If you are looking for a halal Italian option, then this is your place. Great tasting food, reasonably priced, and the attention to detail with their service was great. You know how impatient little kids can be, well they were thinking once step ahead of me and had made his main meal at the same time as the adults starters which was for me a sign of great service which deserves the 5 stars.

I brought my family with 2 young kids after a long day sightseeing London. We were looking for comforting (familiar) food and we found much more than that. We were treated super great and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The pizza had authentic brick fire taste. I ordered a salmon and potato dish so good I ordered for take away next day. The food is amazing!! The interior and exterior design of the restaurant is well designed and looks cozy. The staff are welcoming and they gave us a delicious cake for free at the end when we were about to leave! 5 star!

Risotto was ok but nothing special. Two of my friends had sea food linguini, which they said felt more like noodles, yet they tasted good. Other friends had pizzas and said they were good too. The pizzas certainly looked great. There aren't any vegan dishes, but the staff is happy to add/remove ingredients if need be.

Truly a great example of Italian restaurant If you are looking for value and quality this place has got it down. Great Pizza! My choice of Pizza was a Garlic Butter Base and Chicken and Chips topping and then i went to Firezza to get their special Garlic Dips and that was the perfect combination!!!! Simolina seeds make the Pizza more crunchy!!!

The food took a very long time to arrive. The starter was delicious, but my main was veal escalope and I received 2/4 pieces that were fried so burnt they were rock solid. The portion was already large they'd have done better to just remove the burnt pieces of meat. Didn't have time for dessert as we had somewhere to be and the first 2 courses took over an hour and a half.

Everything was fresh, and tasted good, halal options available on request. Missed out on 5 stars because we had to wait 40 mins for the order. They did give us a complimentary dessert and were apologetic, but I suspect the delay was the recurring issue of prioritising delivery drivers.

Decent little place on Edgware road, very charming interior decor which highlights it's unique character. Pizza was tasty and of a good size but my friend ordered penne al pollo but he didn't enjoy it as much. We ordered the parmesan aubergine starter too which was also good - perfect for dipping crusts into. Service was ok - owner was a little short when asked about starter as we received pizza before (though it followed quickly after) but we'll put it down to busyness.

Great service - speedy and very friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were s good size too. My only complaint would be that the mushrooms in my calzone were undercooked which made some mouthfuls a little hard to swallow, but my friend's steak was cooked exactly as she wanted it. The lemon spritz was lovely. My friend commented that her mocktail was a little watered down, however. All in all, a nice experience - a little more attention to details in the food would really have let this place shine!

We were the first group there at 6pm reserved table, and they had 4 staff standing around doing nothing, they pretty much ignored us until we asked them to get us some drinks... then even longer to ask us what we wanted to eat, and quite rude when taking our orders and seeing other people to tables surrounding us. Nice little restaurant. Good quality/price. I came here by myself and was craving for good Italian food not too expensive. Spaghetti carbonara very good but was a bit disappointed by the fact that there is cream in the recipe (only Parmigiano and eggs should be the main ingredients) still very good anyway. Homemade tiramisu nice but not fatty enough. They should get rid of the none homemade desserts. Staff very sweet and calm, overall atmosphere lovely and interior design cosy. Good music choices. I will come back.

Pros: The Zonzo restaurant is quite near to the Edgeware Road tube station. The atmosphere within the restaurant is calm and cosy. There are a couple of beautiful paintings on the walls; and neatly trimmed plants at the rear of the restaurant. The food is delicious and staff are extremely polite. Cons: The reason I have given this review a 3* is because the waiter and waitress there, do not make any attempt to speak to you, even though it sounds like they speak very good English. For example, when I was there today, they had only 1 other table, consisting of a couple. Yet when the waitress took my order, and delivered the food to my table, she almost ran away from me, despite not being busy, and despite the lack of customers. Feedback where improvements can be made: My advice, would be for the staff there to please converse with your customers, speak to them and make them feel comfortable; do not alienate them, do not ignore them, even if they are from different backgrounds. If the the above advice is followed, I will upgrade the review to a 5*. I will also return to the Zonzo restaurant soon to see if my recommendation has been followed. Thanks Jay

Had an amazing lunch here on a whim. We stayed at the Hilton Metropole and walked here in ~5 minutes. I was a bit skeptical initially since we got there around 11:30 AM and it was completely empty. I ordered the Pasta Carbonara. Goodness. It was tasty and a large portion. Beautiful pasta and flavorful. I've tried my hand at cooking this and wish I could cook the dish this way! My colleague tried my pasta and promptly exclaimed 'that is very good.' We finished with afagados.

We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant which served all halal foods and found this ZonZo. A group of 10 of us went - a couple of fussy eaters and well-travelled gastronomes in the group - and drove all the way from South London not knowing what to expect. We ordered a variety of dishes and WOW! We were pleasantly surprised to say the least. Every single dish was authentically Italian and cooked to perfection. You will not be disappointed. Service was friendly, premises were clean; upholding all Covid guidelines and interior decor was very Italian. We had a really lovely evening. My only criticism was that the soft drinks were stupidly overpriced, so we ordered tap water with lemon instead. However, the the quality of food was exceptional.

We were visiting London last summer and were only there for 2 nights. We went to Zonzo on our first night frankly because it was close to our hotel. We went back the next day because it was some of the best pasta we have had! Beautiful food, great service! What more could you want?

Amazing management. If you are concerned about Covid 19 call 1st you can sit in garden area warm and cosy. Pizza fired in wood fire very Italian has Italian award. Wines amazing go for a medium size. Went here for my Graduation celebration as every other restaurant was fully booked. This is a nice hidden gem in Edgware Road. The food is delicious! The waiter we had was a real lovely man. Gave us garlic bread and olives upon arrival. When we had to leave quickly and had no time for a desert, he brought over a (bloody delicious!) piece of rich chocolate cake with an adorable little candle on it and said congratulations. That’s what I call thoughtful service. Have already recommended this restaurant to my colleagues.

I went to Zonzo for an evening meal with my family on the 1/11/18. I was very pleased with the service and food. Wais was so helpful and made us feel really comfortable. He was great with the kids and ran the restaurant floor on his own and managed a smile through it all. I don't write many reviews but felt I must after my experience here. I have only had problem with one delivery and when I brought it the there attention it was put rite with no fuss at all. Wen ever I have friends or family staying I like to take them to Zonzo for a fun night out. Zonzo never fails to deliver. Zonzo is in my top 5 restaurants.

Nice little place that was quiet during a late Sunday lunch. I was pleased with the Bruschetta - it was very flavorful and the bread was fresh. Lasagne was good as well - if I were to come back here again, I'd try some of the other pastas.

Italian hospitality and proper Italian pizza. I ordered for take away and they gave me a small plate of olives as I waited. My pizza was done in ten-fifteen minutes and consisted only of fresh, quality ingredients. It was up to par with many pizzas I've eaten in Italy.
