Excellent food and great value on Sundays. If you can go to Bella Mia on a Sunday you’re on to a winner on the half price night! I’d recommend booking and going to avoid disappointment. Because it is so busy the parking can be an issue but there is a bus stop right outside so this isn’t a problem. Staff are all lovely and the ambience in the restaurant gives an authentic, homely and pleasant dining experience. Would recommend

I came here for the first time this evening and I am happy to say that this restaurant not only met but actually exceeded my expectations. It's a proper authentic Italian restaurant. The waiting staff were very friendly and I received a prompt service. The food was excellent. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. I will definitely be coming again.

I've been here a few times now, and every time the food has been lovely! Really good menu to choose from, the only thing I do wish is that they had something chocolatey on the dessert menu, but that's just my personal preference. I'd say the only thing that has let this place down, is the slow service, as much as the staff are really friendly, service can be so slow even when it isn't busy, so just be mindful it may take a while to get served your drinks and your food order taken! But at least the food is worth the wait! 😊

The place was clean but we was put on a small table even though restaurant wasn't full, so was a tight squeeze. It was my birthday and my partner asked to have a banner or 2 and there wasn't. We would go back but not as a first choice.

Overall lovely place to go especially for my boyfriend's 18th. I ordered the breaded goats cheese and for someone who didn't have goats cheese before it was a experience to taste possibly not something I would like but for goat cheese lovers I do recommend. Furthermore for my main I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese and I wasn't disappointed at all as it was very delicious. Overall a nice place to go, lovely and friendly staff who work there so I would say it is a sophisticated Italian restaurant.

The three stars are just for the starter- breaded goats cheese. I really did not enjoy Tagliatelle Carbonara. The tagliatelle were swimming in cream and the whole meal was tasteless. Who cooks carbonara with cream? It is just wrong.

Love the food here. Last I went the menu had shrunk a lot, which isn't a bad thing as sometimes you can have too many choices. The wine is lovely. Big car park which helps and easy access. Staff are polite. Price is good. Decor is lovely.

The restaurant was lovely when we first visited my partner and i placed are meals once we recieved them i was digging in to my chicken and found a short curly hair in it which of course i told the staff she knew which person it had come from. Nice food nice place ALWAYS check your bill afterwards because for the 6th time now they add things on to your bill you haven’t had! And will charge you for it if you don’t check! Be aware apart from that nice atmosphere.... also we put a deposit down of £10 per person also didn’t take that off so was going to keep our deposits too! The young lady who works there there said “ well you should check your bill” but no I shouldn’t have to it should be correct!

Lovely local Italian place, very authentic and with a lovely selection of Italian food (not just pizza and pasta). Been there on a few dates as it's definitely classy enough, and would recommend it from that all the way down to just a nice family meal out. Pricing is fine, not exactly cheap or particularly expensive. If I were to recommend something I'd go with the Penne Bella Mia because oh my goodness, it is absolutely divine. One of the more expensive pastas but it's worth it. Small amount of beef mixed with veggies in a sauce over penne pasta. Not worth losing a star over, however the vegan options are extremely limited and the veggie options didn't seem to be marked on the menu. Could've been good to see the V/Ve system in place. Overall definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for quality, authentic Italian food.

First time here. Not usually anything I really like on Italian menus but I had the prawn linguine and it was the best Italian dish I have ever eaten. Absolutely delicious. We was a party of six people to celebrate my birthday. We all had steak 2 rare, 2 medium rare and 2 well done, each was cooked to perfection. The bar is well stocked with large variety to choose from. The service is first class and the staff are very pleasant. Once seated the table is yours for the night. Not the cheapest but certainly one of the best.

Never disappointed when we go here. The food is great and you get absolutely massive portions, something our family are a big fan of! Whenever we have a big meal as a family 15+ of us when all together, we go here and the service is always fantastic. I think I'd go a lot more if I lived closer so it's a good thing I don't!

The food was quite pricey, but I can't say the standards matched the price. Mine came out warm like it had been stood for 10 minutes. There was a huge portion, but I feel this was quantity over quality as it could have been seasoned better, and to be honest tasted a bit bland in comparison to other Italian restaurants. The decor is beautiful and very welcoming, however the staff didn't seem interested enough to bring us the bill at the end of our meal..although they weren't rude but were pleasant to deal with, they just didn't seem to be as attentive as they could have been..especially as they were only seating about 4 tables. Overall it was a good experience, but it was just missing that dividing factor.

