So, called and got the message: leave your number, Ciao. Twice. Obvs busy. Turned up and asked for a table for two midweek at 6:30 pm. So accommodating; they were busy with pre-booked larger groups, but fitted us in if we could order quickly. We did. A nice rosé to slide in and relax. The food was delicious. I had Chicken with mushrooms; sooo good! Nothing overdone. Broccoli and carrots perfetto al dente. Sauce and chicken so well done. Dressed side salad like they know how to compliment a meal. Compliments to Capo Cuoco! Have potatoes, not chips, cos you get lovely baked slices in skins! So good. Enjoy!

Spent the evening here, really enjoyed the seafood platter, although I had preordered my food and 2 weeks later it had gone up £11 a big cash increase for a dish of food

The food was delicious however, there was one item on the menu that we wanted and wasn't available. Also, when we came to order dessert they said there would be a 30 minute wait for the Nutella pizzas which we didn't want to wait. I had the sea bass which was delicious.

Welcoming, friendly all round wonderful experience. Ryan giggs looking waiter, bubbly blonde gorgeous main chef. Chatty and embracing. My first time in Wales and they tolerated me drunk! They made my evening, made me laugh, surprised me with great food and even put up with me after closing hours. I gave 4 stars at first; I never give 5, but moved it to 5 as I typed: a one off, after 5 years of reviews. The food was great, but the whole experience made me feel genuinely happy. In a semi lockdown, drunk n removed from the snobs next door. This restaurant was welcoming, inspiring and what I expected from Wales. Surrounded by rain clouds and storms, but uplifting, surprising and worth the visit. Food was great, the staff were the best. I owe them a much better tip I had promised. Xxx

such nice food, such a shame about the service. had to repeatedly try and get staffs attention. staff more interested in talking to each other than serving. not asked once how meal was (which again is a shame, as the food was great) or if we needed anything else. Would have ordered more drinks if they had asked.

Had lunch here last Monday, so impressed with the service, atmosphere and food, about to book for next week and later in the month with two different sets of friends. Set lunch menu excellent value for two courses, put a couple more choices on the pud and it would be perfect. Thanks also for the advice about the cocktail bar next door, fab too.

Order a pizza via phone to pick up in Positano and it ended up it was Positano Express. Coming after work and tired this was very inconvenient plus Positano Express has no parking so I had to risk it and leave the car n the bus stop. Just be aware of that. Pizza was great though! 🙌🏻

Visited last night for the first time. Fantastic atmosphere fab food really friendly and helpful staff. We had a slight issue with our food but this was sorted out immediately and certainly didn't spoil our experience. Our desserts didn't appear on the bill so I pointed this out to the waiter who was extremely grateful. Had to be honest otherwise we couldn't go there again, and I am definitely going there again, soon. Definitely 5 stars.

Very good quality Italian food at reasonable prices. I had the seafood rissoto, which turned out to be tasty, filling and a good sized portion. The desserts weren't so great and I find I can't recommend them, although maybe my expectations were too high for a standard Italian restaurant. The service was good, polite and prompt and the staff welcoming without being ingratiating. I'd definitely visit again and if you want this sort of dining experience, then you could do far worse than booking a table here.

Visited Positano for lunch today, and after reading some of the reviews I was wary. We were a party of 6 and all had different meals. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Staff were extremely pleasant and portion size was generous for a set menu. So glad that we ignored the negative reviews.

The place is fantastic, the food was exceptional and the manager i believe his name is Fabio is amazing and very helpful! Shame there are not many managers like that in restaurants. Will definately be returning many more times. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Nice atmos, lovely sea bass......attention to customers needs a little fine tuning! Hung around waiting to be attended on entrance - the table was pre-booked. Seated us, turned his back and spoke to the next table and eventually handed over a menu. Turned out to be the drink list. Eventually handed a menu! Food was well served and very good, but didn't get the requested jug of water, to go with the wine, until after the third time of asking! Will certainly go again, and hopefully my £10 tip will spark their memory and afford me some 'Giovanni's' style of service! 😉

I dont think they can handle the pace of Swansea. My partner called them Friday afternoon to make a reservation, he got a call back Monday afternoon. We walked in and got a table anyway. Steak was cooked to my perfection. "Could I have some salad to go with that oil please" my partners chips looked and tasted frozen. If we were that way inclined we could of walked out without paying. It was almost like we were invisible. Only 2 cubicles- 1 for the blue team and 1 for the pink team.

I live in the sa1 area, and I have to say what a lovely addition to the sa1 it is. Better than all the others around it, which I also enjoy. My husband had the fillet steak and says it’s the best he’s ever eaten.. I had the chicken which is in a creamy mushroom and pancetta sauce, can’t remember the Italian name for it but it was fabulous. I would highly recommend, In fact, I have booked it for my 53rd birthday with all the family in March. Summer outside here will be outstanding I’m sure.

Was unsure based on previous reviews, but decided to give the restaurant a-go for our group of eight. We weren’t disappointed and had a great evening. We were asked pre-select our dishes and were happy to do so. The food was delicious, served on time, and the waiters polite and attentive. The restaurant even telephoned to let us know we’d left something behind. Will definitely return.
