Beautiful meal tonight for my birthday, just me and my cousin went and they gave us an amazing night! Our lovely waiter sang happy birthday to me and was so accommodating. We have been coming here for years, the owner is a lovely man. Lovely authentic family run business , authentic food atmosphere! Thank you for a lovely evening :)

The food was amazing, and the staff exemplary. My partner and I had the pleasure of meeting Benedicto himself! Such a nice and friendly chap, and we could tell he’s hands-on with his restaurant. The staff are absolutely incredible! We would definitely come back to Benedicto’s if we get an opportunity to go to Oxford again!

First time here and I love Italian food, I had the Gamberoni to start, the vegetarian pasta and a tiramisu all delicious. My wife wasn’t so keen on her choice, the mozzarella, tomato and ham was cooked as a mini tagine and she thought it a little oily, here main was chicken and mushroom tagliatelle which I thought was nice, and profiter rolls for desert. Staff very attentive and pleasant.

Poor Quality food Steak full of fat This is second steak still couldn’t get that right but on a positive note I didn’t get charged and the manger was good to deal with my complaint and apologised. Such a shame as the place and atmosphere is lovely

My mum hahs always wanted to visit here, so on her birthday we did just that. The service was brilliant, and above. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and very polite. The food was outstanding, very well presented and across our party of mixed adults and children (7) was reflected in clean plates. The choice is extensive but not bewildering - which is always a good thing. Would I recommend Benedicto's........ of course - indeed we have got some friends over from Canada in a few weeks - and we will be booking them in.

We had a group of six, including children visit for Saturday lunch. The food was amazing, we all ate something different and it was all good. We had two courses with drinks. I can easily say this was the best Italian meal we had eaten in a long time and the service was second to none. Would definitely recommend and visit again if we lived local.

Really top notch italian restaurant in the heart of Worcester. Very pleasant surroundings, extremely efficient and friendly staff and excellent cuisine. I had the standard bruschetta which was extremely generous and absolutely delicious. The garlic bread melts in the mouth (picture shows a half portion). I then followed with a main of the house special - benedictos tagliatelle, a generously proportioned tagliatelle in a delicious sauce containing tender chunks of chicken and moist mushrooms - an absolute delight (picture is not reflective of the whole portion as I had already started eating!). With several soft drinks the whole thing came in at just under 40 pounds for 2. The only downside was that for such a large restaurant there are a small number of toilets and in these Covid aware times I was surprised to see all the servers were not wearing face coverings (though the cooking staff were). Overall though a highly recommended eaterie.

My mother and I came for dinner, and had a lovely three course meal. The place has a really friendly and homely atmosphere, with very attentive and friendly staff. All the food was delicious, we weighted just the right time between courses and everything was really delicious. Very good wine list. Just visiting Worcester for a football tournament that I am playing in tomorrow and came out with my wife and came to this restaurant by way of recommendation from our hotel and the food was amazing!!! Also the management really 'love' their patrons and enjoy serving their people with a great heart. Well worth experiencing but you need to book!!!

Authentic Italian experience from the welcome through the menu to the bill paying. My party of seven had a range of starters and mains including pizzas, pastas, specials and sea food. All, without exception, were superb. The House red was reasonably priced and very suitable for the dishes we had. All staff were outstanding and attentive which created a great atmosphere in the extremely busy restaurant. Will come again. Highly recommended.

Great tasting food. Good prices. Great building & location. Honestly, it was all almost perfect. Such a lovely Italian in the heart of Worcester. Easily accessible from the city driving or walking. The food tasted great. I had the Calamari starter & their special Gnocchi with beef as a main. Nothing to fault - although the special was a bit on the expensive side for the portion size. All the staff were very pleasant & cracking jokes. The only reason this is missing it's 5th star is that I felt very cramped in the upstairs room. The tables seemed to be on-top of each other & I found it hard to talk with my partner sat opposite. At one point, the table next to ours was being waited upon & I had to move my arms to avoid knocking into the waitress... I understand businesses want to make money back & be full every weekend evening. I just felt there were a few too many tables to make up for the lost customers over the hard 18 months hospitality has had. Also, this tightness would be a big off-putting factor if you are worried about a lot of people in a small spaces still! Wish I could give it 5 stars for the food. But I must be honest & say it was not a comfortable place to sit & enjoy the delicious food.

The staff were friendly to me when I arrived and the vibe in the restaurant was very bustling and loud which was fun. The food was okay but was slightly disappointing. My partner got the truffle risotto and it lacked salt and had literally no truffle flavour to it which takes the mick when truffle flavour oil is so cheap these days. Everything has balsamic glaze on the rim which needs needs to be left in the year 2000 in my opinion as it is purely for decoration. The mixed starter sharing board was nice. The food here is not cheap so again, quite disappointed. Definitely still one of the nicer places to eat in Worcester though which is why it is very popular.

Joined a party upstairs on the covered terrace, with a lovely breeze on a warm evening. Cocktails, food, wine all 100% delicious; (be ready for vast quantities, though - portion sizes could easily be reduced). Waitress Izzy was spectacular! How she remembers everything I've no idea. Really professional, efficient and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening, and highly recommend.

We don't usually have takeaways as have been disappointed in the past but we had been out for the day and didn't want to cook we thought we would try Benedictos. We were not disappointed. The website for ordering takeaways was easy to use, the choice was impressive and the order was delivered promptly in recyclable packaging. We had 4 different meals, some sides and. desserts. Everything was superb, as good as if we were eating in the restaurant ,beautifully cooked and delicious. We hope this takeaway service continues even when the restaurant is fully open again.

We had a lovely meal on Friday. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, my husband said it was the best meal he had had, they brought the chef out to see him. He explained how he had prepared it and that it was a new dish he was trying. They also brought round some sample for us to try, we all enjoyed them, they were made out of chick peas, would never have guessed! Would definitely recommend to others.

