Reviews of Quaglino's

Had the set menu which cost only £45 which is very reasonable for the great quality food. Everything was extremely tasty and though the portions don't look massive they are definitely filling. It was my wife's birthday so we were given a table right up front by the stage and they even brought a macaroon with a candle on it as a special treat for her. We saw Ash Minor play live and he was great, the music wasn't too loud and having a live band play was awesome. Would definitely come here again! Food we tried which were all extremely delicious - roasted parsnip veloute, honey and whiskey glazed salmon, gnocchi, duck breast, dark chocolate marquise and a chocolate and orange lava cake

This place was an absolute vibe. You get the sort of 20's speakeasy but done in a very unique and modern way. Live music on offer is always great to drive the point home, this is an entertainment space. Cocktails are amazing with a plethora of premium spirits and the barpeople are amazing at translating your requests into beautifully crafted drinks.

I was at Quaglino’s with my sister and niece as part of a girls’ weekend.
As they were visiting London from Leeds, I decided to take them to Quaglino’s due to the Saturday night live band. It did not fail to disappoint.
The restaurant has a certain decadence to it and is rather lavish. It definitely has a Great Gatsby feel to it, which added to the overall ambience.
As soon as we were seated we were looked after by a lovely waitress. The food was excellent, with a wide and varied menu. We all opted for the salad and Gnocchi. The drinks menu proved a success regarding cocktails.
The atmosphere the whole evening was buzzing and the live band were simply incredible. Everyone was up dancing and having a great time.
I would highly recommend Quaglino’s, especially if you are celebrating something.

We visited Quaglino’s during the week and had the set menu with glass of bubbly.
I had the parsnip veloute, duck breast main and chocolate marquise dessert and all of them left me wanting seconds.
Accompanied by soulful covers performed live. It was a wonderful experience. Outstanding service from the whole team, from the cloakroom team to the bar staff.
The decor is wonderful and has a very authentic golden age 1920s, singers-on-pianos vibe.
Highly recommend for an intimate date or gathering with close friends.

Enjoyed a lovely evening meal at this restaurant. Voting one star less due to the waiting times between when our order was placed and when the drinks and starter menu arrived.
Nice and friendly staff - which perhaps is testament to how packed the place was on a weekday night! The portion of the food served might mean that a top up at McDonald's may be required 😂

I came here for my birthday celebration, and the energy was great soon as I arrived. The staff were friendly and attentive, I enjoyed my cocktails and my meal. Our waiter was so lovely and he made sure we had everything we needed- Our seat was right near the front for the entertainment. The singers and the band were really amazing, we had a lovely night and would come back again.
R. W.
Fabulous. Went for a Christmas party, the food was very good considering there was 16 of us all ordering at the same time. The venison was lovely. What really makes it is the live music , starts off easy listening then gets you into full party mode.
R. D.
Was a birthday treat and was amazing.
Decor is art deco 1920s vibe. You walk down the stairs into the basement restaurant and it is a real wow factor. Food service is speedy and food is gorgeous. Added bonus is the live band who play two sets. Brilliant atmosphere.
Only slight issue is that you only have your table for a set period of time, after that you can sit at the bar where unfortunately they don't serve drinks. So getting a drink is an issue. And waiters won't serve you either. Apart from that wonderful evening.

I used to come here 25yrs ago for lunch... It was my favourite lunch then. It is now my favourite lunch ever. Sat brunch, live music fantastic atmosphere, food really good, bit painful on the wallet but well worth it. Can't recommend it highly enough.. Book now!

Had a fabulous evening with friends on Saturday, loved the live music and the food is very rich, I had the duck, with red cabbage and new potatoes which was delicious. All staff were extremely friendly, a wonderful atmosphere.
G. A.
It was an okay experience. The sirloin steak was definitely one to remember. I was surprised at the portion of food on my plate. Was expecting it to be quite small but to my surprise, i was not disappointed. The live music on the night was very good and made the ambience smooth and relaxing. The interior looked really nice. I don't usually go to places like these but I definitely like how it looked. Would I come back again? Who knows

First time out to a restaurant since restrictions lifted, and had a blast! The serve from the door to when I was seated was amazing and the serve at the table was very good I can't really flaw it, if I was to be picky I like getting to know my waiters, but I do understand it was a busy night. We opted for set menu in advance which I enjoyed every meal loved the prosecco and the cocktails.
The entertainment was great, the singers and the band amazing I had so much fun next time I will hit the dance floor! Haha
And will definitely be back and will try the main menu and more cocktails ☺️
K. H.
As always the food was amazing. This is our come to restaurant for a treat. Such a fantastic place to relax and enjoy fabulous food. The staff are always friendly and polite. Highly recommended

Definitely not a cheap night out, but it took my friend’s breath away as we descended from the cold Piccadilly streets into the opulence of Quags - “I feel like Cinderella!”. Service was great, the restaurant is indeed beautiful, and the food was excellent. My only quibble, and it’s a small one in the grands scheme of things, is that we were still finishing up our wine after 3 courses and were asked to take it back upstairs because the table was needed. We’d only got a couple of glugs left each, and so a more gentle word in the ear to remind me the table would be needed in a few minutes would’ve gone down better. Told you it was a small quibble, but at these prices it’s worth calling out that you’re on the clock and will be asked to move on! Live music was a bit loud for conversation, but it was good and made the night feel even more festive. Recommended, except for slow eaters! 😏
D. E.
Oh my days!! I had THE MOST FABULOUS time here!! The food, the live music.... did I mention the food and the music?!! The drinks were very nice also. You know it's that awesome when you only remember to take pictures after you've cleared your plate.
££ but worth every single penny. If you want to spoil yourself and have a night of amazing fun, food and music, thus is one place to go.
Off to work some extra shifts to plan my next visit!!
K. T.
The food was great. The service was impeccable, the ambiance and location is perfect. But, if you are thinking of going for a nice quiet date dinner to enjoy a good chat, forget it - The music is too loud and you are not able to hold a proper conversation without loosing your voice by the end of the night. You will be shouting and playing lip reading to be able to talk.
B. T.
Spent the evening here on New Years Eve. £220pp for the NYE menu and entry. However the food was absolutely fantastic, the service was great and unobtrusive. The two bands who played were really great and with the meal was definitely worth every penny. Would really like to visit on a 'normal' evening to see how it contrasts. My party of 20 had a really great evening.
B. V. O.
My husband and I dined for our 21st Wedding Anniversary :).
Food was lovely and came very quickly.
Great live singer that we wasn't expecting. Made the night even more special, considering the current climate.
We will definitely go again.
One gripe every time we ordered drinks with our meal, they never came at the same time. I always had to wait awhile for mine.
We were charged for the singer which was fine, would have been nice to be informed this was the case in advance, not just see it on the bill! He deserved the money for sure and hope he got every penny.
All staff we came into contact with were very friendly. Security greeted us with a big smile and asked us to sit in the comfy chairs while waiting for our 🚕.
Expensive for a non Michelin star restaurant but....was worth it.
J. B.
Took a date here and the vibes were great. The live band were excellent, really got the crowd involved. We were sat front row from the band so it made conversation a little difficult at times. Food was tasty, excellent service. I would recommend
S. S.
Felt like I was teleported to a theatrical speakeasy. The atmosphere was fun, as people danced and sang along to their favourite songs. The Juke Joints performed really well.
The food was well presented and tasty.
I highly recommend Quaglino's to friends and family.
A. H.
Decent food but poor service…oysters were great as was the sea bass…the service was a serious let down though. It might be just tonight so hoping to give it another try.
M. T. T.
loved the tea, food, and live music! the staff were friendly and very patient considering I was first to arrive, I had a great time, lovely vibe and great DJ, recommend for dates, hen-do's and birthdays
K. R.
Fabulous venue with a fantastic band for the first part of the evening. Service was rushed and the staff seem to be all over the place; almost too many!
Food overpriced £29 for a bowl of gnocchi! We then told to leave our table after 2 hours so we were given the bill Serviced charge added (standard) music charge? It wax my daughters birthday so they brought over the tiniest macaroon and charged for that too!! All in all I think it here are many more great venues across London and this particular one we will not be re-visiting, which is a shame.
K. P.
Christmas lunch with work colleagues, great venue, would like to visit again for the a la carte menu to great the true experience.
t.
Very surprised at the quality/taste or lack of, of veg dishes.
The risotto has some uncooked bits and for £30 a dish, I would expect to be blown away. I didn’t even think it was good.
Shame! As my friends enjoyed their meats.
Interior was beautiful with the live music.
Was only slight hard to get attention of the waiters for even water.
££££

Great for a dinner date with live music and song. Absolutely amazing interior and ambience. Can be a little noisy inside and chaotic. Food can also be a bit better for the price but overall worth a try.
K. J.
Great place, amazing food, beautiful live music….such a vibe
S. R.
Love this place and the ambience here. Cocktails are great. Staff are friendly.

