The food at La Famiglia is absolutely excellent. They often have fish and seafood specials which are tremendous. Their Sunday roasts are also fabulous and only around £10 each. I have to recommend the Chicken Skewers and Seafood Sharing Platter, as well as the Caprese Salad (my fiancee is a strict vegetarian). NEVER had a reason to complain about anything I've had here in over 4 years of attending this super-friendly restaurant. And they do have WiFi for device-obsessed patrons, but the password is "Talk2eachother" as they're trying (and succeeding) in promoting a great, chatty, quiet music, friendly and welcoming eating place. Well done to Rob and the rest of the staff. One of my top 5 eateries in Newcastle.

This place is amazing! We rang and booked a last minute table last Saturday night on our journey home from Scotland to Wales. The food was excellent! Lots of vegetarian dishes to choose from and plenty of choice for a fussy 5 year old 😂 The food came quickly and the staff were fantastic. They were brilliant with my hungry and tired nephew who can’t wait to go back soon haha! Wish we lived closer! Will def remember La Famiglia and go back next time we are up north! Highly recommend!

Good quality rustic Italian food, at a respectable price. As a first time customer, we arrived late unbooked, on a sunday afternoon. The staff were outstanding, asking if we would like drinks and delivering to are table, as we choose from the menu. The starter of scallops taste fresh and just out of the pan on bed of minted peas. The meat was cooked to order and the veg still had a nice crunch to them. I will return just to try the fluffy crispy roast potato . Well worth visit if you can make it.

My friends arranged my retirement meal here at La Famiglia and it was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience and the food was fabulous . Nothing was too much trouble and it was certainly something to remember. I will certainly be eating here regularly from now on and can’t recommend it enough whether it’s for two or a big occasion La Famiglia certainly delivers.

Excellent! This place was recommended on trip advisor and had a lot of good reviews, thought I would take my family out to try and test it ourselves. We where not disappointed. Excellent service, you're welcomed with a sea of smiling faces by the staff who are happy to help and are good at what they do. The interior is nice and bright and tables are a good distance apart. And the food itself is delicious and well priced. I have found my go to Italian restaurant. Tip: the menu is on the photos section of the restaurant's Google page, you have to scroll right to the bottom. Enjoy!

I ate here for the 1st time 2 weeks ago, my partner Yvonne had prawn cocktail starter, followed by the chicken familiar main course answer absolutely loved both dishes. For my own choices, I had garlic mushrooms for starters, followed by fillet steak for main. Again both dishes were fantastic, steak was cooked to perfection. All the La Famiglia staff were very welcoming and really genuine people. It's a shame there are only 5 stars on the review, this restaurant deserves more. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent service from start to finish! Our table had more than 20 people, and I never felt like we were waiting around to receive our drinks and food. Everyone's starters came out of the kitchen at the same time, and so did everyone's entrees. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We love this restaurant so much, had the takeaway special new years eve, the staff are fantastic with kids, we are regulars but rob, swareck and amber are exactly the same wether your regular or first time visitor, we have had steak, to pizza, pasta, sunday lunch, chicken and each dish spot on, often get takeout calzone n garlic bread and my daughters football team had their crimbo meal december in there and every girl said had great time and loved their pizzas lisa, stephen and steffi foster.
