Had a lovely visit with my nieces the other day before we went to the cinema. I didn’t catch the name of the lady that served us but she was great. The food was perfect and the fussy eaters left happy. Kids meal deal is excellent value and size.

Angelica the manager took good care of us. My mum’s initial order didn’t live up to the usual standards, therefore the manager made sure that we left happy by proving us an additional dish on the house - which matched the standards!

We had booked the pizza making session at Bella Italia - Reading and all of us had a great time! We were looked after by Roberta who was simply amazing! She explained the process to us when we arrived and was really attentive to all our requests. Friendly, courteous and excellent customer service! We had two 1 year olds with us and they even gave some dough and ingredients to keep them entertained. The whole process was fun, unique and a first for us. Even got to keep the apron & also received signed certificates! All in all a great different way to celebrate a birthday.

An above average Italian restaurant by the side of river Kennet right in the centre of Oracle shopping centre. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the food of acceptable standard. The burger was ok but the pizza and sweet potato chips were like warm!

We really enjoyed our lunch in Bella Italia. Last time we visited was years ago and we didn't really like it. However, this time we were really impressed by their great customer service, delicious pasta dishes and friendliest staff member we ever met, Marieloup. We can be really picky but she was a star.

We went to this beautiful restaurant with fantastic service from all of the staff mainly the most friendly service From kamal . It was my mums birthday and they even done hot chocolate on the house for the kids and a free shot for my mum as she didn’t like cake. The starter I had I would totally recommend to anyone that comes and the food is absolutely splendid. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience for such a hard time with the pandemic currently happening at the moment.

On Friday 31st January decided to treat myself and my daughter to a Groupon deal breakfast. We were greeted and sat at a table by a lovely gentleman, place was bright and clean! We were served by Andrea who was so lovely and attentive, very friendly and professional. Myself and my daughter both ordered the full English with a coffee. Both breakfasts and coffees were hot (most places I go for breakfast the food is warm) and the food was delicious! The bacon was crispy, poached eggs cooked perfectly, meaty sausage, bread and beans. Very filling and highly recommend.

Food is tasty and can’t complain about the value but only bit which lets it down is lack of attentiveness. Took nearly 10 minutes before being seated (even though not busy) but when waiting for the bill it took 20 minutes to acknowledge that we were waiting and that was only after catching their attention. Food was pretty good for a chain restaurant, but, the staff seemed a little too busy, so, they couldn't provide us the service we expected. We were left with empty glasses on the table and not asked if we wanted another, but, the food arrived fairly quickly. I'm a Sunday regular as my son likes it and there is usually a free kids meal for a full paying adults meal which makes it good value. The food is generally good but quality is occasionally inconsistent and cleaniness is average, quite often the floor looks like it could do with a little sweep and a few crumbs on the seats. Service can be slow for Sunday lunch and occasionally I have had to chase but I've also had some friendly service where they interact with my son. The ice cream cart is popular with both my children especially the various toppings making it a little fun for them. They so have a child table sheet and rainbow crayon pen which they find quite novel and entertaining.

Food was good but service was poor for us unfortunately. I was still eating when a server took my partner's plate which is bad manners. And also at the end we sat and waited for someone to give us the bill for for 20 mins. It wasn't busy at all. In the end after trying everything I could to attract attention such as getting all our stuff ready to go. Getting my wallet out on the table. Watching and trying to get attention of the servers eyes so we could pay. I had to call out to a server for the bill as it seemed like we had been forgotten about. I knows it's a bit picky the bill thing but it just seemed we could if up and left and people wouldn't have noticed unfortunately. Maybe it was just a bad day or that one of the servers was very new but yeh hopefully service will be more aware if we do decide to come back because as I said before the food was good

Overall the food was not enjoyable. The staff were brilliant.... once they came to us which took around 30 minutes. The starters were delicious. The calamari is outstanding and we have squid any time we see it on the menu. The mixed breads were also delicious if a little lack luster. The taponade was to die for but the bread was a little meh. Main course time and my diavola Calzone was really not good at all. too much cheese and the middle didnt taste cooked. The salami and sausage wasnt cooked enough so had a tough chewy taste to them. the peppers were so huge they were still raw and overall i was not happy with it. My wife had the penne which was like glue, way too thick and the pasta was overcooked so it was more like a cheese flavoured brick. Onto desert and the churro style desert was extremely bad. Oil flavoured deep fried dough smothered in as much sugar as possible to mask the oily taste. The tiramisu was delicious tho. Over all its a bit too hit or miss to recommend but the staff were awesome

Arrived early (5.50) on a Friday. Luckily a table for one was available. The staff are always attentive without being pushy. The prices are reasonable too. I had the dark beer, pollo rosso pasta, tiramisu and a coffee, all of which was lovely. I used the loo afterwards, which were clean. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Standard slightly over priced Bella Italia menu, but plenty of discounts through Gourmet Society, Wuntu, top cashback etc. Service can be really hit and miss for being on time, but the food tends to be up to standard. It's certainly not the first place I go when I need to eat, but it's alright as a place I can rely on at least passing a quality threshold, if not massively exceeding it.

Sorry for this belated review. (I started writing Google reviews more recently). Popped in for a two month overdue Christmas staff party (I work in the hospitality sector). I really appreciated the waiter Hossei and his team (sorry in case I spelt his name wrong) putting up with the never ending rowdy noise of my drunken colleagues (they're usually calmer but got super excited from their high alcohol intake - I'm sorry). I really liked the chicken which I got told was cooked by Nathalie from the kitchen - it was brilliant! I also really appreciated Philip from the bar being really friendly. Another thing, Philip and Hossei both made the sincere effort to give me a genuine set of greetings to say bye at the end of the night which was also much appreciated!

Went to Bella either monday or Tuesday for breakfast as we had a Groupon voucher. The lady there sorry for got her name was great very welcoming and poliet. Been meaning to do review for a few day but lost the recipt. Me and my mum had the cooked breakfast with coffee and juices. This is now my mum's first choice restuarent to go to for breakfast. We used to be regulars at Bella Italia but hadn't been there for ages.We went today and were not disappointed.The new additions to the menu were a welcome surprise.Between us we had the polpette,the new dough swirls,a lasagne,a caesar salad with chicken and pancetta and the Ultimate Framenti to finish with.The service was very quick despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy and the food was gorgeous and the portions were large and our bill came to less than £50 despite the fact that we'd had 3 course meals and 2 drinks each. I have to give a special mention to the lovely young waiter that served us Jose,not only was he quick,polite and friendly with us he went out of his way to help an older gentleman that was struggling with the menu and took the time to not only point out dishes and drinks for him he took the time to listen to him and didn't try to hurry him along. Well done Bella Italia keep up the good work,we'll definitely be coming back to try some more of the new dishes.
