Lovely traditional Italian restaurant. We chose this over a chain hoping for real Italian, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was excellent... Maybe we waited a little too long for our main courses to arrive... So slow down on the wine I ordered from the specials menu, pasta with potatoes, green beans and pesto... It was a little creamier than I had expected from the description on the menu. My son had the pasta with prawns off the main menu, it might have mentioned chilli but it was so spicy made him light headed... I tried it and have to admit I couldn't have eaten it... I was going to mention something but my son asked me not to... So I didn't. Wasn't quite as I had expected but never the less we had an enjoyable evening

This was our second time eating here and we really enjoyed it. The decor and feel of the place is lovely and the food is very tasty. A good authentic Italian restaurant. Our waiter Lee was great and made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Couldn’t quite finish the pizza as it was quite large but they boxed it up for us and we enjoyed a few pieces the next day. The staff here can’t do enough for you. Will look forward to another visit in the future.

Just walk-in to this restaurant around the corner of city center, a small entrance and it’s not big inside. Luckily not many people on Sunday afternoon. Very traditional and classic Italian style decor inside for dining area, with an English bar table reception. A number of choices on wine and drinks, but would love to see more selection for red wine. Several choices on starter, ranging from soup to bread and salad mostly. Didn’t tried the main, but the pasta section is enough to pick your favourable one although don’t know why risotto is classified under pasta. Food quality is exceptionally good. Of course you can’t compare it to those Michelin 3 stars restaurant as the price for food in this restaurant is more affordable. But considering the price and food quality, it is very value for money. I tried the Ravioli All’ Ara Gosta, it’s like Tortellini with Lobster meat crunch inside. Very special and good match with tomato and bisque sauce. The minestrone soup is rich with vegetables which I recommend personally. I don’t like the Pate much as the chicken liver taste very different from Foie gras, but given it is my first time to try chicken liver, why not give myself a trial.

The food here is very good with a kitchen that prepares lovely Italian dishes, but for me it is not a place to go for a special date or somewhere to make an evening of it. We had a luke warm welcome when we arrived and a raise of the eyebrows from the hostess. We were a couple of minutes late due the taxi taking us in a circle and we did apologise for this. We were sat at our table and recieved our drinks order. However the food seemed to be taking a very long time 30 mins + so we ordered some bread and olives to keep us going. That also did not appear. Tables who had arrived after us were already eating. By the time our starter arrived we had drunk half of the two bottles of wine ( one white one red) . That being said, when it did arrive it was delicious. My aranchini were very good and my prawn and asparagus risotto was fabulous. Other favourite dishes were the king prawns, lasagne, lobster ravioli and the home made meatballs. I would give 4/5 for the food and 3/5 for the restaurant experience.

Good restaurant with very nice interior but average food.Staff is very nice and attentive, food is ok but without "wow"factor,drinks are great!I might back there for a drink,,,but not for a food.My cheesecake desert tasted like whipped cream on cookie base,it was tasty ,but it wastnt a cheesecake, carbonara was a lack of sauce ,we didn't have a parmezan cheese on the table or olive oil.Overall food is ok but overpriced, but is bettter go there and try itself:)

Came to this restaurant with my mum on a off chance on a busy Friday afternoon. Staff were so sweet and accommodating. We didn’t have a main meal but had appetisers with a side for lunch, the food was so fresh and tasty! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, reminded me of being a stunning New York restaurant at Christmas. Highly recommend I absolutely loved this place, I have recommended to friends and will visit again when I’m next in Manchester. Thank you very much ❤️

This is a lovely Italian bar which serves from drinks to Italian cuisine and more. It is located in the center of Manchester. You can enjoy yourself here before or after shopping. We came here for the first time and had a wonderful dinner. We ordered calamari and pork rib as antipasti. Our pasta dishes were Spaghetti Alla Carbonara and Paccheri al Frutti Di Mare. We enjoyed their homemade lemon gelato in the end. The food was very delicious and freshly prepared. The average cost for a three-course dinner plus drink, in our case, was ￡32.9 per person. (No service charge!) Another reason why we had an incredible experience here was the friendly staff. The owner and a waitress were in the front during our visit. The owner came to our table and a table near us personally (more than once!) to check whether we like the food or not. We also had a nice chat with the waitress from which we learned that they are serious about their food. For example, the waitress told us that they made pancetta and meatballs from scratch. It seemed that the owner and we were all enjoyed talking to each other so the owner gave each of us a shot of limoncello for free!