Quaglino's is a MUST visit restaurant in London, hands down! I have always had a good time here. YES its spenny but it's one spot in London I can say is a WHOLE experience mate! Live music, beautiful interior, great atmosphere and good food! Quags is a ‘feel good’ restaurant for everyone of any age (I really wanna take my mum on a Jazz night and go to one of the Soul Brunches w/ Trevor Nelson).
Shared a bunch of starters and I had the 300g Hertfordshire Beef Fillet £39.00 for my main. It was so lush and filling, I was like DAMNN, I had no stomach for dessert.
Make sure to look at the live music performance schedules beforehand to ensure you are dining during the live music slots and know the type of music that will be played.
Oh and remember to get your insta baddie photograph by the beautiful staircase haha!
M. P.
We were lucky enough to have a table for dinner at this beautiful restaurant. All we can say is, AMAZING! There are many restaurants out there but when class and service is required this restaurant has all of it .
We arrived and just fell in love, the welcome, the attention and the ongoing connection with the staff was brilliant.
I found this place amazingly beautiful, the wow factor is everywhere and the show was outstanding.
The service was excellent, especially our waiter Lucas, a truly professional gentleman with a flair for customer satisfaction at its best.
I highly recommend this place.
T. O.
Absolutely loved this place!! Went to treat my boyfriend for his birthday, as he enjoys live music. It was a perfect evening. The service was wonderful. The live music was nice as well. They also have a DJ afterwards. Really lovely place to shake a little leg or two. Will definitely be coming back!!
R. A.
Lovely atmosphere, amazing food, beautiful ambiance and live music. The saffron Risotto, sea bass, Quaglino’s cocktail, ginger bread creme brulee were all great. The only thing is that they didn’t have halal meat. Otherwise it’s perfect. Will definitely go again.
P. A.
Great atmosphere and food as well! We dine there during Christmas Eve and absolutely loved it. Will visit again if in London in the future!
K. K.
Amazing, world class live band (Bel Air band). Chewy, cold rib eye steak with a bland perppercorn sauce. I would definitely visit again but I would eat elsewhere and come here for the music over a drink.
C. J.
First indoor restaurant that I HAD to back to once it was allowed, and it did not disappoint! Classy night of amazing food, wine and live jazz. Thank you to Miriam for her excellent service throughout the night! Definitely recommend this for a special night out 😊
F. D.
Amazing experience.
We had brunch on Sunday, my chicken was good maybe with a little bit of gravy was going to be less dry, the dessert was pure even. Service was just perfect and life music was excellent.
B. C. Y.
It’s always great atmosphere there . But one thing is a bit funny we are going there to celebrate birthday and told the waitress to bring a cake or BD macaroon but the timing and gab to bring it to the table was not good at all we are having a dessert still but they just bring a cake on top of it , it’s just unprofessional. And spoiled all the mood . The food was excellent abut service is too slow . Over all is good
J. N.
Great to be able to get back to this wonderful restaurant. Had the Saturday fixed lunch menu which was good value and provided enough options for us. Staff were great as always. Excellent with a DJ and live saxophonist walking around.
R. H.
Wow what a place. Atmosphere was great and the food was amazing.
The Oysters were some of the best I've had and the steak was out if this world. Service was excellent.
P. C.
The food was fantastic and the floor show was superb but... the service unbelievably needs improved. The tardiness was distracting and really took some of the sheen of the other excellent components of a great night. You don't expect to have to continually chase service in a place like this. But saying that we'll worth a visit
P. Y.
Very plush club with live music to suit an older clientele. Expensive and made for a social media setting, lots of young girls posing for their instagram. Rich setting in Mayfair
A. B.
Beautiful place
Professional staff from doorman, receptionist, security and waiters
Nice live music
Great food
The barman was a gentleman and his service was great
N. C.
Phenomenal night and food! Very high standard to their food!
Z. S.
The restaurant is beautiful the staff were really lovely but they need to cater more for vegetarians but the highlight of the evening was performance by the talented singer by the name of Rosie she was sensational and made our evening so memorable
R. B.
Very good service atmosphere great, beautiful decoration. We will be returning on my next trip!
S. D.
A stunning restaurant perfect for celebrations. I went on a Saturday night and the live band were brilliant and really add to the atmosphere. Drinks were good with any cocktails on offer. Food was lovely but expensive, however seems reasonable considering the surroundings etc.
Highly recommended.
C. E.
Lovely ambience but found it overpriced. Had steak which was overcooked and for 44 quid dry. The manager came and offered another one and gave me a other glass of wine which was great but 24 quid for service charge not sure. It was fantastic to be back in London though
S. G.
Was decent. Good vibes. However, waiting staff don't need to be made to wear a mask. The managers don't. What's different about them?
Looked like a sub class culture. That's not what I expect. Everyone needs to be happy and Comfortable
K. K.
One of my favourite nights out in London. I had a friend who moved to London so I wanted to give her the full experience. Last night was my first time back at Quaglino's since lockdown and we had an amazing night.
The women at the front desk managing check ins were friendly and have turned shield masks in to a fashion accessory. Easily the best dressed Covid-safe staff in London. I appreciated the effort and beauty.
We had a great table near the stage with live music and had the 3 course set menu which is great value. Everything was delicious especially my creamy sea bass main and creme brulee.
As it was a promotion celebration they even brought out a small surprise plate to celebrate this, thanks!
Great attentive service, lively live music and the venue is stunning as always. Highly recommend.
D. F.
Would like to say I enjoyed it but sadly very disjointed with drinks taking to long and then warm wine. The food came at different times and the creme brulee was cold (pre cooked or pre made up horrible). Very lacks for the money sadly all a bit gimmicky. Also charged me for the music 🎶
F. A.
Excellent customer service, perfect ambiance, unique tasting cocktails, live show performances and now the food. The desserts are amazing. Rabbit leg was tasty but I think you need to order a dip to compliment it. Just my opinion. All in all, a perfect 10 and would be returning back soon for maybe a fancy date.

Roxy alit - amazing service couldn’t ever ask for a better or more complimentary service, Went above an beyond at all times throughout the night! The food was fantastic! I wish Michelin star restaurants could be like this place! Thank you to Roxy and all the staff , OUTSTANDING 😘😘😘
T. X.
Went for Sunday brunch with Coco Vegas. Service, music and food was incredible!! One of the best resturants I've been too. £35 for 3 courses with £20 option of wine and the wine is of high standard! Already made a reservation to go again! Fully recommend going!!
V. Z.
Went there for Christmas eve dinner with the wife. Excellent service and a very classy atmosphere.
Food was excellent. It wasn't just served well but tasted delicious too. Thank you.
d. j.
Took my Dad here for his birthday. Lovely restaurant, food and service was great and they had a live band on later which were very good. Little pricey but very nice for a treat
g. c.
Lovely atmosphere. Great food, fantastic music
M. L.
Prices are reasonable if you book for set menu, and taste good. Though live music start from 9pm, if you finish after 9 they charge you 4 pounds per person for music. The live was good so happy ro pay.
E. L.
Always an amazing experience, and I mean experience! It is a sensory treat. Live music, great food, friendly staff- from the door men to the servers
J. L.
I recently came here for an anniversary party, Great place, great atmosphere, live bands were amazing. Unfortunately the food and service we got was absolutely awful. Almost everybody was seriously disappointed. It appeared that a booking was made over the phone with the events coordinator, who took everyone's orders and payments but she apparently never gave the info to the people who were working that night. She wasn't there so nobody got what they ordered, the host of the party ended up helping to serve and had no meal for himself. Seriously deserves a refund. I would come back or drinks and entertainment but not to eat
R. W.
We came here as a group of five for my birthday lunch and it was such a great experience! Staff were so accommodating as soon as we entered. The variety of cocktails were unique and had at least one to please everyone's taste. The dishes were well prepared - the roast beef was clearly a favourite with massive Yorkshire puddings being chosen by all tables, though I was very happy with the seared trout. Live music really raised the atmosphere and our waiter was hilarious! Really appreciate the great time
we had here!
L. H.
Lovely food. Love the decor. Our waited Ricardo was amazing. The live music starts at 9pm. Would go again for sure. 3 course meal and a glass of wine will probably set you back 80 pounds per person.
F. L.
The food was good and the atmosphere and entertainment there was awesome!! The only downside was the service, our server was rushing us and overall quite rude. Really put a damper on the fun we were having. It's a shame because everything else was lovely!!!
T. M.
Lovely venue, lovely food, great music. My only complaint was that we had to ask for the set menu, which we had booked, then when paid they charged the weekend rate nit the mid week rate that was displayed on entrance to the venue. Then to gave a further added charge for the singer. This was advertised all in. A little annoying but over all good.
j. p.
One of the most talked about restaurants in town, in the heart of the Mayfair. Only renovated last year, incorporate a large basement dinning area, funky bars on two levels, a live stage and private dinning rooms. The food in general were great, unfortunately, on the day of our visit, one of the dishes we ordered wasn't to the standard we were expecting. Cocktails and wine selections were fab, staff were friendly and the place is ideal for date or business meetings, it will make you say 'wow'.
C. B.
Really good experience. Great food atmosphere and bands were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed it
K. P.
My favourite restaurant in London - absolutely incredible ambience, performers, food and service! I come here to celebrate every occasion - birthdays, anniversaries and when we bought our first home! :-) thank you Quaglino’s for always delivering. Love this place too much.
M. A.
What a place birthday lunch. Lovely atmosphere, food nice and live band playing R&B tunes on point. Definitely recommend a visit. Sunday lunch was 👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Roxy was very attentive 👌🏾
J. T.
Absolutely fantastic lunch here - Thank you to the BEST waitress I have ever had in my life called Roxanna ❤️ You are EXCELLENT at your job and made us feel so valued and special ❤️
R. B.
Decent cocktails and interesting atmosphere. However, the staff are a little bit rude.
J. T.
Used to love this london landmark but its gotten a little 'mainstream' lately. Service the last few times wasn't the best and found it very expensive.
Having to queue to get up the stairs because so many instagram girls getting photos - little annoying.
Nonetheless the band are fantastic as always.
V. J.
My husband decided to book this restaurant for a Sunday lunch after reading some reviews and it was just perfect. Bit on the pricey side but the quality of food and service is fantastic. We specifically booked lunch at 1.15pm so that we would have the live band to eat lunch to and it was amazing. My husband is already talking about our next visit. I would definitely recommend for any celebration or just a lovely meal out- it's an experience when the live band is playing.
If you say it's a celebration when you book they do something special, for us it was an extra dessert, it was a very nice touch. They do have deals like 2 course for £30 or three courses for £35 and free flowing bubbly for £22 so everyone is happy.
M. H.
We visited Quaglino's for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. I mentioned that in the online booking and asked for a table closer to the stage. When we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and prepared our table on time for the booking. We were delighted when we were eventually led to a table directly in front of the stage. The service was attentive, the food very good and we enjoyed the live music by Atila and his jazz band. In the end, they surprised us with a dessert treat and personal congratulations, which was especially nice as I did not explicitly asked for it. We had a great evening and recommend Quaglino's not only for the beautiful venue, but the whole experience.
J. M.
You get a real 'wow' factor when you step inside and admire the staircase, bar area and stage. My beetroot starter was amazing, completely faultless. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for my main which was a very salty risotto. I did say to the waitress and she said she would tell the chef.
Everything felt very rushed, which I do appreciate on a Saturday night they are very busy however this place isn’t cheap and therefore a rare treat. All the staff were constantly running around and you felt pressured to hurry up because they wanted your table asap for the next customers.
We managed to get a seat at the bar only to be told we couldn’t order a drink!!! After we were asked to move from our table we weren't advised you could only order drinks from your table – nowhere else. This made the music charge hard to swallow as the band sounded great but we were unable to stay and enjoy them.
E. S. (.
Went for Sunday lunch as part of the Soul Sunday series, it was absolutely amazing. Food was really good, bottomless bubbles or wine all for a really reasonable price. The live music was exceptional and the overall atmosphere was better than I could have imagined it would be. Highly recommended.
S. S.
SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!
Took my wife here for her Birthday, it was a Saturday and Belair were performing that night. We had an absolutely brilliant experience. The atmosphere and ambience was on point. Food was delicious and the music was just spectacular. If you are into your R&B music then I’d definitely recommend you go on a night when Belair are performing. We caught the end bit of the Trio act just before the Main Band came on. The Main band was brilliant, they had people singing out loud, even getting up to dance. They played Bruno Mars, Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Nelly, Justin Timberlake, Luther Vandross & more. We tried a few things on their menu.
Starters:
1. 10g French Aquatine Caviar - was delicious)
2. Tea Cured Loch Duart Salmon - this was also really good.
3. Cotswolds White Chicken Ballotine - was OK.
Main Course:
1. Herefordshire Beef Fillet with Bearnaise - this was so tender and juicy.
Sides:
1. Pommes Frites
2. Garden Salad
3. Roasted Heritage Carrots with Coriander Cress
All sides were good 👍🏻
Cocktails are also good 👌🏻
Will hopefully go back here again!
A. L. G.
Lovely atmosphere, Carlos at the bar made me to most amazing cocktails I have ever tried with a very attentive service
T. S.
Beautiful place,
We were here on the 8/6/19
Pre-Booked to Celebrate future to be sister-in-law, Group of 12, food was Excellent
Service was fast
Very Small dancing area!!
Only downside was the confusion on our booking of what we had paid for including wine, Embarrassment on they part, As the lady we had confirmed with was not working that night even when shown emails confirmation, an pricing
L. W.
This is where to go for that very chic cocktail. The spirits are so very creative. We loved our barman “Ivan”. He encouraged us to stay for the live music and a bite to eat. We are so happy we did - everything was prepared beautifully from beginning to end!
P. V.
Great atmosphere, amazing food and very friendly staff. The only downside is that they've kicked us out before we had the chance to try our dessert as they needed our table - they should have informed us at the time of the reservation. Apart from that it was all good, make sure you stay to see the performances (from 11pm)
A. L.
Beautiful art deco venue, fantastic food, live music, great service & atmosphere. Highly recommended.
A. D.
It was OK. Toilets need a new look. Food great, drinks service slow, really expensive and staff moving rubbish and coming on duty past us I can say it overall was OK but not amazing 10 of us £1500
K. N.
The sort of place you'd bring someone if you want to impress them. Mayfair institution Quaglino's is rich in history hosting celebrities and even the monarch in the past. Easy to see why. It a big bar/restaurant with private dining areas and a stage for live music performances. Cocktails are incredible and reflects Quaglino's past and food is the finest, showcasing the best of British. Glam up if you want to come here. It's a place for special occasions.
A.
Nice Atmosphere, superb food and cocktail.
If you are looking to spend an evening with someone special this is the right place for you. Quaglino's offer a whole experience from tailored cocktails to fine dining and live high quality music entertainment.
The staff it's very welcoming and very well trained about what the venue can offer.
The waitress help me to chose the cocktail from their wide selection and give me advice on the food. The munus both for the drinks and the food are original and the ingredients are researched and well combined. The food presentation it's superb as the taste.
The timing it's impeccable and the space it's well organised to devide the dancing area to the restaurant in the late evening.
T. I.
Didn't enjoy my starter but did enjoy my main, desert & cocktail.. staff were welcoming & respectful. The live music was decent!
M. T.
Was here for an event in one of the private rooms. The dinner was really nice & the restaurant was stunning. Great spot for going on a date but it is pricey. However it is in Mayfair so only to be expected.
p. d.
We came today for the weekday set menu - first praise to tapiwa the pastry chef he was and is amazing ! Service was amazing ! The cocktails were amazing ! The value for money is amazing I can’t even give enough praise .... I’ve left full and happy as hell // side note my boyfriend is fussy and would much prefer nuggets and chips! and doesn’t have a broad palate but he tried new things and enjoyed every bit of it
L. L.
Quaglino's was first opened in 1929 and as you step into the restaurant, the recreation of the decadence of that era certainly hits you!
The hustle and bustle, live music and the glorious staircase. The service is attentive, there are two bars and if you don't mind me saying, this place is great for people watching.
The modern European food is excellent and the savoury courses are good value for money (I recommend the celariac and beef bourguignon).
I have visited 5 D&D restaurants to date and this is by far my favourite.
(Only thing I wondered was, how would pushchairs and wheelchairs be accommodated).
M. S.
Tasty bunch at a lovely venue. Service was polite & efficient. I had the lunch set menu, Pancakes, Burger & Chocolate dessert. Great place to grab lunch before Pride.

