Its such a good place. In Italy we loved these kind of places where you can taste few bits of different pizzas. I would love to have same concept place in our region. Me and my husband ordered each two slices and I was full for all day. Also the staff is so friendly. This place is very popular it was packed with people once we visited.

Cool selection of interesting pizzas - way different than you'd normally expect. Lots of veggie/vegan options. And a huge selection of different hot sauces to try on your pizza, too! Friendly staff, quick service, and very tasty. Great place for lunch. I'll be back again for sure.

Great pizzas squares for approximately £4. Offers Student or NHS discount. Has it's own toilet. Plays tunes by Air. Only 4 stars as have had even better pizzas elsewhere

Tasty pizza sold in slices, great Brooklyn Lager on tap and a really nice friendly atmosphere. We really enjoyed our visit and it was fun sitting by the windows and watching the world go by. There is a real welcoming vibe to the place. There are chargers for your mobile phone and even free women's hygiene products in the loo just in case you got stuck outside without any. I also loved the great picture of The Clash on the wall. This place is cool and the pizza is tasty. Highly recommended.

Lovely hoisin mushroom pizza! The mushrooms had a really meaty texture and would be great for anyone who likes meat but is looking to reduce their intake. They also had loads of chilli sauces to try with your pizza. Great service and I look forward to returning again in the future!

Found this place by accident. Lovely atmosphere here and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Great choice of pizzas available along with drinks too which range from soft drinks to alcoholic ones. Average prices too. Also have a fantastic range of vegatairan and vegan pizza too. Would recommend if in the area and nice to support local businesses too.

This is a great little pizza place, and I hope it's here for many years to come. The Block has a wide variety of toppings on offer thanks to a constantly rotating menu, which is divided into meaty, vegetarian, and vegan. Their Asian mushrooms, while a bit messy to eat, is superb, and their margherita — not normally a pizza I'd go for due to its simplicity — is exemplary. Everything is served by the slice, so you're not stuck with a giant disc of dough to contend with, and you can eat in or take out. In short, The Block is home to some of the best pizza in town, putting big-name pizza joints like Pizza Express and Pizza Hut to shame. Pop in and get a slice — or two if you're really hungry...

This is the perfect place to take a pit stop and have a quick, tasty lunch in between your shopping or in your work break. It is such great value for money and there will not be a pizza slice that doesn't suit your taste (with there being vegetarian and vegan options as well). This is the perfect opportunity to try something new or stick with a classic topped pizza. Well worth a visit and great to support a new, local business as opposed to visiting your standard chain.

Awesome crusts. Nice variety of pizzas by the slice and good value for money. Even managed to have a Bernard Black style imaginary spring romance with stool sitting pizza eating woman in a funky frock; also great music is played. On several occasions I've downloaded a song I've heard there.

Laid back, simple modern pizza place selling pizza by the (rectangular) slice. Looks like the menu changes regularly, has meat, vegetarian and vegan options. I tried the vegan butternut squash slice and it was delicious! Nice locally owner place to sit and watch the people go by.

The atmosphere is chilled but welcoming, the pizza ‘blocks’ are well sized but me being a pig opted for two! The meat based ‘Red Corvette’ was outstanding and the classic Margherita was just as good!! This guy knows what he is doing, the music is of great choice too I might add. I expect this place to be around for some time!!

My first visit to The Block. I was greeted by their freindly staff, the menu was explained and I was directed to one of many seats available. What followed was the best part of the visit, the pizza! As a fellow pizza lover and having tried many other places, I have become very particular. Everybody has tried a run of the mill slice. This is 100% not the case here! Generous portion size, great base and all the ingredients were fresh, resulting in a slice of pizza that actually tastes of the ingredients that are on it. I will definitely be returning and will be telling all my friends also!

I love this place...the pizza are cooked fresh every morning in shop. They do pizzas from meat , classic, vegan and my favourite a hot spicy sausage and chilli hot mmmmm...and they even have a chilli sauce and chilli oil you can put on yourself for more heat!!!! It's great..Scott the owner is a friendly guy who you can chat with if you want. I think he is trying to get a alcohol licence, so you can have a beer with your pizza.

(Translated) Cut pizza and exceptional beer. Good ingredients, especially the dough (I saw that they used Italian raw materials flour, tomato). Very good quality / price ratio. The guys who work there are very nice. I recommend it to everyone. (Original) Pizza a taglio e birra eccezionale. Ingredienti buoni, sopratutto l'impasto (ho visto che usavano materie prime italiane farina, pomodoro). Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. I ragazzi che ci lavorano molto simpatici. La consiglio a tutti.
