Very good options for pizzas in terms of buffet options, a help-yourself salad (nice variety of stuff) with every mains and pairing with ice-creams for kids. Most dessert options are with ice-creams ; could be better. There's enough room with many tables but weekends can get very busy at lunch time. And ultimately what you are here for, pizzas are very good (if a little greasy) to taste !

We came here as a couple on a Saturday. We didn't make use of the great deal they had for the buffet, but it was because we are very particular with our pizzas. Nevertheless, the food was great and service was amazing. They had online ordering which made it a very swift experience.

I went in for there £8(+-) buffet that happens between 12-3. The restaurant were very covid strict and tidy, which was lovely. Everything is done online now. For the menu, you scan a QR code or input a webpage to see the menus and order and pay for the food. This is odd for sure, but really works. The buffet has a wide variety of sides and salads to choose from and 4 types of pan or American style pizza's (veg, margarita, pepperoni or Americano). You start off with one and when the server brings you the pizza they ask which one you want next. I'm sure they watch you as when I had my last bite, they bought in the next. This suited me fine. The server was absolutely lovely and I wish I remembered her name. I only had to call her once to order another pizza. The pizza's are small but unlimited and absolutely delicious so order as much as you want. Get a bottomless cold drink as well for about £3. I can't fault anything here at all. The server was lovely, the restaurant was clean and the food was yummy. A bonus is how affordable it all was. I definitely recommend.

Average experience at this Pizza Hut location I am afraid. We chose to visit for lunch owing it to be a weekday and for the fact I like to take advantage of the weekday buffet for unlimited pizza slices and pasta. Have never been to this Pizza Hut location, but it was nicely positioned at the Oracle Shopping Centre in Reading. It offered convenience and was a recognised brand that we trusted so we went to visit. We went inside and waited at the door until the manager spotted us eventually, and he 'greeted' us, but didn't seem very happy or friendly and he said 'can I help'. We said we wanted a table for two, so were seated. I have always had a problem with the booth style tables at Pizza Hut as they are quite squashed and don't provide much room for bags/coats etc. It was my own choice to remain there though, so we then looked at the menu. Knowing we wanted buffet, we were told we could use a QR code to order. We did this and then went to select a variety of fresh and hot pizza slices from the buffet table. The availability of pizza was good and so I was happy with this, the pasta wasn't the freshest or hot for that matter, but it tasted good. The salad bar was neatly stocked with some of my favourites so this proved a treat. We didn't have any napkins so I had to find some, and the toilets were mainly clean minus the soap in the mens toilet which surprised me. We actually had very little interaction with staff during our visit, and they didn't stop at our table to check how everything was. I'm not sure whether to expect this or not as it is Pizza Hut, but it would be nice. Finally, we paid our bill and then left the restaurant. The staff looked at us but nobody said thank you or a farewell greeting. To conclude the review is average, as we had little friendly interaction with staff. This restaurant is great if you wish to serve yourself through the QR code and helping yourself, but if you want that extra touch of customer service then it doesn't score that well in this area. I'd have to consider actually visiting this particular Pizza Hut restaurant again, as there are plenty of other nice restaurants in the area.

We walked in on a casual weekday to grab a bite with our tastecard, realized that tastecard would not work on what we purchased yet the store manager offered us a discount, kind of her that she had a good chat as well. I got the buffet option, and all in all the food is good, but nothing mind-blowing. For a place that specialises in pizza, it does have a decent variety of toppings and crusts. However, the actual quality of the toppings (including the cheese) wasn't fantastic. This place is good for groups and the prices are reasonable. Nothing special though.

Went for a quick lunch with my 18 month old son. Everything now is order via your phone, which works really really well. The pizzas for a lunch buffet are now just personal ones bought to your table. Tables are now very very small however, so 2 people and a toddler is a little squeezed. Service however was exceptional. Really really nice waitress for our visit.

Probably one of the best experiences I had. So, first thing first, it is not my first time in this restaurant, I went there about one year ago, and my experience was really really bad, but decided to give it another go. As soon as you come in, you are welcomed, you barely even have to wait get a table, and now they have this ordering way which is online, you scan a qr code and you order and pay online, which honestly I love it, and I think all restaurants should do that, and it is not taking jobs away, there were still waitresses, not everyone has Internet or a smartphone that can do that, and even if they do, you might have questions about what you are ordering and etc. Then, I was with my boyfriend so we shared a pizza, we did half and half, with 2 sides and 2 desserts, and I have to say the desserts came home because we were toooooooo full, I would probably recommended that pizza for 3 or 4 people, that pizza had 8 slices in total, but with sides, and salad it did fill us up quite quickly, and what I loved was, when I explained that we were full and if we could take the dessert as takeaway, they immediately said they would let the kitchen know, and after a couple minutes they came back with the desserts in boxes. So really good experience. There was more that I could say, but it is the little things that makes the best experience, and those will stay with me. I 100% recommend. Go have one of the best experiences, and after let me know what you thought.

