Went on a Friday night, really busy. Staff were lovely and friendly but could tell they was over worked. Would recommend the potato croquettes for starters, they was nice. Had pizza for main, but found the pizza to dry. You don't any dips for the crust & not enough cheese on the pizza. The meat on the pizza was full of flavour though. Was a nice atmosphere, very Instagram vibe inside. Overall had a nice time, but not in a rush to go back.

Table of 17 booked had a fantastic evening! Incredible staff made sure everybody ate at the same time and nobody was left gagging for a drink! The atmosphere and overall look of the place is very nice, clean and tidy. There's an opening you can see through to the kitchen which is always nice as I feel that kind of transparency proves that hygiene is not an issue here! When ordering I had the lamb and was asked how I would like it cooked which is brilliant! Normally at other places I've been it's just slapped on the plate well done but to have a chef cook it a perfect medium well as lamb should be, was the cherry on top! As for the taste.....incredible! Highly recommended 11/10

I went to Rome a few years ago, and this place is just like the small but larger than life restaurants I ate in. The atmosphere is authentic with friendly, attentive staff. My partner and I only wanted a small bite to eat, so I decided upon a few tapas dishes, and boy, were we wrong! These tapas dishes were huge! Honestly, we had to be seated from our table for two to a table for four so that all the dishes could be put out! My partner and I couldn't stop laughing 🤣 Actually, I obviously didn't realise how hungry I was because I managed to get through most of it. The food was so delicious and fresh, helps that I absolutely adore italian food too. My only gripe is that more vegan dishes could be added to the menu, please 🙏🏼

Been in here for few times, the food is always nice. However the cocktails are served in warm glasses straight out of the dishwasher. They do replace to a cold glass on request, but it does add to the wait.

Walked past on a few occasions and thought it look very nice from the outside! Came up for my uncles 50th and was excited when I found out the meal was booked here. Table of 17 people and everybody got food at the same time, there was no stupid wait time for drinks either and I'd say they were very busy that night so a credit to the team and management staff! As for the food....well.....wow!!!! I went for the lamb and I was not disappointed! Packed full bursting with flavour it was cooked to perfection just as I requested! All washed down with a cocktail again made to perfection! Can't fault anything about this place at all 11/10 will definitely be back!

First visit last week but won't be last! I had the wild boar pasta which was lovely with a good protion of rocket and parmesan salad. My partner had a Pizza which I had a slice and it was really good. I'd say as good as Rudy's. Definitely like to try a few more dishes, gutted they didn't have a lasagne which is one of my favourite dishes. Service was brilliant.

UPDATED: Really good quality food, especially if you step away from pizza and pasta. Seems to go from strength to strength. Upgraded from 4 🌟 to 5. Original: We've been here a few times now and it's pretty good for a family meal or for grown-up time. The setting is nicely done, stylish but relaxed and the food is good too... The menu is split between small plates (like Italian tapas) and pizza, pasta and specials, it's good and provides solid dining options. The service can be a little slow but is very friendly and helpful. All in all, a nice place to spend an hour or so. Decent bar too!

Visited to celebrate a wedding anniversary after being recommended. The food was absolutely stunning and beautifully presented. The aesthetics of the restaurant were in keeping with the Italian theme. Tables were clearly socially distanced, and whilst there were plenty of other diners, there was still ample spacing between parties. They have a clear one way system for guests entering and leaving. The only "hiccup" was that we ordered half a roast chicken and the waitress misunderstood and served us the whole one! It was an extremely generous portion but absolutely divine! Loved it so much I revisited the following weekend with a friend. Strongly recommend the rosemary foccacia bread - home made dough and absolutely scrumptious dipped in the home made meatballs and sauce.

Justice for the sesame seed pizza! My wife, child and I had dinner at Mulinos recently and I had a real desire for one specific item which unfortunately wasn't on the menu. My wife and child had an incredible pair of pasta dishes and the pizza I ended up picking was delicious. Mainly it was the staff here that shone, alongside the food. Couldn't do enough to help and super friendly. Just please bring back the sesame seed and smoked cheese pizza

Very busy when we went. Staff were very good but we waited for some time for drinks and food to be served. The food was very good actually. However the area around the passe appeared very cluttered and food was piling up to be served. I was a little disgruntled to see our waiter serve rocket from a plastic bag with his bare hands. Would go again but at a quieter time!

