Met a friend here for a meal neither of us had been before. We both had pasta and it was tasty with a quick service. It was actually my birthday and the server had picked up on this. To my suprise the chef came out with a birthday desert , with a candle and Happy birthday music then played- really lovely touch. Thankyou Il Camino!

What a fabulous friendly place, the food was great, atmosphere relaxed, the team lovely, it was my friends birthday, I didn't tell the restaurant, but they realized and came out with a lovely pudding for her whilst singing Happy Birthday, great evening, totally recommend II Camino. Thank you.

I can't describe the food in a few words, they cater for coeliac and its was amazing. I had stake with a truffle and porcine sauce. Wow just incredible, I would highly recommend this restaurant, they are not open for lunch only dinner.

Loved it! We ate Fettucini and Veggie Risotto, both cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Also piping hot. Couldn't fault meals or service and they managed to fit us in despite having not booked. (We were passing through.) Seemed popular with locals.

Delicious pasta and starters and amazing home made garlic bread. Great, friendly staff. We went there on our way back from London to Plymouth. Just 5 minutes from m4 and totally worth it!!! Highly recommended

Fabulous Italian restaurant. Very kind attention, it's cozy, and you actually feel like you are eating at home while having a superb Italian food. Best restaurant in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Waiter was absolutely lovely and extremely courteous and the chef came out to speak to my after my meal which was a lovely touch. We spoke about different parts of Italy etc and got chatting away. Food was cooked to perfection. Will definitely make it a monthly tradition to eat there and have already told my family to visit 👌🏻

This was our second visit in 3 weeks and again it was quite honestly faultless. Service was attentive, yet personal and really quite delightful that our server remembered us from the last visit! The food was innovative and beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were knowledgeable and rather fun, it's lovely to see people enjoy their job! Food was promptly served and cooked to perfection. A nice selection of drinks were on offer in a lovely atmosphere. I am amazed at people complain about portion sizes as the service style is clearly explained, sometimes unfortunately it's the customer who needs educated. I am a chef and hospitality trainer and quite frankly I can't wait to visit again. I doubt I could teach them anything. Outstanding!

Wonderful food! My husband and I went for dinner last week, the restaurant was quiet due to the weather but it did not effect the incredible food we had! Cooked to profection (and I have a very fussy husband) The service was also perfect. I'm heavily pregnant and the waitress even told me I looked beautiful (always a good thing to say to a pregnant lady) Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back. Thank you

Second time in a week for a meal there and didn't disappoint either time. Both meals were delicious, the lemon cheesecake was scrummy and light. Only minus was that I couldn't have a cup of tea, while others had coffee, as they only had peppermint tea!

What can I say, the food is top quality. I am throughly impressed. There were four of us for dinner and usually at least one person is left with food envy. I can assure you this was not the case here. Every meal was so well prepared and presented that we were all chuffed. Proper good meal, great desert and the staff are great.

This is real Italian food. It's excellent. I hate to put out a good review because I want it for myself. The Carbonara was wonderful, we had Tomato and green salad as well. We will try the menu over time.

Absolutely fantastic! Excellent food, great atmosphere and good service. I hadn't been here before, though my wife had, but will definitely be going again. Lots of dishes to choose from and stunning desserts. The only downside for some (though not for us on our visit) is limited parking.

Wow! Oh my God! This food is simply beyond awesome,! I have eaten many, many steaks around the world but this place tops them all. The food is fabulous and the service and personal touch makes you feel very special. I love this place! Do yourself a favor and try it - If you don't love the food then it's probably you!!! This is the most amazing restaurant. The staff make you feel so welcome and create a wonderful atmosphere especially on special occasions. The food is classic Italian food of top quality for a much lower price compared to alternatives. The food in my family and my opinion is of one the best. We have all taken to the calzone, but I'd also recommend their carbonara. They regularly have new specials which are always brilliant, and their desserts are lovely especially the cheesecake. Honestly could not recommend this restaurant enough, we try and go on a regular basis because we love it there.

Went for my wife's birthday and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Upon arrival we were greeted warmingly and swiftly shown to out table. The brilliant menu was packed with many different options which made both of our jobs to pick a choice very hard. This was made even harder by the equally impressive specials menu. I had the liver in mushroom and Madeira sauce whilst my wife had the fried mozzarella. Both were amazing and flavoursome. For mains we had the special of half lobster with fish stew. The fish stew consisted of mussels, prawn, cod, salmon and scallops and was by far the best fish stew I've ever had. It was finished with a fantastic tiramisu and hazelnut semifreddo for myself and wife respectively. Throughout the service was exemplary yet not over bearing and was a fantastic experience throughout. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!! Absolutely fantastic!!!!

Birthday lunch with a friend, "Filleto a Piacere" was superb, and the whole meal cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and attentive, my only gripe would be the coke was not very cold, that said, the food was so good, we will be back for an evening meal, with some wine instead of coke ;-D. hoping for a 5 star even. Ok, a new update, we went back for the same meal with some wine, this time the steak was mediocre at best, it was replaced but the quality of cut was nearer to rump than it was tenderloin, the others in my party also found their meals mediocre. It might have been a bad day, or the other chef's day off, just nowhere near the previous standard.

Lovely new years eve My husband and I booked for new year as we live in Wootton Bassett. We thought the idea of being able to share a bottle of wine and walk home was a good compromise to traveling into town and struggling to get a cab home. Safe to say there was no compromise dinner was absolutely delicious and staff attentive and friendly. If my arm was twisted and I had to give a con then the music could have been better. A comical 2 hours of Abba's greatest hits on repeat wouldn't be my first choice but worth it for the delicious gnocchi.