We absolutely loved this place. The decor is stunning and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the live music and the party atmosphere made the whole experience great. My only gripe is that there were alot of added extras on the bill (including a charge per person for the entertainment which wasn't made clear at any point) and so it became quite pricey. The food was good but not mind blowing...very small portions for the price. That aside I would still visit here again
S.
Great music and entertainment! Great cocktails and wine too.
Food was a let down unfortunately - tuna tartare had a bad smell and taste (clearly not fresh), tough and pre-seared. Salmon was overcooked and cold. Both tiny portions. Left hungry after 3 courses and ate again on the way home.
Staff didnt have a clue about the food and drink on the menu or dietary info. Took 3 waiters to order a coffee. One thought almond milk and oat milk had dairy in it. Another didn't know one coffee from the next. When it arrived after 15 minutes it was stone cold.
No point in staff wearing masks if they are going to be touching them constantly and serving food.

Ok well i was part of a large group so we got the upstairs room.
It was a set menu so like it or lump it.
Weather or not the food choice was quaglinos choice or the person who organised the get together, i do not know.
What i do know and why I've given 3 instead of 5,which i think i would have most likely have done had i been sitting in the restaurant downstairs.
Is that the food for us was bloody awful.
An egg something or other for starter, a burger with no side's, just the burger, never seen that before.
No chips, sorry I'm old school, fires if you prefer.
The best part was the desert. But like i said, most likely i would have given 5 if i were downstairs obviously more choice on the menu, the look of the actual place and the 2 lovely ladies who accompanied the dj from time to time. It's a lovely looking place. Be warned, drinks are very expensive. But your in the heart of London and nothing is cheap in town. So go for the experience, but for god sake don't do that set menu.
It was pants.
K. J.
We had dinner here from the set menu, which is great value for money. The choice of dishes was varied and the food was interesting. Subterranean Art Deco brasserie vibes and if you turn up during the live music it’s a treat.
E. T.
As always had a cracking time on Sunday. Lovely food and music but Lucas really looked after us and made the day even better. Big thanks Lucas!
R. A.
Surprised Dinner at Quaglino's was lovely experience and atmosphere for Monday evening.
B. H.
We were a big group and seated nicely so we could share our evening together. Cocktails and wine were really good, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and attentive
B. K.
Food is good but it’s the atmosphere that makes the place. The bands or singers have been outstanding each time I’ve been.
The service is great , everyone is super friendly. Only reason I gave it 4* is because I found the salmon very pink- but this is personal choice
I. S.
Their Christmas set menu is really unimpressive and didn't really taste anything extraordinary, particularly the artichoke soup and camembert croutons. On this occasion, the Brussels sporuts were so undercooked and crunchy that my colleagues and I couldn't even cut through it let alone get the fork through.
Additionally, the lights are exceptionally dim that you'll require your phone torch to read the menu both at the bar and when seated. Perfect for couples to talk into each others ears over the chatter and music at least. Furthermore, the seating area by the wall for many guests requires everyone to scoot along the seats behind the tables. And be weary of glasses being filled with a mix of sparkling and still water.
However, it is definitively a place you want to go in the late evening for various taster courses,if you're into that, especially for their cocktail drink selection from the bar. The live entertainment was rather lovely to listen to, but difficult to watch when seated so far. Regardless, we enjoyed their performance greatly.
Lastly, a word of warning getting lost in the dark cubicles LOL
M. A.
Great place. But service slow and food when served was cold. However still had a great night
J. P.
Summary: food mostly good but sparse in the beef department, live music was nice and wine glassed filled frequently, but we felt very rushed.
It's disappointing that the potential of the food and music atmosphere was let down by stingy portions of meat and being rushed through the meal.
Long version: we went for the Sunday lunch set menu and free flowing wine. The beef and sauce tasted excellent together, and the beef cut easily as it was tender and well cooked. Half the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the chocolate pudding was gooey, indulgent, and delicious. The free flowing wine we paid for was truly free flowing and we pretty much never had an empty glass.
However, I was disappointed with the amount of beef and I definitely could have done with another slice. Half of the potatoes were a little hard and not as tasty - I'm really not after pot luck potatoes.
During the meal we felt very rushed. The staff were attentive in that they cleared our plates (literally as soon as I put my knife and fork down the waiter just swooped in which was quite a surprise!) and they did their job, but they always seemed focused on something else and rushing around whilst doing it, and not giving time for us to ask for anything else etc. It lacked geniune customer focus and care.

A really beautiful venue with Jazz most days from 9pm and a very upmarket feel. The prices of the set menus (available some days) are surprising, and the portions are right on the mark - but the quality of the food is nothing all too exceptional. The service is better than average but nothing special. We paid around £30 for drink and 2 courses with service, which is really good value for the venue and jazz alone - the band are superb. It's a romantic place, however the jazz makes it hard to talk as it's quite loud. Overall I'd recommend it for the set menu, but I wouldn't rave about it.
H. M. L.
The food and atmosphere was amazing, the live music too! Staff were super kind and sweet! Will definitely recommend for a date night!
Towards end of the evening Uber keeps getting cancelled a member of staff was kind enough to allow me waiting for the cab to arrive thank you Giovanni (sorry if I spelled the name wrong)

Excellent night had by all at Quaglinos for a birthday meal. The dining room has maintained the wow factor from Conran days. The bar area is plush with a special occasion feel. We had the Evening Standard 3 course set menu which was excellent value. We noted that many of the dishes could be found on the a la carte menu. Of particular note was the watercress veloute and the rump of lamb was tender and delicious. On top of this we had live music. Fab night out.
J. P.
Amazing, cosy, warm welcome - step back in time join jazz club sessions - with modern music, food and cocktails thrown in too!
R. R.
Great location. Setting is spectacular, and there was live music when we visited. Fantastic service. Good food.
D. B.
Fantastic food, beautiful atmosphere, without the pretence. Not particularly cheap but what a meal. Attentive service, we were well looked after. Recommend the cheese selection. Try and go when some live music is scheduled for an atmospheric buzz.
D. C.
It is a huge space and very unassuming... it looks like a grand ballroom.. had a set menu 3 course, starters and main was good. The cremebrule not so much. The caramilised sugar had a bitter after taste. Service was prompt and staff polite
J. D.
I attended for an event and the staff were so friendly. The venue is warm and inviting and I can't wait to go back.
S. K.
Steep prices for the food (you have to order starter, main and side to make a filling meal) but the cocktails are definitely worth the money! The grandeur inside is breathtaking and the not too disruptive jazzy music all together makes it a great place to have a fancy night out, where you can actually listen and talk to people next to you.
S.
Love this place everytime i visit food is always great and service is impeccable. Live music can be too loud if you want it to be romantic but otherwise you can have music while you eat.
P. C.
What an amazing place. Revisited after almost 30 years for a lovely birthday lunch. Food was delicious, had a really chilled lunchtime vibe and can’t wait to go back! Loved it!! 🥰
P. K.
Very nice and a comfortable place to have a friends/family get-together. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Very good range of cocktail to try and a impressive/gastronomic food options. They did have a live music performance, which adds life to the place.
S. T.
Over stated. Reasonable food. Good service and nothing extraordinary about it. For similar prices, there are better venues to try in London.
A. A.
Very lovely destination with a good selection of tasty dishes but the portions are too small. Love the desert.
The entertainment was ok and the ambience of the place extremely pleasing.

