Small intimate restaurant, the staff were very warm and welcoming, the owner was so lovely and explained different elements to our meals. As usual I was too busy stuffing my face to take pictures but the food was beautiful. I will return again soon so I can take more representative pictures of the meal, I was simply just too excited!

This restaurant is AMAZING! The food is out of this world and the service is lovely. Its like having dinner on holiday in Italy. Maidstone almost doesn't deserve such a wonderful place... But it's going to help us get on the map. I can not wait to go back.

Popped in here unplanned to grab lunch with a friend. Staff welcomed us to a table where we ate some great food. Starters and main course were well presented and tasty. Two of us went for a meal the food was delicious and very plentiful! However we were very disappointed with the time we waited for our food to arrive 🤨 We appreciate the food is cooked from fresh but we waited over an hour and I think it would have been longer if we hadn’t asked how much longer when the couple on the next table who had ordered after us got their order! We still waited another 10/15 minutes! We didn’t order a starter just some olives delicious and nuts much too salty we sent them back and didn’t get charged for them!. The other thing we found difficult was it was very noisy but I think possibly because we were upstairs which is quite small and lots of people seated! I think we would love to visit again because the meals were so good but maybe not on a Saturday evening!

Visited La Villetta for my wife's birthday and happy that the restaurant did not dissappoint. Excellent service from very friendly but not overbearing staff. The food was top class with what you could tell were expensive good quality ingredients cooked superbly. The pacing of the meal between drinks, starters and main was great. Hate it when everything feels rushed or your left waiting an age between courses. We will definitely returning.

This is my favourite restaurant in Maidstone and have visited several times before. Came for a meal yesterday to celebrate my mums birthday and it was fantastic. Amazing, authentic food, relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff who ensured we had a lovely evening. We just couldn't fault it and will definitely be back.

Visited this lovely little Italian on a Friday evening. It's a hidden gem, understated but unforgettable for the delicious authentic food served. Service was unrushed which suited us perfectly for a relaxed evening date. Starter from the specials board - baked figs; pancetta - slow roast belly of pork with honey was outstanding; and the chocolate cake - you really have to try it, with ice cream, to appreciate its light, melt-in-the-mouth perfection.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here on only their second day of opening from Lockdown. The owner and staff were following all the boring Covid Guidelines to the letter but with the lightest of touches so we felt completely at ease and we received the warmest of welcomes as if we were old friends. The other patrons seemed like regulars and I heard one of the guests book his next table as he was leaving. The food is spectacular. I mean authentic and spectacular. I liked the weight of the cutlery, the proper starched napkins, the plates (chic earthenware style). We shared a generously portioned platter of meats and cheeses with homemade breads and dips. We moved on to butterflied prawns, ravioli, courgette fritters with the most amazing garlicky, mint mayonnaise. I don't think we ate anything that hadn't been prepared by the chef from fresh. The dessert selection was perfect and I swear even the coffee was nicer than a regular cappuccino. We finished with a chilled Limoncello which was like drinking alcoholic sherbert. The service struck the right balance between attentive and relaxed. This is an absolutely beautiful building and quite rustic inside. If you like a restaurant where the food does the talking then this is for you. Seriously great food, lovely people and they deserve the patronage of other people.

We dropped in late Friday, all the food was gorgeous. The Lamb shank was especially devine, would have that again. The staff know the balance of ensuring you have everything you need without overdoing it too which isnt all that easy when kids are onboard. We will be returning, thank you!

Four of us ate here and we had a very nice dinner.The service and food were fine. Sadly though I won't be coming back as a real problem for me is the service charge. I have absolutely no problem tipping but really dislike being told to do so. I know it's not compulsory to pay the "fee" but that's not the point, if the food and service is exceptional I might wish to pay more, if its bad food and service I may wish to pay less, or even none. The waitress told me that a service charge is common to most restaurants in Maidstone, I hope this is not the case and in my experience have not found it so.

An absolutely perfect experience. We hadn't reserved a table, but the owners bent over backwards to still get us in and we are so grateful. Very friendly service, but the food.... Absolutely delicious! Carefully selected fresh ingredients in all the right proportions to create stunning dishes. We all were very impressed and truly enjoyed our meal. And the prices are more than good. Dishes like we had would cost really a lot more in any restaurant in Belgium. Anything else to add? Yes, this is the first time I've written a review on a restaurant. I normally don't do it, unless for exceptional things...

Have just been for a meal this evening. What an amazing place. Lovely lay out and interior design, friendly and attentive staff, and then the food..... it was amazing!! Everything was cooked to perfection from the scallops to the steak. It is hard to find a place that can cook food to this high standard. A very big well done and thank you for a pleasant evening to the staff. We shall certainly be returning customers.

A pleasant little Italian restaurant with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options plus meat, poultry and seafood. I enjoyed my meal but my dinner companion found her veal unacceptably tough. In fairness the restaurant offered a replacement and didn't charge for it, and the chap at the next table said his veal was fine, so maybe just a one-off.

Welcoming staff and delicious food, but a star has been removed because of the pricey drinks. £17.60 was charged for two glasses of wine, and I was not given a bill to be able to check the figure. I queried the cost at the time, and was assured that it was correct. If going there again, tap water will have to do.

Everything is freshly made and the service is at a steady pace you can see its well organised. This is one of the best Italian restaurants if you want the real deal without the frills. The food tasted amazing, actually way better than some of the top Italian restaurants in soho and west london. I was curious as to where the chef was from, and was informed that he’s originally from Lecce. The chef’s love and passion for food is truly reflected by the food experience you get to enjoy at this rare gem. If you are a Londoner, don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the restaurant. The food is really I mean really worth it. Grazie chef, alla prossima :)

So thrilled to have found a typical Puglian restaurant in Maidstone serving delicious Italian food with typical dishes from our home towns in puglia. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Amazing cured meats selections with buffalo mozzarella, peppata di cozze, polpette, linguine allo scoglio, orecchiette and fantastic meat and fish dishes. The place had been advised by a colleague and we wanted to see if the reputation was deserved or not. I must admit that we were conquered by the quality of the dishes as well as the service! We first opted for platters to share; the escalope / salmon then finishing with pana cota. Everything was very good. We were so comfortable; that they had to put us out! :-) Place to advise; but remember to book! (Original) Nous cherchions un endroit sympa où nous pouvions dîner à notre aise tout en discutant des différents dossiers en cours. L'endroit nous avait été conseillé par un collègue et nous voulions voir si la réputation était méritée ou non. Je dois avouer que nous avons été conquis par la qualité des plats ainsi que du service ! Nous avons d'abord opté pour des plateaux à partager; l'escalope/saumon ensuite en finissant avec des pana cota. Tout était très bon.
