R. A.Great pizza. Great options for inside and outside seating. Would recommend sitting inside the courtyard. We sat outside at lunchtime in the sun and unfortunately there are public benches where people came and smoked but luckily we could escape into the courtyard which despite less sun had great atmosphere even on a quite lunchtime. Staff were friendly and attentive. Clean inside and the toilets well maintained. Self service via the QR code on each table was a really great bonus.
Pizza is a appropriately sized for a good portion either to share if your not so hungry up to being satisfied with a good appetite.
Would definitely recommend for pizza or casual dining in Plymouth.
S. O.This is quite easily the best pizza in Plymouth - delicious options, starters and drinks. Service for us was amazing throughout our meal. The restaurant is beautifully presented both inside and in the courtyard.
What keeps it at 4 stars is it's not dog-friendly inside or in the courtyard - you have to sit on the tables at the front of the building which is exposed and devoid of atmosphere and not ideal with the cooler months coming up. Such a shame as we would frequent here more often as can't leave our dog home alone - hopefully its a policy they will review as it's plenty big enough for well behaved dogs.

The best part is the building itself, such a beautiful place.
For entree we had the vegan fried ravioli strongly recommended.
V. A.The staff was very kind and got us a table at the court yard because we didn't do booking, is beautiful place it looks sort of medieval, really cool.
Loved the rice balls, the pizzas where nice just a bit soggy in the middle that was a bit disappointing but the flavours were nice, and the bottles of coke were over priced.
A. M.An enjoyable dining experience at Knead Pizza, located in the historic Prysten House. Pizzas on the menu were different from the usual pizza restaurant offerings and could be altered or supplemented with additional toppings as desired. Service was friendly, efficient and quicker than I expected since we ordered six pizzas.
R. L.The pizza dough is amazing, let down by poor quality toppings, and too much of them making the base very soggy. Less is more, maybe use the filling for the fried tortellini as a base, instead of tomato based one?
Has the potential to be a great pizza restaurant, also let down by their service, I would have had a dessert if asked, instead I was ignored with empty plates on the table for 15 minutes.
A. H.This is now my favourite pizza restaurant in Plymouth. The courtyard is something really special and the food was both amazing and relatively cheap. Will definitely be taking visitors to Plymouth here for dinner!
M. S.5 star pizza and location, but restaurant experience was very disappointing. Forgot to bring out some our sides and never saw any staff after we finished. So we got up to leave and pay at the bar, wanted cheese cake and coffee. Sadly the staff were all behind the bar and left customers waiting.
P. W.Wow!! The venue is stunning! Been ordering from these guys since they started in Plymouth and so happy they've got a place to call their own let alone this absolute castle! Pizza great as always, although they've taken my favourite off the menu which made me a bit sad.
Also great beer on tap, cans and bottles could be a little more indie or local.
Can't wait to come back!!!
W. K.Fabulous pizzas, my favourite being ‘The Fun Guy’. What a place! Holly, Ali and their team have created a beautiful place to come and enjoy great pizza and to cap it off, they have Paulaner on tap and Helles in bottles - some of the best lager around imho (from Germany).
J. S.Really chilled venue with great tasting pizza. Lovely crust and not too crazy with the toppings. Neopolitan style cooked in a proper pizza oven.
Obviously this is a pizzaria, dont expect pasta or grilled meats!
We found it got busy quickly on a Saturday night however thankfully we did book via the easy to use booking system.
Our kids easily shared a pizza between them (under10yrs). Only slight dissapointment was the rocket and pecorino salad, its had 5 small shavings of cheese. Not worth the £4 in my opinion.
Will be going again for sure.
B. M.Oh my god this was the best Pizza I've ever eaten, you have to try it if you live in plymouth and have a tongue! I reccomend the 'Oh gosh! It's squash!'
My only qualm is that they could cut the pizza as with the knife and fork we tears it apart, although rather than pre cutting it you could provide pizza cutters.
The new location is so nice aswell, my new favourite place to eat!

C. T.A bit expensive for just lunch and it only has 1 wheelchair accessible table, the wheelchair toilet was a bit awkward to get into. My family enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly. I thought that the pizza was a bit soggy and burnt in places, but I've had a lot worse, so I'd go back again just maybe not for lunch.

We had a mix of pizzas and sides but recommend “Parma Farmer” and the arancini balls are insane!! 😊 New venue is one to check out even though they do have a delivery service- don’t miss out! can see a lot of hard work has gone in to achieving this haven! If you do have a chance, eat in the courtyard!! 😁

S. A.We dined in the beautiful courtyard . The cheese garlic bread was amazing ! Our pizzas were delicious. I lived Naples and commented during our lunch that it tasted like a napolitan pizza . They have written on their website they tried to perfect their pizza base to napolitan style. Well they certainly achieved it ! The pizza maker also let my daughter watch him make the pizzas and see them go into the oven. He kindly answered all her questions too and showed us how to make a pizza base. It was a really nice experience Service was great . I would highly reccomend.

N. P.Good little pizza place inside Plymouth market. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and fresh, tasty pizza. Crusts are thin and super crispy. I'd personally prefer a bit more topping for the price, but overall decent value for the size and speed of service.

The pop up is super cool, comfortable and you can watch the guys hand throw the bases and cook your order whilst sipping on a local ale.
The service is always spot on, it’s super cheap for such awesome quality (about £5 for a margarita).
If you have taste buds and like excellent quality in quirky surroundings then you Knead to visit!
