Ate here on Wednesday night, the food was ok nothing special and I thought the portion was quiet small. I had lasagne which came in a small bowl with salad. The lasagne was stuck to the bowl (burnt around the edges) which wasn’t the best. The garlic bread was a good size but a bit bland. The temperature in the restaurant was freezing, I could see the thermostat on the wall from where I sat and it was 16.5 🥶

Well quite a pleasant early dinner really! So the food is excellent, the young staff really knowledgeable and could not help more. The waitress dealing with us was exceptional! I hope they pay her well. The restaurant itself if clean and fairly minimalist. I spotted the excellent clay pizza oven. Proper job ! My only negative is this... They have their countries mixed up. Tapas and pealla? In Italy? And they didn't have traditional full plate Italian dishes at all?? All Tapas style small plates. I found that odd and rather unexpected, never the less it was really nice.

What a stunning place. The meal was absolutely stunning. On arrival we was given discount codes , the service was perfect. My pizza was easily the best ive had.

Beautiful quality pizza made from fresh ingredients sourced directly from Italy I hear. The wife had the pizza which I snatched a couple of slices, and I had the paella which was also delicious. Loved the food and the drinks. Overall 5 star experience.

Was very busy Friday night. Waited 25 minutes to get a drink. Wrong drinks came and I think maybe the bar staff need to check the cocktail ingredients. The food was delicious and lots of it, and so much choice on the menu. The manager was lovely and apologised for the service. Would not put me off going again as the service is usually very good.

Great time. Lovely friendly atmosphere with a wide variety of vegetarian tapas Pizzas were quite clearly fresh and done to order Deserts off the menu were great. Ask the owner for suggestions!!

A fledgling restaurant that needs to establish itself. No queue when we walked in but had to wait a few moments to be acknowledged and our table reservations taken, but I think this was down to inexperienced staff as the restaurant has just opened. Nice place, modern, quite small car park & inside. A good open kitchen with good quality food.

Great great food and a real friendly service make for a wonderful night in this place. As soon as we walked in we could feel a lively atmosphere, which is essential for a good Italian restaurant. The best thing for me was the pizza base, which was the best I have tasted in many years. The topping was pretty damn good as well. A lovely night and a firm promise to return

Service ok. The food on was not very good, the restaurant was very quiet, not surprisingly. Very little effort and thought put into the offerings. Brought us a nice little village I think if the owner concentrated on the quality of food the restaurant would be a little busier.

Lovely clean and inviting place. Found ordering food via an app pretty poor compared to the usual order taking at the table. We took our 4 children and having to flick back and forth up and down screen trying to remember which dish was which is not an enjoyable experience. Food and drinks did arrive promptly after the half hour it too us to finally get to grips with placing an order. Garlic bread was good. Pizzas were tasty. I had the mixed grill which was huge and a bit dry. Service came with a smile. If I was to go again I would check out the menu before we arrived so that we could make a more informed decision.

A nice local Italian. Ordering is via app which I'm not a fan of - I prefer the personal touch ordering from a person and looking at a menu properly on paper - but this may be due to covid. Drinks and food are pretty good. Pizza is very nice. Would reccomend.

Blinking top notch this place 👌🏼we went with the family for a takeaway, to celebrate an achievement at work. After reading reviews that some portions were quite small, we made sure to order plenty - probably enough to feed us 3 times over! Big portion sizes, delicious food, only suggestion is maybe add a bit more sauce to the pasta dishes but other than that 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

It was okay. Their pizzas are good but all bar one of the staff were to put it politely - uninterested, not rude but not giving a warm service that would help you relax and enjoy your evening. A little on the expensive side for what you get.

Bella Maria takes you into the Italian Peninsula with their amazing food, relaxing music and by far the most important, service with staff who care and understand the cuisine. Roberto has been our waiter each of the four times we have now dined and the whole of the Bella Maria family do all they can to ensure you have the best experience. The chef popped his head over the counter to ask if everything was ok and the manager went out of his way to provide everything that would make our night special. To us it was a Tuesday quick tea and to Bella Maria it was to ensure we had a lovely evening. Roberto is such a lovely person and has always made us feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. It would be remiss of me not to mention the food! Jilly is a vegetarian and always amazed at her choices. Pesto pasta and a side salad was full of flavor and the balsamic vinegar topping it off. I had the Lasagne tonight which may sound standard for Italian food and I can promise you this was so nice and served with a lovely salad. The oven cooked potatoes are a fantastic side order and very tasty. The drinks menu is of a high standard and I have only every drank full bodied smooth red wine. Not being a pudding person I have been persuaded on 2 of the 4 occasions now to have one. Tiramisu was the first and delightful and the second was tonight. A dish with a ball of vanilla ice team, a shot of espresso and a shot of amaretto. Pour them both onto the ice ream and then eat/drink. So so nice. Never had anything like it before. And so in short, visit Bella Maria at least once and see how you go, we have only ever had good times and lots of laughter with the team.

Had dinner there tonight. We found it a comfortable and relaxed venue with lovely staff. The food, pizza and a pasta were delicious and my carbonara was the best I've ever had by a country mile. We will definitely be going back.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Preston, however, the pizza chef makes the absolute best authentic Italian pizza, defo a recommendation here for some really nice food.
