Reviews of Saporita

I wanted to try the authentic Pizza 🍕 taste so went here. The pizza tasted really good and different from what I’ve tried before. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Good to take a window table and enjoy the food and street view together. Will return soon.

Cute little Italian deli. Family run. The cook is the mom’s owner. Great pizzas and lot of small savoury dishes. Many dishes are from north of Italy and bits are also of south (cannoli dessert).
They’ve got vegan options too. Try their Nutella gnocco as a dessert. The staff and owners are super welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended for an informal meal with friends and family.

Lovely family run Italian restaurant. There's just no comparison between Saporita and the big chains, Saporita is in an altogether different class. Superb food, friendly staff, and their negronis are the best.

Outstanding. A true representation of genuine Italian cooking, with genuine Italian ingredients. I'm always happy when I'm here, I'm always made welcome and it's just such an easy choice to make when thinking where I want to eat. Whether your in a rush and on the go, or out for a proper night out with friends or family. "Italian" restaurant chains should be ashamed of themselves when looking here!

Excellent, bustling, small pizza, deli, filled ciabatta, place. They sell by the slice. Don't worry. The slices are huge. Excellent, friendly, service. And...it's great value. Four beers, two starters, three slices for £23 a head plus tip.
There are lots of places you can eat "industrial" tasteless pizza from boring, soulless, chain restaurants. Or you could treat yourself to the real thing at Saporita

Fantastic little place! Truly feels like you're being taken care of by an Italian family! Pizza slices are incredible! Highly recommend!
Kid's loved it as well.

What a great find! Small family run Italian restaurant with a fantastic selection of pizzas and a range of other dishes. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, all delicious! The pizzas are ordered in slices which are one quarter of a 16" pizza. You can order a whole 16", although I'd only recommend that if you are very hungry or are going to share. Service was excellent and a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Prices were good for the quantity and quality of food on offer. The restaurant is quite small so it's probably a good idea to book ahead. You can takeaway as well. Saporita feels like the kind of place the locals would eat in if it was transplanted into an Italian town or village.

Genuinely reminiscent of places in Italy we have visited. Small, unpretentious, with authentic Italian food and drinks, served with warm and helpful unrushed service.
Good sized loo room, soap, drying facilities and WC all stocked and in working order.
Great prices, fresh ingredients, cosy and you know it is good when it is full of Italian clientele!
You can buy your pecorino, amaretti, spaghetti and all sorts in here, for very sensible prices, so you can take that gorgeous flavour home with you after your meal.
Gluten free and vegan options available, as well as really great tshirts for only £3 each!
Will be returning with friends and family soon.

My goodness what a fabulous place to have some Italian food.
We had starters and main which was delicious to say the least. Friendly, efficient staff. Can't wait to go back.

A bijou family run restaurant, that is a genuine taste of Italy (dog friendly too).
Fabulous authentic Italian food, made from quality produce, at a reasonable price, very friendly staff that provide excellent service.
Also as a coeliac, I can recommend their amazing gluten free pizza and focaccia options (on a par with the best in Campania).
Evey time I've eaten in this restaurant, I feel like I could be back in Italy, well done guys, keep up the good work 👍.
