Great value, the female waiting staff were lovely. Food was what you'd expect for the price. Male waiter would be better suited stacking shelves. Plates landed on the table like he'd dropped them from a great height. He cracked the table behind us up by actually throwing the menus after taking their order onto a spare table. He let out an audible sigh when he saw we were still eating and couldn't clear the plates. Drinks, yeah, food yeah, throw plates at table, leer at girls coming in to collect takeaway.

Smashing old restaurant. Have not been in years. Garlic smells as you go through the door no bulbs spared lashings of it on the bread that you know your gonna smell the next day of but we don't care!!. It's a reasonably priced Italians with a special board that's nearly as big as the menu. Great pizza it held it's self up it was crispy on the bottom and golden cheese on the top, not to much anchovies and the right amount of olives made a good pizza. Sea bass and muscles in a garlic white wine and lemon sauce was nice. Two fillets on a bed of juicy plump muscles with a choice of sides. £7.95 Pizza £14.95 for Bass with muscles. Plenty of parking no step to door.

Enjoyed a very good afternoon there today with friends. First visit for 3 out of 4 of us. We all enjoyed it. Food was lovely nice relaxed atmosphere even though it was busy. Only thing was it took ages to get our bill we asked for it three times and it was 15 mins before it came. All in all though very nice and three course for £5.95 amazing

We come here regularly and always enjoy the food, the pasta is well cooked and the sauce tasty and thick. The pizza is a thin crispy base with great flavour and the rib eye steak is one of the best I've had. They do a special offer of 3 courses for £4.95 during the week before 5pm which is fantastic value. You are always served very quickly with a smile. Cheers guys we'll be back

This is part of the Sambucca chain. The menu is typical Sambucca's with some more options. The food quality is superior to any other. It has the benefit of both. Chain prices and local quality pizzeria. Well looked after, great location.

No bad. Just the usual. Expected from this kinda place. The vegetables was fantastic and fresh very tasty. Mushroom was lovely. But the bread could be fresher. Lots of greedy fingerprint marks on my plate did not appeal to me. Food could have been a lot fresher. Had a chicken Kiev & it was as of it had been precooked. It had fridge burn on-top of the outside meat. You can hide a lot of sins under garlic butter. As a x chef for years. I know and imagine this sat in a container in fridge for some time uncovered. Basic - you get what you pay for. I would go again. Just to see if it had changed. Bianconero in chillingham road. Is much more presentable - same kinda food. And lovely. Fresh - amazing service.

Food was nice, so was the atmosphere. None of the staff wore face coverings however and kept the door closed. Usually this wouldn't be a problem but as covid cases are rising at the time of this review, restaurants need to be very careful. Especially when the staff are right next to you taking your order.

I always enjoy the steak or chicken from the grill with lashings of pepper sauce which is to die for. The best home made chips in town. The staff are always happy to accommodate fussy eaters too. Great food, lovely little restaurant (with an adjacent room for larger groups/parties). Great menu with a specials board - every time I've ordered from the specials board it's been fab! Especially the King Prawn Tempura! Some of the biggest and freshest prawns I've had cooked to perfection! Tried the Lamb Shank which was melt in the mouth. T-bone steak was huge! Lovely homemade chips too! Good selection of drinks. Attentive staff - not in your face every five minutes which is good! Amazing lunch time specials deals with the same lovely food as the normal menu! Worth every penny!

Very busy place, many people waiting to sit down. I recommend you book a table in advanced. We are a gay couple and felt very welcome. The best Italian restaurant I've been to! The pizzas are divine, it's amazing value for money and has a lovely vibe. For £7 you get a starter, main and dessert. I definitely recommend the Bolognese pizza or the Inferno pizza. Would be a cute place to go on a date or to meet with friends. Definitely will be returning!

Been here a few times now and never had a problem. The staff are fantastic and never had a problem with any meals myself or the party I have been with have ordered. I'd recommend this place any day. I had family over from Australia and met up with them here and they loved it. Even opened the other side of the restaurant for us as they didn't have a table big enough for us all. The waiter kept on comeing in to make sure we had everything we needed and if there was anything else we wanted. (Also to see what the score was for the England match) lol. Well worth the visit and the food is defo something to go back for.

Bring an empty tummy for Sunday Lunch 10 inch pizza plate. Filled with meat of choice lamb beef pork or chicken 6 sides of vegetable and a large Yorkshire pudding. With Gravy to die for. Let's not forget the starter and pudding courses. Rolled out of there having had a bottle of wine between 2 with another person having a pint only £13 per head lighter. Fabulous meal at a great price it was busy so worth booking a table
