Visited this place a few times and I have enjoyed it each time. The staff are super friendly and so welcoming. Last time I visited it was my partner’s birthday and they brought out a lovely cake and sang to him, really made us feel at home. The decor inside the restaurant is great and the food is always spot on. A place I’d always return to.

Visited Porada Sunday afternoon having not been there for about four years and had booked a table for 3pm for three of us. On our arrival at the Reception area I would say the greeting wasn't the warmest welcome I have ever received, even so the guy on reception got some menus and asked we wait a moment. He then took us to a table upstairs where we ordered and had some lovely food. We were served by two young ladies who had no conversation other than taking our orders and another waiter 'Spanish George' who was very warm and friendly and went out of his way to please and who more than made up for the lack of 'warmth' from the other waiters. A smile and some manners cost nothing to customers !

The starters and pasta dishes were good but the two steaks were tough (one was the fillet). The worst part....We had what seemed to be the head waiter and he was rude. Very abrupt in conversation, had no time and was unhelpful with the wine menu.Then snatched the menu and drinks menu from people on our table once the orders were taken. Such a shame as it's always been a great experience in the past. We won't be going back on account of the waiter.

Nice large modern style building. Comfy and spacious seating areas both indoor and outdoor. On arrival my partner and I decided to have drink in the outside area before moving inside for food. This was no problem for the team who made us feel very welcome. The food was lovely! Had a starter main and dessert and everything was super delicious! Afterwards we went back outside and relaxed for a few more drinks and ate desserts outside as well. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting. Great food great team great experience 👍

Mixed feelings about this place, been 3 times, first time food was lovely, second time, the waiter was quite rude and came across like he was getting annoyed for no reason at all, language Barrier maybe? Anyway, once again food was good, then visited a 3rd time couple of weeks ago, place was clean, had bruschetta for stater which was such a small portion for the price literally finished it within a minute. The veg and potatoes i ordered with my steak were very hard & chips greasy undercooked… And once again ( different Waiter ) an older Italian man again, quite snappy and rude, even my 12 year old son noticed it, he said mum he seems like he’s getting annoyed…. For absolutely nothing, all I was doing was ordering some simple food, seems their heads fall off if you ask for something a bit different… I wont be rushing back which is a shame as I planned to visit with my brother and sister in law as I have been telling them how nice the place is.

Have visited Porada since it first opened Recently went for lunch with a friend. Great food as always but rude waiter, basically kicking everybody out at 2pm. No offer of dessert or coffee, no 'sorry but we're closing now' Just the bill slapped on the table and ushered out while he's there waiting for you to leave with his coat on!

Food and staff were excellent though they had accepted too many bookings for the number of staff. This meant long delays in getting both starters and mains.Too be fair they did call it on themselves and apologies, waiving the starters as compensation without us requesting Definitely worth a visit but book an early evening timeslot and accept to make a night of it in pleasant surroundings.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is always lovely. The steaks are to die for! The staff are always so warm and welcoming. by day you can take the kids (its even baby friendly) and all pizza and pasta is £6, and in the evening it's a lively place with great food and wine, or you can be tucked away for a romantic meal if you wish. My friends booked the upstairs for my baby shower and they decorated it for me, the staff even joined in the games!

This place is most of the times busy which in my opinion is a good sign to start with. I went there on a Wednesday night, they had live signing, the customer service was really good and the food incredible! We had pasta with different types of sea food and a similar starter, the dish was simple in ingredients but so full of flavour and proper done. We went for our Granddaughters 21st party and most of the party went for the Sunday 3 course special for £13.95, we weren't expecting large portions, or at least not as large as the normal menu portions. How wrong we were! Starters were excellent, all served withing a very reasonable time and well presented and hot. The mains were also good portions, well presented and cooked very well indeed. I had the Tiramisu sweet and it was delicious! No complaints form any of our party (10) Staff were attentive and friendly and other complaints online about it being cold inside were forgotten, (it wasn't). Not a cheap venue, but reflected in quality of dining.