Decided to redo my review on this little gem as I didn't give it enough credit, or give u guys enough info....
We were at Quaglino's for my mother in laws birthday, I up until this point was unaware of this place, from the moment I walked in I was impressed, they were very welcoming, took everyone's coats and hung them up, the stairs leading down gives you a good view of the establishment, the decor is very classy, it has a New York 1950's era feel about it, the live music is the beating heart of this place, the band playing all genres of music but with a jazz/soulful overtone, it was perfect. The service was a* and the food was very impressive, from the soup started to the main dish, everything was presented well, not huge portions by any means so you Toby Carvery eaters who like a full plate of food be prepared to go home hungry or eat a little before, lots of lovely drink and cocktails, the bottomless wine deal is dangerous, they literally fill your glass every chance they get (those stairs I mentioned earlier are a challenge on the way out), one food is consumed everyone is up on there feet dancing to the band, great atmosphere, and the best part of all, all this was happening and it was only 2pm, marvelous.
I will be going again for sure when Covid is out of our lives and we can socialise like human beings again.
V. B.
Fabulous dining experience... attentive staff... exquisite champagne, wine and food. An excellent Vesper Martini
m.
The atmosphere is great, it's got an upscale speakeasy kinda vibe (this does mean it's loud which I don't mind). The drinks were sumptuous, the entertainment was fabulous and the staff were wonderful. The salmon starter I had was flavourful and the complimentary birthday sorbet they gave me was rich and tangy. So why 3 stars? My main meal (chicken) was only okay. Wasn't particularly flavoursome and verging on the dry side. And the beef that my sister hd suffered from the same problem. The 2 people who ordered dessert were also somewhat disappointed. If I were paying full price I would've been more annoyed but I went with the evening standard set menu. I'd go back to the bar and if there were another offer try something else on the menu to give Quaglinos another chance to win me over.
A. T.
Great vibe, great food and great service.

Fabulous Venue to hold an event.
My Gaming Table Fun Casino Hire supplied casino tables for an event here.
The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly.
K. B.
2nd time visiting for a special occasion! We love this place, the food is amazing but the service really let it down this time from the moment we were 'greeted' at the desk!
It was not worth the £104 service charge, and I was disappointed to learn we were then charged £5pp to remain seated at the same table we'd just had dinner, for the rest of the night!
A.
I went there for Christmas 'eve with my family, it was amazing! Great food, great service, great ambiance, great music, will definitely recommend!
D. W.
Enjoyed the generous and tasty seafood of the signature "Quaqlino's" cocktail then a good ribeye, fries and some spinach. Attentive, friendly service. If you like dinner-and-a-show this lively haunt is a good choice. Live act starts at 9pm.
B. L. U.
Really enjoyed my evening here.
Went to celebrate my friends graduation and a general girls night out.
It was amazing the food was lovely and the band was awesome.
Loved how the band played notorious b.i.g and luther vandrous....we had an awesome evening.
J. C.
If you want a special treat, this is the place to come. High quality food, without being over formal, great ambience and fantastic live entertainment. Will definitely go again
A. K.
Fantastic atmosphere as it was near Xmas time. The service and food is first class, very nice experience.

Ok...this is a beautifully decorated venue. The staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable. I arrived before my date and decided to order a dirty dirty vodka martini. Wow, was I surprised. It was magnificent! The food was delicious but the main course portions we're so small. I ordered the swordfish which was cooked perfectly. I guess one is expected to fill up on the generous sides which are large enough for two so choose several and share. We had an issue with a bottle of wine which had gotten to warm and tasted like vinegar. The waiter kindly replaced it with another bottle immediately. My date and I are foodies and know what we like and definitely know the difference between good and bad wine. So just to be clear. My low rating score is due to the small portions nothing else. Just try to eat by 7pm to prevent from raising voice over loud music that starts at 9 or 10pm.

Beautiful Art Deco style interiors, delicious food, and good service.
Quaglino’s is an establishment, and feels like a hidden gem – you enter through a relatively small door, descend some stairs, and are greeted by very welcoming staff.
The bar is great for a pre-dinner cocktail. Even those on dry January won’t be disappointed – the bar staff are very accommodating. And the accompanying nuts are just the best!
Once you’re ready to eat, you’re shown the restaurant – which is vast – yet unintimidating.
The service is fast (almost too fast at time – our mains came about 30 seconds after we were done with our starters), but aside from that, the staff were friendly and attentive.
Desserts are a must if you have room – the creme brûlée was perfect.
For a date night or a special evening of any kind, Quaglino’s won’t let you down.
R. W.
My wife and i had a nice Saturday night anniversary dinner, thanks. What let the side down was the constant face mask adjustment by the waiting staff. It is very unhygienic to keep touching your face, especially when the masks appear to be fabric in design. The amount of perspiration is obvious because on more than one occasion, i saw the wine glass manager wipe down either side of his nostrils with his fingers. I think that anyone who is prepared to come out and eat and is prepared to sit in a large room with other diners has acknowledged the fact that they might make themselves more vulnerable than if they stayed at home, so wearing a mask by the waiting staff wont make too much difference.
And the other thing I didn't like was the waiter was happy to take my cash to pay the bill but said he cant give me any change (because he cant handle cash)
K. K. N.
Great jazz bar and restaurant with nice touches to the decor giving it a very retro feel. Amazing drinks and good food with awesome entertainment that's nice background music during the meal, later turning into lively diner sing a long with popular old schill tunes! Had a great time 👍

Overall great value | Entertainment - Fantastic | Food - good | setting - luxurious | staff - a mix of friendly & professional
Attended on Wednesday evening 30th Sept after a recommendation from RIAH Events Planners.
Entertainment was just cracking. The whole band had a great presence. The singing was brilliant, effortless and yet filled with passion and enthusiasm. I really enjoyed the stream of new & old hits covered. Her voice complimented every song.
Food was very good. We had the 3 course set menu for £38, reduced to £30 for a special Sept deal. Excellent excellent value with the reduction. My onion truffle veloute (soup) starter was something special and full of delicious tastes; my dining companions found their salmon starter just nice, but not mind blowing. I tasted theirs and it was enjoyable but I was glad for my amazing soup.
The main, pumpkin risotto, was lovely with interesting seasoning and great textures. Not your standard risotto dish, by any means. Again, my companions enjoyed their Seabreem main but said it was nothing to rave about.
Desserts - I rarely say this about a restaurant but the desserts stole the show (I'll upload photos)! They were well thought out with a variety of textures and flavours to explore. The shortbread and apple fromage was inspired and like nothing I've sampled elsewhere.
I found myself disappointed with my cheese plate, wishing I'd chosen one of the same desserts eaten by my companions. Mine lacked the imagination and creativity that was so obviously present in the other dishes. That said, who doesn't love a slab of quality goats cheese with some delicious chutney and a couple of biscuits. Overall I wasn't going to complain when the entire meal, plus a delightfully refreshing glass of sparkling wine, cost only £30 each! Really incredible value.
The art deco setting was gorgeous, photos included. I honestly couldn't have wanted for more. Perfect warm lighting, spacious with high ceilings but not echoey or cold. Just perfect. The setting is a other thing that just makes it such fantastic value for money, even at the original price of £38. Stunningly designed. I'm no interior design expert, but clearly someone knew what they were doing!
The staff were lovely and friendly whilst professional. However, the service felt disorganised and chaotic, as though they were understaffed. Plus, I lost count of the number of different staff that served us. Personally, I prefer a more streamlined experience but on the plus side, it did show me that all the waiting staff were pleasant and had that perfect friendly / professional balance. So a big thumbs up for the individual staff members.
Well done if you made it all the way through this review.
K. C.
Music was great and i enjoyed my evening. The food needs a bit more attention. The waiter wasnt happy with me asking him to change my dish as the seabass was full of fishbones and miso sauce tasted like a dirty water without flavor, the dish lack a flavor. I changed to lamb dish and the sauce was too salty, no vegetables just meat with sauce on the plate. The food needs more attention and balance the flavor. I like the place and the music but menu needs an upgrade.
D. C.
Amazing place!! .. great staff.. high quality service from the bar staff . 6*
A. T.
Went here on a Saturday night and first of all the food was great; I enjoyed every single thing I ordered and it was worth the cost. As if that wasn't enough, the ambiance and the live music was exquisite, it was a dinner like none other and we had so much fun being there. Highly recommend if you're looking for a night more special than your usual quiet dinner and the food does not disappoint.
A. O.
Loved the place! Great service, great music, very good food. Recommend!
T. K.
Very nice decor. Lounge area on the top floor as you walk in open to the restaurant.
You will go a stair down to the restaurant with a long bar in the middlee.
They have live music daily. I went on Friday and was an excellent show.
The food is not gourmet but tasty. I gave it 4 stars for this reason. Otherwise a 5 star restaurant for being the friendly service, decor and great music show.
Price is very reasonable for such venue standard.
I recommend it highly especially for solo traveler like me. I enjoyed a nice meal in a superb atmosphere and lovely singer!
V. V.
We were there with the Metro offer of two courses plus glass.of wine for £20 so couldn't go wrong. Nice meal, though atmosphere was a little lacking with our early timed meal.
K. B.
Our first night in London and what better way to begin than having dinner at Quags. Friendly and professional service, food was amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant oozed class and sophistication without been pompous. Highly recommend it.
P. H.
A great experience. Private dinning rooms overlook the main restaurant, bar and entertainment providing privacy without feeling claustrophobic. Food was excellent.
L. M.
Customer services and food absolutely amazing . From when I walked into the restaurant the scenery and decor was breathe taking.Every staff member was really nice and friendly which made our experience really good. The live band session was incredible. I would definitely recommend all my friends and family here. This is on my top 5 favourite restaurants now. Thanks you for a great experience.
B. E.
My favourite restaurant in London. The art decor style is a joy to behold, the ambience is superb and the food divine. The staff are friendly and attentive and a credit to the restaurant. I would reccomend this to anybody looking for a special dining experience.
A. R.
Loved this place! Came with some girlfriends and had the best time! Service was on point, drinks and food are top notch, atmosphere and interior design is beautiful, very grand! Instantly became one of my favourite spots to hang out in London.
M. M.
Lovely food, very busy so service was slow and we were all cramped on to a table that was too small for our party. Having booked we were at first asked to split 4 of us onto a separate table then cramped into a table for10 when we had 14 in our party.
T. B.
been there a few times but his time i felt compelled to write a review as the band that played , Otty's quartet was the best we've heard there.
Really REALLY good musicianship , and the singers voice was truly spectacular.
I would go there just for the steak tartare alone, one of the best i've had.
Special mention to a waiter whom I'd thought had left , but was pleasently surprised to see him return, his name is Amarinto and he he's very attentive and always serves with a smile!
see you soon Quaglino's team!
J. D.
Amazing setting great atmosphere entertainment was especially great. Although shame we were rushed from our table to sit at the bar otherwise it would be a 5 star review

A number of years since I last visited this wonderful restaurant which has not lost any of its charm and still manages some glamour! Great attentive and friendly service from Reka, Diego and Forbio.

