First time at Due Amici and I was impressed, the restaurant was spotless and well laid out a very nice place to eat and I will certainly be going again in the future . I would say it's Walkdens hidden gem. The staff were very friendly and helpful the service was excellent the food was absolutely amazing, I did find it a bit odd that you could only have veg or chips with your steak 🤔. Some of the drinks were a bit pricey but there was something for everyone's budget.

Fresh, hot, absolutely delicious dishes! Best Cheesy bread I've ever had. Food came fairly quickly even though the place was almost fully packed. Lovely staff. Ambience was great too.

For a local Italian it's good, not the best but don't misunderstand the food we had was really good. The fillet steak was large well cut and cooked as I asked. Try the aubergine fries to go with your meal. The pizza base was really good and cooked great. I had a mojito which was just as good as the best I've had in Barcelona, although not as strong! For a last minute birthday meal (other restaurant messed up) it saved the day. Recommended for a causal friendly meal.

Tried the special (Tomahawk) this time. Magnificent! The lovely waitress remembered I like my steak rare/blue and very tentatively informed us how to get the best out of the meat. STUNNING! They usually sell out of Cheesecake, but I got some tonight and it was WELL worth the wait! How do I give more than 5 stars?

This was our first visit to this fabulous restaurant in nearly 4 years and we certainly hope it won't be another 4 before we're here again. We received a warm welcome, the service was impeccable and the food & wine were delicious. The 3 hours we spent here passed far too quickly. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank in particular one of our waitresses, a young, Greek lady called Elena(?) She took several photos of us at our request and was very charming & funny. She's a real asset to your business. Really look forward to eating here again! ❤ Grazie! 👍

Amazing restaurant, service is next to none. Food portions are great, great range of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits. Always lovely music playing. pizzas, pastas, grill dishes. Nothing is too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit. We got the sharing starter and a pizza and pasta dish. I has king prawn pasta and was over the moon with the amount of prawns I got :-) We are hoping to go back soon with the kids in tow.

Enjoyed my 60th Birthday family meal here, with the sun shining and sitting on the veranda it felt so comfortable we could have been anywhere. The staff were so polite and friendly really went the extra mile, being very friendly with my 16 month old Grandson he loved the attention. The food was really good everyone enjoyed everything, we all had a really brilliant time, I would highly recommend a visit.

A friend treated me as a surprise for my 60th birthday. Italian wouldn't be my personal choice however, tonight's experience has really changed my mind! I have been going to this restaurant for at least 30 yrs as i live very close to it within a five minute walk . But its excellent food and the staff also excellent service at a very reasonable price .its very nice decor and it matters to me that you can see the chefs at work .and the toilets are immaculate which is a massive bonus in my book . Please give it a try . It doesn't have its own carpark but you can park in the street nearby .

Really lovely restaurant, booked for our 6 year anniversary. When we arrived we had our pick of seats so we sat in the nice outdoor section which is actually covered and has heating for those colder months. The staff were super friendly and attentive, we were never waiting for long. The food also came out very quickly and was delicious. I had the mushroom starter and spaghetti meatballs for main, both of which were tasty and left me wanting more despite being so full! I only wish I had taken photos but I was too excited. Everything was decently priced too, we spent about £70 for 4 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine. Overall, very happy with my experience here. Would definitely come again to try the rest of the menu.

Me and my partner went to the restraunt to celebrate my 40th Birthday recently. We've never been before even though it's close by. I have to say I was so impressed with the attentiveness of the staff to every customer. The young girls who work the floor are very polite and informative and attentive. It actually felt like I was enjoying an Italian meal in Italy. The food is top drawer. Thank you. We will defintely be coming again.

Went for the Christmas special. Booked in at six for 10 people. Sat down at 6 20. Very busy . I just think they overbooked and gave the chefs and staff too much to do. Had starter at 7.20 . Must admit all of the party was very satisfied with the food. Main came at 8.40. What the party got was the not the best . The turkey Christmas Dinner out of five who ordered there were no two dishes the same. The amount of veg we received was shocking small portion. For £70 per head it was appauling. During our meal it was noted how little the staff came over to see how things are. I think they knew it wasn't the the best

Just moved to the area and thought we would give this a go for date night as we love italian food. We booked a table for 8pm Friday, the place was busy and had a nice atmosphere. We were served with drinks straight away and ordered our food. The appetizers with with us so quick considering how busy they were and then they gave us the option to wait for the mains or have it right away and we were starving so we chose the latter. I was expecting the appetizers to be small but the Caprese was a big plate and the food tasted so fresh! I then had the ravioli which was incredible and my partner had the steak which was worth every penny. We both had the chocolate fudge desert which was a generous portion and tasty. My only gripe here is there's nowhere to park so we scoured the streets for a gap, next time we will just get a taxi but the restaurant, food and staff were all fantastic!

We have eaten here several times and generally the food has always been first class and good value However we have Just had two pizzas,Garlic Bread half and half,Cannelloni and King Prawn starter as a Takeaway Pizza Picante and Cannelloni and King Prawns all good However Pollo e Parmiggiano Pizza did not impress and Cheesy half of Garlic Bread was a little rubbery Slightly surprised that no difference in price for takeaway Don’t think we will use for Takeaways again

Love this place. It's on the pricey side, but the food is excellent. The fillet steak is the best I've had, and of course all the pasta dishes are fabulous. I really like the atmosphere at Due Amici, the staff are so nice .... friendly and polite too. There isn't a car park for the restaurant but on street parking is available. This place is good for couples or larger parties. I would recommend booking in advance, although I have seen people just call in and get a table. If you haven't tried Due Amici before and you want something special.... give it a go.

First visit for me despite living quite close. We were quite a large table celebrating a relatives birthday which sometimes restaurants struggle with (imo) but no, friendly, polite attentive staff, absolutely beautiful food and a lovely atmosphere. Reasonable prices too, will definitely return.

Arrived to find our table for four had not been entered in their book, definitely booked the meal a week earlier so awkward start to evening. Found it difficult to attract the waiters attention, eventually when taking our order it seemed all very rushed and the ladies felt pressured. My husband and I decided to have a meal out at short notice I read the reviews which were good so off we went and we were not disappointed the food was delicious I had chicken in a shallots and mushroom sauce With fresh vegatables and was worth every penny my husband had a pizza with a delicious side salad. Staff were friendly considerate and accomodating. The food itself was incredible, for example, Steak Rossini (a steak on a crouton with Pate on top) is a dish that only the very best Italian restaraunts are capable and confident enough to make. This place made that dish perfectly, I was in a part of four, we tried a lot of dished and nothing was a dissapointment. The only thing I hate about this restaraunt is fact I dont live around the corner from it.
