Lovely atmosphere generally speaking and the food was delicious - however the garlic bread starters could do with a portion summary as we were pretty shocked at the size of it having not visited before! Yes great value for money on the garlic bread, but felt bad for waste when we couldn't eat it all. Would return, we did enjoy the food very much. All staff were warm and friendly when they did interact with customers. Our only glaring issue with BACI at the time was the service, we could see that the older gentleman was run off his feet but the younger members of the team were stood about, or not returning to tables to check-in with customers. We waited for what felt like ages between drinks and receiving the dessert menu for anyone to come over - it actually changed our mind, and we decided that we no longer wanted a dessert. Before we chose to come to BACI it wasn't actually clear that you had a cocktail menu anywhere online, we were very happy to see that you had one upon arrival, but this was not apparent in your social-media or Google presence - I think it would be great to make this more obvious because that was almost the difference between us going elsewhere due to the wishes of our party.

First time at this restaurant and it was amazing! I'd heard good reviews but what drawn me to it was the Gluten free pasta which did not disappoint but not only was there GF pasta they had pizzas, garlic bread and deserts! And thr staff were lovely and so friendly! The whole night was absoloutely amazing, definitely our new favourite place! Can't wait to go back again

First time at Baci. We booked tonight because they do a 3 course meal on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for £15.50. Were told when we arrived that they weren't doing this tonight because it's a bank holiday. Shame they don't say that on their website. Service wasn't the fastest and I had to ask twice for a glass of tap water before I got it. We both plumped for mushroom starters. Mine which was a flat mushroom with ricotta and spinach topped with goats cheese with a tomato sauce was delicious but the mushroom could have been bigger. My partner had the garlic mushrooms which was a good sized portion but he felt it needed more garlic but this is personal taste. We both had pizzas - calzone and pizza romana. Very impressed with both. Thin dough and good toppings/fillings would definitely recommend. Large enough portions that we took half home. Finished with honeycomb ice cream which was nice on the first few mouthfuls and got a bit gluggy towards the end. House red was soft, very drinkable and a good price. Grappa was very smooth. Latte was nice. Would I go again YES.

Great experience. If you're doing mains and starters can easily share. Got the garlic bread with tomato and cheese and husband got the ribs. For main I had the salmon pasta and husband had the steak with peppercorn sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly. Really lovely place to eat. Will be back

Staff are very attentive and friendly, menu is extensive and the food is genuinely excellent. It sometimes worries me when a restaurant has 30+ dishes to choose from, but somehow Baci pulls it off. I went with a few other people and we ordered a wide selection from the menu; bruschetta, anti pasti, pasta, meat and deserts. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Really a great Italian restaurant.

Meal was average. Had chicken breast, tomato sauce, vine tomatoes, chorizo and ONE little prawn! Side of veg with boiled new potatoes and the potatoes were cold in the centre. Wish I had what my mum had...looked good and she enjoyed it!

Nice atmosphere, fantastic service and the food was lovely. The only downside is that there is no designated parking area, you would need to find somewhere near. However, we would definately return.

Lovely food ! Lovely staff 👌 i had the fried mozzarella bites to begin- absolutely gorgeous ! Had chilli king prawns with rice and lemon sauce again couldnt fault it ! For dessert mango sorbet very tasty and light ! . the staff and host were very friendly. We had our table booked and showed up 5 minutes early however the table was waiting for us so was seated immediately. Everywhere was clean and sanitised i felt very comfortable eating here and will most certainly be returning soon ! Thankyou for a lovely evening.

Really nice place. Attractive decor and feels like a nice restaurant to visit. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The food was 50/50 unfortunately. We had the homemade chicken liver pate which was the best dish of the night. The pate was smooth and delicious, with a nice side salad and bread. We also had the prawns in garlic and lemon sauce. This was a bit odd, as it came on a plate with rice and the sauce overlapping. The taste didn't really stand out and was a little beefy for some reason. This dish would work better being in a ramekin and the taste needed more sharpness and seasoning. We had pizzas for main. Although the dough was of a good quality almost neapolitan, the pizza lacked enough seasoning. But the main issue was there was far too much cheese on top. It smothered everything and lost the flavours of the toppings. I think the food would be excellent with a few tweaks.

Lovely food great service. We went for our 20th wedding anniversary and this is the first time in 29 years that I've ever seen my husband completely clear his plate. I was a bit disappointed, I wanted some of his pizza it looked delicious.

Had a midweek meal here for 11. The restaurant was pretty quiet. Good service, nice food, friendly staff. Loads of meals on the menu and there is a specials menu too. You wouldn't know it but there's quite a big car park at the back, it just said private car park on the sign but the owner reassured me it was for customers.

3 out of 5 more than fair. It’s above average but not quite good if that makes sense. Didn’t blow my mind but reasonable quality for the price. Pizza was probably best thing on the table, 7 out of 10, but I ate about half the menu and thought most of it was fairly average. Carbonara way way too creamy, cannelloni was reasonable but was basically just lasagne but called a cannelloni. Dessert was relatively poor. Beautiful venue nice service and reasonable prices makes it a 6/6.5 out of 10.

My friend, my daughter and I decided to try the newly opened Baci restaurant on Saturday lunchtime. We arrived and were greeted warmly. We were seated and swiftly ordered a bottle of the best white wine and a garlic bread with cheese whilst we were looking at the menu. The time was 13:45. The waiter (an older Italian man) came over quickly afterwards to attempt to take our order. We asked for some time to look properly at the menu. He left and return a couple of minutes later. Again we said we weren’t quite ready to order. He then proceeded to tell us that they were closing at 2:15 following lunch. We were astounded that we were expected to order, rush our food and drink a £25 bottle of wine with 30 minutes. His attitude changed quite quickly when we asked why we weren’t informed of the closure when we came in and why he allowed us to order a bottle of wine without telling us. He became abrupt and quite rude. Given his response we asked for the bill. At no point did he apologise for the misunderstanding or offer any part of the bill complementary. We paid the £30 bill and left. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Love the Harwood Baci and have been going for many years. Will not be inclined to return to the new Baci Whitefield - given my first experience.
