For the best shisha and service in Canary Wharf, look no further. Temple lounge is a comfortable shisha lounge, located by the water, with a fabulous view of the skyscrapers. The menu is inexpensive and the service is great. We had a nice time with mates.

Visited the temple lounge with a group of 10. Staff were very helpful in organising seating and service was excellent. Orders taken quick, food brought to the table quick. Great vibes to chill and enjoy some tea and shisha after the meal. Would strongly recommend

This is a MUST visit lounge!! I love the atmosphere, the service and they have lovely food all the time. My favourite combo would be lamb tikka masala, a cocktail and their berry flavour shisha against the view of Canary Wharf. I promise you would not be able to go to a different lounge after this!

The staff members are lovely, service is good. I will say the food is merely ok, they could do some work in terms of flavours but there’s a variety of different cuisines. A lovely view and atmosphere, there’s a 2 hour limit on your stay. The downsides are its cash only and when it’s cold the outside heating doesn’t do much. Food is a little disappointing.

For canary it's the main shisha place I would go to. The service itself is decent and selection wise for shisha there is enough variety. Just note that it is a cash only place!

Temple has always been one of my favourite spots in the whole of London to be honest and because its so under rated and underground l will call it actually l dont think it gets enough props. First situated in one of the best picturesque places ever Canary Wharf you're surrounded by breathtaking tall building encapsulated around what l would refer to as a Marina. If you've ever been to Dubai ld say this location has that similar feel, a world outside of the world ontop of water. Such a lovely place to take a walk,go into Canary Wharf's mall, or check out their restaurants and bars. Temple lounge is Middle Eastern and if you like shisha this is your spot because ideally you can only sit at their restaurant if you're getting Shisha which by the way is fantastic at Temple. They use your good quality shisha flavours Al Fakher and Star Buzz and do cocktails of the flavours to hit your taste buds just right. It is a no alcohol serving restaurant but don't be too alarmed you can bring your own alcohol at a charge. The mixed grills are always a great hit with the meat made so tenderly and succulently and if you're a seafood fan like myself you have to try the Prawn Mixed grill or something along the lines just show them picture below and the meat one that my partner had was the Arabic mixed grill. With the BYO(bring your own) policy you need to spend min of £20 each person and in general to sit and eat at the restaurant as a whole the minimum spend is £12.50 per person. Overall if you're looking for a lovely spot especially in summer you have to experience Temple Lounge!

Nice location. Food is filling and yummy. Have to spend £20 per person to take your own alcohol. I would recommend, buying a mocktail and adding your own alcohol to it. It's affordable, only downfall is that it's cash only! Wish it closed later like the hookah venues on edgeware road. The toilets are not appealing. My go to place if I want to chill on a summer night.

This place is a hidden gem! The hookah is good, the food is delicious and the service is fantastic. There is a £15 minimum, but if you order hookah it is easy to hit. I would definitely return.

First time at Temple Lounge and we enjoyed it. Attracts a good crowd, got talking to the couple next to us which was nice and someone recognised me from Harrods. Such a nice experience. Shisha was good, i haven’t done it in years so for me it was pleasant. Staff were friendly and pointed us to a cash point which was a minute away. Also its a 2hr max stay when its busy but other times it should be fine to stay longer. £10pp minimum spend. You will love it!

Shomal seated us and despite it being so busy and he was the only person responsible for seating everyone. He was pleasant and attentive. Tanzeel ensured our shisha was fresh throughout our visit. He changed the coals on time, started our shisha up again and was again so pleasant. Staff like these are the ones who leave a lasting experience, where you are valued as a customer and so you want to come back. Will be recommending this place to family and friends

Great food, great atmosphere. However the staff member are rude once leading up to the 2nd hour of staying. They clear the table with no care in the world, whether you are still eating or just finishing. Then they slap the bill on the table rudely. I would say staff members should wear uniform so customers can identify them abit more easily and they do need brushing up on their customer service skills. Mocktails were nice but definitely overpriced considering they are mocktails and not actual cocktails

The shisha wasn't bad but it did keep getting too harsh, which wasn't enjoyable. 1/2 flavor shisha is £20 premium is £25.. which we got and £25 did not seem worth it. But the service was really good, in particular one guy, he was very friendly and professional (he may have been a head waiter/supervisor)

Really nice views and food and shisha. They don't accept card so you have to bring cash and they don't have a cash machine on site. They have a maximum 2 hour stay rule but of you go earlier you won't have to wait in line. It starts to get really busy around 7.30ish

Shisha wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst either. The staff seemed fine though lacked communication skills. At the very least, they weren't rude. Ok food, the shisha was decent but not the best I've had. Services are a bit slow during the busy weekend. Amazing views of the high rising buildings and channel. Due to this the place is pricier than other shisha lounges. And also there is a minimum spending of 10 pounds per person. In other words if you are a group of three people 30 pounds is the minimum of spending at that table. A standard shisha costs roughly 20 pounds.

Food and Shisha are great here. And you can bring your own bottle if you want but you'll have a minimum spend. Only gripe is that you can only stay for 2 hours before they want the table back. It's brilliant in the summer - it can get a bit chilly in autumn even with the space warmers.

Cool place for a shisha in the summer. Quite a good choice, permanent lack of the fruit heads so don’t even bother asking. Food wise - I am sorry to say but it tastes like pulled from the microwave ( and in case of chicken breast you can spot the difference straight away, right? ). Cash only establishment which can be a little bit problematic when the nearby cash machine ( go through the building - downstairs - leave the building - cross the road - bingo ) is out of order. Plenty of local instagrammers snapping pictures of the time of their life but spending most of their “out with friends” time in their phones so relatively quiet. Outdoor Shisha Bar that also sells a range of food. the shisha is of mediocre standard, as expected with most places, same with the food; don't expect a 5* cuisine as this is not the establishment for that. The area surrounding Temple is beautiful, however it can get quite packed in the lounge and so time your entrance accordingly. Overall its quite good and I would give a 3.5. Loses points on "house rules" which are very irritating, such as length of stay and minimum spend etc. Also seating can be a myth if you go at a busy time as mentioned.

However, it is cash only and also, during busy periods you can only stay up to 2 hours which i guess is understandable but it is quite annoying if you wanted to chill for longer. Not sure why everyone is hating on this place! Fair enough the shisha is not the best in the world. But it is a prime location. Also the staff are actually quite nice once you get to know them. I usually do not wait long for the food and it's pretty standard arabic cuisine, can't complain. The only thing slightly dodgy is the fact that they do not accept any cards. That's not really a major problem for me.
