Visited on a busy Saturday night, but were very impressed by the lovely staff and never felt we had to wait long for service. I feel this would be a great place for a big group, lots of choice and something for everyone with great atmosphere. Would consider the food a good Italian/British/European combination. The king prawns were immense. Sadly we've spent too much time eating in Italy and it has spoilt our taste buds, so this wasn't our favourite as we felt the British twist pulled away from the excellent Italian selection. If with a large group, I think this is definitely a front runner though.

Food was delicious and very cute interior. Feels very romantic and classic. Staff were quite nice but seemed a little stressed. Make sure you save room for dessert because it's gorgeous!

Often come here for that special Italian meal, the staff are always friendly, helpful and courteous, again it didn't disappoint, pre-drinks in their lounge that has some great mural's, although the seating now requires attention as the foam in the seats has collapsed making them hard, this didn't detract from the evening though.. The seating in the restaurant is extremely comfortable, the food was plentiful and delicious.😋 Will return again!! April 2022, returned again with a party of 12, have eaten here twice since my previous review, nothing in that review has changed and the menu remains full of mouthwatering choices in every section, the food arrived for the whole group simultaneously, and the waiting staff were always available to replenish drinks. Thank for another wonderful evening and meal...... "I would add", that parking is safe outside the restaurant after 6pm on the single yellow line if you arrive earlier then you'd have to park either in the boxed area's in the street or near the tram stop.... Enjoy your meals..

Highly recommended food was amazing. We went to a 50th wedding anniversary and there was 14 of us. The staff was very professional and friendly. Loved the atmosphere of the place too. They even brought the cake out at the end and made it very special. Thx to all the staff.

Charming service and good selection however costly food (£4.50 for some pieces of bread with balsamic vinegar appetiser) and mediocre food quality. Confused by jalapenos in a calzone tradizionale, and the pizza itself had a tough dough. "Large" carbonara was actually pretty small so (fist size) I don't know what a small portion looks like. Nice enough place but I think next time I'll try somewhere new

Couldn’t get a table till 8:30. Arrived at this bustling neighbourhood restaurant to be told our table wasn’t ready so we would need to wait in the (rather cramped) lounge area and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Unfortunately, the bar there was unmanned so after ten minutes I went to find a waiter and a little after that we got our drinks. We were shown to our table at about ten to nine. Around ten minutes later our orders were taken. A further fifteen minutes or so our starters arrived: some rather odd focaccia bread soaked in a garlicky oil (unpleasant) and a couple of soggy slices of tasteless cheesy bread (purportedly, “bruschetta”). Our mains arrived at around a quarter to ten, over two hours after we were supposed to have been seated. Mine was a slightly unyielding slice of chicken in an admittedly tasty cream sauce. Others had pale, doughy pizzas with blamd fillings laced with chilli. Staff were plentiful but not always responsive and one dropped cutlery onto an older member of the party’s arm when removing plates, with no discernible apology. Busy though it was, the slowness made the not terribly enjoyable experience unpleasantly prolonged, the knowledge there would be a hefty bill at the end of it less palatable still. Wouldn’t come here again.

Great experience. It is difficult to find places that do large groups well but amores was perfect for this. There were over 25 of us and the food was brilliant. It all came out quiclyk and none of us waited long. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was also good they were always happy to help. Environment was nice and comfortable. All in all good set up.

We went for a badminton social meal, after having a couple of drinks at the Berlinger down the road. We were told to take a seat and view the menu whilst they prepare our table. The seating area is pretty cosy, much like a living room and the setting was very relaxed but still tidy. We were asked for drinks whilst we waited and they were provided very quickly. After a couple minutes of chatting someone took our orders before we were seated and once our table was ready we were taken to our seats. The establishment is quite small, but the food was amazing and all the staff were very helpful. Great for small or large affairs. Will be coming back.

Lovely evening, tasty food. Had a lovely evening, great service from the waiters, attentive and friendly (restaurant was 3/4 full). We ordered olives & feta to share as a starter knowing the portion size was more than enough for the both of us. For mains we had fillet of seabass and the chicken, both accompanied with the Limone Sauce - A crisp lemon sauce with fresh parsley, a hint of Vino Bianco. Drizzled with Sicilian lemon oil. Although the sauce had a thick consistency like a gravy we both found our mains very tasty. For dessert we shared the mango cheesecake. 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert plus a bottle of wine cost £61.80 (service not included).

