Didn't make a reservation on a Sundat Evening but lucky to have a table. Absolutely friendly and tasty place to spend our evening here with fantastic steak, pizza and pasta. Highly recommended！！

Nothing special but it could be better. Perhaps they dont think they have to try that much harder to improve given how busy they were. We waited 40 minutes for drinks. I had stuffed riccota pancakes, just okay. Rubbery. We did all enjoy the garlic cheese pizza though and they tolerated the babies.

We went for my mum's 84th birthday,it's the first time we've been for a while,had a lovely meal as always the only problem we had was that they forgot my meal,it came about 10-15 mins later after everyone else had virtually finished there meals.The owner was very apologetic and brought me a free drink,I'd hve no hesitation in going back as we've always had nice meals and service

Me and my Wife stumbled across Donatello's Pizzeria by chance after we'd finished our shopping trip to IKEA. There's plenty of fast food chain restaurants in the surrounding area but you'd be wasting your money by going to one of those. Take a trip to Donatello's Pizzeria instead where you'll be treated to some amazing food and very attentive staff. Me and my wife had between us the following:- Starters Pollo Arrabiata Costolette Donatello Picante Garlic Pizza Bread (v) Mains Spaghetti Carbonara Pollo alla Crema All the dishes were cooked to perfection and oozed flavour. The ribs that I had to start are some of the best I've ever had, they were so succulent and fell off the bone. They had the most flavoursome sauce, a warm rich, sweet and sticky sauce that made my palette fizz. I could go into detail of every course but I won't bore you. Just look at the pics and the next time you're in Warrington (we'll actually be heading directly to Donatello's in the near future) and feeling peckish, head straight to Donatello's, you won't be disappointed unless you're a right miserable sod.

How we hadnt heard or seen this place is a mystery. The staff here are really nice and professional. The food....oh waw. Byndar the best Italian restaurant I've visited in the UK. Our main courses of tagliatelle and lasagne were rich in flavour and delicious. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Love love love this Italian bistro. The servers are so so friendly and welcoming. Visited for a family meal along with a two year old and the team were so amazing and patient. The food is amazing and really good value. The rib starter and pizza breaks were amazing and the pasta and pizza fabulous, fresh and tasty. Good drinks selection as well. We will definitely be back.

Meal was absolutely delicious...cheesy garlic bread was amazing...followed by a rich creamy pollo pasta dish..yummy. My friends meals looked equally divine. Atmosphere was great. Service fantastic. My Tia Maria coffee was lush. My first time there and will defo go back. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars was - where we were sat, which was in the line of service to all other tables so felt a bit like a runway with people constantly passing...wouldn't take that table if offered again. Defo reccomend a visit though. x

The closest to italian quality and style pizza in Warrington. I regret that I haven't visited this place earlier. Staff service is on the top level. I didn't have reservation when arrived and in 10 min. I got a table and in the next 20 min. I got my fresh and hot pizza on the table. Absolutely recommend visiting.

This restaurant was quite nice, 7/10 on my normal scale... We had to book to dine here. They have nice options to split garlic/tomato 'flat/pizza' bread which was a great starter. The mains were good (I had the meat cannelloni option) which was prepared nicely but I felt it wasn't the best flavour-wise. The lemon meringue pie desert was also good (tho the pastry was a little too hard. The service and staff were lovely and I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Some of the dishes we ordered were indeed very good, but the rest of them had a funny, mold like taste to them. The service was not very good this time either. The person who took care of our table barely smiled or asked us anything. Gave 3 stars because the food is not as bad as to not return to the place. But probably not too often.

First restaurant experience since lockdown back in March. Went with a friend for a meal and a chat, and he had to ring around 20 restaurants before he managed to secure a booking with this one! We washed our hands with sanitizer on arrival and was seated in a comfortable spot, suitably distanced from the next nearest diner. The meal was delicious, the waiters that served us had masks on and observed social distancing during all our interactions. We shared a starter, had a main course and a desert each with a beer for under £50 which I thought was quite reasonable. Enjoyable meal and atmosphere, would definitely consider going again if in the Warrington area.

Had table booked for 7pm for my mother's birthday. Been coming here for years the food as usual was amazing. But had to wait 30 minutes for starters and hour for our main meal. Even got asked for we wanted for dessert before we had our main meal. It was a little disappointing as my elderly Father struggles to sit for long and by the end in excrusiating pain . This really spoilt the night 🤔

An annual gathering of old friends chose Donatello's Pizzeria for its meeting and eating place. The surroundings were modern and comfortable and staff were very pleasant and quick to take everyone's order's especially Sam and his floor staff. The wait for our food to arrive was about 45mins but taking into account the number of us and other diners, that was understandable. For me personally the noise level was high. However this was offset by the lovely meal. The menu have a few of us the dilemma of what to order as there were so many delicious dishes to chose from. All in all an experience I shall be repeating.

Quite possibly my favourite Italian Restaurant, I have been an ad hoc customer for over 10 years and love this place. The food is wonderful and as for the red wine choice well that's just excellent. ( we don't dine out to drink tap water 🤡 ) Staff are really helpful and attentive, my wife is a coeliac so they happily make changes so that she can enjoy their gluten free alternatives. Nothing is too much trouble for this small family ran business however, as they are so good at what they do, they are popular so best to book in advance and avoid disappointment

Fabulous Italian.... very homely, they have been here in Warrington a long time and have recently expanded which is great news because previously it was always too busy. I would recomm3nd booking but you can just turn up, you can also order takeaway which I think is a real bonus. The food is full of flavour, the pizza is all stone baked fresh to order with fresh dough. Just perfect really and you get quality food for a decent price. Well above your average Italian

You know you are on the correct Italian when they have a traditional Wooden Oven, besides that, the persons working at the Restaurant are well trained, dressed and professional. Had a Tagliatella alla Carbonara, which it is not in the menu per se, but they did not have any problem on making it for me. They managed to defrost prawns and add sauce like pro's, even my partners pasta they boiled fairly well, the problem came when I asked for a medium rare steak and they got a little confused. I was wondering why it took 50 minutes to cook and thats because they were having a sweep stake for who could leave it cooking the longest. Cardboard could have been described as closer to a well cooked steak than this, the meat was the cheapest cut I have ever seen in an establishment that claims to be a restaurant and it was so over cooked I would almost say the "chefs" day job was supervisor at the crematorium, even the frozen chips were sun tanned. This said the service was good enough to still leave a tip, but would I go back? you couldn't pay me enough, please avoid unless you know no better.
