Jollof rice tasted lovely but was a little dry and hard to the bite, curry goat was delicious too but could have been more tender and less oily. Jerk chicken and plantain were far too sweet for my liking. Price and portion sizes were fine. The girl serving was really nice but the delivery time was quite slow.

Just fantastic food and service. Unique to find something like this in London and in such a gentrified bourgeois area.

Good food. The capacity is small which whilst great for intimate dining is great could pose a problem for larger functions. Will visit again.

I had never had Ghanaian food before but I loved it. Myself and 3 friends spent a fantastic evening here. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Relaxed, no pressure, and the man who served us was lovely and friendly. He helped us with the menu (none of us were experts on the food!) and we all had a great time. Fantastic!

Amazing family run business. Staff were extremely friendly upon arrival. The upstairs seating area has modern decor and a warm felt atmosphere. The food did definitely live up to the expectations of me and my guest. There was definitely an authentic taste to our chosen dishes. Will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to taste/enjoy Ghanaian food. Situated on a nice busy road too. Will be visiting again soon!

5* takeaway, authentic and delicious and wonderful customer service from the lady on the phone. I had problems with justeat and the delivery but the lady at the store was so lovely and the food delicious and so authentic I had no room to complain! Thank you!!

An all round great first time experience. The young lady behind the bar was welcoming and didn’t seem at all frustrated with the hundreds of questions we had about the food on their menu. We opted for the fufu and peanut soup which was just lush. She also whipped us up a special cocktail. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy real hearty food in a chilled out environment. 5 stars from me

I ordered a mix of Rice and Meat dishes and it was really delicious. Well spiced not too hot and meat was tender in the sauce. Staff are kind and personable they helped me pick what they felt was the best variety to try and my whole family enjoyed it! Prices are very fair for the portions and the atmosphere as I waited was really lively - next time I plan to sit in and eat with a group!

The staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was efficient. I must say the food at Sweet Handz was mouth wateringly good, I like that they cater both African and Caribbean. I also loved their cocktails! An all round great experience, I will definitely come back again :)

I remember coming here a few years ago and it is by far one of the best Ghanaian restaurants in london. The restaurant was new then I believed they had just opened and it was a lovely place to sit.
I ordered off of Just Eat once and they took 2 hours to deliver and I wasn’t happy about that but the manager phoned up and apologised, explaining how it was her first year of business.
I haven’t been back since only because I’ve moved house. But I’m looking forward to going back.

Pressed for time, I came into this restaurant to get something quick to eat. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant has an a genuinely amicable and relaxed atmosphere. I got turkey and jollof rice to takeaway and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious! I'd recommend to anyone in the north London area looking for authentic Ghanaian cuisine.

The food portions were big and the waiter was pleasant. However I was surprised that it was virtually empty on a Friday evening , but soon came to realise why when the bill came! One cocktail was 10 pounds and the prices of the meals has risen by 20 percent since last year , which is just ridiculous for a Ghanaian restaurant .

Sweet Handz and their sweet business ! As a loyal customer I would have to say Sweet Handz is the best Ghanian restaurant I have been to in London. Their food is a 10 out of 10 where taste and presentation is perfection, their customer service is also a 10 out of 10 by being so kind, courteous and to detail. Overall their efficiency, delivery, ambience and atmosphere is on point and I have never been dissatisfied. As a family owned business I wish them all the best success and hope that they would expand in the UK and later around the world ! :)

Had an amazing experience here with a few friends a few weeks back. Exceptional food, the meat so tender and full of flavour. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Such a pleasure to dine at Sweet Handz, I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Very beautiful seating area. The services was superb. Very friendly and the food was very tasty. Visited for the first time yesterday with work colleagues for my birthday and will definitely go back with more work colleagues as the ones I went with yesterday also gave it a thumbs up. Thank you for making my birthday so beautiful. Highly recommended.

This has to be one of the best if not THE BEST Ghanaian restaurants in London! The waiter is sooo nice and pleasant! He suggested every meal for us and everything was delicious! I was only walking past with my family and I heard Afrobeats and had to check them
Out! Will definitely be back with more of my friends and family! Thank you sweet handz!!! Great service from a young man called kelvin and great food!

By far the best African restaurant in London! Didn’t let the reviews affect me went and tried my self such a nice family business! The owner Rebecca is lovely! We’ll be back next week! (Try the turkey tail!)

got there at opening sunday p.m. warm and hospital owner/ chef (becky). have been to ghana many times and hoped for a reproducible dining experience.cosy upstairs seating area, piped ghana music and ghana decor. comfy place.
ordered light soup / goat meat hot//wow- nuclear heat. fab taste. I did ask for the real Mccoy though!
the non-spicy version for my friend packed a punch too! jollof rice was all good, tilapia and chicken and goat meats with the rice. I had the peanut sauce with goat meat, rice balls( a huge ball rather than small ones) and egg and beans in the sauce. banku to accompany and a large cold tasty Club beer.
It was a very satisfying meal, not overpriced and the food came quickly which can be a problem in small African restaurants with owner / chefs.
Becky was a fun and engaging host and very helpful .
Definitely worth the trek from Heathrow area to Holloway Road.
Will order less heat next time though. yikes.:)

I was on my way to the Emirates and tried here instead of my usual Piebury pie. Small menu of mostly Weat African dishes. I had jerk chicken (slightly different from the Caribbean version) and rice cooked in chicken and tomatoe stew. Can't remember the name, but it was lovely. I could have eaten more meat, but the portion was ok. The lady behind the bar also appeared to be the chef and waitress. I hope she gets paid for three jobs because she made the visit worthwhile. Really helpful, upbeat and welcoming. I'll be back!!

This is a nice little hidden gem bringing you delicious Ghanaian taste. I visited Emirates Stadium with my friend in London and decided to grab something local here after a long walk around London.
The Banku and Grilled Tilapia with shito and pepper we had was tantalisingly delicious.
😋🤤🤤🤤🇬🇭

Came today with my friend. My favourite was kelewele (nice) and waakye and beans(I know is not a good combination!). My friend had jollof with suya kebab. The kebab meat teast like old they even served to my friend an expired juice( thank God we read the date on time), the juice labour was a different language. My rice was mix with old rice and new rice, so I end up eat only the beans stew which was good. On the website said that lunch time price was £5 for every food which wasn’t true because we paid normal price!
C. P.
Food was excellent. I had the Jollof rice which was a rice with red beans, a chicken stew (options were mutton or chicken), boiled egg, and some spicy sauce very similar to Malaysian sambol sauce. The food was very tasty and well worth the 8 pounds. I also had a Ghanaian Guinness which was sweeter than the normal Guinness.
There are some interesting dishes to choose from and I intend to visit again to try some more.
The restaurant was clean and had some great Ghanaian music. The service was good and the food was served quickly. Well worth a visit if you live around the area and if you are curious on Ghanaian cuisine.

Good Ghana dishes but the red pepper was accompanying the banku was off. The fried plantains I bought were also burnt. The jollof was great! Pricing was fair

The food was enjoyable and I am assured by a friend of Ghanaian descent that it is authentic, but while the service was friendly enough it was quite slow.
