If you have Jake serving you then you've got a great example of a helpful and energetic waiter. The food is good too. The only downside was the table wasn't great for 8 adults and 2 children.

Extremely busy , drinks was served immediately & the food wasn’t long at all . Food was spot on . Our waiter Craig was brilliant . Totally professional about his job. Manager needs to show more respect to his employees . Felt sorry for Craig getting grilled by his boss in front of everyone because someone attempted to leave without paying and he was too busy running round looking after everyone like a headless chicken . Not the most welcoming of establishment’s In need of a refurb in my opinion, we had coffee as the other drinks seemed over priced, food was brought out fairly quickly, I had a rack of ribs which was adequate and my wife had Carbonara which was bowl of pasta with little sauce and little bacon, had a lot better like I say it was adequate but nothing to write home about.

The restaurant was busy at the time we arrived but the welcoming staff found a sit for us in a couple of seconds. The food was very good but the portions were a bit smaller than expected, however the taste was great. Special greetings to the waiting staff Shakira who was very friendly and attentive. I ate here with 2 friends before an Oxford game. The place was packed, as was the bar. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, we got our drinks and our food taken before I could even use the app and it all came very quickly. The food was good and the service was super friendly and the team were on great form. They were even able to celebrate 3 customers birthdays in some style despite being very busy.

Popped in yesterday (for the first time) on the way to a concert. I had a pasta dish, and my partner a pizza. All the staff we spoke to were super polite and helpful. Food was really quick too! Great experience, shame it's not closer so we can go back again.

Pretty disappointing. Child's meal had ridiculously small portion of fish, and we had to ask for the salad that was supposed to come with it. Pasta dish came with the cajun sauce that we'd said we didn't want. Had to ask 3 times for ketchup and mayo. Service was pretty slow even though place was far from full. On the plus side, burger was quite good, and music volume was fine, and good decor and atmosphere.

This Restaurant by Vue Cinema complex offers value for money pre-football or pre-film viewing meal, drink or snack. Service can be busy at peak times but always friendly and smily. Worth getting the App for offers. Some additional Festive dishes (like Turkey Cranberry pizza & Camembert Cranberry Burger) and delicious Mocktails offered at Christmas time worth trying too. Latest additions to the menu tried recently like Dirty Dog and Apple Pie with ice cream and warm custard. My stomach was pretty full and greatly satisfied afterwards also because prices still reasonable when everything this Summer is costing more or unavailable. The manager and staff do their utmost to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.

Had a great time here today for my youngest's birthday on a table of 13. The team got us in when we were earlier finishing our Laser Kombat than expected and then Coco was brilliant as our server: kind, quick, good humoured. The whole meal was spot on and super service speed for a busy Saturday afternoon, including perfectly embarrassing happy birthday singing with the cake and candles. Thanks Coco, you made a good meal a great one!

Been here a few times but most recently went here with 5 of my friends, one of our friends smashed a glass by accident and the staff couldn't have been more understanding and helpful. Moved us from our table, one of the waitresses even refilled all of our drinks in case of any shards. One poor waitress came back to our table 4 or 5 times due to our indecisiveness on ordering and couldn't thank the staff team enough. 5/5 for customer service and it even led to me giving the waitress a tip (which might I add I've never done before). Dropped a 1 because I feel like the food variation is very small and the menu could do with some more additions to appeal to more people but as I said, 5/5 for everything else. I'm still praying that both the waitresses that served our table get a payrise for putting up with us alone.

I have been to frankie and benny in Aylesbury and a few others. But by a country mile the one at the Kassam stadium is the BEST. Matteu ( manager) served us the entire night and had the kids laughing and the adults feeling like home. We will be back again top notch staff, food and service

It was as good as you’d expect from frankie and bennys. The reason there’s not 5 stars is because it was like they didn’t want us to pay the bill. We were ignored when signalling for help from several staff members. The end of the experience should be smooth and quick. This made it long and irritating.