It's nice to have somewhere in Urmston that does good pizza, has an interesting menu and is willing to offer something a little different from the Italian job and Mamma Maria. The pastas are great, namely the wild boar ragu. The pizzas were also really good; nice fresh dough with a good choice of toppings. The gamberoni main was the only disappointment really - £8= one overdone shell-on prawn and 6 peeled, cold ones in a fairly basic tomato sauce. We were also sat next to the kitchen so we could see other gamberoni going out with two large shell-on etc. So. Outstanding fritto misto on the starter though - in hindsight I should have ordered this instead of the gamberoni main. Also the antipasto starter £7.95 and a board full of salami, cheese, olives and bread. Plenty for two and really good quality. Reasonable wine list. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo £17.95 was good value. It's getting there 🎉

1st time here. After moving away from Davyhulme 11 years ago we returned to visit friends for a night out. Milino was an obvious choice. The atmosphere and environment was comfortable, the service excellent. I had booked a table the day before but when I arrived at 7 pm my booking couldn't be found, which was rather strange. However, a table was hastily found despite the restaurant being absolutely full. The staff were so nice and helpful, and the food was very good. Not a huge selection for non meat eaters, but I ordered a dish that included ham and the kitchen were very happy to leave the ham out. The quality of the food was very high, and I will certainly visit Mulino again.

The problem we did have was at the end, the bill made no sense to me and neither the manager but she was not happy that I was querying it. Don't get me wrong, with this eat out scheme, its cheap enough anyway. But when random £4.50's added to the bill and I want to know why, the staff member shouldn't huff and puff and storm off.

This was my first visit. Firstly I have to say that the food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. However, the one problem my party had was noise. The place needs some acoustic tiles or something. The noise level when the place is full is unbearable and it is impossible to have a conversation. This is a serious problem they need to address.

Perfect! We had the most lovely mother's day meal, there were 5 of us including two toddlers. This is by far the best restraunt in the area. We had a few of the cicchetti/tapas to start and then there was a mixture of pizza, risotto and pasta orders for mains and we couldn't fault anything. Went for a meal here with my family on a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed so it was a good job we had reserved a table a week before. Unfortunately, what hope we had of a quiet, relaxed night out was spoilt by the noise of people speaking loudly so much it could be considered shouting and children running around screaming. None of the staff told the parents to stop their children roaming around when waiters were busy delivering meals to tables. The food itself was decent but not what I would have expected for the price. However, I must say the focaccia and campagnola pizza, delicious, the best I've tasted yet. I chose Cannola for dessert. Unfortunately, the menu deceived me as I had expected ricotta, candied orange and strawberries. Instead the cannola was filled with an unappealing chocolate slush and a two blueberries on either side. I asked a waiter why I hadn't been given what was on the menu. Apparently, they change the cannola dish each time. My advice would be to change their menu more often or simply put underneath cannola- ingredients subject to change. Imagine if they added nuts to the dish and someone with a nut allergy ordered it. The service was somewhat rushed and noone asked us if we were enjoying our meals. I may come back here and give it a second chance but in the week when there is a more relaxed atmosphere about the place.

I think I chose the wrong dishes, everyone else in my party enjoyed their food. There were several dishes that we were told were not available (we went just after Christmas so maybe to be expected as they hadn't had a delivery). I opted for arancini to start, this was ok but small and the croquettes tasted better. The fish platter starter was huge and much better value! I then chose the prawns as my main which was very disappointing. Firstly they forgot my order so I had to wait after everyone else received their's. The prawn dish consisted of about 5 average sized prawns, nothing special about the dish and very small. You had to order side dishes separately which meant it was a very expensive meal. I ordered two sides which I'm glad I did as one wouldn't have been enough. The pizza and pasta dishes looked better.

I've never actually been in to Mulino Urmston but have used them a few times during lockdown and I have to say WOW! If you like real, authentic Italian food then this is the place for you to go in Urmston. The food is sublime on every level from fresh tasting ingredients to being cooked to absolute perfection. Last ordered from here on father's Day and they even brought 3 free bottles of Peroni 'for the father' which I thought was a nice touch. I will definitely be a regular in this place as soon as lockdown is over and I can't wait.
