I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life (friends don’t call me “Greasy Liam” for nothing) and I’ve gotta say, the cylindrical food discs they’re making over at Pizzeria Italia are something else entirely. These pizzas aren’t just reasonably priced, they’re so delicious they’ll make your eyes water. Don’t buy a Dominoes. Just, stop. Be kinder to yourself. You deserve one of these instead. Also the staff are really lovely even on super busy evenings. Honestly, there’s some nights I’ve popped in without pre-ordering and there’s 15 people in the queue and they’ll still be friendly when I get to the front. If I was them I’d be throwing bags of flower around and punching the dough, but no. They’re all grand. Anyway yeah I like it here you should try it out. Sorry the picture is naff, I was drooling loads when I took it and I couldn’t get a decent angle because I was making my phone all wet.

Wow, Absolutely delighted to find this place. Tucked away around the corner from the main Four Lane End shops this is an authentic pizza place that does take out as well as sit in. Small inside so probably best to book. The pizza is up there with the best in the city. Highly recommended. Phone ahead to minimise the wait. Fantastic.

Expand your business, you're the only place that does traditional Italian style pizza and I'd honestly expect you to thrive with deliveries. Do it!!! Who needs fancy tableware, cutlery and decoration! My family loves this little place and it's pizzas! Fresh, tasty ingredients, most delicious dough and a good chat and laugh with lovely Lisa and Rick is all we could ask for a great meal. Since they tasted pizza from this place, our kids don't want to eat pizza anywhere else. The best recommendation is our 9 y.o. daughter's opinion: "Mum, this is the only pizza that doesn't taste and smell like plastic."

Amazing pizza, amazing service! Why would anyone want to use Dominos at South Gosforth when they could come here for a fraction of the cost and get a far superior pizza?

Ignore the negative reviews about new ownership, I had put off ordering from here due to the reviews until today, the pizzas were excellent, probably better than the previous ownership. Ignore all these reviewers being overly critical on the new ownership, yes the pizza's aren't exactly the same and the toppings have changed but the pIzza's here are still the best in the area by a longshot, the base was amazing when I went, we loved our veg and salami/olive pizza's. Some people don't seem to be able to get over the fact that times change and will happily tarnish a new busineses reputation as result.

Lovely staff keeps it real and simple - without unnecessary ingredients you can have a true Italian pizza right here at Longbenton. We just had an amazing pizza followed by an awesome Italian marocchino and latte - served super fast by cute couple (the owners) - what else would you need? Most recommended! And we will definately keep coming back!