My food was good. I had the buffalo wings, chicken Caesar salad and brownie and liked all of it. Plus it was only £12 together. However, my friends' meals were not as good (burger, fries, pizza). The service is very slow. It seems like the restaurant is very unorganized since we were served by several waiters throughout our time.

Used the app for the first time to order a takeaway meal (oxford, kassam). I was very impressed from the easy use or ordering to getting home and indulging in my food. Ordered to collect it at 6.30, arrived just before and it was ready, all packaged nicely in quality recyclable boxes and bags. When we got home 15min later, the food was still hot and everything we ordered tasted amazing especially my bacon burger (highly recommend). Think I'm going to be wasting alot more money now thanks to this app.

Not really been in a Frankie and Benny’s before. Staff were very attentive and the place was busy. Only issue was the automatically applied 10% service charge on a £230 bill. I don’t mind tipping but I’d like to be given the choice and would rather independently tip the waiter / waitress who serviced our table

Wonderful staff and great food. We tried the meatballs, the Italian hot pizza and a burger, which were all fabulous. We couldn't decide between the burger and the pizza, and chose the burger in the end, to which the waiter brought out the pizza too and said it's on the house, just so we could try it! We left full and very happy. Otherwise, we were made to feel very welcome by everyone, all the staff was smiling at us whenever they passed us and asking if we were okay. It felt lovely to be so looked after by the waiters there! And many thanks to the kitchen for the wonderful food (we're already planning our next visit, and we actually mention the meatballs at least once a week when thinking about where to eat), the lovely presentation and the beautifully clean plates and cutlery! Wish you could give more than 5 stars. Be back soon!

Went here with my mum and sister after a loong day of travelling and a lot of stress, and even though we arrived at 9.30pm the manager made us feel welcome and said we could have food and drinks even though they were trying to close by 10pm. We weren't made to feel rushed at all and service was lovely. My sister ordered the arrabiata which unfortunately was too spicey for her but the chef promptly served her a pomodoro instead which was much better (for her), and this was taken off the bill! We left feeling very grateful, full of tasty food, and so thankful for the kind and sympathetic waiting staff, the assistant manager was brilliant - not sure of her name but she said she also worked at Greggs - give her a raise! Thanks again :)

The food wasn't it's usual best. I returned one course which was deducted from my bill and left half of the second course because it was pretty hard to enjoy. Unfortunately the staff had little or no product knowledge and I observed the tables being sanitised to a deeply concerning standard. The high turnover of staff suggests to the Diner that staff retention is an issue.

Coco served us, very welcoming, friendly, great charisma, reminds me of Frankie Dettori! He allows for the right amount of time for letting us view the menu and decide what we want to order. Doesn't interrupt more than once during the meal to check if everything ok, easy to get the attention of when needed. Had the impression from reviews originally that it was low star restaurant rating, however upon our discovery, it's actually a great place to eat, meat selection is good and tasted great, Steaks are cooked really well, and maintained tenderness even when asked for it to be cooked well done. The place was cool in temperature, good for the summer months, it was a tad dark, some dull lighting maybe but perfectly ok to see your food and have that feeling of privacy. During Covid times, staff were wearing their face mask. The internal/external delivery & take away collectors loitering around can be distracting if you are near the front doors. so Yeah great place, good food, at a good price. Will go again soon. 5 stars for Coco and food!

My first time in a Frankie and Bennys. I opted for the Double Bacon Burger, my friend opted for the Carbonara. Food was fantastic, didn't take long to prepare. We arrived at the perfect time before it got busy. Our server was polite, chatty and had a great attitude, attentive, and a good bounce in his stride. Thank you Coco! The Happy Birthday song came on while we we're about to leave which to me was a massive surprise but the fun in the atmosphere doubled within seconds. Perfect way to end the evening.

Group booking of 20 16 kids and 4 adults for our boys birthday and from the minute we walked in everything was perfect. We had the choice of tables, kids packs and slime ready for the kids. Drinks and food order taken promptly and what a great idea to bring the kids food with our starters, why had I not thought about that before!! Our waiter Mark took charge of the kids and interacted with them all individually with different slimes and balloons they could have been there for hours with the entertainement he provided. It was a really great afternoon and I just wanted to pass my thanks onto Mark and to let his manager know just how great he was. Thank you!

