K. B.I’ve been twice now and the service has been wonderful both times. The staff is friendly and in this time of some restaurants still sticking to/prioritizing reservations from the pandemic, it means a lot to walk in as a single person and then find a table for me.
I ordered the regular garlic bread and the Pescatola pasta. Remarkably delicious with lots of seafood and delicious sauce. I also had a small glass of the Chardonnay. )I drank most of it by time I took this photo 🫣)
j. t.Chose garlic bread for starters and a pasta dish after, didn't have to wait to long for both dishes and come fresh and hot, staff friendly and found us a table no problem, good atmosphere 😀
D.I had an excellent 4-course meal here. Really recommend the food, it was cooked perfectly at each course. The price point I would say is about right too, a bit on the higher side but the quality of food certainly exceeds. Only lost a star as I felt rushed here by the staff which is a shame as everything else here was absolutely perfect.
E. S.Would highly recommend Caesar’s Italian, we had a lovely meal last weekend with family. The food was amazing! One of the group misread the menu and the staff were more than accommodating to offer alternatives and meet our needs. On top of this my partner dropped the receipt for my recently purchased engagement ring and the staff have very kindly posted it out to us! Excellent food and service, we will definitely be back!

J. d. G.The food was delicious, but the staff wasn't very kind. We ordered the 2 for £10 cocktails and thought we could mix and match (Be warned: you can't!). So when they came with 8 cocktails for 4 people we were very confused. We asked if 4 of them could be returned so they took them away, only to come back later and to say it was our fault and that we just had to buy them. Then when I mentioned they should probably put on their menu that you can only get 2 of the same cocktails for that price, they just shrugged and walked off. It's sad because it's a very nice location and the food is great.
F. N.We popped in on the off chance having been let down by another restaurant's appalling online booking system. Summers evening, race night and already very busy, Saturday 6 15pm and we got a table for 6 immediately. Amazing food, even more amazing service and just a wonderful all round experience. Staff very attentive. We love this place having been several times before and will definitely become regulars for our family meal nights out. Please note. The burger is incredible as are the garlic mushrooms.
A. B.We stumbled across this restaurant after attempting to get a table at ASK Italian, our usual haunt, only to discover they were taking bookings only. What a brilliant find. No fuss, just great, friendly service and really, really good food. The front window looked like it had been vandalised and awaiting repair, which could easily put people off (town louts!) but it shouldn't. We will come back here next time we are in York. Can't recommend the delicious food and great service more highly. Could probably do with a little makeover inside but that didn't matter at all.