Great. Lovely local Italian. Really friendly staff, looked after a large table (young children + difficult allergen requests) well. Spoke with the chef about the food allergies and he was really knowledgeable and showed me that all the food was made in their kitchen on the day. Lovely grounds, ample parking, nice interior. If we lived local I'd be back more often. A tad expensive given where it is, but given the quality I think that's defendable.

I have visited this restaurant on two separate occasions and have been impressed by the quality of the food. However, this evening I was not impressed by the quality of customer service. After spending nearly 200 pounds in the restaurant and paying our bill with a tip we were(three females) waiting for a lift in the reception area having a chat and generally killing time before our lift around (the bar was closed). We were told they are closed and asked to leave. I said we were waiting for a lift but this did not prompt the person to suggest we wait inside instead we were asked to leave. My disappointment here is the firstly he never asked if we needed a taxi or if we were waiting but just to leave the restaurant. I would expect at this standard of restaurant that they wouldn't leave three women at midnight waiting in the street whilst they were still there. Very disappointing end to the night.

Food was tasty. Crab pasta dish was a bit crunchy not sure if that was shell. Didn't send it back as it was only tiny pieces. Some staff however did look me up and down for not being dressed appropriately hence the 3 stars. So I've been to Bella Mia a few times, it has got alot busier than it used to be. Our food was ok but the waiters seemed to struggle to keep up with the demand. We had a large party of people and only one person was designated to serve the food. I think I won't be rushing back as it seemed a bit chaotic.

Love the food but wish the kichen staff would listen to the waiting staff the last two time i have been i have placed my order for starters and mains and asked if the mains could be brought out half and hour later to give us time to enjoy and digest the starter but they seem to be hell bend on bringing your order literally one after another. You have the table for the evening but it seems they want you to eat your food as quick as possible they may find that letting customers take their time they may order dessert making the restaurant more money who wants to eat a three course meal in less than 1 hour its ridiculous. Please listen and take note what customer request.

Came to Bella Mia last night to celebrate my birthday with hubby, parents, sister and brother in law, it was so well organised, hand sanitiser at the door, staff wearing masks, the food was amazing as always, the 2 young male waiters that served us were fantastic and made sure we had a great night, can't praise them enough, an all round enjoyable experience x highly recommend x

Lovely meal, food really good, but we were the last ones in the restaurant at about 9.15pm and the waiter asked if he could bring the bill so he could cash up which was fine but then because we were still having a natter and not leaving they turned the music off and started turning lights off behind the bar, so we didn't ask for another drink and left the place. I think they wanted to close early so made it rather obvious they wanted us to leave so they could. The lights in the car park were switched off before we had even got to the car and before we had left the car park the whole place was in darkness. It says on the website they close at 10pm but obviously not if they can get the last customers earlier if they can!!

Arriving for our 6:30 booking 5 minutes early, we were escorted to a table promptly. So promptly in fact that we barely had any time to decide our drinks, which we were directed to order from an inconspicuous piece of cardboard folded around the salt and pepper grinders. There was no offer of any wine or beer menus despite all the other tables surrounding us getting the option. After the starter was ordered it took around 10-15 minutes to arrive. This got our expectations rising. It was very good, with great contrasting colours and flavours with a lot of work put into the presentation. Satisfied enough, our taste buds were eagerly awaiting the main, only to be greeted with an overpriced, over sized portion of very bland and very basic food. Things were not looking good after this. The flavours were all wrong and the vegetables (as we are both vegetarian) in my boyfriend's calzone were not grilled like the menu advertises. Rather they were cooked but seemed to have the texture of food that was over boiled. The service then picked up to a rapid pace while ordering the pudding. Something to indulge our sweet tooth I decided to go for the pannacota, my boyfriend the profitta rolls. The pannacota had an overall good flavour but it came with raisins flooded throughout it. My boyfriend was delighted with the profitta rolls and enjoyed them very much. Overall the service was fast, and the food was prompt but you do not get your money's worth in terms of the mains that we selected. The starters as stated earlier were very good and held an expectation for the mains which they sadly did not live up to. Thankfully, the puddings seemed to save the experience by giving us a nice taste to leave with. I wouldn't necessarily recommend Bella Mia to any vegetarian friends of mine, but the meat-eater options may be better than what we experienced tonight. I haven't written the restaurant off as a "never to visit again" but shall certainly be exploring other options before returning.

The environment is nice, it's a lovely place to have a meal. Standard of food was very average, the pollo milanese is nothing better than you could knock up at home. The dessert was tasty but not as described! Chocolate fondant should have the melted chocolate inside not poured on top! Moda will give you much, much better Italian food.
