G. H.Warmly welcomed, amazing service and deliciously fresh food, making Salieri a wonderful experience. Will be coming back again and this review is the least I can do in return for making me feel like an appreciated customer. The staff weren't aware of my special occasion nor were they asked to pull anything together for it. But they quickly realised, sent over a colourful fruity desert with sparkler and drinks on the house with a birthday song. A pleasant surprise and made me feel special. Thank you to all at Salieri and I'll see you soon.
H. B.Managed to get a table for 2 by the window at short notice. Nice, laid back lunch. The decor has character and the location is great, opposite the Savoy, if you can get a seat by the window it's a nice place to people watch.
Service was bit slow and at times our waiter seemed flustered, also I was told the olive were pitted when they clearly were not.
The menu is simple and the food straightforward which I liked, also the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Salieri's if you are in the area.
S. M.We had a lovely pre theatre meal at this restaurant last night, my husband had the cod and chips and I had the chicken breast with mushrooms and tomatoes. Both meals were really tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My only slight disappointment was that there were only 3 choices of dessert, I went for the cheese cake and my husband had the lemon tart, both lovely but would have loved more chocolate dessert options. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

J. E.This is a really nice little resturant situated right in the heart of London. Outside the resturant looks a bit out of place with the surrounding street, but overall looks nice with the lights and decor. Inside the decor is much the same drawing on inspiration from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. There is artworks on the walls and from what I hear there is some riske artwork in the female bathroom as well. The staff are friendly and very theareical in their work, making for dinner with a bit of comedy. The food, alas, is only ok. I would say that the cabonara I had was nice, but lacking a depth to the flavor. This was also the consensus from the group from their meals. The prices were what you would expect, but perhaps a bit too much for the quailty of the food. The wine selection is ok, but again a bit expensive for the quality. The waiter while friendly was also a bit awkard at times. I would eat here again if there was reason to, but it seems a bit like a relic from a bygone era that needs to up the standard a bit.

Well presented in the heart of the Strand. It is on the corner so lots of windows and light but also privacy if you want it in the other corner of the restaurant. I will certainly return.
The decor may be a bit gaudy but I've never had a bad meal here.

R. S.Took some friends to Scalieri on Monday night, I used to eat there regularly but hadn't been for a couple years but the owner welcomed me like an old friend. The food was simply fantastic and beautifully presented, the service from the staff was perfect, attentive but not intrusive and the timing between courses was just right. Above all the price was great. This restaurant is a London institution and if you haven't been then you're missing out on one of London's great dining experiences. Can't wait to go again. Bravo!
P. W.Can't speak for other dishes, but I ordered the chicken (pollo) in white wine sauce and the portion size was so small. Finished my meal in under 5 minutes. The food wasn't bad, but way too small a portion, and for £17 not good value for money.

We had a fairly sizeable family gathering and a birthday to celebrate, they made us feel super special and rang a very hilarious bell !! Had the set menu with the cured meats followed by the Chicken San Marco, so so moist. Was looked after by a short chap who had us laughing whilst being welcoming. D. M.Fillet steak was excellent and cooked to perfection. Literally melted in your mouth as did the calamari. Portion sizes were brilliant and food on other tables looked just as good. Service was good even when it got busier. Decor is a bit out there but very fitting with the theatrical theme to the area. My only two complaints were that the fries were very salty/greasy - I would have preferred either thick cut chips/jacket potatoe or similar - and the mushroom sauce wasn't what I expected (was more like mushrooms in gravy). Overall reasonably priced for the area

a. h.Lovely restaurant just across the road from the Savoy Theatre. Good choice of menu and rather tastey food. £80 for 3 courses and coffee for 2 people with a bottle of wine. Service included in the bill.
C. S. A.Food was good and service was perfect. We (3adults and 9 kids) were hungry and tired on the way to National Gallery. We were able to take a rest there and when we finished the nice dinner they handed a couple of cookies to every kid. It is minor thing but We felt we are welcomed.
P. B.A place to visit cab driver told us about it and everything he said was true. Good meal lamb cutlets same standard as one I remember in Rome. A must visit in London. I will blow my own trumpet I make a better tiri mi su but yours a good second. Staff attentive but not in your face.
M. S.Sam and his staff always provide excellent service and excellent food and a relaxed and friendly environment. My husband and I go frequently it is our favorite restaurant. We all went there to celebrate a special birthday of mine on Saturday and once again the whole evening was brilliant.

M. J.First class! Love it here! Sam the owner is a star! Staff could do with cheering up a bit but does not defer from the experience. Food is fabulous! Right on the Strand and opposite the Savoy and near Covent Garden so right in the centre of theatre area. Try it! Or don't, because that will mean we can go more often!

W.Disappointing, booked on line.Added instructions to sit by the window, needed to be out by 6.30 because we were going to see a show this was my husbands Birthday treat.I booked the table for 5pm which was confirmed by email.Arrived at 5pm, said I booked a table, didn't even look in the appointment book not very busy at this time .All the window seats were taken none reserved for us, didn't say anything at this point.Took our orders after a short while our starters arrived,were asked if everything was ok,and it was, restaurant starting to fill up at this time, and at this time we were forgotten.The main meal arrived after a while.We poured our own wine,then we waited 6.30 came.I got up from the table and had to go to the desk to get my bill.When looking at my bill I noticed that service charge was added,I asked them to take it off after complaining.On our way out my husband was wished a happy Birthday.