Vincenzo is definitely a hidden gem of Manchester; if you're in the mood for good Italian food at a reasonable price, this is the place to go for sure. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable, staff were friendly and give a good amount of attention without being overbearing. Nice venue, traditional Italian feel with good ambience and a friendly welcome. Menu has some vegan / vegetarian options, although egg is listed on one of the “vegan” pizzas, so best check and verify. We were told that the cheese is vegan on some dishes with mozzarella. Menu overall is a little different to the standard Italian dishes you might expect and commonly see. We enjoyed the food, and service was very friendly / attentive. Prices quite reasonable too, cheaper than we usually pay for 4 people, at around £118. No tip on the bill, so tipping is your choice as it should be (yes I know it’s optional when added to the bill, but the default is that you pay 12.5%). Overall, very impressed with Vincenzo after one visit, we will certainly be going back. A good find, given the decline in other manchester Italian restaurants, one of which is more obsessed with their celebrity clientele history than serving their existing humble clients! ;-)

Went here last week for Mother's Day treat, it was well worth the visit. Had olives and breads to start, fiorentina pizza, followed by tiramisu, it was all delicious and well presented. This is the best food both my fiance and I have eaten in 10+ years. When I say everything, I mean everything is absolutely fantastic. The customer's service kicks this review off really. From the phone call booking the table, to the drinks service (attention to detail and snippets of knowledge) to the food service & checking every course you have is to your liking. I'm writing this before we've even had dessert. I've never been more confident about reviewing something before I've tasted it in my life. Every member of staff is courteous and most of all they actually care. They aren't asking you about you're experience because they have to, they're asking you because they really care. The atmosphere is brilliant. A really nice combination of background music. The lighting fits to restaurant perfectly. The building structure and decor is fantastic and gives off a beautiful, authentic Italian experience. If you're looking for an Italian. This is the place to go. If you're looking for the best Lasagne you'll eat in your life. This is the place you have to go. If you've read this, this far, and you still haven't booked. You will regret it.

We went on a Saturday night but hadn't booked. Our fantastic host told us we could sit outside and have a drink and he would try and fit us in. In less than half an hour he had found us a table. We had starters and mains which were delicious and the staff were superb, very friendly and courteous, allowing customers to walk up the isles before them and all had lovely manners. They couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go again.

A nice little spot for some Italian food. The manager was extremely welcoming as we arrived and were seated straight away. There was some delay in our order being taken, and again with cutlery coming to the table. The food was very enjoyable, and a nice atmosphere added to the evening. A short wait and a chase up of the bill for a second time is the only real negative of the evening but I would recommend for good quality and affordable food.

We are visiting Manchester from Exeter Devon, fortunately we found the perfect venue for a wonderful evening of food and service delight: service was second to none administered by Leo from Seville, who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Coming to this restaurant is an experience! You come for the beautiful cozy interior, but you stay for the superb service and authentic delicious food. What a place, it all felt so intimate too. Lee, who served us, was the best waiter I have ever had. He checked in on us, but in a non disturbing way, always making sure we weren't talking at the time and at all times keeping an eye out if we needed anything. He was most helpful with the menu and so so charming! Lee, you're a star! Make sure you try the Spaghetti Aglio Olio E Peperonicino. Such a classic, but they made it taste so special! I will be back!

Visited here last week with my boyfriend and the food and service were unreal. The venue itself is beautiful. We had the garlic bread and bruschetta to start and it was so fresh and tasty, service was really quick too. We then both had the Carbonara for our main and it was amaaaazing. I had been craving pasta for days and the carbonara here was exactly what I needed! Portions were also great, as was the Rosé. I definitely recommend to anyone going to Manchester to have dinner here, so much more authentic than the Italian chain restaurants that are around. Vincenzo Trattoria was recommended to us when we stayed in Manchester for a long weekend, and I'm really glad we listened to the recommendation. We both ordered pasta dishes, and I had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino. The pasta was cooked to perfection and everything tasted fresh, it was clear that quality ingredients had been used. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and the restaurant itself had a great ambience, perfect for couples. There are lots of Italian restaurants in Manchester but I would certainly recommend Vincenzo Trattoria to anybody visiting the city or for Manchester locals.

Absolutely fantastic! Authentic Italian experience. My pizza was absolutely top drawer—significantly better than some I've had in Italy, even! My wife had meatball pasta and loved it. I tried some of it and genuinely can't remember having tastier meatballs. Desert—chocolste fudge cake—was as enormous as it was delicious. We were sharing one, which was plenty. Really highly recommend!
