Restaurant that immediately attracts your attention, the cuisine although influenced by English culture, remains quite tied to the Italian tradition. Delicate and well balanced dishes. In particular the cooking of the pasta was very good. Excellent customer attention, a little less variety of wines. By the way it's a great place to dine.

Absolutely perfect Italian restaurant. The food ordered was all delicious, well presented and the staff were all courteous and professional. Everything ordered looked and tasted just as you'd expect from a top level restaurant. We will definitely be back, so glad we stumbled upon this place. Sorry we didn't have change for a tip! Absolutely stunning experience. The food was so fresh and the seafood was amazing. The Sea bass special was out of this world. The manager managed to get us a table a short notice and the service was brilliant. The staff were very warming and welcoming. I will be coming back. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a classy evening

Amazing atmosphere and food, I never really leave reviews but this was SPECIAL- we couldn't get in the place we originally wanted to go to so drove around and found this by mistake. Got a table outside and it was in the sun which was lovely. Staff were amazing super friendly and omg the FOOD! Potato skins were best I've ever had, so crunchy and well seasoned I would go back just for them, then we had the cod wrapped in pancetta which was great, lovely presentation. Cocktail was also great. It's the type of place where you can't wait to go again 👌

Great menu. Easy to locate on Osborne road. Food is delicious and the place has a very cosy atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. The calamari antipasti, lamb pasta and caramel cheesecake desert were all fresh and homemade. Would highly recommend it for a couple or family night out.

Lovely homely restaurant with great food . It was the first post lockdown weekend but we managed to get a table . The pasta was delicious and the cheesecake amazing ! Friendly and courteous staff too :)

Very impressed with the quality of the food. Fresh fish and meat products. The starters were delicious and came out on time. Very friendly and efficient staff. You want to try out their lamb dish, really superb. This is definitely a 5 star restaurant that I recommend trying out if you are in the area.

Very very impressed with this restaurant. We were booked in on a late notice by the friendly staff on a busy friday night. They were very friendly and polite. The starter calamari was fresh and delicious. The lamb melted in your mouth. Highly recommend!!

Very impressed by this place. Food was tasty and that Aperol Spritz was amazing, super zesty. Thankfully it stopped raining when we went, so sitting outside was rather nice. The service was quick and responsive. Staff were friendly and chatty. Recommend booking for an early slot as it got busy quick after 6.

.Just had Sunday lunch here for the first time and I was blown away with the food here. My wife and I had Brushetta Antico to start which was lovely and a nice size followed by my wifes chicken dinner and my beef. My beef dinner came with a large Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, creamy potato mash and a side of carrots, broccoli and cauliflower and it has to be the best Sunday dinner I've had. The beef was so delicious it just melted in your mouth and I finished off with a creme brulee and a glass of red wine each. The staff and service were great and the price was excellent at £17(+3) for the beef and £16(+2) for the chicken dinner for 3 courses. In total £56 for the best 3 course Sunday dinner in a long time. Will definitely be going back and recommend you try this place yourself. 👍

Never been to Jesmond before, were there for my husband's birthday, staying at the Caledonian. Had a walk out looking for somewhere to eat. Came across this lovely restaurant. The food was fab, I love Italian food and this did not disappoint. Service was great and early bird deal was amazing. More than enough to eat. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a nice meal and lovely surroundings. Thanks guys 😊

I know this is an Italian restaurant but I got the Sunday roast on Easter Sunday and it was amazing. Incredibly generous portion sizes so we were all stuffed (in a good way), delicious tender meat and all the trimmings. It was also covered in gravy which gave so much flavour to everything, especially the veg and mash- nothing worse than somewhere being stingy on the gravy! To really top off the experience, they were more than willing to go off menu for one of our guests and the service was friendly from start to finish. I would definitely return, perhaps to try the Italian food next time if I can avoid the temptation of the Sunday roast.

Service was great. I had parmigiana to start, this was very good. Main course was pizza Regina margarita, the dough was too tough so it was hard to cut, but the flavour was nice. I had a side of the asparagus with butter and parmesan shavings, very nice but I had to ask for more parmesan. I would come back, my Italian partner wouldn't.

Staff were polite as possible in a busy setting. The food was nice but the side dishes were so late that my main had to be eaten before it went cold. Ifound that because it was so busy, too many mistakes were made and, consequently, failed to meet my expected standards. Maybe, had it been quieter, those standards could have been met.

If you haven't been to Antico Jesmond then I think you should maybe try it.... On arriving we were greeted and shown to our table... Not once we're we rushed... The staff member who had our table was an absolute diamond... And girls he was rather dishy.... Just ask for Chris.... And the boss himself isn't shy on working either...i do believe his name was Antiono...Chris took our drinks order and we pondered over starters... His suggestion as there was 6 of us was to order a few starters that we could share... The pane e olive.... Bucce Di patate... Funghi trifolati... Caspesanta... And the pate was to die for... After tucking in we ordered main courses again nothing was rushed and I expected to wait as the restaurant was filling up... Again not disappointed and I was not willing to share fillet steak.... Now I like my desserts and the tiramisu is light and very moreish... a great night with great friends great service great food... Thankyou all the staff for a superb night.... We will be back