Nice food, careful about the time you make your reservation, after 1 hour and a half you will be asked to move from the table

One of the top places in London where you get amazing food n drink.and entertainment is first class.
H. R.
What a place, it was buzzing. Party atmosphere, live music and dancing...oh and throw in excellent food.
b. v.
Great place, food and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the live music.

It is difficult to review Quaglino's- I always have a fantastic time here, but I only remember the company rather than the establishment. I think overall this gives a great impression of the staff- they make the evening seamless, and so you have great memories.
The drinks menu here was a bit strange- including ingredients such as a "Jasmine air" and my friends' drink arrived in a shell which was difficult to drink without spilling. My bog standard G&T however couldn't be faulted, and the staff were impeccable.
m.
An absolutely incredible experience.
P. C.
I have been here twice and both times was magical. What a great addition to the london scene! Dinner and jazz ! Wow. It’s contemporary jazz too with actual good singers. I really recommend this place for work end of week dinner. Lively atmosphere and start to the weekend. Staff are lovely food is great and the price is worth it.
M. D.
We went there yesterday for a birthday celebration. We had a fantastic time. The staff were really really nice and very attentive. The food and drinks were superb! We really liked the band that was playing. It did cut short at 10pm due to the pandemic restrictions, but nonetheless it was an amazing night. I strongly recommend.
h. s.
Top place with top food and top entertainment, if you're a penny pincher then it's not the place for you
S. K.
Visited for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend. We loved Live Jazz gig with amazing food. Perfect for visiting to celebrate special day.

Nice atmosphere, but food... looks ok but not tasty

I was working there for a party. Very beautiful place. And very polite staff. I would come back for sure to try the food.

Best afternoon ever!!! The Soul Jets were amazing and our waitress Miriam was just the best 👍❤️💙
G. B.
Fantastic as always. Great ambiance, great food and quality service.
D. K.
Great food. Lovely ambience. The bottomless brunch is well priced especially as there was good quality prosecco.
We are both vegetarian and there were many options, even for vegans.
The staff were helpful and the team have made an active effort to maintain social distancing regulations.
J.
The venue was big and amazing. Drinks were way too expensive, a single gin and tonic costs £14. But superb service, free cloak room as well.
J. M.
Superlative cocktail quality, if you have good taste, try the Derby or the Brooklyn form the prestige signature. And the staff is adequate to the venue
W. E.
Service was amazing the staff were fabulous the chef kindly came out and welcomed us after our meal. Will be returning very soon
L. W.
The food was delicious, although other than the starter not visually impressive, the staff were very attentive, sadly I wouldn't revisit the restaurant at lunch time as there was little to no atmosphere as we were practically the only diners visiting, which was a shame.
A. D.
Amazing private dining experience with great food and extensive attention to detail over food intolerances.
J. T.
Very expensive, but the food and service is second to none. We go every month.

Dramatic decor, very nice service and a tasty and reasonably priced Sunday lunch menu.
I. A.
Are you looking for fun and elegant environment? Quaglino’s has an awesome service, live music, and great cocktails.
The food is delicious, and it’s one of those bars/restaurants where a person can truly enjoy a Saturday night. 💯
I really miss Quaglino’s can’t wait to come back.
C. M.
Fantastic night with live jazz band. Amazing food and vibes. Felt luxe, food was expensive, and service by staff was A*. Already planning my next night out with my girls here 🙌🏽
I. L.
Loved it! Great live show and great food
C. Ö.
Beatiful venue, amazing cocktails with premium ingredients like truffle!
J. M.
Whole atmosphere is great, live band etc but food is ok
E. C.
A pleasant place with a great service! The stylistic arrangement is a bit of a throwback in time making you feel a part of the movie 😉👌

Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Nice private room for hire.
D. N.
The truffle risotto and the mushroom soup were incredible! Their mocktail was also delicious!
C. T.
Great food. Fantastic wine. Friendly waiters and waitresses. Very attentive without interfering with our party. My wife and I think it's one of those restaurants where you'll have a great time no matter how often you visit. The bar serves amazing cocktails coupled with live music on certain nights. Highly recommend!
E. H.
Live band and beautiful decor had me loving this place before even sitting down. Staff was friendly, vibe was lovely and more importantly the food was excellent.
S. “. M.
Great venue the food was good and the live band excellent the staff are wonderful really fantastic afternoon
b.
Cost perfromance index is low. Food was very delicious and really nice atmosphere. Two points I did not like. One is the lady who is serving us kept reminding us the time from the beginning. We felt rushed and uncomfortable as she was keep coming to our table. Second one is live music was too loud, we had to shout to be able to speak. Normally I know people could dance and have fun there but due to covid it wasn't allowed so they could decrease the volume a bit so we could talk to each other at least.
S. N.
An amazing experience. Everything a restaurant should be; somewhere to have a drink before, attentive staff, excellent decor, good music, and above all, superb, unpretentious-but-excellently-crafted food.
M. D.
Beautiful decor and stunning venue. My most recent experience was on a Sunday, we opted for the roast and bottomless option. Food was decent and the staff were more than generous with topping up our glasses. I had so much fun - the live singer was also great! :-)
E. S.
Amazing!! Boyfriend chose the place for a surprise anniversary dinner and it was an amazing experience from the start to very end. 10/10!
C. Z.
I love this place every time great service. However this time we waited very long time for our food to arrive. We eat only bread for very long time. The waiter was very kind but I can see that he felt very embarrassed because of the food being so late. We was 6 people I believe we waited for more then 4h for 3 course dinner. I hope you will make bigger team so nobody will wait that long...
M. J.
loved the venue! super attractive. Amazing food, well prepared, presented and tasty. Huge drinks selection, differentiating from other venues in the offerings. Service was mostly good with some blips but the model is right for the style. On the high end price side but still good for a special occasion
J. S.
Genuinely the best birthday dinner I've been gifted. Our waitress Antonia was super lovely and even brought me a little birthday macaroon at the end. Highly reccomend for anyone who want to treat a friend or even themselves.
I hope to return soon!!

This place feels like it’s trading on its rep a tiny bit. Food and drinks were good (lamb was delicious) but something about the atmosphere feels a bit, I don’t know, touristy? Maybe it was something to do with them needing to have more space between tables or something, not sure. Also, the music was WAY too loud. It’s not a bad place but feels a bit pricey for the experience.
J. S.
A great ambiance and the live music is a lovely touch. The wine selection is very good and the food was quality.
However, as good as the bar staff were (especially their wine connoisseur), I found the staff in the dining area to be stretched thin (even when quiet) and to the standard of Pizza Express or worse.
M. A.
As usual amazing food .service. ambience plus delightful music to accumpunant your lunch 👌👌👌only wish we didnt have to travel from Wales each time to attend !!!!
A. d. S.
Excellent food and service, lovely ambience but the band was shocking. At one point the singer asked the dinners to 'cheer me up'! Extraordinary! He obviously misunderstood his job and thought that we were there to entertain him. We ordered a £40 bottle of wine and arrived home to realise we had been charged £54. Disappointing.
K. M.
Art Deco affluent atmosphere keeps going during the lockdown period and they really make you feel good. Great food and selection of drinks. Sunday live music resumed end August and it's a lovely place to be.
H. T.
We had a lovely night here. The welcome was formal.but friendly and we were shown to our table immediately. The service was excellent and the staff were accomodating and efficient. The food was delicious (rib-eye and risotto). We had a bottle of wine recommended by the sommelier and it was perfect. A space at the bar was reserved for us after dinner so we could watch the live music with pudding and whisky. The ambience was lovely and the clientele were very varied and interesting. All in all we spent about £250 for two people and had an excellent night.
n.
Reception staff where amazing having to change our table with out a problem and very welcoming.
Waiting staff could of been more attentive. Genral experience was good.

What a fabulous evening we had this Saturday. Lovely welcome. Delicious and stylish cocktails. Very efficient and friendly service and delicious oysters and food. It was lovely to have the cheeseboard brought to the table. The restaurant was buzzing and busy with a great atmosphere but service remained excellent and genuine. We can't wait to go again.

We visited Quaglino's for the second time to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. I mentioned that in the online booking and asked for a table close to the stage and entertainment. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and prepared our table on time for the booking along with champagne which I pre ordered. I was amazed when we were led to a table directly in front of the stage. The service was attentive, the food very great and the live music amazing. In the end they surprised us with a dessert treat which was especially nice as I did not explicitly asked for it. We had a great evening and recommend Quaglino's not only for the beautiful venue, but the whole experience.

It's ok...has the look and feel of am amazing place but just lacks a certain feel to make it one. I went for dinner with some friends and even though we had booked a table, had to request to be seated. Food was $$$ and really not worth it. Lacked flavour and presentation and simply not what I would call fine dining. Service was hit and miss, more on the miss side. On the positive side, great atmosphere and very pretty place. Easy and convenient to get too. Warning, creepy porter's )guys who open and close the doors for you), one was making kissing sounds when I exited the restaurant and asked if I wanted to go for a swim?! It was 1 degree Celsius outside!

