A lovely restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. I hadn't booked a table, but was given a nice spot as a walk-in. The restaurant got busy pretty quickly, which says something. Our food came out in a timely manner, but didn't rush us between courses. I would recommend Punto, you won't be disappointed

We celebrated our Ruby Wedding with our family our friends. We were impressed on the food and service that Punto provided. Although we knew the food is always delicious but on a large scale you never know. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Giani and his staff gave first class service to us. We travelled for 2 hours just to come to eat at Punto Italian. The food was so fresh, high quality ingredients and excellent seasoned. We ordered a variety of dishes. The salmon was cooked to perfection, so crisp and tender, so delicious! The sauce that covered the salmon had such a unique taste, absolutely delicious! It was the best salmon dish with prawns that I've ever had! The carbonara was so creamy and full of flavours! The kids loved the pizzas and the dessert! The waiters Marius and Georgiana were so attentive, so friendly and delivered such a great service! The chef came personally to ask if the food reached our expectations! Highly recommend Punto Italian! 👌❤

Great Italian restaurant, up to date atmosphere, nothing too fancy but great for a family occasion. Menu is a good size, many options for everyone. From fish to pasta and pizzas, something for all. Very friendly and accommodating staff, although pouring drinks for me is a bit too much in my opinion. I can't recommend this any higher to a group of friends or family looking for a celebratory meal out.

I haven’t been to Punto in about 15 years or so. It’s been done up beautifully inside with a new and improved menu. The crab bisque soup was to die for and the mains were really tasty. Would definitely go again.

I came for dinner last night with a friend. The place is very inviting, warm on a cold winters night. I had the seafood linguine and it was very tasty, had beautiful and big King Prawns, just the right amount of chilli and a good portion of linguine. The chefs choice of desserts was also lovely! I will 100% be coming again.

Fantastic service, lovely food, would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone thinking of going there!! We were a party of 10 (8 adults, two small children) and we had plenty of space to sit comfortably. They have taken every precaution against Covid with partition screens between the tables and hand sanitizer points at the entrance. Thank you Punto for a fantastic afternoon.

Restaurant is really nice since they redid it a while back. Friendly, competent staff. Solid Italian menu but food can be a bit inconsistent. Had their pizza, pasta, chicken, steak, veal etc: sometimes really good, other times less so. Bit of a local institution so hope they're not resting on their laurels! Always worth a visit though, and they do takeout too.

Me and my somewhere in this restaurant today day and and we were running all extremely late so we pre-ordered food my son ordered three coloured mozzarella avocado and tomato very large mozzarella ball was just on the plate there is no presentation event ordered a Fiorentina pizza with an egg on top the egg was raw I ordered calamari which were very nice then ordered a seafood risotto expecting to get seafood in the risotto but apart from three scallops on top there was no seafood I am a vegetarian and they put bacon on top this is partly my fault as I did not ask whether there would be any meat products in this expecting it to be seafood staff of friendly and the place is extremely clean

My husband and I visited Punto last week - our first time since it reopened. We had starter mains and dessert. All the food was delicious and my pizza was so big that the wait staff were kind enough to pack some of it up for me to take home. The decor was beautiful and each member of staff were only to happy to help us with anything we asked for. Will most def be back and maybe take the kids next time as they have a great children’s menu. Also love the way it celebrates birthday for guests.... a lovely touch.

Amazing Night. Our waiter was Nistor he was an absolute pleasure. Professional, yet friendly with many creative and interesting ways to bring our food (e.g., somehow held a coke can upside down with just his palm and poured a glass without the can falling). The food was overall incredible (I ordered the Ravioli w/ ricotta è spinach). The staff are all friendly and the ambience in the restaurant is wonderful. The truth is that this restaurant is an absolute treat. The friendly staff who will make you feel at home and suprise you with neat little tricks like holding a drink upside down with their palm while they pour. The food here is incredible, theyve got fresh ingredients and are always willing to make any accomodations to your meal. The ambience is wonderful, the restaurant is spick and span. The meals come put together beautifully like a piece of art and each flavour coming through to create an incredible meal that all 6 of us enjoyed.

Really enjoyed my meal of lamb chops, waiter very helpful and good service. Two criticisms. We had a table for two but way too close to the other tables. Could clearly hear conversations on both sides of our table - not pleasant and lacked any sense of intimacy. Second criticism - no cheeseboard. Would have rounded off the meal perfectly as had no desire for a desert.

Booked this restaurant lastnight for my son's birthday celebration. We ordered Calzone, which was very large. Wow, but we managed to eat it all and was told we were the first to do so, despite my son not being hungry at all. Will definitely go there again even though we were interrupted by noisy children. We visited Punto’s on Friday evening as a family of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. We live locally so had been keeping an eye on the recent renovations! I know a restaurant review should not depend on the decoration however, this place now looks amazing. We loved all of the little touches, such as the wine racks on the wall and the amazing light features. We sat in a booth which was so spacious and lovely to sit around a round table instead of the usual rectangle tables you find in so many restaurants. The staff were faultless, from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant we were looked after. Great hospitality for a local restaurant and completely unexpected. Again, the attention to detail from the staff makes this place a great local find. They served the children’s food with our starters so they weren’t waiting without us even asking for this. We were also treated to a magic trick that the kids were mesmerised by...We all tried (and failed!) to recreate it! As someone who is gluten free I usually avoid Italian restaurants and the food is heavily gluten based. Luckily this restaurant caters for gluten intolerant diners like myself. Gianni checked once I had ordered if I was coeliac as the pizzas are cooked in the same oven, again fantastic service. Once my pizza arrived I had to double check that it was in fact gluten free as it was the most delicious gluten free pizza base that I have eaten. Between us for our starters we ordered both the meat and vegetable anti pasti platters, garlic bread, focaccia and calamri. I have attached a photo of this as the portions were unbelievable for the price. For our mains we ordered some pasta dishes as well as the sea bass. We eat out regularly, both locally and in town, and we were extremely impressed by the taste of the meals as well as the quality of the ingredients. Punto’s has vastly improved since its renovations and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great meal for a great price. Thank you to all of the staff for making this a meal to remember. We will definitely be back.

Food 5*** -Restaurant was cramped The facilities were very good. Would've easily given it 5 stars but I Was not happy with where we were seated. There was alot of us, there for an event and I don't believe it was handled that great. That being said, I would go back, this time with a smaller group.
