Excellent customer service, excellent food, at very competitive prices. Total atmosphere was really pleasant. Well worth the drive out especially you need a gluten free diet, pasta tasted as good as normal pasta.

We have we been going to Salerno’s for over five years and the pizza and pasta are fantastic. The service is great and the restaurant is always warm and welcoming. If you want great Italian food (and amazing desserts) then this is your place!

Visited here for the first time over bank holiday weekend. Surprised it was so quiet as the food was really incredible. Plenty of choice for veggies, friendly staff and the ice cream was wonderful. Best veggie lasagna ever! We will be back again for sure!

One of the best, tasty Italian food I have ever had. Great service as we were offered a table away from the aircon half through the dinner. Pizzas and pastas are around 10 pounds. Well worth the hour drive.

Had the best lunch we've had in country here. Wish we had found it sooner. My husband is an avid carnivore but loved the zucchini fries, as did I. His lasagne was truly authentic. My dish was a pasta with aubergine, crumbled meatballs and a white sauce (can't remember the name) but it was excellent. It's a small place so I recommend calling ahead. Another couple was unhappy with their seats because they didn't. I will definitely return.

An excellent, cozy, Italian restaurant. Serves a selection of pasta and pizza dishes as well as risotto, gnocchi, selection of meat and fish dishes and other Italian classics. The food is interesting and delicious, with good portions for the price. The atmosphere is buzzing in the evenings, make sure to book ahead of time as this gem often fills up completely. However if you do miss out, Salerno's best public secret is that you can collect pizzas to take away.

I live in doncaster and came to visit family, we went to salerno's on Sunday lunch time, I had lasagna, and I can honestly say it's the best I've ever had really, staff were lovely the restaurant was covid safe, my grandson who's nearly five goes every week as he loves pasta, if your in the area give it a go you won't be disappointed

We've been here a few times as a family and with friends and it's all been great. San Giorgio's restaurant made the best pizza ever and we were gutted when it closed but then they re-opened for delivery only - yay! Best pizzas again. Now that they have reopened (under their new name Salernos) as a restaurant in a more central location we can enjoy the pizzas again in lovely restaurant setting just a short walk from home.

Ok . Not exactly value for money . Pizzas were average and way too much mozzarella . Baked dish with meat balls and aubergine was largely pasta and more mozzarella, very little meat and aubergine to be seen ..
