R. S.This is a lovely little local restaurant. We've done takeout from here many times but only eaten here once. That is going to have to change! Service is fabulous and the food is generous in portion and so delicious! The sauce that was on the steak was definitely a winner and I regret not having ordered it myself; I had to keep stealing bites from my husband. The special pasta that we had aubergine and ricotta in it. The sauce was rich and scrumptious. I also highly recommend the tiramisu for dessert

클.I come here from time to time with my boyfriend and we absolutely adore the chicken breast with white wine mushroom sauce. The food quality is amazing and the staff are always friendly and quick despite how busy it always is. We always leave feeling happy, great date spot.
M. O.What a gem! Everything was excellent, the staff, the menu options, the quality of the food, the portions, the flavours. Both traditional and unconventional ingredients used. We have never eaten here, but used as a bolt-hole while the kids went to a production at Ali Pali.... we hit the jackpot. As we left we walked past a lot of restaurants in the area, whilst Tomo was fully booked, other restaurants were perhaps 25% capacity, I think that speaks fur itself.

All the things we had were amazing and delicious…… The staff were very warm and kind, especially the lady attending to us. We’re very happy with the hospitality and service provided. Cozy ambience, suitable for family and friends to visit. Extremely clean and hygienic. Superb presentation of food (The sight and aroma will definitely tempt you!!!!) Value for money…

F.Me and partner have eaten here on 3 occasions now and quite simple Tomo is our favourite restaurant in Crouch End. We have had the set menu and it is such an amazing deal at the price.

One time, there were just two waitresses for a full restaurant and the service was sub par. I let that one slide as in this times probably it was an emergency... I hope it won't be experiencing more of that.

Tucked away in a calm, cosy side of the City, this is by far the best restaurant experience we've had. The place is well looked after, very reasonably priced, and staffed by two waitresses who were extremely sweet and welcoming. The food is as authentic and delicious as it gets, and leaves you wanting more.
I'd definitely recommend this place, whether it's a special night out or your just looking to grab a bite.

We ordered takeout pizza and I had the Valentina - very tasty, fresh ndjua, spinach and mascarpone. Tomo's has a wide selection of interesting pizza flavours and are cooked the Italian way to perfection. We're so lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep
I have dropped one star purely because when I visited in person with my partner a while back the service was extremely slow and staff do not always speak the best English and can be hard to understand. I'd also advise booking ahead if eating because it does get very busy and 2hr is a long time to wait for a table!
T. T.A charming little restaurant that serves wonderful food and dessert. The pizzas were thin and crispy and full of flavour. The food was all presented beautifully. The service is excellent and friendly and Eva recommended a lovely wine.
N. M.One of the best Italian joints to eat in around the Hornsey / Crouch End area. The food is absolutely amazing, everything I've tried has been very tasty. Pizza and pasta are the kings here but they also have a selection of other main plates and starters.
I've had a few issues with takeaway before through the various apps and on one visit when there was 8 of us, an order was missed or forgotten and took well over an hour to receive the food so I've marked it only a 4. Most times we have eaten in the service has been excellent.
They cater well for kids with colouring sheets and pencils and have a good number of tables inside that are spaced out enough for social distancing purposes.
A.If I could give this restaurant a 10 star I honestly would. Service is like none other we have ever experienced before along with the quality of food. A lovely Italian restaurant with wonderful staff would definitely eat here again when we are next in London.

J. W.First time at Tomo (evening of 21/4/17), the food was incredible, and the service was very friendly. We ordered 3 pizzas - 1 Bufala (tomato sauce and then buffalo mozzarella and basil after cooking), 1 Napoletana (tomato sauce, mozzarella, olives, anchovies, capers), and 1 special (spinach, goat's cheese, sundried tomatoes, red pesto). The Napoletana was slightly too salty, but that's the only criticism I have. The Bufala was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and the dough was a perfect balance of chewy and crisp. Oh, and the pizzas are relatively large, so bear that in mind when ordering.
Visited Tomo again in winter 2021 and was super impressed once more. Hilariously their anchovies are still a little too salty, but the GIULIA was awesome. A word of note - I would strongly recommend anyone ordering that pizza to accept a heavy dose of freshly ground black pepper because it would really complement the flavours. The dough is still crisp and airy, and charred exactly the amount I like (I've noticed a trend in places overcooking pizzas presumably because char is fashionable).
A. I.I’ve been here before eating in the restaurant but I never tried pizza from Tomo. I ordered two Francesca yesterday (cotto and cheese) OMG , this is the best pizza I tried outside italy. Dough was amazing and crusty, ingredients used too notch. Thank you TOMO for making me love pizza again.

