Came here today , 2 adults , 1 child and a baby. Restaurant and toilets are clean . We had the buffet , which is really good value for money . Serving staff were extremely helpful and good with the children. It wasn't very busy , I imagine it could get pretty busy at night with its location. I've not been to a pizza hut in years but couldn't say anything bad about it ..

Amazing Service from Abs and Her Crew who helped me with the self-serve aspect as I have cerebral palsy and disabilities with anxiety and they helped me at the salad bar with the bottomless drink refills and the ice cream factory. Such great service and such tasty food 😋. The Newcastle team are a credit to the Pizza Hut restaurant Empire.

I have never ate at a Pizza Hut before, and I was a loose end one afternoon so I thought I'd try it out. I can't believe I have waited this long to have Pizza Hut, I know you get restaurants where they are certain speciality such as Chinese, Italian etc, but damn Pizza Hut sure do some of the best pizzas I've ever tried and I have tried Pizza's in Italy, France, Spain and the USA, little did I know, I only had to pop 30 mins down the road to get a phenomenonal pizza and service. The desert was so tasteful too! Will definitely be back!

Really good Pizza, lovely Raspberry sorbet as well - the spoons provided for desert were quite dirty however with a bit of food on one which was a bit of a let down after a wonderful meal.

One of the best places to have a quick fix in 'The Gate'. Although, either we were late or due to some other reason, many of the items were not subject to availability. Despite that we were able to have our stuffed crust pizza. For Vegetarians, they have a very limited menu, which in my opinion, they should broadened a bit, but the taste and aroma is worth the hurdles I mentioned earlier. The staff is very warm and assistive, never showed any signs of annoyance, while answering our numerous questions. Final word - 'Go for it'.

I was most impressed by the efficiency of the staff in taking our order, which had to be done through the app, and the quick delivery of our food which tasted brilliant 👏😀. The only let down was that, as it was late at night, there were no hot drinks to be ordered as the machine that makes them had broken down. I was glad we were not rushed from beginning to end as the restaurant was set to close soon after we entered it. Well recommended.

My wife has mouth issues with spicy food.We went to Pizza Hut in The Gate in Newcastle on Tyne for a buffet. Having explained the problem 'Andrew' our server took my wife to the Buffet and explained the content of the Pizzas and the salad buffet.He made some suggestions as to which would be best for her and showed us to our seats The buffet was, for us, excellent and my wife and I enjoyed the experience I did feel that Andrew went over and above his role in our circumstance and we are grateful for his concern and support We will be going back the Pizza Hut in The Gate!

Great staff, cozy chairs, amazing vegan menu — avoid salad bar, got food poisoning. Edit 5/2/19: I raised my concerns with the restaurant chain and I was heard as a customer and contacted appropriately to clear out the situation. I was very happy to hear how generally food is handled at the Pizza Hut restaurants and how the restaurant will take an action to investigate the case and ensure anything like this won't happen ever again. Excellent customer service and very devoted restaurant area manager. Thank you!

Friendly quick service with plenty to choose from, bottomless pop and salad and buffet options on pizza and pasta too. Wasn't made to feel uncomfortable feeding my baby at the table who's breastfed which is a huge thumbs up from a me, Staff were very nice and approachable. Highly recommend for mums like myself and families alike. My older daughter loved using the icecream machine herself too.

Having been to lots of different Pizza Hut restaurants over the years, this Pizza Hut restaurant is one of the best I have eaten in. Food was lovely and spot on. Cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant was spot on also including the toilets. Andrew and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Will definitely go back soon. Thanks

Went here with the kids during a trip to Newcastle. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Pizza was served hot (and was delicious) and fizzy drinks were ice cold. Great children's menu and the children were given an activity sheet and crayons when we arrived. Excellent.

Very helpful, courteous staff. It was my first time on their £7.50 buffet (I didn't even know they have buffet), and really, couldn't fault the staff; the salads, pasta, and pizzas served were top notch. Will come again, definitely recommend. :)

Late at 9pm reception lady generously offered free salad which was good variety and quality. Hot out of oven pizza !!! I only wish they hadn't put lots and lots of stale onions deep in the toppings which gave odour smelly to pizza. We didn't report as restaurant was almost closing. Ambiance is great.

The service was outstanding both waiters were very kind and helpful. We were approached the second we stepped through the doors. We asked about the weekday buffet that they do and was explained immediately and simply what they did ect. Then shown straight to our table, told where to order and pay, showed where to get refill drinks and where the food was. He then told us his name and let us get on. Definitely will be going back! We also went with a 1 year old and they were totally understanding of the fact that we needed space to put the pushchair and possibly space for a high chair. (I say possibly because he was out for the count when we first got there, but in typical baby manner he woke as soon as I sat back down with my food) but the high chairs where kept clean and in an easily accessible and easy seen spot.

Could be better, still scrimping on the cheese as usual and far too much balsamic vinegar all over the top of the goats cheese pizza which overpowered all the other toppings. Cheesy garlic bread with hf a teaspoon of cheese on top is not acceptable, especially when the menu says topped with melting cheese, there wasn't enough to melt. Service was still good considering the social distancing measures.

Food was lovely staff pleasant, but I wonder what has happened. A few years it started with self serve on drinks. Now it has basically gone to you queuing up and putting your order in at a till poi t and paying much the same as Nandos. The thing I am thinking about is. The machine still asked me if I want to pay a gratuity, it was well after I sat back down that I thought what the hell have I tipped for. They should just go the whole hog and make itself service till points.

Pizza hut is a chain Italian restaurant, pizza fast food... It's okay, can't say it was exceptional or bad. Depends what level of pizza authenticity and experience you are after. The only thing was it's changed from a waitered service to self-service?

Great service on a very busy day (St Patrick's Day) This was the perfect treat that never disappoints especially when I was feeling worse for wear. The garlic cheesey bite extra definitely added to the pizza in an even better way and as always the pizza was top notch

Absolutely bloody mint, pizza's are very crunchy and the floats are written down by Tacitus as what made the Roman Empire fall. The salad bar is a luscious excapade from my life of marxist exclusionism as a lush green field, but with a lot of blue cheese. the sides are a meal on their own so gratifying you would think the restaurant is Pavlov, and after a long walk and some runs, I am the dog! And like a docile Rottweiler, I will return in late January. I rate 10/10, can't wait to see what that spicy midget fry's up at my next visit.