We had a few takeaways from here during lockdown so we're looking forward to actually eating in the restaurant for the first time. From start to finish it was superb. This place has always been really nice and recently visited to celebrate a friends birthday and it was great! The most recent visit however was might be best The place was very busy and while this created a nice buzzing atmosphere it also meant that the attentiveness of the staff was unfortunately lacking and when it came to pay the bill it took us over 10 minutes to get someones attention. Also as a there are NO vegan options and really only one dish that can be made vegan. No puds on offer.. not even sorbet!!

Staff were nice and friendly. The service was fairly attentive although to order top-up drinks people did not offer quite regularly enough. I had seafood courses and they were both very nice. The chocolate dessert was suitably rich and the prices were very reasonable. I would come back just for the dessert to be fair.

It's quite a large restaurant set over 3 floors but was already quite packed by 6.45pm on a Saturday so booking ahead is recommended. The food was excellent and we shared an delicious cheesecake for dessert. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, making for a wonderful night out.

I first went here on a works night out, a large group of us. We were all made to feel very welcome and there was a friendly interaction with all the staff, it was at Christmas so everyone was in high spirits. Due to the season it was busy, but there was no delay in the food service. The food was magnificent. My second visit was based on my first. I was so impressed with the place I decided to take my family, six of us in total. The evening was a little more reserved (as it wasn't Christmas) but was no less enchanting. It was a an outstanding evening spent with my family. The food surpassed my previous visit and the evening was very much enjoyed by all. I now look forward to my next visit...

I went to Benedicto’s on Saturday in a group of 12 people to celebrate my birthday from the moment we arrived we had excellent service and great attention to detail. The food was really amazing and tasty! We had a member of the party who had low salt requirement and they were exceptional in how they handled this! Well done Benedicto’s!! It's always such an amazing experience every time we visit Benedicto's. Went there first time for our engagement and haven't stopped coming back since. Lovely food, always amazing service and environment. Would highly recommend it to anyone who's after authentic and delicious Italian food.

A little disappointed in the food after reading previous reviews . It was very busy and clearly a popular choice. Whilst the food was ok, we had a bruschetta starter which was really good, the mains were disappointing. My partner had the gnocchi which tasted ok but the portion was small and they did not suggest a side order of maybe vegetables or otherwise. I chose the tagliatelle Benedictos which was plentiful but was lacking in flavour , a little bland to be honest. It needed something more to bring it to life. We both chose the tiramisu and both felt, again, that it lacked something, very little sponge and masala,lots of cream. Overall we were really disappointed as we'd heard such great things. We would give it another go and would hope for a better experience. 🙂

It was ok. We had three meals. You could tell which meals had fresh pasta and which ones didn't. The lasagne was just gooey and you couldn't tell what was pasta and what was filling. It also wasn't hot all through, actually none of the meals were that hot. I think the lasagne was reheated and I really couldn't eat it. It wasn't worth £13.50. Starters and mains for three people came to £70, so it's a mid price resturant. Our starters were nice. The wine was £23. I know you pay more for wine in a restaurant but I've had better in Pizza Express for £19. In summary the food was mainly good, the staff are very friendly and pleasant but forgot the water and didn't ask if we enjoyed the meal nor why i had left nearly all my lasagne. In think the prices across the board are a little high, like by a pound or so.

They do add a 10% gratuity to the bill which I always find annoying and should be given NOT taken. That said, we still had a great meal. Treat yourself once in a while. You know you're worth it.

Food is almost excellent but somewhat lacking in vegetarian options (none demarcated V) and certainly no vegan option. The meat eaters were more than satisified - the steak was apparently superb and cooked exactly as requested. Friendly staff but a little slow and chaotic and disappointed warm Pellegrino and glasses with no ice available for drinks. Wine by the glass measures are not washed between customers tainting the wine. Decor is modern but a little disappointing. We would go back though and were pleased to feel valued as customers.

Mains - tagliatelle good value, risotto was nice but lukewarm.

I had a 70th birthday party on June 30th a Friday with 30 guests upstairs it was fabulous. Drinks-wine, service and most importantly the food were spot on. We were welcomed by Tona and handed a glass of Prosecco with canapes. The starter was mixed fish and Italian sausage etc, main course chicken with a to die for sauce and veg etc.Everyone had a wonderful time and were talking about it for days. The bill was very reasonable. I cook a lot myself so can be very critical, not this time. I would certainly return there and recommend this restaurant to anyone. booked a table for 6 for three birthdays got to restauant no table booked, had to wait at least 20 mins for a table to be made ready not happy has told to wait by bar which was in main entrance. finally got seated to be handed a wine menu and then menus, we chose a bottle of rose to be bought a bottle of red and told it was rose, we later asked for another bottle to be told the first one was red not rose although told it was rose. we then ordered our starters and main course, we then noticed people at other tables who had just ordered being given plates of hor d'oevres we were not offered any. starters came out they were good. mains came out five out of six were right the last was totally wrong, we told them straight away for them to bring us a knife, we then told them again that the meal was wrong they eventually checked and apologised and took the wrong meal away the rest of us had eaten our meal before the right meal was bought out, so the person had to eat alone not good. they cleared table and bought sweet menus out we ordered sweets and three coffees, sweets were bought out and two of the coffees but we had to ask four times for the other coffee not good at the next table to us they had a birthday and the waiters bought cake out to them and sang happy birthday, we had three birthdays and nothing for us. we asked for the bill and so did table opposite us, while they were waiting they bought them hors d'oevres again but nothing for us. we spent over £200 and we left disappointed the food was very good but the service we received was not good, everybody should be treated the same. the food was very good but we will not be returning any time soon which is regrettable
