A nice large restaurant where it was easy to get a table for 8 on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly and enthusiastic waiter. Good menu and nicely decorated for a chain restaurant. Only major disappointment was the number of menu items unavailable. When sat down we were given a list of items that could not be ordered so at least there was no confusion over what we could have.

Myself and my girlfriend come here often. Never been let down, consistently amazing pizza. I'd highly recommend to go with the pepperoni, packed with flavour. Or keep it simple with a margherita.

The customer service was great. I had ‘Rustica Picante’ pizza and passion fruit cocktail. The pizza was too large for my liking and it was too crusty. The drink was perfect.

Love the Maidstone branch. Turned up on spec in a busy Sat night and were warmly received - busy but managed to fit us in due to a few no shows. We had the fixed price menu i.e. 3 starter, mains and dessert (£23.95 i think). I had the King Prawn Spiedini and my partner the Bruachetta, both excellent. Mains for me was the Rustica Piccante pizza - my absolute favourite - nice thin crust, plenty of topping and a nice spicy kick to it. Partner had the salad which she rated as good. Both had the tiramisu for dessert which had plenty of flavour to it. All ordered via the app whichbis accessed via QRS code on menu. Food arrived quickly and served by lovely staff. Absolutely spot on in terms of food quality, value and service.

We had our work Xmas do at Zizzis last night and the staff were fantastic. A special mention to Fraser, who made the booking process really easy and was happy to answer all my questions and requests prior to the evening. Fraser welcomed us in and showed us to our area, which was perfect for the number we had. Alex, looked after us through the night and was equally helpful and attentive. The food and wine were delicious. A great evening, thanks to the help of Fraser and Alex. Thank you.

Amazing experience. We don’t live in the area , but will definitely be coming back due to the incredible service we received from tash. I have to say I have never had such a pleasant experience. How many excellent new wave, chain Italian restaurants has Maidstone got? Many, Zizzi is, as is the case for all that I have tried, excellent. The restaurant has loads of room; there is even more dining space upstairs. I do like the bright dining space, brightened further with an array of sparkly fixtures. The centre piece of the restaurant is the food preparation area with its huge wood fired oven. It brings a smile to the face when I see this setup. I know the bread is going to be phenomenal. Yes, the bread was phenomenal; all dishes that I ordered were. I loved the rustica Quattro no magi pizza. Sweet “cheeses”, cut to your own requirements using the pizza cutter. This Naples style pizza melted in the mouth. Service was smiley, chatty and attentive. Food was served promptly and piping hot.

I love going to zizzi's at Maidstone because the food and the waiters is very good. The food is very good and the waiting time is not that long even when there is lots of people. Me and my fiancé came today and were served by Luci. She made such an effort and her attention to detail and service was amazing. I can honestly say I am so happy with the service recieved from this Zizzi. Toddler friendly restaurant with a lovely kids menu - plenty of healthy option. My 24 months old had the fish goujons with roast potatoes and tender stem broccoli and a glass of milk. For me, I chose the spicy piccante rustic pizza and it was lovely and my husband chose the chicken option - which would have been nice too if he hadn't tried my spicy pizza! My brother had the piccante pizza and I thought it seemed a little too oily. Otherwise, staff were too busy to be friendly but they were courteous. No reason for us to complain but also nothing particularly spectacular which blew our mind away.

Speedy online ordering system is the best one I've used so far as it keeps a running tab for your table so you can pay at the end.

I hadn’t eaten at Zizzi in years and didn’t have high expectations - but actually everything was delicious. Even though it was a takeaway, the meal was high quality, the packaging had a nice attention to detail and overall nothing had any of the “pre prepared chain restaurant” feel. The staff were also flexible on some special requests I had so all and all I’m very impressed.

Went with my family lunchtime today & have to say everything was excellent. The accessible toilet is one if the cleanest in Maidatone! So well done to who ever does the cleaning in there! We ordered rustica pizza as they're not doing other pizzas at the moment so I asked our waitress if I could not have it too crispy & when it came it was absolutely delicious although it didnt have any pine nuts as stated on the menu. Served piping hot so well done to all the team at Maidstone Zizi's . We were also able to get in for an early booking & pay 50% less for our meal. I have never had a bad meal at Zizi.....always found it excellent. It's such a shame that you've changed the decor & esp all the beautiful light fittings you had previously! The food was lovely. We were forgotten about to which we had to remind a member of stuff that we needed our children's deserts as they were getting restless because we had been in there a while already. The children's activity menu was great at keeping them busy for a little while I just wonder if they could have a couple of different menu activity sheets so that they don't all have the same in doing so the activity sheets would last longer.

Pasta wasn't cooked properly and the personal service is removed due to covid rules, so the fact that you were forced to pay a tip was a bit of a liberty . I prefer to tip when I get great service not just as an accepted fact to dining out

We popped in today as we were looking for somewhere to eat after our little shopping trip. When we entered we waited at the counter for a staff member to seat us, another couple came in after us but left after waiting approximately 5 mins and still no member of staff, we were hungry so we waited a further minute or so. My husband ordered a pizza which he said was ok. I ordered the sea bass in butter sauce, kale with garlic and fried potatoes, the fish was ok, the potatoes were also ok ....just under half the plate was covered in undercooked kale and broccoli STALKS...yes stalks, i love my veg so for me that was instantly disappointing. Please make sure you cook the veg properly, it was hard and unpleasant and i couldn't eat it. Presentation was also not great, for £16 it could've been better.

I've seen many Zizzis around, it's a fairly prolific chain. But this was my first ever Zizzi experience and it was good. Between the cosy environment and the warm welcome of the waitress, it was a haven on a particularly chilly night. What really impressed me was how unique and interesting the dishes on the menu are. We shared a garlic bread with mozzarella starter, which took the edge off our hunger. For mains I tried the pasta with wild-boar meatballs. It arrived initially with no meatballs, but that was soon rectified and the end result was tasty. The other dish we ordered was a pizza and it was pretty good too. I will definitely keep Zizzi in mind when looking for a casual dining option.

The good things; Decent Italian food. Nice atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. Nice to see Italian beer on the menu. Crowded, yet cosy and not too loud. Nice street the restaurant is in. However, strange for an Italian restaurant not to know what cappelini spaghetti is. Obviously they did not have it. We asked for the kids spaghetti and got (charged) the kids menu. The mozzarella was a big hump on top of my spaghetti. No bread to dip the sauce? Pitty. Overall: apart from the details, I'd recommend it to my friends.

We visit Zizzi on a monthly basis because of a certain calzone on the menu for my other half and I've tried at least a quarter of the menu myself. I would like to call out the courteous and professional manner of the lady who called our party of 9 to explain that the vouchers we wanted to use were only valid for groups of less than 8.