Fab venue, food and staff. The set menu had few, but good options, and the food was brought out with good pauses between courses. The food was delicious and good sized portions. The evening band were great. They were not overpowering, so we could still chat over some tasty cocktails!
M.
The best venue to dinner and dance with live music.
4 star because of the food and service is not the best.
K. T.
Wonderful atmosphere, great cocktails made with an artistic flare and passion. Great, live background music...we're going back again soon to eat.
n. s.
Had a great time, the music and food was good. my only criticism would be that we had to wait for a long time to receive our table even though we got there on time.
H. A.
Stunning restaurant serving excellent food and very attentive servers! Beautiful experience *****
J. B.
The staff are friendly and attentive, the food was delicious along with a great atmosphere. A superb evening was had by all, topped off by a wonderful performance by OKIEM who is the most amazing pianist and singer.
K. G.
Celebrated my mothers 70th surprise Birthday with family and friends. It was a memorable event for my mother complimented by the food and the performances of the live jazz bands.
Prices were reasonable from the lunch offers. Please note there is a charge per person for the performances which we were not made aware of. There was a slight overcharge of £50 however the team rectified this upon careful checking of the receipt (hence the four star review instead).
Great ambience and excellent service overall. Food was nice with some dishes being hit and miss.
P. D.
Delicious food and fantastic music.

Fantastic food, service and decor. Recommended!
R. B.
Lovely food and lovely atmosphere. The singer was amazing!

We went here for my sisters birthday party and quite frankly it felt like something out of the movies! The food was astonishing, the atmsphere was very classy. The staff were all very friendly and professional! Its a place to definitely try atleast once. I vey highly recommend it.
B. A.
Incredible atmosphere, singer was amazing and also incredible food! Totally recommended!
J. H.
Love the brunch here. Perfect for fun loving couples and groups. Solid cocktail menu, dj spinning some decent tunes and attentive but not rushed service. The burger is tasty and substantial. The steak was cooked just to my liking. Serious chips and my favourite cherry/choc combo for dessert. Stop 1 on an endless afternoon, but the laid back party vibe is great for getting everyone in high spirits! Not overly expensive for a London restaurant.

I wanted to feedback that we had the best time on Saturday night.
Staff, venue and atmosphere always delights.
It exceeded all our expectations and the bar men on the front bar were excellent, as were the band. They played jungle book which incidentally was my parents wedding song and it was an anniversary celebration so it was incredible. Thank you and see you soon.
v. m.
Beautiful and exotic place. Had a Christmas/surprise party here and the deco was outstanding. Good music, great selection of food but you have to pay a bit more than usual price, all worth it for me. Different rooms to dine in but you would need an early reservation. In my opinion, stay on the floor of you are with friends and really want to enjoy the live band. The customer service at the front desk is superb but can’t really say the same for the overall service. Good place to hang out with friends. I will recommend this place anytime.
A. F.
Quaglino’s where my love and I met three years ago for a drink and the rest is history. We went back on our third anniversary and the place was just as spacious, sumptuous in its lighting and of course the oysters that’s always been our starter.
Sitting at the bar lit by its alabaster top to share some delicious smoked salmon in mini heaps or a specially ornate cod was memorable.
M. N.
I remember this restaurant well way back when David and Peter great lads where on the door . I was the concierge on the apartments 76 Jermyn Street next door . I would let the staff from the restaurant park their cars in the back car park to the side of the restaurant . And I would get invited down to the restaurant. For something to eat & drink ( Happy Days ) even got to see Mel B from the spice girls. What ever happened to David and Peter.? Answers on a postcard
A. C. C.
Live music, and bottomless Prosecco what else could you ask for?
The food it's actually great, and the service splendid. Went to celebrate my Mum's birthday and she had so much fun. 100% recommended!
T. K. -. T.
Excellent atmosphere . Great band. And very attentive waiting staff.
O. G.
Quaglino’s has great food and wine but it’s not about that. The decor is worth the price of the meal. Live music from the stage. Amazing cocktails. The hostess have the best dresses. Every aspect of the experience is memorable
S. A.
One of the best place to get a cool cocktail
J. G.
Great cocktails and food!
Very much enjoyed my meal here and staff were lovely and attentive at all times.
Fresh food and really good portions as well.
Would recommend booking ahead, definitely on a weekend!
Enjoyable, lovely decor and food service, very happy!
M.
Great atmosphere, good food, absolutely beautiful decor and very pleasant staff. Covid Health awareness and distancing is excellent - head temperature at entrance, screens between tables and plenty of hand sanitizer. The only thing that I would mark it down on is that the live music is far too loud for lunchtime, several people nearby were saying the same thing. It meant that we had to shout at eachother across the table, not ideal during Covid times!
N. P.
Amazing Saturday brunch experience! Total party atmosphere!
A. M.
Super food and very good cocktails, BUT THE MUSIC IS A BIT LOUD IF YOU ARE SAT NEAR THE STAGE AND THEY NEVER STOP. Music was a bit cheesy too, but it had the drunken table of ‘ladies of a certain age’ giggling and bobbing about as they tried to flirt with other tables. That was funny to watch I guess.
P. V.
We hired a private room for 14 which was a great experience and something I would recommend for groups.
It was so nice to enjoy the live music yet be able to have our dinner in a private space where we could enjoy each others company and hear each other clearly! It may have been quite noisy downstairs if we were seated right by the live musicians so this was the best of both!
E. R.
I went there with some friends to celebrate a birthday and it was incredible. The space is totally stunning, very elegant. The food was really good and the price is very reasonable(20 pounds 2 courses and a glass of wine). The staff were very friendly and attentive. And not only that, the night we went there was a band playing amazingly. Absolutely recommended place.
N. B.
Service was poor for the price paid, nice venue, nice food, when it eventually came out, disappointed with the service which was sucha shame as I had heard good things but will not be returning!
P. S.
Had a great Soul Sunday lunch. First time back after lockdown and was as excellent as always. Sensible and reassuring Covid measures which didn't detract at all from the first class food, service, and live entertainment. Highly recommended.
G. D.
Fabulous venue! I took my husband here for his birthday and we had a great time. Lovely food, delicious cocktails and amazing live music. They had a live band that put a great show. Highly recommend for date nights, girls night out or if you want to go for drinks and dancing.
P. S.
Excellent, can't fault the place. Large seating area with what appeared to be a couple of other areas for dining as well. Nice bar, while we waited for our table, we were 15 mins early. Snacks on the bar while waiting. Did not like the background music, (Jazz), but nice singer.
Excellent service, had two waiters attending our table, probably because it was early.
Will definitely go there again.
r. s.
Love this place as they always gave us a lovely spot for us to sit. It is one of my favorite restaurants, great food, great decor, great ambience. One of London's finest dining spots. Max and I loved it.
P. P.
Amazing experience with food, service, drinks and the incredible live entertainment. The singer's were fab. The ambience is beautiful and they really cater for gluten free and other dietary requirements. They cook the food without cross contamination and as it was my birthday they even brought a complimentary dessert. Unfortunately there's not much vegan options.
a. p.
Amazing place with outstanding service! The food was exceptional and the music waa great. We def come back!
J. B.
We had 2 courses of the fixed menu, very reasonable and fabulous quality. Including wine. The servers were fun, happy and attentive. Great ambiance. Such good value for the location. You should try it.
F. G.
We had an awesome night here for our work Xmas party in one of the private dining rooms - it was beautifully decorated and overlooked the main bar and stage. The food was well presented and came out at the same time (which is impressive for a table of 20+). The manager Mukta was very attentive and ensured that we had a great time, taking care to confirm dietary requirements etc and taking a few group shots before dinner. Would definitely recommend if you are thinking if having a function or somewhere for a nice dinner and dance.
S. H.
Lovely restaurant, great entertainment and polite and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. On the expensive side but worth the price
T. R.
Fantastic place. Good food good live music
G. T.
Good food, wine and performances. Would definitely come again. The only negative is that they squeeze tables in, our table was practically on top of the till register that blocked the view of everything. Nonetheless, if you get a good table, then it’s great.
M. S.
Fabulous evening spent at Quaglino's for our work Christmas party. Really helpful on the run up to the event and everything went smoothly on the night. Staff and waiters were extremely friendly and helpful, especially our waiter Liam - you were great! And the food and cocktails were delicious. Great live band, excellent DJ and overall exceptional venue in London! Will be back for sure, thank you guys!
R. H.
Average food, 3 star service at 5 star prices.
Not sure if it was just our waiter but the napkins were virtually thrown onto our laps, on a table of 4, he leaned across 2 of us to serve food to the other 2 when he could have walked around the table.
His personal hygiene left a lot to be desired, and when we were trying to get his attention for the bill, it took 2 of us 5 minutes before he saw & another 5 minutes to come back with a card machine. This was at the end of the evening whilst the restaurant was almost empty.
Wouldn't go again & wouldn't recommend it.
M. A.
Beautiful location, great service. Fun atmosphere
V. R.
Hidden gem. Have visited the restaurant twice now and I would definitely recommend and be back myself. It down at look anything special from the outside but stepping down into the main restaurant your meet with a beautiful art deco venue. Plush booth, lovely comfy chairs. Staff have always been courteous and friendly even though it can get super busy. They have a great menu and a funky and fun cocktail menu. Would recommend to anyone looking for something a little funky and fun.
J. T.
Great food, good service, lovely ambience and music.

I used to busk in Piccadilly across from the Royal Academy of Art. When I finished playing I would go for my late night dinner at Quaglino's. Dressed for fine dining, I was not, but they, always, treated me like a King. The food was fantastic and the service was premier class. Peerless atmosphere. My life has moved on now and I live in America, so when I turned 60 I had my birthday dinner with some close friends at Quaglino's. The food was sublime and the service top class, so nothing has changed, except for the quality of my suitcase... They are the best.
L. B.
The kitchen must have been having a bad night. Took forever to get our main courses, so much so that the manager offered us free desserts. A 930 booking on a Friday and we didn't get done until after midnight. Food quality was also off--the scallops were super dry and extremely over cooked, the plating was sub par, and the sides were poorly done. The music was the best thing about this restaurant, and it kept us in decent spirits. That and the people watching, as this place is a scene. We will return for drinks only in the future.
H. B.
An awesome dining and drinking experience accompanied by great live music
S. K.
Couldn't recommend this place enough!
The decor, atmosphere and music was so great.
From the moment we walked in, we were really well taken care of - we tried so many different drinks we never would have thought of, thanks to our waiter Iyedr who was really knowledge and friendly :)
I'll definitely be back!!

Great atmosphere, dark and glamorous, Standard deal is good value.

