽
J. T.
Love this place! My friend is vegan and I'm ceoliac. We love having an entire menu of yummy food to choose from. Because everything is fresh and seasonal it's always delicious. Service is great too!
S. M.
Great 100% Vegan Restaurant! The food was all delicious and with great quality. We were really impressed with the nut cheese board and we will return for sure!
M. M.
Unbelievable food. A true artist.
Best meal we had in London by miles.
I am not Vegan. Usually scared by the concept. Will it be tasty? Will it be filling? It was simply fantastic The dishes explode in your mouth!
Definitely get the tomato! Highly recommend making a trip to this unique restuarant.
E. S.
Absolutely delicious, beats most other Italians, vegan or not
D. K.
Love what this place does and feel they have so much potential...offering new, innovative , healthy and delicious vegan food. However I will say as a vegetarian who hates mushrooms (and peppers), and is normally the only veg option at non veg establishments, it's feels a bit lazy to have more than half of their menu items with mushrooms. I just wish they'd use something more exciting than mushroom.. surely a place like this has better ideas than MUSHROOMS
H. L.
Great service, the pizza was lovely and the agretti was a must-have! Only comment would be that the in-house kombucha was a bit pricy.
Would definitely recommend a visit!
M. B.
I never give public reviews, so here is my first one... This place is incredible. Owned by passionate people that just want to share their love and knowledge about the real good and nutritive food. They propose classes, which I had the chance to try and it was a really great experience! it's important to show to people that gluten free dairy free plant based meals and desserts are achievable :) to come back on their menu and bakery I of course love it, I love their creativity and it always tastes amazing. They can also prepare birthday cakes! one of my relatives has a strict diet and the fact that you can eat such a pretty and flavourful cake brings a lot of joy for such a unique moment. Oh and +100 points they are absolutely lovely people, always very welcoming.
Have a try, you won't be desapointed !
h. s.
I love David's books and think his flavour combinations are extraordinary so it was a rare treat to try the cafe on a trip to London. It didn't disappoint. The mushroom focaccia was just delicious. Staff were attentive and David utterly charming. I want to go back.
B. S. E.
Creative and delicious vegan food. Great friendly service. I recommend the broccoli, the vegan cheese and the focaccia! Simply amazing tastes. We will come back definitely!
M. M.
Food is delicious! We had a protein Super Bowl, a miso squash and Mac&cheese to share, all finger licking good! The atmosphere is super relaxing and the people are very friendly and professional. They also organize cooking classes and everything they can make by themselves they do (even kombucha!!). Highly recommended!
M. A. L.
Great food and friendly staff. I think the menu changes often but I can recommend the Fennel and the Shroom Skewer. Still have cravings for the Ho-Nay cake, one of the best desserts I've had. Beware that portions are small, and if the corn ribs are on the menu I'd skip those.
E. D.
Stopped for the platter of ‘cheeze’, focaccia and lemon meringue sweetness. The cheeze was highly satisfying, could have used some compotes or fruits to accompany the platter but other than that 👌🏻 the delicious and gluten free bread was surprisingly fluffy, moist and tasty.
The dessert was equally delightful, the staff was lovely and with good music tastes.
Love to see these kinds of gem popping around town, I’ll be back!
G.
I have been there few times and every time I have had a great food experience
The search of the umami flavour in every dish, the attention to the details on the presentation is among Michelin star restaurants
It's not just a plant based food but the sinergy of food with human roots, we have been farmer for long time, our ancestors decided to settle to harvest fruits and grains.
When u go there u reconnect with mother Nature ,homemade, organic, local and beautiful served
Definitely an experience worthy of doing
Thanks for the amazing food
P. L.
Just perfect! Very interesting, creative dishes, wonderfully balanced flavours and textures.
The staff were friendly, attentive and humble (for such display of imagination and skill. The coupling of flavours have been thoughtfully made and you can taste the care and consideration in every bite.
The ethos of this cafe is also to be commended as there is zero waste! And all for a very reasonable price.
If you are looking to be inspired look no further.
L. S.
I have probably been to over 100 vegan restaurants all over the world in the past 2 years and I must say that Plant Hub is easily in the top 5.
The food is fantastic. I only wanted to eat a small dish and ended up ordering almost the entire menu.
Highly recommended.
C. K.
Lovely space with lovelier food. Antonio works magic with chickpeas and the mushroom gnocchi will tempt you to tap on the kitchen door and ask for more. Highly recommended!
H.
Amazing place! Was dragged in by my vegetarian misses due to the nice interior design. Completely took me by surprised.
Charcoal focaccia with truffle mushroom and mustard sauce... charcoal burger with "g-oat" cheese, thick slices of vegetables and paprika sauce. Both full of flavour.
Unfortunately no dairy milk, had to have oat milk in my coffee - It was ok.
R. K.
Cozy restaurant with friendly staff and delicious, creative plant-based dishes. Ingredients are fresh, and the research and planning that have gone into making this a sicker-than-your-average vegan eatery make themselves apparent. Good, chill music, too.
J. E.
My boyfriend just sampled their dinner menu and love their modern but homely dishes. They have created a thoughtful and chic surrounding to a fun and creative menu! You must try their sweet burger and the oyster mushrooms! Beaut!!
N. R.
