Decent pizza. Better than the average pizza in London but definitely not worth a top napolitean pizza. Proofing is terrible... We expect an open crumb but instead we just get something super compact. 4/5 as a standard pizza. 3/5 as a napo.

Easily amongst some of the best Pizzas I've had in London. Far from just being your average pizzeria or Italian restaurant as you've got a plethora of so much customization options from the base to an assortment of spicy toppings and combinations - they've even got a wide selection of vegan options. Lovely, attentive and cheerful staff too, which made the experience for us worthwhile and enjoyable throughout our evening.

Very good quality sour dough pizza, up there with the best in London. Very good selection of toppings. Service is friendly and prompt. Only gripe is that the place is too small! Would recommend trying their specialist doughs as well, such as the whole meal!

Easy to read menu which can be magnified. Had the Margherita with with extra mozzarella. Good pizza but totally bland lacking any herbs. Also, a single leaf of basil did no help. I told the female staff that I was at work but the rocket did not have any oil. The rocket was not seasoned and only had Parmesan. Cutting the corner won’t make me come back.

It was my second time here tonight. I usually do not write reviews but I have to say that this place really needs to be mentioned. Cosy ambient, quiet and relaxed mood, no wifi (love it) excellent food, friendly and professional staff for an honest price. The charcoal pizza is absolutely delicious and do not forget to try the tiramisu. Yes they have only one cake on the menu but they know how to make it, superb! This is THE BEST PIZZA I’ve ever tried. I returned many times. The charcoal based pizzas are mind blowing. They also have whole meal dough but I haven’t tried it. Aperol Spritz are properly made as well. I recommend 200% this pizza 🍕

Pizza arrived via UberEats with a very friendly delivery driver. The pie went cold a bit too fast for my liking. Loved the dough and crust tremendously. Full marks for Leopard spotting 👌The buffalo mozzarella on the other hand was more reminiscent to that of a supermarket variety and not what you expect at £10+. Add on artichokes were added sparingly for £2.5 extra. Overall taste was good, however not outstanding.

The best pizza in London! Zia Lucia started in Highbury & Islington and has all the feel of the family run, traditional, loving restaurant that it is. The pizzas are divine with a range of bases that also caters to gluten and dairy allergies. The staff are always friendly and happy to recommend their choices. The truffle honey pizza is something special but you'd be equally blown away by the simple but timeless margherita. Prices are reasonable too which makes the newest branch of Zia Lucia another win for the capital. It is one of those places you will want to return to time and time again as new toppings are introduced. If you didn't have cravings for good pizza before, you will after Zia Lucia's. Make sure you can ahead as they can get very busy very quickly, the restaurants will do their best to take reservations but space is limited.

Fantastic pizza. There's a choice of four types of dough (including vegan) and several fillings combination. They also allow custom combinations of ingredients. Starters and desserts are also noteworthy, including home made tiramisu and panna cotta. I definitely recommend trying the charcoal pizza dough if you haven't tried it before. For me this is the best pizza in London. They also have a separate branch (the original one) near Highbury & Islington.

They are famous enough, but it's worth giving a shout-out to my favourite pizzeria in London. Great food! I love pizza and I came across this restaurant on Instagram and I had to try. Focaccia made with original dough was very good, fluffy and light. Wholemeal crust pizza in napolitan style was absolutely delicious. Soft and crispy edges, lots of tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese on top. Fresh, good quality and tasty ingredients. Variety of food types in menu is not huge but it's all about the pizza and that's why. You have a choice of 4 crusts (including gluten free), a lot of standard options for pizza and also customisation with your own toppings. Plus vegan options !!! I can't complain at all. Would highly recommend everyone who likes pizza napolitana and pizza in general.

To put it simply, this is the best Italian pizza in London. I would highly recommend the Buffalo Mozzarella Margherita with Vegetable Charcoal. The dough might see weird at the beginning (it’s black, as opposite to the standard pizza), but is actually incredibly tastier and lighter. The mozzarella cheese is also truly authentic Buffalo one and fresh like no other place. I am Italian and I struggle to find such a pizza in Italy when I go back for holidays. Don’t try any other pizza in London, this chain and this particular branch is just the best.

After being told Zia Lucia is the best pizza in London I could hardly turn down the opportunity to see for myself.....and it couldn’t have been a more accurate judgement! The service was fantastic and our waiter was very knowledgable, giving us a run through of the different choices of dough we could have for the base (including gluten free, whole meal, charcoal and traditional). The food was delivered very fast and the pizzas were absolutely divine. The ingredients were so fresh and full of flavour, the tomato sauce on the base was delicious and the buffalo mozzarella just fell apart in the mouth. The rocket and asparagus side salad was the perfect accompaniment and the wine paired really well. Also couldn’t resist our running joke of asking the waiter if they did pineapple pizzas - in the hope that they would frown and say no (because that right there is the tell tale sign of a good pizza joint!) and thankfully he said they didn’t whilst not showing any attempt to hide his dismay at the question! Overall an excellent pizzeria and one I shall most definitely be returning to, hopefully soon! Grazie!