I booked 3 tables for 15 people to celebrate my sons 10th birthday . On arrival we were greeted by a lovely gentleman I think he said his name was Fabio ?/? he showed us to our seats and really did look after us ! in fact the whole Frankie and Bennys team were absolutely amazing but most importantly they stuck to the government social distance guidelines and created a happy and safe environment for us all .. Visited Frankie and Bennys yesterday after a viewing at the cinema. We booked for 6 at 19:30 and had a fantastic experience. Luke the manager at the door welcome us and was very friendly, he gave us a choice of a few different tables which was great. We were then served by Alex who was very knowledgable and super friendly! The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was really nice with a very busy restaurant. The service was excellent however the food not so much, within 10 mins of ordering 3 main courses came out, half of mine was warm whilst the rest was on the cooler side as if it had been reheated from a microwave. My daughters meal was also only warm. We've been to other frankie and Benny's before and the food has been much better. Whilst this is a cheaper restaurant than some I still expect hot, fresh food especially when it was £40 just for three meals. Can't say we will return.

Myself and my fiance had a good experience, the food was lovely and very prompt between the starter and the main. There was a hiccup with our drink and one of the starters but Danny the waiter quickly cleared up this issue caused by the guy who originally served us. From then on Danny could not do enough for us and observing from our table he was fantastic at all aspects of his job from cleaning the tables to great customer service. He ( Danny) Definitely deserves recognition! He'll make a great floor manager some day :)

We have eaten here before but this evening we came in for a drink after eating in the OXY next door. It was a dream to get out of a noisy and unpleasant atmosphere and feel relaxed and at ease here. I'm having a great cocktail, we love the music and it kind of feels like we're back on holiday. Great staff, and if the guy who served my drinks reads this then thanks man you're a great bar tender. Felt like i was in capable hands and really enjoying my drink. We love the food here and next visit to the cinema we'll make the right choice and eat here again.

I went to Frankie and Bennys in Oxford with my wife and child for Mother’s Day. We usually go to Frankie and Benny’s in Whitney which is usually a nice experience. Although the first time I went to Oxford was yesterday and the food was amazing. Also the service I was given by our waiter (Danny) was incredible. He was so helpful to both me and my wife and got everything spot on, never stopped smiling the whole time we were dining. He really made our experience worth it and we will definitely be coming back very soon.

We love Frankie& Benny's restaurants, the food is always good , big portions of food at a great price plus tge service is always impeccable . This time though i was a bit dissapointed with my pudding so i ordered a new lava cake with raspberry eich they just recently added to the menu, now that is not a lava cake and it was a bit disgusting too, you got some sort of chocolate fudge on top ice cream and some raspberry jam next to it. I left it there is better if you don't try it a waste of 5, 65 or something like that. Otherwise the food is great. Definitely recommend

Fast service in a very busy restaurant. They cater for the masses well and keep a clean restaurant. You'd be crazy to pay full price for anything and there is an app with vouchers to get discounts. A bit annoying really, why cant they just lower the prices and do away with all the codes? The food is pretty basic and I wouldn't choose to go there again but they do what they do well.

Visited this venue and was very impressed with our server Adam, very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Yet I did notice that he seemed to be running here there and everywhere taking care of his existing tables, clearing tables as well as serving all new customers at the front desk, All other staff members seemed to busy chatting at the bar to be helpful and left Adam to deal with everything and running the front of house whilst also dealing with his own tables. Rating would have been 5 star if it would not have been for over staff memebers being lazy!!!

Hearty supper on a cold winter's evening Popped across from an overnight stay in the local Holiday Inn for a meal. Welcome was warm and friendly, service prompt and my lamb shank was cooked just right. A welcome surprise was the veggies which were also cooked perfectly - not mushy and all in all very tasty!