My lunch at Plant Hub was absolutely divine. I had the 'Fly' plant bowl which was beautifully presented, very nourishing and surprisingly filling. All in all, it was a beautiful constructed bowl with greens, perfectly cooked vegetables, filling and creamy sweet humous which was complimented by the tahini dressing. There was a perfect contrast and relation of textures and tastes. The goat 'cheese' was interesting. It didn't taste as goat cheese as such, it was obviously coconut but with a cheesy, nutty tang. However, the texture was very alike real goat's cheese, and melted into the dish beautifully. The crumble on the top of the aubergine was a perfect touch. Both the owners David and Antonio were lovely, as was the service in general. Somewhere between a casual cafe and gourmet dining, It is a lovely spot outside of London with truly good and innovative vegan food, definitely worth the trek if you don't live in Hackney.
M. A.
Today myself and a colleague went for lunch, we both had burgers, Mushroom and Italian respectively. We also had chickpea chips, they were a bit soft, but on the whole very nice. We had no complaints, they were both very filling. The staff were lovely and helpful. We both decided we would go again. We paid £25.30 this included a Mocktail.
R. R.
Wow wow. We just ran in to order some food to go because it was nearby, and the staff were lovely and gave wonderful recommendations from the menu. Truffle mushroom gnocchi top delicious. Definitely coming back for a proper sit down meal!!
J. B.
Delicious and very tasty food! Loved the service and atmosphere as well - can’t recommend too much
C. R.
I love this place! Great food, great team, great vibes! Super umami dishes. Looking forward to seeing how the menu grows! I am sure that soon Plant Hub will be one of our favorite plant based spots in London! A place to put the eye on it!
J. C.
Now I do not say what I’m about to say lightly....
And I have visited many a vegan establishment.
And fallen in love with different dishes all over London.
However, I can categorically say... as a connoisseur of flavour... that @planthubuk has executed flavours better than any vegan dish I have EVER HAD.
Their exquisite flavours made me close my eyes and nearly cry. They were done so PERFECTLY.
🍔
The Charcoal Burger - Lightly toasted charcoal bun, roasted pepper, aubergine, goats cheeze and spinach. With chickpea fritter fries.
🍔
5/5 I did not miss a plant based alternative to meat whatsoever. The tartness of the goats cheeze contrasted the sweetness of pepper and aubergine. The charcoal bun was flavourful, crisp on the outside yet so soft within. And those chickpea fries were moreish. Crisp and delicious.
🍯
Millionare’s slice - We were kindly given this complimentary to try. And it is hands down the best millionaire slice I have ever had because it understood so perfectly the balancing of flavours. The dark, slightly bitter cacao top, contrasting the rich sweetness of the caramel with a crisp slightly salty base. It all held together so beautiful with perfect texture. 5/5.
🍫
Protein brownie-
I had to try this as a LOVER of brownies. It was very chocolatey with a fudgey middle and slight crisp crackle to the top. However, for my taste, it needed an extra punch of sweetness with a hint of salt. Still very delicious. 4/5.
🍫
If you are looking for excellent, personal service with beautifully executed flavours and textures, I could not recommend @planthubuk more highly.
I will definitely be visiting again to explore their dinner menu.
J.
Just visited this place with a friend and my dog (yes they love dogs!) and wow! What a find! Creative yet unpretentious food that was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been more perfect. Decor was really lovely too and very reasonable price wise. I will most definitely be back on the regular. Thanks for a fab experience guys! X
I. E. S.
very nice food! just wish it was more affordable
W. R.
Focaccia is peng! Hands down best Vegan sarnie in London. Cheesecake reminds me of brick lane bagel one, which was my favourite back in the day when I weren’t vegan. Can’t wait to try dinner menu here
T. C.
David B. and Antonio A.'s plant hub is truly a beautiful blueprint for the potential of guilt-free food.
It pulls together different strands of a more health conscious, raw-end of the food spectrum to bring you something delicious to the table. And most of these are gluten-free, organic and vegan.
A. G.
That was a lot of fun! Oh and the food and staff, all mouthwatering! 🙏 Thank you! ❤️
D. C.
Great food. Great staff. All in a really calm airy space
A. S.
Currently my new favourite in East London! All plant based with some slow food produced onsite. I tried the same ‘Protein’ bowl twice and it varied each time. All was delicious and bits and pieces of the clean plant goodness combined so well with each other. The preparation room behind the glass wall is a nice touch and a reminder that cooking doesnt always require a stove.
M. B.
The food is absolutely delicious, it is quite hard to find Mediterranean and Italian inspired food but with lots of vegetables, colours and where you feel so light after eating starter main and dessert :) I will definitely come back to taste every single dish !
K.
Great food and service. The menu is all vegan and gluten free and the focaccia I had was delicious. I will definitely be back to try more. This place is a real gem.

I am not a vegan but I thoroughly enjoyed the Vegan roast, set in Hackney, this is a lovely little restaurant with very enthusiastic and polite staff. After eating here I will incorporate more vegetables in my diet as I did buy one of their cook books.

It's very excited to finally have a vegan restaurant in London that is high in quality, taste, presentation as well as being healthy and well priced. The restaurant is also decorated really nicely and the service is great.

The food was absolutely awesome. So fresh and staff were great. Small and charming place which cannot be recommended enough.

The gluten-free focaccia was stunning. As was the rest. They were v. accomodating to our last minute booking by making an extra table. Heroic effort.

Interesting and tasty menu, amazing kombucha. Had the Italian sandwich and the pims and "mojito" kombucha mocktails. SUPERB. will be returning to try the rest of the menu and looking forwarding to catching them for brunch 😍

Been here a few times and has lovely staff. Had dinner once and the food had next to no seasoning and incredibly bland. On another occasion got coffee which was lukewarm.

Came here on Monday with my boyfriend, food was nice, however I am giving a three star review as the female waitress seemed unnecessarily catty and passive aggressive