Went for a large lunch friendly staff. You have yo order from your phone now. We had issues with ordering the vegan cheese on a normal meat pizza due to a dairy intolerance the staff member was happy to help and take our orde herself. However we were disappointed with one thing - we do appreciate this may be out of your control but we saw some teens just grabbing things out of the salad sections with their bare hands - something that may not be very safe given the current conditions with COVID. Standard Pizza Hut really. Generally good waiting times. Does take away as well. You usually get families here. Saturday lunch time is busiest. Only bad thing is they don't do garlic and herb dip from the menu, but they do it in the take away? Really nice staff working there. Accidentally left my bag there before and they kept it for me to collect. Would recommend. Love the free salad deal as well.

Me and my boyfriend was on a very important evening and went to the restaurant earlier to make sure we didn't need to wait to be seated down. We ordered the big sharer and everything was going lovely even during this pandemic they handled the customers well and was efficient with their seating arrangements. I can clearly tell they followed the distancing guidelines. We ordered the big sharer which included 2 individual desserts, sadly it never came to us. My bf spent his money and we expected for all of the foods to come. We had to leave the restaurant to catch the train and the dessert still never came when we waited for 30 mins for it. We payed attention how the main dish came whilst the starter wasn't finished, yet the dessert never came even when our main dish was long gone. My bf even asked one of the staffs about the desserts and he said he would speed it up but wheres our dessert we payed for? Please fix this thank you :)

Came here on a Monday night . It was very quiet and service was a little slower than I would expect. You get free unlimited salad with any pizza purchase and can purchase a free refill soft drink glass. I ordered the hot cookie dough for dessert which was a little more cookie than dough for me however it was still nice. The pizza was great and they weren't stingy on toppings. Went in on New year's Day and could tell the place was busy yet out waiter Travis was still very lovely to us and made us feel welcome. The rest of the staff there including Josh and the manager Bradley also made sure that we had everything we needed despite the constant rush. A great exchange and will definitely go back there again for some great vegan pizza options and a great atmosphere.

The food was delicious. The restaurant wasn't busy but it took nearly 10 mins to be seated. Our first server was really slow and took nearly 15 mins to take our order, but the next one was on the ball. I picked up 5 bowls at the salad bar before finding the clean one. Not one of the staff smiled nor was there any chatting or comaraderie between staff. A bit sad really considering the the good quality of the food.

We visited the Oracle riverside Pizza Hut in Reading to see if had improved since my last visited a couple of years ago. Well the food has improved, although we did visit when it wasn't busy. The service started out ok, but after our pizza, it became difficult to get the attention of the 3 members of staff who were working at 16:30. So much so, it took longer to gain their attention than it did to have our pizza served and eaten! It took so long that we decided to take our dessert away with us, which took about 10-15 minutes to turn up! So my advice is, if your in a hurry go to McDonald's!

Fun for all the family and tasty pizzas. You can still get olives, which some places have mysteriously stopped doing - I mean pizza without olives is like... pizza without olives! It's just not right! Anyway, the restaurant in the Oracle has fin decor, and the little kids love the ice cream factory... even the big little kids.

Waited ages for desert(misunderstanding with kitchen) and them coupons 25% off from Oracle shopping mall worth sh..t, not acceptable by Hut. It is some kind of a marketing game. You won voucher for 25% on final bill and than you pay full price. They will lose many clients if they keep up this way. Overall ok

Nice place on the Riverside, food is good value, but sometimes a little short-staffed meaning there can be a wait for food. Great place to go with a group of friends for a meal out; lots of seats upstairs and downstairs, but it gets pretty busy at leak times! Would recommend.

Pizza Hut can be a bit of a mixed bag,some of the staff are amazing others are very slow.So depending on who serves you you could have your drinks and be eating within 10 minutes of being seated or you could end up having to ask repeatedly where your food was and if there was any chance of the coffee you ordered 20 minutes ago.The food is good though and the prices are reasonable especially the buffet but that can also be hit and miss with how quickly they re-fill things.So Pizza Hut get your staff all upto scratch and get the buffet re-filled quicker and you'd be a perfect 5 stars.
