Visited here a few times, most recently for my birthday which I was surprised at the end by my boyfriends rearrangement for the staff to sing happy birthday for me. The food as always is gorgeous, the lasagna is beautiful! One of the best I’ve had however this time I chose a chicken dish which again was absolutely beautiful. We come here as they are able to cater for gluten free which is hard to come by!

I would highly recommend Fratelli's! The food is amazing.. took my children here last week as a last minute lunch after swimming without booking and the staff welcomed us all, they were very friendly and patient while the children decided what they wanted. We will definitely be returning 👍

Impromptu visit but we didn't have problems getting a table. Quite an extensive menu but my friend and I opted for a pizza each. I chose the Pizza Fratelli which was delicious and filling. I still managed some ice cream and a really good cappuccino though. Certainly worth a visit.

Ok, so the food is very nice, the prices are fine and the staff are very nice and friendly. However, the place itself feels quite pretentious and the service is lacking. I had to remind staff that we'd ordered olives and I was asked if I would like another drink...I said yes, then I had to remind them to get my drink. We also had to ask for the bill twice. So overall very nice but service lets them down.

Ok food and good service for a big group. They have an AMAZING pizza oven but both pizzas on the table were underdone?! There should be crisp brown bubbles on the crust and we had flat slightly chewy bases.. pretty disappointed as an avid pizza fan. Really nice restaurant though and dessert and starter was also good!

I do like this restaurant but I was very disappointed today ordered calzone and it came out burnt black the crust should have been a golden brown I personally think the chef should have taken his time cooking it on the wood fire by putting it on the cooler side of wood burner to cook slower.. Did enjoy my flat white. Waitresses were very polite..Manager did seem to think calzone should be burnt 🤔

Parking is in the local sainsburys next door, the signs aren't clear and say 45 mins max stay, its only when you get to the entrance doors that it says 3 hours for Fratellis Customers if providing reg. Food was good quality, authentic, portion sizes were quite small compared to other Italians. Friendly staff and nice open and spacious feel. I would happily return

Visited today with the whole family and we all loved it. The food was very tasty and the portions were very generous we were all so full. The restaurant was a lot bigger then we thought and was spotless. Our waiter was great with my 1 year old daughter and all the family he did everything he could to make sure everyone was happy. Price was great too we expected the bill to be double before we saw the great offers they had on. Will be visiting again in March for a birthday meal.

Visited on Tues 3rd Sept. I nipped in with a very beautiful girl around lunchtime. Decent little drum here. The prices are well reasonable and the coffee was good enough to give my hangover a run for it's money. Food was nice. Made a reservation for a Saturday night, first time I've ever been. Firstly I was amazed at how big the restaurant is. Wasn't expecting it from walking up the stairs. I don't usually write reviews but feel that this place deserves it. Recovering from a knee op, I felt it only right to treat my mum to lunch for looking after me. Thank god we left another nearby establishment and came here instead. First off, a very welcome lift (a nice modern one as well) to save me tackling the stairs. On entering we were greeted warmly and shown to a table. Very shortly after sitting down, our drinks order was taken, perfect given the current temperature. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We both went for specials and both were delicious. Portion size was perfect and was very tasty. The establishment itself is very clean, modern and well presented. The staff are intuitive, friendly and a credit to the place. The prices represent excellent value for money with the final bill coming to just over £30 for a starter, two mains, 2 delicious desserts and 3 drinks. I am so pleased to have come here, they gave a hardworking grandma and mother a well deserved treat and I thank them for that. Nearby eateries could learn a lot from this fantastic gem in the heart of Ponteland.

First time ordering a takeaway from Fratelli's. At first we were sceptical as we were worried that the food wouldn't be at the high standard it usually is and/or arrive cold. But we couldnt have been more wrong! The food arrived on time, both dishes were hot and absolutely delicious! (As always). Deffinately will order again and cant recommend enough. In a nutshell, its a fairly soulless commercial feeling place, but large and spacious and I'm surely very convenient for families or parties, but is not an 'authentic' Italian by any stretch. The food is 'good' but nothing more. Pizza is average for local standards I guess, but cannot be compared to an authentic neapolitan sour dough pizza you can increasingly find elsewhere. I don't get why they bother with the fake wood fire oven, either do the real thing or keep the take-away ovens which cook to the same standard. Pasta dishes - I can do a lot better myself but are generally pretty tasty. Service can be hit and miss, sometimes it's great (the old Italian fella is a hoot) but sometimes entirely absent (20 minutes waiting for the bill while trying to politely catch the attention of staff).

It is what it is. Good food at a price that is competitive with equivalent restaurants. Very busy not a great wine selection but cannot complain. Great if you want a large group night out or a party evening. If you want an intimate romantic evening I would look else where. Staff were great but very busy. Their pizza oven however is amazing and they do do great pizzas.

Wonderful food, but having booked a table for 8pm we were made to wait over half an hour just to be seated. They were obviously very busy but the service was very, very slow. Having said that, the food could not be faulted...the best Italian food I have tasted in well over 20 years!

My son's chocolate brownie was in a lovely glass bowl with the tiniest piece of chocolate brownie and a huge pile of squirtey cream on top. My panacotta tasteless and extremely cold. Not impressed. Would go back but make more of an effort with your desserts please.