We’ve already ordered a few times so we know the food is absolutely spectacular but there was an issue with our last order. Upon calling and explaining, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy - more than any other restaurant experience we’ve ever had. S. Z.Ordered delivery from there for the first time yesterday and what an amazing experience from start to finish! Firstly, everything on their menu sounds incredible. A few minutes after placing my order a lovely lady called me to say that they did not have enough pizza bases and offered me two deserts instead. I was very happy with that exchange. The pizzas were so good and the tiramisu that came was one of the only ones I've tried in London that reminded me of an authentic one I was treated to by a friend once. Overall incredible experience!

Had one of the finest pizzas (Eleanora - prosciutto, marscapone, rocket) I've had in a while and the homemade tirimasu was divine. Polished off with an excellent glass of merlot and all for £20. Cannot recommend enough if you're in the area. Marvellous.

Bruschetta starter was nice. I had a pasta dish which I enjoyed a lot. My husband had an Italian meats pizza which was very good. It's a little salty which I like but if you are a little sensitive to salt go with one of the others.

Welcoming and attentive staff serve up generous portions of freshly made, delicious Italian food, usually with a few seasonal specials available too. Good for tasty dinners for two as well as bigger groups - from Valentine's Day to Birthdays - as well as for a take away pizza. I'd recommend booking to avoid disappointment - walk-ins are welcomed but it can get busy.

Tomo is without doubt one of the most delicious places to eat in the whole of London. The owners and staff are lovely and the food is amazing and fantastic value. We have lived on Hornsey High Street for as long as its been open and I cannot count the number of times we have eaten here. The pasta is always cooked perfectly and the pizzas are excellent. Thoroughly recommend the lasagne, the pollo milanese and any of the pizzas! The mozarella served here is some of the best I have ever encountered. Completely agree with George re no better restaurant in Hornsey or Crouch End. EAT HERE.

Pizza is crunchy and absolutely no burned base like others who claims to have a wood fired over and bring it burned; I don’t want to name but it’s Franco manca. P. J.Wonderful service, ambience, food and wine. We had the baked aubergine starter, followed by veg courgette and mushroom pasta (you have to ask for the full veg menu separately) and a tagliatelle bolognese with mixed side veg and garlic potato wedges. Everything was really well cooked and delicious. We had a carafe of d'abruzzo red wine to accompany it which was served at the right temperature (not too cold) and went down a treat. We finished with the fruit coulis cheesecake, a perfect finish to the meal. The service was exceptional throughout, we will be back.

L. G.One cannot fault the service here. I arrived before the main party, and was offered a cool drink while I was waiting (it was a hot day). For a vegetarian, choice of pizza is limited to the usual few, and for those eschewing gluten, a risotto seems to be indicated. As Ocado sell gluten-free pizza bases, perhaps this option could be considered. Nice decor and congenial atmosphere. Seating arrangements for a large party are a long table along the side wall - someone will be cornered, and those at opposite ends will be unable to communicate easily.

We ordered pizza and chicken breast in mushrooms and potatoes. I actually don't like mushrooms , but this dish was fabulous! Heaven in your mouth , and the pizza soo tasty ! Prices really reasonable , we had drinks , meals and desserts and we paid around £20 each ! Dessert was delicious.
They have wide variety of pizzas and you can change combinations as you want.
You will definitely leave restaurant full , happy!

Some bits I don't feel are actually vegetarian, like the bits that contain parmesan cheese, but I could be wrong. The food was lovely, the pizza delicious & dessert was yummy. The restaurant is what I would call intimate, which from my little knowledge of Italian culture is a good thing as meal time is a big event for the whole family. The comment regarding Ocado doing gluten free pizza bases, if you have a gluten intolerance, just get a pizza from Ocado & take it home & whine at the TV!
