We have been visiting this Piccolino’s restaurant for over 5 years, and every visit has been fantastic. Staff are helpful and the food is always great. Good atmosphere within the restaurant, tables are always set well, very clean. Would highly recommend, and will continue being a returning customer in the future!

Very expensive unless visiting for afternoon menu before 1700, even then you can end up with a hefty bill. Also the £10 per person previsit deposit is over the top especially as this charged for children as well.

We love this place! Always book here for special occasions such as birthdays. The staff are amazing, extremely professional and very friendly and they are trained to really know their stuff. Nothing is too much trouble. Food quality is absolutely fantastic and just what you'd expect from a high class restaurant. They pride themselves on high quality local produce with a particular emphasis on local seafood. Highly recommended but make sure you book ahead as it's very popular.

Nice to have a Picollino's closeby. Nice decor, staff very professional and friendly. Great menu, great gluten free options but would be nice to have some more dessert options as there is only ice cream/sorbet. My only criticism is going upstairs to the toilets it's sweltering because of the kitchen. Going into the bathroom was even worse, no windows to vent or cold water taps. It actually made me feel sickly 😔

The surroundings are nice, the staff are reasonably good, the food is OK, but by god the place is expensive. I came out feeling well and truly stung with the bill. If treating yourself to some where nice costs this much I will pass. A £200 bill for 4 people is serious money and to slap a service charge on at the end of the bill is pure cheek, I am sure they did not do this pre covid. Few would complain at the bill but then looking round many were men out to impress their dates....

Visited today for the first time with my almost 20 month old Grandson. We sat outside and were attended to immediately. High chair provided within a minute. A lovely ambience in the air as the weather was beautiful. Chatted to neighbouring tables, all smiles and lovely polite conversation. Our food was brought promptly which was wonderful as I was trying to occupy my Grandson until it arrived. It was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly, efficient, polite and friendly. We did not feel rushed considering it was extremely busy due to it being the last day of the Eat Out Scheme. Thank you so very much for a truly wonderful experience. I shall indeed return with other family members and with friends when we go "out out" :-)

Been before and could not fault. However, last time it was disappointing. Money was knocked off the bill as we didn't eat our mains. Steaks where over cooked and was just a steak on a plate, nothing else, no salad, tomatoes, garnish, nothing. For 28quid you expect more.

Part of an established chain of restaurants and very much focussed on the high-end. Menu options are extensive but not overwhelming and offer sufficient choice for even the most demanding palette. Food quality was very good and matched by the attentive service. This is a 4/5 star restaurant but it is expensive and some may find the prices too high. Parking isn't widely available, although there are a number of on-street options if you're lucky enough the find a space.

I've been always disappointed by Italian restaurant chains in the UK but this restaurant it's certainly not a disappointment at all. We went at the quietest time on a Monday for late lunch and all the food was delicious. The pomodoro sauce pasta was so simple but so tasty. And the side of courgette fries is the best. You can tell they cook with the best fresh ingredients. And the service was 5 stars too. Highly recommended.

Dealt with our large group (12 adults plus children and babies) for breakfast with no issues - even though they didn't have enough coffee cups, they quickly washed what they had and did their best. It was busy and that shows how popular it is - breakfast selection was great, smoothies were lovely. The staff were great with the kids. Just watch your head on the low hanging lighting!!

I like this place. It's a very standard Anglo-Italian menu but done well and the management and staff are all engaging and friendly. Customers are always the priority and service is swift. It's always consistent too making it my go to place for quick client lunches

Restaurant is good, upstairs is great when you can get a seat. Hopeful they complete the extension, my old criticism was about being sold to by the staff however that has now been fixed. Refresh the menu and put on a few more specials and it will get a 5 star.

Went for an early dinner. Saw there was an early dinner offer which the menu said finished at 6pm. We were told it finished at 4pm, despite what was written in black and white in front of us. In the end we spent less than we would have done with the dinner offer. When our main course arrived my lasagne was lovely and piping hot but my partner's tagliatelli was not very warm. Overall, disappointing compared to previous visits which have always been good.

We have visited Picolinos in countless occasions however on this visit we’re very disappointed with the tomato pizza bread which used to be fantastic. On this occasion the base was thicker and stodgier than usual and had little to no sauce on top. I thought that it may have just been a one off however after asking fellow family members who are also regulars they also agreed that the pizza bread was in no way as good as it used to be when they last visited. This is a real shame as I am sure your repeat customers look forward to enjoying it as it has become a staple dish on he menu. I would recommend revising the new recipe as it’s clearly not half as good as the old one.