The restaurant itself has not much vital space, so tables are quite too cramped, the service was a bit too slow, around 30mins between the order and the arrival of 4 pizzas. However, the product is sublime, probably the best pizza I ever tried in London and even better than lots of pizzas in Italy. Hands down the best pizza in the area. Competitive prices, good ingredients, gluten free option available. Last couple of deliveries: I had the feeling that were rushed when preparing and packing the order, but will give the benefit of the doubt as was a very rainy Saturday night and guys were probably quite busy (still not a reason not to keep up with usual level of service, but it can happen...). I have a gluten intollerance and I have been searching for a decent gluten free pizza for years with no result... until I bumped to zia Lucia pizzeria in Hammersmith!!! The best gluten free pizza in London.!! They also have the best staff ever, they make you feel like home. I can't resist to visit them every week with my 4 years old son which loves the pizza, and the amazing SABRINA. I wish I could give them more stars!

Favourite pizza outside of Italy (maybe ever!). We order very often and it’s always delicious and great quality. The dough base is the best I’ve ever had. Nduja and the Buffalo Margherita are our favourites. Reasonably priced and a must try if you are nearby to any of their restaurants.

We really like Zia Lucia, and it has now become a regular place for us, once ordering their pizza three times in a week. I have high standards when it comes to pizza, and Zia Lucia meets those standards. The size is perfect for one person, even if it is so good you don't want it to end. The topping selection is that bit different without ruining the classic dish, and the ingredients taste fresh and top quality. If you are a local or are visiting the area, it is well worth popping into this place for a sit down meal or a takeaway.

The pizza is very good but the service was not great at all. I asked for a pizza with half/half toppings and was happy to pay extra, but instead of a single pizza with half/half, the waitress came back with TWO half/half pizzas... how does that even remotely make sense? Best Pizza in London and one of the best I have ever had. Ingredients are super fresh, toppings interesting and innovative; the dough? Phenomenal. You can chose among 4 types of dough. I had the wholemeal base: crispy, flavoursome, light to digest. I had it with the parmigiana pizza (grilled aubergines, parmesan, mozzarella and tomato sauce) and it was a marriage made in heaven. Pizzas are baked in a authentic big wood fired oven in an open kitchen. You see pizza chefs baking and preparing the pizzas in front of you which is a great experience. I had their prosecco (nice and cheap) and the pizza dessert (nutella, fresh custard and fruits). My new favourite local!

If you want a case study of how Deliveroo has destroyed local restaurants then look no further. The pizza at Zia Lucia is simply divine. The charcoal versions are a particular favourite, but to be honest everything on the menu is wonderful. The problem is the service. This weekend it took over an hour to be served, despite having a booking...and early at that (6.30pm!). We were seated downstairs and to be honest we were lucky, as none of the other tables saw any pizza while we were there. On leaving I realised the problem - A huge line of Deliveroo drivers out the front, along with a line of disgruntled takeaway customers jostling the stressed out staff to make their orders first. My advice to management? Prioritise your loyal, LOCAL, customers instead of chasing Deliveroo Dollars!!

This place makes the best pizzas! So happy they opened a new branch! They offer gluten free and charcoal dough as well, which is amazing if you have specific dietary requirements.

Good choices of type of dough; mine was wholemeal and perfectly digestible without losing much the traditional pizza taste. By default each table has got a refreshing tap water with mint twig in it (see red arrow in the photo); however alchool is also served (see orange). Distance among tables (see blue) may allow to socialise with local human being instead of long distance and somehow unreal fb or tinder relation, however this depends mainly on your skills. Sea view available, a kind of (see green) All at a fair price

Very good pizza and I, being italian, can say so.Different ingredients on different kind of dough that you can choose. We say that good wine is found in small barrels, and as usual good pizzas are found in small places. We had our table in the basement. A bit cold but very cosy and when you start to eat the pizza you get warm. Waiter comes and see if everything it's ok. Offers you other things to eat or liquor to drink. Just one small thing... three it's one toilet but it's very clean. I'll go there again...it's worthy to try.

Went for an impromptu dinner here - only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table even though the restaurant seemed pretty full. Had a nice vibe of between datey and family dinners with a good bubbly atmosphere. Ticked all the boxes in terms of the food, service and price. Unexpected gem. We wanted to have a steak for dinner but the restaurant wasn't open yet, so we turned around and saw this Italian shop serving pizza. The starter, mixed cheese and salumi, set the bar quite high, and the pizza didn't disappoint either. I enjoyan Aperol Spritz and it had just the right amount of Aperol, and finished with Tiramisu. Fabolous. Super tasty pizzas, delicious toppings, cozy & vibrant atmosphere. So happy they opened in Brook Green! A very, very tasty pizza (#1 in my huble experience), fast and hot, and large enough to satisfy one's hunger after a whole day wthout meal! And you should probably take it with a cup of white wine (griggio if I'm not mistaken, I suppose they serve it straight from Italy).