A fantastic evening
Seabass was cooked to perfection
Music made the night

If you want old school Hollywood glamour and Art Deco finishes then this venue has it all. From the outside, it looks small but Quaglino's is deceptively spacious. From the entrance, you have to go down some stairs to reach reception, a bar, private dining rooms and the lounge area. You have to descend further to get to the main restaurant but what a view you will get.
We went for the 3 courses for £30 which included a glass of champagne, this was exceptional value and very tasty. I couldn't fault the service, venue or the food. I'm good to have returned after many years away...
C. S.
Lovely room , good service and terrific music. Shame about the food which was (at best ) very average….starters , main course …over priced average fare.
M. S.
Very nice food and a pleasant setting for a good meal. Regular music in the evening, which adds a good vibe. It's a trendy place and very popular. One down side, it's quite a noisy place with the buzz you'd get in a busy works canteen. With the extra noise of a live band, it can make talking to your fellow diners quite difficult. Overall a good experience, but the sound could do with being turned down a notch!
C.
Bottomless Brunched on a Saturday (8 girls) great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was lovely, but smallish portions (expected), probably a tad expensive for what it was, BUT they were generous with the prosecco refills so that's a plus!
Z.
Sunday lunch review: go for the live music, bottomless wine or champagne, the marvelous venue, and to see the people. All of those components are top notch and hard to best in the whole of London. The wait staff was excellent, creating a truly “bottomless” wine glass as the level of attention meant never seeing the bottom of the glass over the course of 2 hours. 4/5 stars as the food left me a bit underwhelmed, though I will say that my better half raved about the risotto. Recommend.
C. C.
Thanks so much for a fabulous evening.
Excellent service, and a great atmosphere.
From the lovely personable welcome to the kind attentiveness of the waiting staff, we felt well looked after.
The food was lovely, (my 11 year old son had his first taste of oysters and loved it), and even though there was a little blip with one of the dishes, the problem was resolved quickly and without any fuss.
The atmosphere was warm and fun, lots of people having a really good time.
The band and DJ were great!
Good song choices, just the right volume for dinner and little dance.
I will definitely recommend Quaglino's to friends and family.
Thanks again.
S. R.
Food not good service not good.tables left with dirty glasses etc

I love a Sunday bubbles brunch.... and this really hits the spot. Staff are fantastic. Restaurant is gorgeous. Food is yummy. Sunday live band entertainment takes it to a whole new level. My new favourite. We all had a great time and will be back!

Well... What can I say ! I went there today to celebrate my friend birthday and what a time did we have. It was absolutely fantastic!!
The food was amazing, our somalier absolutely divine, the other stuff helpful and friendly. The live band made us stand up and shake our booties. I definitely would recommend it to friends and family.
Thanks all for a lovely and happy afternoon.x

Had a delicious meal here from the evening standard menu. The whole place is beautiful, with a central island bar on the ground floor as well as one in the drinks area upstairs. Greeted at the door, offered a cloakroom for our coats and escorted to our table by friendly, informative waitresses. The food itself was wonderful, if you're ordering from the set menu it is very affordable for top quality plates.
Perfect for special occasions!
K. B.
Amazing food and exceptional service as well!

Reception have very bad attitude but the host try do his best food is ok show is depend on the schedule.
S. K. (.
The service was fantastic. Was greeted at the door like a celebrity. Felt like I was in a movie. The ambience is fantastic. The act on the night were brilliant. Food amazing. The bar was beautiful. Highly recommend. Will definitely be visiting again and again. My new favourite spot.
J.
I didn't mind this place. The Maitre'd was nice enough to let us know when our time was up for food, so if you're a slow eater, eat up. Food was ok but it wasn't anything to shout home about for the price you pay. Also, be quick on the go with the drinks and food. The moment you sit down, be quick to order, otherwise flagging down someone could take up to 20 minutes if you're not careful of your timing
C. L.
Just loved this restaurant! From the elegant interior to the exquisite food and faultless service. We got a brilliant 2 course deal. £22 including a glass of wine. I had guinea fowl which was superb and my husband's lamb rump was the best he'd tasted. Our daughter's choice of beef tartare and lamb rump was excellent. Pity we had to dash away to catch our train. Definitely will go back.
P. B.
Lovely Christmas day dining experience with family.
D. S.
what i great experience. We took a group of student for meal here and they all had a great time and were highly impressed with the level of service and food they received. The staff dealt professionally with our dietary issues and could not be more helpful. The servers were friendly and could not help but feel genuine in their approach. Highly recommend Quaglino's well worth a visit. We definitely will be going again.

One of my favourite London places.
A serious experience of food and entertainment of top quality.
M. P.
Excellent food and service, great atmosphere.

Great venue! Great food. great music. Average cocktails.
A. F.
Fun restaurant, great for midweek dining. I've eaten in the private dining room and the food and wine was very good. I've also eaten in the main restaurant, taking advantage of the great midweek offer - two courses and a glass of wine for (around) £25. The live music here is also good though a little loud for a restaurant!
L. G.
Visited here for an 18th birthday. Was a great atmosphere although music possibly not to everyone's taste...definitely geared towards a younger group, however my 80-year old mum loved it there.
Food was delicious, nicely presented and although they look relatively small, they are very filling.
We had the 3-course brunch menu with the bottomless bubbles....our glasses were never allowed to empty.
The service was fantastic with the waiters friendly, approachable and attentive at just the right level without interfering with our meal.
Definitely recommend!!
j. h.
Always excellent music, very good food and value for money. London isn't an inexpensive town and it's hard to find this sort of venue that doesn't charge a fortune and deliver 2nd rate meals. I've never had a bad meal and never seen a 2nd rate band here.
A. R. F.
Great for a romantic dinner, live music is amazing. Tried the pan fried cod and the starter with burrata mozzarella and both were absolutely delicious. The cod literally melts in the mouth and the mozzarella is fresh. For desert I had the chocolate mousse cake and that was amazing too, if you love chocolate don't miss this one. On a final note the waitress and waiter that served us were really good. Would recommend to anyone.
M. S.
Great place, with lovely food and a decent choice of cocktails. The venue themselves is quite impressive. A better organized and client facing staff would make the experience closer to perfect.
D. B.
Fantastic food, fantastic entertainment. We loved every minute.
J. O.
Always fun, especially with the live music, not particularly blown away by the food but the presentation is always nice
J. W.
I've eaten here several times and I'm looking forward to the next one. The restaurant is stylish, with a spacious bar area. The food they offer is great - whatever you order, you get something that you are not able to cook at home. And that's just one of the reasons why it's on my top 3 list of restaurants in London. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. Highly recommend it.
B. P.
Great atmosphere and lovely venue with attentive service. Food although very tasty and inventive was small in portion and I'd say over priced, unfortunately for me not cooked to perfection, lamb tough and chewy and scallops over cooked and also chewy. However overall a lovely venue with great staff but the food and price a little over rated, have had much better and even cheaper in London but worth a visit if In the area.
R. C.
Excellent service, food was delicious, presentation superlative, decor and atmosphere brilliant.
D. Z.
As usual, the service was amazing, food outstanding entertainment perfect to round it up. -little advice, although the staff is working hard to achieve the above mentioned great experience, they should be encouraged to take a deep breath and slow down on the floor. It feels a bit like dodge ball trying to walk through the venue.
E. T.
Cagey Staff.
Nice place , great decor, but be very careful when ordering at a table by the bar area. Waiters are definitely out to con you. Make sure you are aware of the price per bottle before ordering. My experience left a bitter taste to say the least . I expected more from a supposedly high end Bar Restaurant .
A. N.
Attended a private dinner here on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was superb but the food was disappointing. Asked for a medium steak which came well-done another friend asked for the same and her steak was almost blue. The central flower arrangement was dead which I thought was poor attention to detail. Excellent crème brulé and chocolate mousse desserts. Stunning restaurant with excellent entertainment.
E. A.
Great good, lovely cocktails and fantastic entertainment.
I. A.
The restaurant was very lovely. Nice scenery , lovely ambience. Nice staff. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy any meal because I am the most fussiest eater in the whole of England. But others i went with said their meals were nice
G. r.
Food and cocktails were fantastic. Service was also pretty good as was a large party of us. Good lively venue with singers and would definitely revisit. The Best pork belly main!
N. B.
First visit after years of saying we have to go. Have heard different things from different people. Our visit was at Sunday lunchtime. Absolutely fantastic ambience, service and food. Brilliant time had by all - pleasantly surprised. Will definitely go again. Great place for lunch, dinner or even just a sneaky drink in the afternoon. Fabulous.
I. M.
Nice venue but had a few issues. Had 9 o'clock booking but weren't seated until 9.20 the bar area was too busy to wait in so we had to stand amongst the tables which then caused problems as we had to keep moving out of the way for the waiting staff. When we were finally seated our waiter kept disappearing after taking a few orders then would return and take another one or two orders before disappearing again, it took almost 30 minutes before all of our party had placed their orders. The drinks service was extremely slow considering it was a Christmas party. When our food finally arrived there was some confusion as to who was having what which we managed to resolve. Then one of our party was given a dish they had not ordered, when this was pointed out to our waiter his response was I don't know why this has been sent up and then asked if it mattered. Expected better considering reputation and cost.
B.
Omg, as soon as I entered this place I didn't quite expect how glamorous it actually is. The basement-esque venue transcends you into what is akin to a scene out of The Great Gatsby. Great food and a great atmosphere. During my time here I was given the pleasure of hearing live renditions of early 2000s hip hop songs, which packaged the entirety of the night to be magical.
m. c.
Great place for an evening out, great atmosphere, and live entertainment.
Definitely recommend.
S. M. (.
Such a classy venue. Super décor, great service (Prosecco glass was never empty!), very tasty food. Nice music and great vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed!
D. T.
The restaurant is very nice with two bar area very very nice and a stage with live music. The food is good but, not excellent and not balance the price. The meat was good but cold. Even from the service, I was expecting something more, the staff is a little bit out of focus. In any case, a positive but not exciting experience.
G. L.
We've had lunch in the private room today and I'm so positively surprised by the service and the food. Our waiter Ricardo was effortlessly friendly, subtle and efficient with the service. Being vegan I don't say this often but the starter and the mains were out of this world! Perfect presentation, texture and portion, I'm so coming back! I had the Quinoa, broccoli & pomegranate salad, burnt orange, pine nuts, tahini, calamansi dressing for a starter, and for main the Stuffed courgette, ratatouille, lemon gnocchi, smoked tomato, rosary cream
6 out of 5 stars, thank you!
N. R.
Fancy. Good food.
A bit dark and noisy for my liking, but apparently a favourite of many celebs (including, I'm told, the late Princes Di).
Good wine list, reasonable set menus.
Be warned, live music from 9, so not suitable for business dinners requiring conversation.
R. S.
really nice surroundings and interesting/different cocktail menu - however huge negative that in the bar area it wasn't table service (that's fine i can walk to a bar no problem) but then to be charged a service fee of £12.5% when they are pre-made cocktails poured out of a bottle that are listed at £13 when in reality that becomes nearly £15 for something that isn't even made fresh or served to your table!! It's ludicrous.
n. w.
What a fantastic venue.
Excellent decor, the live music was first class and our waiter very professional yet quite quirky. For me this a must.
Would definitely be going back. Danced the night away.
K. G.
Quaglino's is a beautiful venue and would probably be a great place for a date. The bar overlooks the rest of the tables, so drinks there are a nice way to settle into the evening before dining. Once at the table, the service could have been better - we were left waiting and had to resort to waving our hands around to get the staff's attention. We were there for a birthday meal and discovered that if you bring your own cake, there is a charge for eating it at the table which seemed a bit ridiculous. Nice food, but not out-of-this-world.
C. M.
A really memorable evening with 6 other girlfriends. One of my favourite London restaurants. Lovely atmosphere, great service, fantastic cocktails. The dinner was superb and we enjoyed live music and then later on a DJ. Quite an expensive restaurant but worth every penny.
E. D.
Really great evening at Quaglino's. Cocktails were amazing ( and I'm not usually a fan). Cocktail lounge had a nice buzz for 7pm on a Tuesday. Service was lovely. Food was nice. My banana parfait was one of the nicest deserts I've had in a long time. The live music (from 9pm) was lovely, it really perked up the mood. After reading some reviews, I'm very glad we weren't charged the £3 each for the lived music ( despite saying so on there menu), good choice = 5 stars from me.
J.
Quaglino's is one of my favourite European restaurants in London! It has a lovely chic and vibrant setting, a great place to have drinks after work or dinner with your friends - they cater for all group sizes which is a bonus! I have even celebrated my birthday here twice as well, which should speak volumes as I always select a different resturant/venue depending what I decided to do!
The staff are nice and none of the occasions that I have been here to date did we never encountered any problems or receive poor service due prejudice attitudes etc, (something certain other restaurants should take notes on and learn from).
G. M.
Lovely place, really helpful and attentive staff, but I feel for the quality of the environment the food was just short of the mark. Not bad by any standard, but maybe left of the hot plate for a little too long with our table.
D. v. B.
That tornado cocktail! Love it! Dinner was fantastic and we had great live music. The place looks amazing. Makes you want to put on some extra lipstick and get that 20's groove on.
L. D.
Amazing place to be!
I just love this place! The design, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks and especially the staff always make it a night to remember. The best live music i can never get enough of! Roxy also is brilliant everytime we go there. Even if there is a full restaurant ahe manages to make you feel like you are the most important! Well done Roxy you are one of the reasons we always enjoy and feel welcomed
L. G.
We four sat down to a three course meal; served by attentive, professional staff. We agreed the food was excellent but wished we had given ourselves more time and seen the show. A great night out.
J. A.
Really nice atmosphere and service, food excellent too
P. B.
A great experience however the receptionist was very rude for me being delayed by a few mins. Such a shame. Customer service could have made this enjoyable
J. J.
A great experience. The food was wonderful and extremely tasty. The staff were cool and friendly and the musical entertainment was brilliant. There is a risk at places like this that it become cheesy and rely on its famous name. However that's not the case here. Everything was impeccable. The only downside was the scenesters that just wanted to get their selfie and tag themselves at the venue as well as perhaps meet their future russian husband.
R. W.
This could have been a four or five stars but for a few real negatives. The venue is gorgeous. We had the set menu and the food was generally fantastic, the sea bream main and panna cotta dessert were particularly delicious. I have had better shellfish bisque though so would recommend a different starter. About 3/4 of the way through our meal a jazz band began playing which was lovely and we felt lucky to have chosen the right night to dine. In terms of the drawbacks, the set menu comes with a glass of wine, when we were seated it was acknowledged that we were having the set menu, we were asked if we would like a glass of wine and provided with a list. Later it was revealed that those wines weren't actually the included wine, but rather would be paid for separately (£11 each). If that was the only thing we wouldn't have cared so much but when the bill came, in addition to service, there is also a £1 charity fee and a £6 fee for the band!! If you choose to show live music at your restaurant, you don't get to charge people for the experience! Especially when they only began playing when we had reached dessert. Quite a bizarre and disappointing end to a lovely evening. If you plan to have the set menu, make sure you budget 120% extra for the meal!

