All of this for £ 6.95? This is a hidden gem for sure. Penne arrabbiata wasn't exactly real Italian penne arrabbiata but I didn't mind it because it was still pretty good. The soup was delicious. Ice cream was okay, but all this together was great. Thank you guys!

Staff were very friendly. This is a cosy place to eat. The desserts were OK but the cheesecake didn't taste home made. We had veg lasagne which was pleasant but slightly sloppy. Would have benefited from more cheese and less liquid I think. From other reviews I gather the restaurant has signature dishes but we are veggie so were limited..

What an incredible find! Looks like nothing special from the outside but this is a hidden gem! Seriously spectacular food. We were a family of five and between us we tried the pizza the pasta and the steaks in sauce and we were blown away by the quality. And the prices! There are several family friendly Italian restaurants in Gosforth but I think you absolutely cannot do better than this one for quality and price. Five stars no question.

Friday evening dining. Starters all good as were the main courses. Only negative comment was the amount of rice that goes with the Stroganoff, could have done with more than the teacup full. (Rice presented as being filled in a cup then overturned onto plate) Prices were reasonable but like everywhere the cost of soft drinks are too high when compared to what the cost. Staff were friendly and offered goid service. Best time to go Mon-Thurs during the discount times (see website)

Went with two other couple's for the lunch time special Xmas menu that only cost £8.99 each for three courses. Three choices per course with a Xmas dinner as part of the main course which I had. All the food was hot when it was served and came at suitable intervals. My main was followed by Xmas pudding and custard. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend this establishment for a very reasonably priced Xmas meal with great friendly staff.

It's quite a small and quiet Italian restaurant. The staff are kind and definitely there to make sure you are happy with your food. The pizzas are quite big and their chunky fries and potato skins are amazing!

1st time at this Ollie and Joe's and the service was OK polite staff but lacking some knowledge of the drinks they served.I asked what brand lemonade they had and server no know went off to get im guessing manager and he just said draft ...tried to explain I don't like certain brand and he came back with yes it has sweetners in it...I let it go and went for a pre bottled drink...as neither of them had any idea of what I was asking about...food served hot and nice....but glad I have no allergies as the staff would have no idea and putting on an Italian accent doesn't help....I know he spoke plain English as I heard him over at the bar. ..Will use another O&J next time our Preference is Prudhoe....