Being from an Italian family myself, we tend to be quite hard to please when it comes to eating Italian out as everything is always compared to how we make it. Fantastic! Our experience started with the staff who were so personable. This set the tone for the whole of our meal. The menu was varied and included vegetarian and vegan options. The meals were served promptly and were delicious - risotto and pollo limone. All staff members were polite and appropriately attentive. The decor was good...and one could almost believe we were in Venice. Go! ...but maybe check and book in advance now😀.

It was superb! The waiting staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious! Any issues with the meals were fixed immediately, and everything arrived hot and promptly! A seriously good Italian restaurant and Beeston is lucky to have it!

Had another great meal at Amores, only one issue was when we sat down we had ordered drinks already which did not arrive. Had to ask 3 more times before they were finally brought to the table after the starters had arrived. Whilst I would usually drop stars for this all the other service was impeccable and the food was cooked to perfection. Also I should note we rang at half 6 on a Saturday night and they managed to squeeze us in at 9, the place was still completely packed so the one small slip can be easily excused. Look forward to returning.

Went there in a party of 7. This place is very very popular, it was very busy inside. The food was excellent with no complaints from anyone. However the service was very poor indeed. When we arrived we waited for our table in the seating area, nobody asked if we would like a drink or anything, we felt ignored. When our table was ready we sat down and had to wait again for a menu and to order drinks. The staff were so busy they did not have the time to be attentive, just getting to speak to a waiter proved challenging. During the meal we ordered more drinks which never arrived but ended up on the bill, when we questioned this the waiter just said OK and charged us the correct amount. As the place is so busy it is very noisy inside, if you want a quiet meal then go elsewhere. When we left there were people packed into the waiting area until their tables were ready, seems most people don't care about poor service.

Lovely food in very large portion sizes! We felt bad about wasting so much food. If you're not a big eater is be best to have 2 starters instead of a starter & main. The atmosphere was buzzing on a Saturday evening & it does get quite noisy so don't go for a quiet, romantic meal!! Amores has been in Beeston for many years and still remains a popular venue. The food is consistently good with a varied choice and reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks selection is good and again varied. I'm not keen on their draft ales but that is just a personal thing as most people would choose the wine or lager. The venue is children friendly that is good for families, as we have taken ours over the years, and now they take theirs which is nice. If you like Italian food then Amores is one to try.

I had heard plenty of recommendations about this restaurant in Beeston but had never eaten there myself. So we paid a visit...and I can reassure you it won't be our last. For me, the quality of food is the overriding factor in any food establishment. We had five different dishes that night and each one of those was excellent! Great service, nothing is too much trouble for the team here.....my fiancé is lactose intolerant do can be hard to cater for with some restaurants, here they were happy to adjust anything to suit. Have been back over a dozen times now and great every time. Sometimes takes a while but to be expected when they are that busy..... Would recommend to anyone....high praise as we don't get out often due to little monster at home.

We went to Amores in beeston last night. I was wondering how things would work ,with these screens everywhere. But it worked. What can I say. We loved it. I had for starters Funghi corn spinach. For main I had Pollo Alla Griglia and that was followed by Mango passion cheesecake.

Lovely local place, with great portion sizes for reasonable prices. Great location very near Beeston centre and transport links straight to the city. Always friendly staff in here, with a good selection of local and foreign drinks, including beers, cocktails and wines. The lemon sorbet dessert is a winner, especially after an inevitably large meal.

The main was good and I can't fault it however my mum had the meatballs which tasted like just black pepper. Such a busy place! Always wanted to come here when I lived in the area and finally had chance! Quick service though, from the moment we sat down and ordered water to drink whilst we decided what to have from the large choice menu to when we finished. We had a selection platter for 2 for our starters whixh came with a selection of salads, meat selection, prawns with praw cocktail sauce, anchovies, olives, mozzarella and tomatoes and Italian bread but that went down quickly before I got chance to snap a photo of it 😅 They have a fine selection of wines alongside a selection of spirits, gins, beers, draughts, ciders and soft drinks something for everyone. The atmosphere was great, the dining area looks great and they've got good social distancing precautions (besides half the staff wearing their masks below the nose, either wear it properly or don't wear it at all). The mains arrived in a great time, were hot and tasted fresh and delicious! I will say that you do need to come here with an appetite as the portions are on the bigger side and are quite filling! Would 100% recommend to come here and try this fine Italian cuisine, I'm sure I will when I move back closer to the area!