Friendly atmosphere and lovely staff make this place. I was somewhat underwhelmed by the food. Having said that I LOVED the artichoke starter but the main was slimy, the veg raw and it was luke warm. I would go again and give it another go because my fellow diner ate every morsel of her meal.

Food is not spectacular, but the ambience is a winner

Beautiful period restaurant. We went on an opentable deal and the food was absolutely amazing. Service was lovely, attentive but not overly so. Very friendly serving staff happy to have a chat and explained the menu patiently.

Unfortunately we didn’t have good experience at Quaglinos.
We went last Saturday for my birthday dinner around six o’clock. All the meals plus dessert were delicious, made from quality products, very well cooked, good portions also the price wasn’t bad at all. We finished around 7:30pm and reserved two seats at the bar downstairs to stay a bit longer. All the other seats were already booked.
The terrible experience came soon after we moved to the bar. A young couple arrived and started asking for seats at the bar for four people (a couple plus parents). Somehow they allowed them to take three just behind my back without booking. The couple shared one just behind and were knocking to me all the time as obviously two people can’t fit one bar seat! After the singer started to sing the only one thing I heard was the young really drank... behind me “screaming” like she was in a corner pub! The bartender apologised because he was also shocked by their behaviour and I overheard the mum asking the girl to stop as the mum moved behind me because she noticed that I wasn’t happy at all. We also complain twice the first time nothing had changed and the second time at 10pm! the girl turned down a bit. But no-one came back to us to ask if we are happy, just two cocktails were offered for free by the bartender but I didn’t fancy cocktail and I don’t need anything for free.
We wanted a solution for the situation and enjoy the time there.
We left with feelings as we’d have been in a overpriced pub and the people could finally take our seats!

Service from the floor manager and waiters was top-notch, although the hostesses at the reception came across a tad snooty. Great live music from 11pm onwards on Saturday nights. Quality of food is generally good. Save room for dessert.

Food was ok but the ambience and entertainment were a 5 star . Don't just go for the food.

Beautiful place, amazing atmosphere and lovely food! Professional stuff very polite and elegantly dressed. We enjoyed the dinner downstairs and had some cocktails at the bar upstairs where you can see the nice restaurant area and the scenario. Our night was magical thanks to this place!

Great vegan dessert. Sorbet, with coconut and pineapple. Meat was a little rare for me and was not asked how I would like it. Also took a little while for the water to come. Otherwise lovely decor and great service

First time visit, staff were amazing, our waiter (Ricard?) was fabulous - discreet, knowledgable, friendly. Entertainment was terrific as was the food, glamorous setting, I cannot fault any of it, and hope to return again.

Went there with family for lunchXmas fixed menu+champagne. Tasty generous portions,no need for side dishes (even though we ordered 3 at extra price, but that was too many indeed), food fresh and delicious, and I absolutely loved their cheesecake- undoubtedly amazing . Am sure all cheesecake lovers would agree with me on that.
Staff very polite albeit slightly inexperienced but that does not matter much. We really enjoyed it anyway.

Fantastic experience. I had to organise a dinner for clients, we went for the set menu option and it was great. Everything from the reception to the singer in the background spoke of class and elegance.
The food was delicious, timings were perfect and the stuff was charming and helpful. Difinitevely recommend.

I had Quaglino's with my boyfriend for the first time and it was amazing. we had a warm welcoming into the restaurant, asking if we needed to hang our coats. We were shortly being brought to our tables. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. Both of us had a set meal for £20 each which contained a starter and a main. Very delicious and such a bargain to dine in such an area with such a price. Would definitely recommend.

Very enjoyable evening, great 3 course dinner/cocktail deal. Good service, buzzing atmosphere, Set menu and food was far better than we were expecting. The only slight disappointment was the DJ and sound system...very muffled sound and the DJ seemed to be in a world of his own creating unnecessary mixes that ruined perfectly good tunes produced by professionals...as a result the dance floor wasn't very well used...

Now that I have fully recovered after an epic weekend celebrating my brothers 40th Birthday at Quaglino's i would like to say how amazing this place is, we cannot thank Maris enough for her hospitality.
We all had a wonderful time the food was amazing the drinks were flowing the cake was simply delicious and the live entertainment just made it a perfect evening
We will definitely be recommending this venue to all our friends and to experience it all again myself and my husband will be dining again in the near future.
A night never to forget....

Amazing bar restaurant. The staff is very very "aux petits soins" and they looked after us from the first minute to the end. The bartenders on the ground floor were energetic and polite, very professional too. I had the 2courses meal: main and dessert. The spinach were awfully salty,so we returned it to the kitchen. Replaced. The meal was ok (I had sea bream + spinach on the side +chocolat fondant with vanilla ice cream). This dessert was the greatest fondant ever!
I will go back, for a drink only and to enjoy live bands.

What a magical place! I've wanted to go for years (particularly as a big Ab Fab fan) but never got round to a visit. I was so pleased when my friend decided to hold his birthday lunch here. We all had a brilliant time and I can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Nice place with a nice ambiance. We booked a private dining room for a work related dinner. This allowed us to have proper conversations. If I would have visited this for leisure, I would prefer a table near the podium below. Looked excellent.

Great Sunday lunch with bottomless bubbles, very good at keeping your glass full. Really good food and service.
However didnt understand how we weren't able to switch to bottomless rose from prosecco considering the prosecco was the more expensive option which we were happy to pay.
The live music was a nice touch however a little loud to begin with.

This is(was) one of my favorite restaurants for last 20 years.
Food, service and atmosphere are
excellent untill the band starts.
It gets too noisy if you sit close to the stage and not sure to have a live band here which might spoil old Quaglinos. Maybe the time moved on.

Quaglino is classy and romantic place with a lovely abinious. Lovely food and portion sizes. It's a place were ladies can choose dress up or go causal smart. The weekend we were there, there was a energetic soul band entertaining on the night...great stuff! Highly recommended.

One of my favourite restaurants in London, a refined and luxurious experience at very decent prices, the atmosphere and decor are one of the bests in London and the people that work here are an example of great and friendly service. They also have really good and un-intrusive live shows that make having dinner here a unique experience