Great service but the food really wasn’t great. The meatball starter was really below par - literally just packed (with what tasted like cheap) mince into balls with a tomato sauce on top, no seasoning in the meatballs at all. There was Parmesan on top but I’d clearly got the last bit of shavings from the block as I had a wedge of the crust too. The gnocchi main was better but was it just “alright”. The wine was decent and the service was really good. I’ve wanted to go for ages as it looks lovely from the outside. It has a great atmosphere. In fairness, it was very averagely priced and I guess you get what you pay for.

Love this place I would highly recommend. Fantastic atmosphere they usually have entertainment on either someone singing or playing an instrument. The staff are really friendly. Its always clean and the food is really nice. They have very good vegetarian options and the cocktails are nice too

Amazing food and a wonderful steak. Wine is excellent especially the amarone della valpolicella. Calamari is very good and it has a lovely atmosphere. Location is good and has some limited parking available. Decor is stylish yet relaxing and has a nice vibe to an evening. One of the better restaurants in white field.

Me and my partner came here for date night, we ordered prawn oglio, calamari fritti, ceaser salad and nduja pizza. After some miscommunication on our part about boxing up our leftovers Veljo (our waiter) and chefs prepared us a whole fresh pizza for our troubles. Our local Italian restaurant that we normally frequent was fully booked, it was late afternoon on a Sunday and a last minute decision to eat out, so we checked the internet for a nice alternative near to us. We decided on Porada after reading their great reviews. I can't believe I haven't heard about it before. It is large, very stylish and imaculate, like an expensive city centre establishment, which can sometimes be a bit up themselves, so I was hesitant on entering. No need to worry, we were warmly welcomed in by the friendly staff. Some of our party chose from the main menu my husband and I chose from the set menu as it was good value, there is only one vegetarian choice on the set menu, so it was limited for me. We all really enjoyed our meals, which were well presented and delicious. The staff set a high standard and service is very professional. I look forward to our next visit.

The staff and environment were 5* for sure the food looked amazing. however we ordered everything gluten free for my husband and when it arrived it looked very disappointing. The pizza bases were shop bought ones and we have been to plenty of restaurants where they have made a great gluten free pizza without a store bought base. I wil say Everything was very tasty (the pizza toppings, olives, pasta dishes) I would 100% recommend this restaurant to those without celiac disease. And we will go back but just skip a gluten free pizza.

Service: We have been in Porada more times than I like to mention but one this is that the staff are always on form, I have never had a bad service there, especially when it is a birthday function they pull out the stops to make it that little bit different and special. So much so my kids prefer going there for their birthdays rather than other restaurants. Food: It is always of high quality and portions are just right, again I've never had a bad meal in Porada.

Just been to porada, was excellent. Service was great, everyone was really friendly and the actual restaurant is modern and very well kept. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the pizza I ordered, but it was my fault as I thought I'd try something new. However as cheeky as I felt, when I asked the staff to replace it they were incredibly professional and never made me feel like an awkward customer. And the replacement pizza was delicious! Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We love Porada the food is always top notch but we won't be back till they get some heating installed - it was freezing on Sunday with folk dining in their coats - and the poor staff were really suffering. Come on guys get some heating installed - or as a quick fix some mobile heaters!! It's great to have a staff dress code but be realistic, let the staff wear warmer clothes or heat the place properly - this is not Italy, it's Bury and it gets cold.

A real mix - both the food and the service. Our starters were underseasoned and average. All you could taste of the fritti was the batter. The mains were better, the pasta was nicely al dente with good flavour to the sauce. The man who was seemingly in charge was a really nice guy and on it, but others seemed completely out of place including one who seemed to want to argue with me about which wine I was trying to order - very odd.

Service impeccable but the food is lifeless. The chicken liver pate had been almost liquefied, it was truly disgusting. A gloopy, grey, mousse paste which I'll never forget because of how tragic it was. I can't even remember my main since the unforgettable starter has pushed it from my mind. Chicken livers in a madeira sauce would work a lot better and would justify the price. Anyway; good points! Wine was good quality and the weekend entertainer was fun and upbeat; the atmosphere is lively and the ladies toilets are clean and warm. I will visit again but be avoiding the pate.

Superb is the only word to describe Porada, food, service, ambience are fantastic. It's not the cheapest restaurant to visit, but I feel that you get what you pay for. They do a good price lunchtime menu so it's worth maybe visiting at lunch and then see what you think re an evening outing.
