If you are looking for a cheap, cheerful and filling meal, you can't go wrong with this place. Promptly seated, waitress came over to take our drinks order. Moments later she returned with the drinks and took our food order. Food was just as rapid and great. Really can't complain at all for 6.50 for 3 courses. We'll be back. 👍👍👍

Cheap and good quality Sunday Lunch. Always forget to take a photo of the food. The veg is underseasoned but perfectly cooked. The portion of meat is good I had 3 thick (5mm thick) large slices of lamb. My wife a similar portion of beef, lean, no fat or gristle. My daughter had a child's portion of chicken. We couldn't really see a difference, just marginally smaller than the larger adult dinner. Loads of tasty gravy which meant we didn't have to add salt or pepper to the vegetables. Friendly and attentive staff, they could do with making checks for drinks more often, but it shows the lack of pressure and relaxed atmosphere.

I went to pick up a pre-ordered Pizza. Prompt, friendly service at a good price. The eat-in atmosphere is also very good; the menu is good and it's an excellent place to eat out in. In the centre of Whickham with good parking nearby.

This restaurant is our favourite whether it's for an intimate meal for 2 or a large family event. Service and food are consistently good. Oh and the cocktails are a lovely added bonus

It was very busy, but we were greeted at the door our booked table was ready. The service was excellent, the food was delicious & we had a birthday cake which was brought to our table candles lite & the cream we asked for was no problem. What a lovely restaurant! It is always buzzing in the evenings, which is always a good sign. The pizzas are delicious and the pasta dishes really tasty. It is really affordable and family friendly. People often have birthday meals there and it is also a great place for children's birthday meals (7 yrs old and up will love having all their friends around a table at Deano's and affordable for the parents). This is not a place just for families. In the evening, you will see businessmen, middle aged people or older people. It's a place for everyone. I recommend booking a table for an evening meal.

Visited for valentines day. First visit. Low priced menu with medium to good quality food. Definitely great value for money. Nice decor and the place was done out with heart shaped balloons for the occasion. Waiting staff were quick and very friendly. We will definitely be going back. This will now be our regular "affordable" Italian restaurant 😀

Went one lunchtime. Parking is behind in a council car park....fee is very cheap... It's a nice looking place once inside...has a modern feel. The food was cheap...we paid about £16 for 2 3 course meals and glass of wine each. My partner loved her pasta dish...i went pizza and was a little disappointed by a soggy/ slightly undercooked base. I would definitely try the place again

Absolutely love this place. We went twice in a week, the first time we had 7 people and the second time we had 16 people and both times the food was superb and the staff were so friendly and helpful. One of the times we went it was for someone's birthday and if you take a cake along with you and give it to the staff they bring the cake out after your meal and play happy birthday. Would really recommend this place to anyone whether there are only a couple of you or there are a lot of you they will accommodate your needs.

A cheap and cheery Italian restaurant that serves up absolutely delicious food. The lunch and dinner offers are amazing value for money. Sometimes there is no drinks license and you can bring your own beer so be in mind of that. Great location.

Booked this having visited one in Lanchester previously as had read reports that it was good but none of us had actually been. I had booked a table for six at 5.30 on a Saturday afternoon. First impression on entering was that it is bigger than it looks from outside, modern and was quite busy. We were quickly taken to our table, drinks were served and food ordered quickly. I won't bore you with the details but the food was excellent, my friends wife's fillet steak was the only disppointment as it had been over cooked more on the well done side of medium than the rare which was requested although the rest of ours were all cooked as requested and I have to say one of the nicest I have had in a while. The only slight disappointment on my behalf is that the crouton that is supposed to be the base of a Pizziola steak was missing but the steak and sauce were delicious. I would have only knocked off a half point for this but unable to on the star system here. Food was accompanied by several bottles of a fantastic Italian wine. Overall great food, good value for money and we will definitely be returning soon.
