Reviews of L'Oliva

This was our second visit to l'Oliva - the first was pre-covid, and we've been looking forward to coming back. We booked a table for early evening on a Saturday, and were impressed with everything.
The food was absolutely fantastic, and while it's not cheap (as others have pointed out), it's no more expensive than a standard restaurant meal, and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. Portions are generous, and the food is clearly prepared with a lot of care. Service was quick, and we had maybe ten minutes between our starters and our mains, which was perfect.
Our waitress was excellent - very knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and attentive, and very patient and professional with some awkward customers who arrived not long before we left!
The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely - cosy without being cramped, with decor that feels authentically Italian without being over the top. Definitely worth a visit, and if you book through their website you can choose a date and time at your convenience.

The host was attentive, professional, friendly and welcoming. The decor and the atmosphere was warming and authentic looking. Although the food was well cooked, it clearly consisted of ingredients from the local chain supermarket therefore was very overpriced and we wouldn’t go back. We had an enjoyable evening though.

I had read the reviews about L'Oliva and couldn't wait to go. Let me say right away, it completely exceeded expectations. This is 100 per cent my kind of restaurant. Small, intimate with personal attentive service and the most delicious food that you usually have to travel abroad for. It's a short menu. Excellent! You can be sure that everything is cooked on the premises, not shipped in and microwaved. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. The wines complement the food. It's like a small piece of Italy in Beeston. We will definitely eat here again.

Such a wonderful little place, really makes you feel tucked away and welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter was so friendly and attentive despite being busy. Would definitely come back again, if we can get a table!

Fantastic authentic meal at L'Oliva.
Small menu of exquisite dishes, intimate setting and excellent service.
Highly recommended for a date night, or small celebration.
Prices are very reasonable and overall it's a wonderful place to eat.

This is a restaurant I go time and time again even though I don't live in Beeston anymore! Its really easy to see why: excellent food (best Italian outside of Italy), the staff are lovely and friendly and we've never had a bad meal here. Its an excellent and authentic restaurant with a laid back, intimate feel to it.

Our first time at the L'Oliva with our son and wife to celebrate his birthday. We all greatly enjoyed our food. Proper Italian fare! Very polite and helpful server. Thank you.

Food was good but took loads of time for starters to come. Deserts took 25 to 30 min for the waiter to come and say they only had 1 mango Pannacotta. The reason it took ages is because they had to do a 2 passionfruits right there.
The environment was also good, but wouldn't come back for a meal but maybe for a cheese and meats board with a glass of wine
